Beyond Expectations

I will never have enough positive words to describe what having Julia and Kevin of Holding & Co Photography as our photographers meant to us.

When we initially began searching for vendors for our wedding, I came across Holding & Co Photography here on WeddingWire. As I continued my search, I kept comparing every other photographer's pictures to the images captured by Julia and Kevin. I knew that I would not be happy if we settled with anyone else, and I'm glad I listened to my gut! Julia and Kevin have an innate ability to capture beauty, light, and emotion with their cameras in such an artistic way that it's as if every picture could be printed in a magazine. I have gotten so many people telling me that our photos are the best wedding photos they've ever seen.

Not only are Kevin and Julia true artists, but they are incredible people as well. With COVID and CA wildfires, not only was our original wedding plan changed, but our second, third, and fourth plans were as well. The Holdings were there for us through every obstacle that came in our way with supportive words and promises that they would make it work no matter where we got married.

Choosing Holding & Co Photography was the #1 best decision that we made regarding our wedding. The images that Julia and Kevin captured on our wedding day and our subsequent post-wedding adventure shoot will be with us for our lifetimes and will always remind of us the incredible people who were there to make our day memorable. Hiring Julia and Kevin (Holding & Co) was the best decision we made for our wedding.

You're probably searching all over for that perfect photographer, making lists and comparing prices. We did the same thing. Now is the time to stop searching and reach out to Julia and Kevin immediately. After our initial call with them, it was clear that not only were they experts and professionals, but also incredibly down to earth and easy to work with. They were helpful in working with our budget and incredibly detailed and thoughtful throughout the process.

My wife and I are both camera shy and haven't worked with a professional photographer. Julia and Kevin made our photoshoots feel natural and incredibly easy while also capturing some incredible moments. The pictures they took are the best photos we have of ourselves. You'll probably want them to follow you around for years to come after you see yours. :)

Deciding to have Julia and Kevin as part of our wedding day was a fantastic decision! We had an instant connection with them the first time we met, making the entire process easy, comfortable and fun. Being a husband and wife partnership, they truly worked as a team in capturing my wife’s beauty, our big families and bridal party’s crazy/fun mix of personalities. When we received our photos, we were extremely happy with the emotion, memories and special moments we will now have forever, on a day that seemed to go by WAY to quickly. Having Kevin and Julia as our photographers was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! First of all, you get two excellent photographers that read each other really well and work together to get an amazing variety of shots. In addition, they are very creative, super easy to get along and connect with, and they make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera (and I usually feel rather awkward). They aren't afraid to try any crazy idea you might have and are willing to work with you to get the look and feel you're going for. I also love how they really try to capture the story of your wedding. Besides the stunning photos they took, probably my favorite thing about using them was their incredible help organizing the wedding day. It's like having extra coordinators! Based on what we told them we wanted out of our day, they made a detailed timeline that helped our day run so smoothly. As the bride, that took a heap of stress off my shoulders! We've recommended them to several people already and we're always getting asked who took our photos! Do yourself a favor and book them!

Kevin and Julia were so amazing to work with. When we first met with them I had many questions and expectations, being that my brother was also a wedding photographer. At the end of our first meeting, i didn't have to ask a thing because they covered everything my brother told me to ask about. Their style is unique, and exactly what i was looking for -- timeless-- I'm no model, nor am i comfortable in front of the camera but they have a way of making you feel relaxed during the pictures. I couldn't be more pleased with all our pictures! They captured all the important moments I was looking for and more! I wouldn't definitely recommend them to family and friends! They are such a down to earth, easy going couple, that you can tell this is their passion. They are professional in every way. Check out the pictures for yourself! We used them for our videographers and same day edit as well! They video was everything we could have asked for as well!!

These two are a class act. They made the process very easy and natural. They were there when we wanted them, and seemingly transparent when we wanted to be in the moment. Their photographs were spectacular and artistic and modern but what made them stand out to me was their ability to make what could have been a very stressful aspect of the wedding into something fun. I would (and have) recommend them without hesitation.

Holding & Co is SUCH a worthy investment!! They totally captured our wedding in the most artistic way and in a way that we will never forget. They are so artistic and really have a good eye for the camera. The best part about the whole day was that I totally forgot that I was even being photographed for much of the day! They allowed me to just live in the moment on my wedding day and not worry about posing certain ways. They captured it in the moment as things were happening! I was impressed with how well Kevin & Julia work together as a married couple and how they complement and encourage each other. They worked SO well with our videographer also! We all had a great time that day. They even picked out a photography spot for us when we weren't sure where to do it! They were very timely with the photos and you can tell they took their time with each and every one of them. People were so shocked when they saw how good the photos turned out! Both engagement and wedding. I am so surprised more people don't know about Holding & Co! I will definitely be calling them again to capture our next major life event!

We are so happy we hired Kevin & Julia. They are so professional and make you feel so comfortable while shooting, as their saying goes "feels weird, looks good." You will not regret hiring them, yes they are on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. On our wedding day, not everything went as planned and they were ready with plan "B" and "C!" Now we are happy to have such beautiful memories of our wedding day!

Kevin & Julia are top notch! I'll get to their stunningly talented photography skills in a moment, but we need to speak about them as professionals first. They were a dream to work with! With all the stresses going on with wedding planning, all the balls you have in the air, it was so refreshing to not once be concerned with anything related to our wedding photos once we hired these two! Memories will fade with time and your wedding photos will be all that you’re left so we wanted to make sure that we were in the right hands. We hired them to shoot both our wedding and engagement photos and both shoots were absolutely amazing! And also, a lot of fun! Our wedding venue was a dark basement speak-easy, so naturally getting photos with good lighting was a big concern of ours. Kevin and Julia’s portfolio made it quite clear that not only could they be artistic, they were also incredibly talented technically. Seriously, stop reading this review and hire them! When Matt and I discussed the priorities for our wedding celebration, photos were at the top of our list. The wedding day flies by all too quickly and it was important to us that we have high quality images to really capture that fleeting, but extraordinarily important moment in our lives. In our first meeting with Julia and Kevin, they said it best: your wedding photos are an heirloom, passed down from generation to generation. That resonated with us.

We came across Holding & Co. while researching photographers in our area and fell in love with their style, rooted in photojournalism. Their photos are not only beautifully done, they perfectly capture all of the many "moments" that encompass the emotions and events of your wedding: the nerves, the private moment you share with your husband or the laughs you have with a bridesmaid in the dressing room. It's all of these memories that you are going to want preserved for years to come. They took the time to make sure they captured those cherished moments. And not all photographers spend the time to touch up all of the many photos that make up your entire wedding portfolio. That attention to deal was a selling point. We also liked the fact that Holding and Co. is a husband-wife duo. That made us feel like we could really get it all - from both my point of view as well as Matt's.

Beyond the photos, we loved Julia and Kevin as people. They are laid back, silly, thoughtful, kind, and meshed well with Matt and myself. This is incredibly important, especially if you aren't used to being in front of a camera. They helped us remain ourselves and helped that come across in all our photos... while also making us look good ;) We can't recommend them enough. Thank you, Julia and Kevin, for giving us an heirloom our family will cherish for generations to come. It means the world to us!

I planned my wedding from overseas as I was in a long distance relationship with my (now) husband but despite the timezone difference, Kevin really adjusted and made the time to fit my schedule for a video call (Thanks Kevin!). I originally already had agreed to do the shoot with another photographer. However, when I saw Kevin & Julia's portfolio and photo samples, I just know I had to have them at my wedding! When we got the photos, it's like we re-lived our wedding day. No regrets! :)

This husband and wife team drew us in with talent. Not only did they exceed artistic expectations we couldn't have picked better people to bring so much joy to our wedding. My advice for a couple that is getting married is that Julia and Kevin make the process so easy for you. They will take that extra step to make sure your wedding amazing! You may question the price a bit, but once Julia and Kevin give you a vision in how your photos will turn out and you actually see your photos, you will know that your money will be well spent. They are also fun to work with and make sure that nothing goes work on your special day as well.

Book Holding & Co.!!! Kevin and Julia were a dream to work with. I had met them when I was a bridesmaid in another wedding, which they rocked. When it came time to plan my wedding, I always had them in the back of my head.

We had several phone conversations and skype sessions with other photographers. and Kevin and Julia just clicked with us. They work as a team and they strive to be the best. They have the creative passion for photography, but also the business side to them, which makes them professional. They were on the medium to high side, in terms of price. But we decided that it was worth it... and it so was!!

We had our engagement session up at the Griffith Observatory in LA. Our guests were freaking out when they received our save the date. It was helpful to do an engagement session, because it made us more comfortable with the little poses. and just made time for us to get to know Kevin and Julia.

Our wedding was in Pasadena. Kevin and Julia were very accommodating in the getting ready schedule, because bride and groom were in different locations. We have received a few sneak peak photos and they are dreamy!!

Something else that I was able to do for my hubby as a wedding present was a boudoir session with Julia. Look up Julia Kay Boudoir. She is very talented and made me feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend!!! My husband was stoked with the final product.. and to be honest, it was very liberating and free to do that.

Kevin and Julia truly care for their couples. and they want you to be happy. They are also super responsive! This is very refreshing!!

My only recommendation to the next couple is to make sure that you have a point person in charge of family photo time, so that Kevin and Julia can focus on taking pics instead of corralling family members. Also, print out a list and make sure to have a physical copy. This will save you time.

Within this digital age, finding a photographer for your wedding can quickly become an overwhelming task, so let’s break it down into just a couple categories for a winning photographer. First category: CHARACTER. From personally working in the industry for years and working side by side with the 2006 Professional Photographers of Western Michigan (PPWM) photographer of the year, I learned which critical element sets apart one photograph from another… attitude! Many great photographers are passionate, skilled, and well marketed but only a few are truly able to display a customer mindful attitude under pressure. Realistically, something won’t go as planned during your engagement session and/or wedding day. No matter how small or big, a winning photographer will provide resolution without it even phasing their positive attitude. Adapting to the environment, instilling calm confidence, all while getting the perfect shot is exactly who Kevin and Julia are! Second category: ARTISTIC ABILITY. Now with the digital age, anyone can take a 100 pictures instantly and chances are that at least one photo will be decent. But who wants just “decent” photos or worst, who will leave things to “chance” on their wedding day?! Kevin and Julia have invested time and learning to develop their skills and talents as photographers. Their artistic ability and precise eye will capture details you never thought were possible in a photo! Third category: TEAMWORK. Now a days the dreaded wedding day battle between vendors seems to be happening all too frequently. Kevin and Julia do not fall within this unethical trend. Kevin and Julia will work seamlessly with any and all of your vendors allowing everyone to perform at their highest potential! What would I have ever done if I hadn't stayed up late clicking around on the internet and stumbled upon Kevin and Julia's website? I don't know. But if someone is reading this and wondering if they should drop these guys a line, PLEASE DO.

My dream wedding photographer in Portland Oregon was far out of budget, and I was so let down over it that I didn't know what to do. Somehow I ended up on Holding & Co's website, and I was so impressed with their candid shots and timeless, artistic, and clean photography style that I had to drop a line. Kevin and Julia were so professional. They were more concerned with making sure our personalities and visions matched than they were with simply booking a wedding and after talking to so many other photographers, that resonated with me.

After several phone calls, a couple face times, and a copious amount of emails, we realized we just simply couldn't have anyone else photographing our wedding. They collaborated with us on engagement photo location ideas and showed up a couple hours early to set up shots. The pictures were amazing, almost editorial even, and the shots were well composed and showed great technical skills.

We had them come up to Portland for our wedding day and they were so communicative and put up with our extremely long 11-12 hour event like it wasn't even an issue. They were polite with my other vendors, they were so patient with my overwhelming family, and they seemed so excited to be there photographing my wedding. I haven't second guessed this decision once.

We just received our photos and I'm already having problems trying to figure out which ones I want to hang in my home - I want to have a blow up of every single one! It makes me so happy to be able to relive my wedding day through Kevin and Julia's camera lens and we don't hesitate to recommend them to our friends even though we're almost two states away. Kevin and Julia were an absolute delight to work with. From our adventurous engagement shoot in the snow to our perfect wedding night. Kevin and Julia made us feel extremely comfortable and helped us enjoy our night. Not only was it a blast working with them but, the pictures are beautiful and they grabbed candid and all the details of our wedding. The two of them work as a team and use their experience to make sure that you get the pictures you had always dreamed of. The quality of their service is top notch and they will do about anything to get the correct shot :) haha. They are also very responsive towards emails and/or any questions from the first day of inquire till months after your wedding. They could not be MORE professional, they are always on time (if not early) and both are very prepared with all of their photography equipment. All they want is for you to be happy and they are willing to work with you for anything you may want. They are not only professionals but are just such good people. After we had our engagement shoot we were so looking forward to hanging out with them again for our wedding. We also had the pleasure of using their videographer for our wedding and it couldn't have been smoother. They took care of everything also from that side and it was nice to have them all work together on the wedding day. We both highly recommend Kevin and Julia for photography and/or videography for your wedding. You wont regret it and you will be extremely happy!

Should i just say that i had my wedding 3 months ago and i know it sucks i was not able to do a review from that time on.. But now please consider this review as part of your options. These guys are AMAZING!!! I know that i never disappointed myself and my husband from choosong them.. They are very professional. Always on time with meetings. Answers bunch and bunch of questions of mine whether texts pr emails as soon as they can and on the main event you cannot see them just sitting around. I never even noticed they ate dinner already coz theu are always aroind the place. You can never go wrong with this couple Kevin and Julia and also their assistant Brittany FYi.. She is such a darling too.. Their pictures are more than amazing that you can even imagine yourself. We had our engagement photoshopt with them as well and Julia was so even helpful to propose a place where to shoot it and it was a great one too??!! I hope this review helps you brides out there to choose them.. You will never be disappointed and you will always treasure this moment for the rest of your lives!!

I can't recommend Kevin and Julia enough. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and incredibly professional. They went above and beyond to capture ALL the moments during our wedding (both big and small) and had fun doing it. They were incredibly freindly and positive and from the moment you met them they made you feel at ease. Having your picture taken for hours on end can get a bit awkward and tiresome, but Kevin and Julia made the whole experience so fun. They are insanely talented at what they do. My husband and I are completely obsessed with all the images from our wedding. There were so many amazing moments that my husband and I had separately prior to the ceremony and they managed to capture them all. Kevin and Julia also had a great mix of traditional and more nontraditional shots. We have some that look almost editorial but others still captured us just smiling with our family and friends. If you need a wedding photographer, look no further, Kevin and Julia are the best!

Kevin & Julia were beyond amazing... I come from a photography family where my father is a cinematographer and I grew up behind the viewfinder myself, so finding a photographer we deemed worthy for our wedding was a real challenge -- until we met these guys. To say they were perfect would be an understatement of the century. They were down to earth, fun, easy going, compatible with our personalities and truly affordable. Their style matched ours and their execution was flawless. You will not go wrong with these two whatsoever. Whatever you do -- make sure you do an engagement session with them prior to the wedding to let them get to know your style, personalities and comfort level in front of the camera -- it will make all the difference in the final quality of your wedding photos! We simply can't say enough about Kevin and Julia! We could tell from the moment that we met them that they were the real deal. Professional, courteous, and knowledgable. They work so well together to make sure that each moment is captured, and they do a phenomenal job to make sure it's done right.

We just got back our wedding photos and could not be more pleased. We'd also recommend the videographer that they work with. The highlight video of our wedding was fantastic. Thanks to Scotty and his crew.

More than anything else though, they are down to earth and will listen to what you want. And they'll suggest ideas if you don't know what you want. You'll likely end up spending more time with these two than anyone else on your big day, and we certainly made the right choice.

I am so happy I choose Holding and Co. for my wedding!! My husband and I were married in June and luckily Kevin and Julia were our photographers. My sister is a photographer, and since she was maid of honor, we knew we would need to hire a different photographer for our wedding. My sister searched high and low for the best photographers in our area and she found Holding and Co. My husband and I met with them, and we were sold! Their work is absolutely stunning- they are creative, talented, and consistent. And to top it off, they are such cool and fun people! My husband hates having his photo taken, so he was a little nervous about having to spend a whole day with a photographer following him around. But he had a great experience with Kevin and Julia! He says that Kevin and Julia both made him feel natural and not awkward at all. I felt the same way and actually had a great time chatting with them on my wedding day! They are funny and easy to be around, yet they do an impressive job of slipping into the background so that you forget they are there and act like yourself. Once my husband and I found Holding & Co and talked with Kevin the first time, we stopped looking. Photography was something we didn't want to skimp on and we could see the quality from the first couple of photos we looked at. We flew Kevin and his partner out to New York for our wedding and we are SO GLAD we did! They are so much fun to work with and professionals to the nth degree! Our guests said how friendly they were and they also dressed up for the occasion (no black hoodie or black jeans - super dapper - much appreciated!!!). Our photos turned out beautiful! They also did a day-after shoot for us in the snow in New York in JANUARY and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I am in love with those pictures and they feel so special because they really captured our relationship. It didn't take long for Kevin to figure out our personalities and he really captured those well in all of our pictures. Holding & Co is awesome!

First, Kevin and Julia Holding of Holding & Co. are amazing, easily the most professional and best photographers I have ever worked with. My wife and I had the vision of a high fashion shoot in the low desert. We hit the Googles to find a good photographer to meet us in Death Valley, and Holding & Co. popped up. Immediately upon viewing their site we knew they had the vision we were looking for. We typed up our request and sent it off, with one additional note, we live in the DC area so there would be a three-hour time difference to take into account when communicating. Julia got back to us quickly, and made working out the logistics so easy. Even with hotel expenses included in the rate, Holding & Co. had amazingly reasonable prices. Since we booked over two months out, they did an amazing job of keeping in contact with us and we discussed the locations in detail, and the kind of images we were looking for. Holding & Co. made the entire set up effortless on our side. We arrived at the first location for a sunset session on the Death Valley Dunes with no worries that Holding & Co. was going to deliver everything we hoped for. After the shoot was complete, Holding & Co. remained in contact until the final product was delivered. Everything about the experience was perfect and Holding & Co. delivered art. Our photos wowed our friends and family, and we could not be more thrilled with the results!

Holding & Co., Julia & Kevin, are without a doubt the best! From the first day we met them, to receiving our photos and videos, we have never been disappointed. They nailed it!

Our engagement shoot with them was so comfortable and not awkward at all, they are extremely personable! Then came the wedding day, they were timely, calm, on-point, patient, and so much fun to work with! They are very organized and made sure they captured everything we asked of them. They are the WHOLE package.

The pictures came out gorgeous! They captured so many precious moments and some really cool artistic shots too! It was a great mix. They definitely have 'the-eye'.

There videography team was amazing too! They captured so many precious and intimate moments and created an amazing video for us that bring back laughs, smiles, and tears all over again.

The Holding & Co.'s attention to detail is superb! We couldn't have asked for a better photography and videography team. The moments they captured are precious, and we are so blessed to have them to look back on for the rest of our lives.

Kevin and Julia are amazing!! They walked us through the entire process and were so patient answering all of our questions. My husband and I live in the North Bay Area and they were able to Skype with us for our first meeting and then continued communication via phone and email. They made our engagement session fun and not at all awkward. All of our family and friends have said that our wedding photos look like they belong in a magazine. Their packages are also affordable considering the quality of their photos. I highly recommend them!!

Julia & Kevin are absolutely the best! After finding them on WeddingWire and viewing their beautiful work, I knew they were the ones to hire to photograph my wedding. They made me feel very comfortable and were easy to work with. They never stopped coming up with creative ideas for photos throughout the engagement session and put me at ease. I'm not used to getting my picture taken, but they made me feel more than comfortable. Preparing for the wedding day was more than easy. They had me fill out a questionnaire so they knew exactly what I wanted for the big day. They had tons of fun suggestions for the portrait photos and after they showed me a few sneak peeks of what they had shot throughout the day, I cannot wait to see the final product!!

My husband first met Kevin and Julia as a groomsmen in a friends wedding a couple of years ago and then again in another friends wedding a year later. They are SO awesome we couldn't wait to book them ourselves when we got engaged and we keep saying we can't wait for another friend to get married so we can work with them again!

Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they have the perfect mix of professionalism and fun! All of our photos are so perfect because they made us feel so natural! Even the coordinator at our wedding venue said they were the best photographers she has ever worked with! Not only is their work absolutely stunning, but it is unique and artistic as well, and I love that they went above and beyond to capture moments we didn't even realized had happened during our special day.

If you're looking for talented, reliable, professional and kind photographers your search is over! Kevin and Julia have a unique style of photography that can really only be described as enchanting. They give you all the standard stuff you'd expect like family photos etc.. but the romance shots we got from wedding and engagement photo shoots with them are just mind-blowing. They have a great way of listening to what you want while still maintaining their own style. On top of creating fabulous photos they are just about as nice as it gets. Always on time, very clear and communicative which is so crucial during the stressful planning of any event. We were lucky enough to have a close friend recommend them after going with them for her wedding and we must now pass on that good fortune. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to our absolute close friends and family. You're in great hands with Holding. Once the wedding planning began, I knew that having the BEST photographers was our top priority. Therefore, I searched high & low before contacting Julia & Kevin. We found Kevin and Julia on thier Facebook page and loved their style of photography. We contacted them and they were very open and helpful in answering all our questions. When we did our engagement photos, Kevin and Julia were so friendly and open to ideas. They really are a team that brings different perspectives together and know how to make you feel at ease. They had a journalistic style and were also able to take posed pictures as well. They weren't overly expensive compared to many other photographers, and they really worked with us to create the best package for our wedding.

Kevin and Julia were hired for our wedding on March 13, 2015 and for over 10 hours of service. Everyone that saw and met them (including our many vendors) loved them! No drama, very professional, they used wireless headsets for communication when on different parts of our venue and almost acted as a second set of wedding coordinators with their timelines. We loved every moment with them- they got the pictures they needed, took pictures that we requestes, and were even able to create the dramatic lighting pictures that we fell in love with.

Kevin and Julia, you guys are the best and we will never forget our special day because of the many amazing photos you took for us. Thank you for making our wedding planning and wedding day the best ever! We love you guys!

Words do not even begin to describe what wonderful photography these two can produce. Kevin and Julia are the quintessential power team. Our wedding photographs will be cherished for eternity. I can't recommend Kevin and Julia enough. I had to plan my wedding from the east coast (D.C.), and I never worried for a moment that our photos wouldn't be perfect. They were the only photographers we interviewed -- we were so impressed with their work, personalities, and enthusiasm (over Skype no less), that we knew they were the photographers for us. They were so fun, you can see it in our photos. We couldn't stop laughing and smiling. I've worked with other photographers before, and they don't compare to Kevin and Julia. They respond to questions immediately, ensure they understand exactly what you want, and make you excited for your shoots instead of dreading them. I'm disappointed I don't have a reason to keep corresponding with them because they are friends now, not just a service-provider. I want to come back to CA for our first anniversary and have photos taken again, in part so I can work with the Holdings. You should definitely hire them!

Holding & Co. Photography is beyond amazing!!! We first met Kevin and Julia at Starbucks to see their work and decide if we wanted them as our photographers. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting them, we already knew what the answer was. YES!!! I didn't even have to see photos to know that they were perfect. We felt like we already knew them for years and felt very comfortable with them.

Scheduling for our engagement photos was super easy and they worked with our busy schedule. My Husband is not the easiest guy to relax and do romantic poses, but they made us laugh and feel comfortable and even brought out the kid in us to be silly. I cannot express in words how amazing and perfect my engagement photos came out. They captured more then I ever expected and I knew they would not disappoint when it came to my wedding pictures.

Kevin and Julia were very professional and knew that capturing my wedding memories were my number one priority at my wedding. After spending 10 hours with me and my wedding party, they captured everything that I asked and more. I am so in love with my wedding pictures and the moments that they captured with my husband and I. I was even tearing up at some of the pictures because it brought back all of those happy moments.

Graham and I cannot thank you two enough for what memories you captured at our wedding. I feel that you captured us to the tee with those pictures and we never felt that we had to pose for the camera or stop what we were doing to take a photo.

First and foremost we have to thank Kevin and Julia so very much for the amazing work that they did. They even went as far as to go scope out our venue ahead of time so that they would know where to get all the good shots. Also, we chose to take sparkler photos, and they made sure to practice prior to our wedding day so we could get the special shots we wanted. We received an engagement session with our wedding package. My husband and I had such a wonderful time frolicking around on the beach with Julia and Kevin and were later surprised by gorgeous photos. As impatient as I am, I asked for when we would be able to view our photos for our engagement session and wedding, and both times they delivered on the exact date they promised me. Julia is always quick to respond to emails, and whether over email, on the phone, or in person they both have a great way of making you feel relaxed and comfortable. My husband and I have already deemed them our photographers for all major life events, so watch out, you guys have lifelong customers in us :)

I used Holding & Co. Photography for my engagement and wedding photos. I am beyond happy with how the photos turned out. Kevin and Julia are professional as well as open to ideas. They did an amazing job capturing the special day and as well as pictures of the guests.
They were very prompt with responding via email and text.
The package prices were very reasonable. They are able to make customized adjustments to fit a budget which most of the other photographers I've inquired with couldn't do. I highly recommend them and are especially appreciative.

We love Holding & Co.! They were our photographers for our wedding this past February 2014. We met with a number of photographers, but after meeting Julia and Kevin, I couldn't imagine having anyone else by our sides through our special day. They are very professional, and have a keen eye for interesting shots that make your album very unique. They work so well together, and its an added bonus that they are also newlyweds. They strike the right balance between coaching for a good shot without making you feel uncomfortable... We were not naturally comfortable photography subjects, but they made us look like pro's. The engagement shoot was awesome, they drove to meet us at our special location and even included my horse in a few shots. The day of the wedding was awesome! They coordinated 100% with our wedding planner and had the day planned out. Their videographer was integrated into their package and he was awesome too! Throughout the ceremony, I didn't even notice they were taking pictures - ideal, but they got plenty of awesome pictures. They spent a good amount of time with us prior to and after the wedding ceremony, but allowed us to dictate what was important to us as a couple. It took a reasonable time to get our pictures back from the wedding and we had so many awesome pictures to choose from!! They found the right balance in posed shots and candid ones. We are still working to select our shots for our album because it is so hard to choose from all the great options. They have been so great to work with, great communication throughout the wedding planning and up to the day of. Everything went according to plan - which is amazing, because we were not the most organized couple. Thank you so much for capturing some of the most tender and special moments in our commitment of a lifetime! I would recommend Holding & Co. to anyone, including all my closest friends.

We absolutely adored Kevin and Julia. They were such a great team. They made are special day so amazing. they captured the moments and the essence of the day within the camera lens. We couldn't of asked for a more down to earth couple to work with- they really made me and my husband feel so comfortable.
You know how sometimes taking pictures can be awkward? Well, not with these two. They are so fun and funny and really make you feel comfortable and confident.
They really listen to everything you want in your pictures and truly do their best to make it happen. We have gotten so many amazingly kind and wonderful compliments on are wedding pictures and we have Kevin and Julia to give all the credit too. They were such a blessing to work with and we look forward to using them again when we have a family of are own one day! :)

Julia and Kevin are amazing people! they truly love what they do, and have a true passion for their work. Their photos are incredible, I really can not say enough great things about them. Their prices are extremely reasonable for what they offer you. They are so helpful throughout the whole planning process and make everything less stressful and more fun. Let me just start off by saying that if you are looking for a photographer... stop looking. You search is over. Kevin and Julia are without a doubt the BEST around. We met with Kevin and Julia after meeting with a few other vendors. From the second we got to talking, we knew that we wanted them to capture our day. A 5 star rating is not high enough.

Kevin and Julia provided an incredible service. From the original consultation, to receiving the prints, our experience with them was phenomenal. I witnessed both of them sacrifice life and limb to get the right shot. From Kevin diving into dirt and thorns at our engagement shoot, to Julia army crawling through leaves during the reception. I've never seen two people so deeply concerned about capturing the right moments at the right angles as these two. We had our power cut out shortly after the reception started, and never came back on; Kevin and Julia worked 100x harder (which is nearly impossible as these two already put out 110%) to make sure they captured every moment perfectly. They helped us coordinate the wedding when our planner went MIA, and even took the time to make sure we were doing okay during the chaos.

The shots we received were breath-taking. I've never seen such drama and emotion captured in a single photo. Every one of our 500+ photos brought a new element of excitement to the table. We are truly blown away by the talent and skill that these two have.

Words cannot express how thankful we are to have had them as our photographers. They are incredible individuals, an amazing couple, and truly inspiring photographers. We absolutely cannot thank them enough.

We love you guys so much. Thank you for making our day so memorable!

I absolutely love these two!! They have such great chemistry and make it so easy and relaxed to be around. They are amazing! When emailed to ask questions, they are so quick to respond. They make the week before the wedding stress free due to their itinerary and coordination with the venue! I would 1000% recommend Holding & Company Photography. I already have to my brother and sister-in-law and to my friends who didn't have a great photographer for their wedding. Everyone at the wedding loved them. Not only are the amazing people, they take amazing pictures. They took our engagement photos in the desert and we had the best time. They're so friendly and so great! I'm so glad I found them online. I will definitely use them again if I ever need to. They just give you the best vibe and warmest feeling just being in their presence. I can't say enough things about them. Their pictures are so unique and clear! Love them!!

Julia & Kevin Holding have great attitudes, and were extremely responsive to our questions & concerns. Since they are new to the wedding photography business, their prices were more reasonable than most other photographers. They took half a day to do our engagement pictures, and came up with a number of original shots. On our wedding day, they came several hours early to prepare and research the venue, and stayed through the end. Overall, they were very patient and easy to work with throughout the entire process, from planning engagement pictures, to editing the wedding album.

Julia & Kevin are AMAZING... We booked them for our engagement & wedding photos. They were very professional and fun to work with. I highly recommend this couple. I loved that Julia made me feel so comfortable... When choosing a photographer, I never took to mind the importance of gender but I loved that Julia was with me photographing the intimate pictures, while Kevin was with the groom. It worked perfect!!! Thank you Julia & Kevin for making our special day so memorable... We are forever grateful.

I booked them for our wedding and engagement photos. The engagement session was so easy, comfortable and enjoyable. They have been super professional and accommodating throughout this whole process.

Our engagement photos came out unbelievable! We were getting compliments left and right. We used the engagement photos throughout our wedding (slideshow, thank yous etc) and people kept saying how amazing the shots were. The photos were artistic and intimate. I will treasure them.

We Just had our wedding last weekend and Julia and Kevin were amazing! Not only were they super professional, they were a breeze to work with! I just saw a few of our wedding pictures and they look AMAZING! They look like paintings! I am so happy with the entire process! They made it so easy. Even happier how the pictures turned out!

Our wedding was 300 people in the middle of the heat wave. There was a lot of oppurtunity for things to go wrong but Julia and Kevin were soooo good and so helpful. They were encouraging and helpful.

Great people, amazing photographs and super accomodating. My friends and family already asked me for their information to do family photos.

I am so very glad I found Holding & Co. Photography and had them for my wedding! My pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous...even better than I could have imagined!! As a bride, I was so worried about capturing every special moment and having the day of my wedding run smoothly, this couple was so professional all day and caught the most memorable moments starting from everyone getting ready to the reception.

Very personal and friendly team. They were happy to accommodate to our needs, answered every email in less than a day, they worked efficiently and we felt super comfortable being photographed by them. At no point did we feel that anyone on their team was intrusive. They even followed us up a rocky cliff to take some awesome "first-look" photos. Seriously, these came out looking like a magazine shoot and neither my husband or I had anything to do with it. Thank you for all your hard work Julia and Kevin.

We took off 1/2 a star only because we waited for the photos for quite some time. In all fairness, Kevin and Julia forewarned us that it would take that long, but it's hard to explain the long wait to fam and friends who continually question the duration.
We were very happy with the photos once we did receive them. We've received soooo much positive feedback from our family and friends. They really captured some very special moments that we will look back at for many years to come. Overall, it was a positive experience. Holding and Co are highly recommended.
