Gerelyn was such a joy to work with. Her cheerful personality and good humor made our wedding day even more memorable. She not only works well with the bride and groom, she works well with family members and everyone around her.

It was wonderful to have Geralyn as our wedding photographer! From the moment we met her, we felt like she was a long-time friend. Geralyn is very caring and accommodating, and she understands that weddings can be stressful for the bride (and groom). She always made us feel comfortable during meetings and photo shoots, and her sense of humor helped us to relax and have FUN on our wedding day!

Our wedding party, family, friends, and guests have also mentioned to us that they enjoyed working with Geralyn and her assistants at the wedding. Geralyn was able to capture every special moment, and we love reliving our Day through the pictures she shot!

Geralyn of Hokuli'i Images was our photographer for our April 2010 wedding. Geralyn is very easy to work with, kind, fun and most of all takes awesome pictures. I remember meeting her for the first time at our first consultation and I said to myself, this gal is super cool and I can't wait for her to take our wedding pictures. We are so happy with how our wedding pictures turned out. I would definitely recommend Hokuli'i Images to anyone who's looking for a photographer not only for weddings but also for other occasions. To this day, Geralyn and I still keep in touch and I'm sure we'll be lifelong friends! Love you Geralyn!

Amazing! There are no words to describe how much we LOVE and appreciate Geralyn! She has an incredible gift and ability to caputure special moments - you can feel all the emotions in our photos, they are more than pictures. Beyond being an amazing photographer (you will not be disappointed, she will exceed all your expectations) she is such a great person to be around and get to know. We feel truly honored and blessed that Geralyn was brought into our lives to share/caputure/document our special day with us. She has become a great friend! She is so nice to be around, she has a great presence about her. Words can't describe it, you just have to meet her! Geralyn is by far the best photographer we have ever had the pleasure of working with. She has an amazing energy and spirit that radiates in everything she does. Her and her staff are so easy to work with and genuinely care about you and your vision. Her attention to detail and ability to make the experience fun and carefree set her apart from everyone else. You can tell from the very first time you meet her that she truly loves what she does and this compassion and love comes through in her photos.

She is a fantastic professional photographer!!! I still think that I was really lucky to find her as a photographer for my wedding. She didn't miss anything, she got everything what I wanted, and that was way better than I expected.

Geralyn is AWESOME! She truly has a passion for her work, and it shows in her creative style of pictures. She does a fantastic job capturing a couple's "essence" and love. She makes you feel very comfortable while shooting, and even makes it a very fun experience. She welcomes your input, while also infusing her own artistic style. My (now) husband and I wanted some shots a little outside of the box, and she took it and ran with it. My husband and I are thrilled with all of our pictures. Geralyn is a true professional who exudes both talent and a warm spirit!

Geralyn is exceptional. From the moment we met her, we absolutely loved her. She made us feel so at ease and comfortable; it was if we had known her for years. It was very important for us to work with someone with whom we felt at "home" with, someone who could capture our family in raw form - living & loving one another. Auntie G embraces the very essence of you & your ohana (family) where you can look your photos today, tomorrow, or years from now and feel all the same feelings you felt the day the photo was taken. A picture speaks a thousand words....but Geralyn's work leaves you absolutely speechless. Since our wedding, Geralyn continues to meet with us annually to update our album. With Geralyn, we are building our own treasure book, a priceless work of art that can never be replaced. We had a small beachfront wedding and were so glad to have found Geralyn with Hokulii Images. Because we wanted an intimate ceremony & reception (only 40 people!) it was important for us to find someone who would really blend in as one of the family. After interviewing several photographers, we were drawn to Geralyn's warm and bubbly personality. On the big day, she and her assistant were fantastic at keeping us on schedule and making sure everyone was having a good time during the shoots. We got all the shots we had hoped for - and more! We especially appreciated the fact that she, unlike many professional photographers, gave us the images on disc so we could do whatever we wanted/needed with them. It gave us so much flexibility in ordering prints and other items for ourselves and our family. In short: you can't go wrong choosing Geralyn as the photographer for your wedding or any event. Now that we have twin 1 year olds, we are even hiring her when we go back to Oahu so she can get some family portraits!

Hokuli'i (Geralyn) is the best photographer ever!! Our pictures were amazing, unique and captured our wedding so perfectly. Our friends and family (even the ones who didn't attend the celebration) had only the most positive complements on our collection posted on Pictage. Our family and wedding party (as well as ourselves) were beyond impressed with Geralyn's fantastic ability to make everyone feel at ease, work the crowd, and put a smile on everyone's face. The pictures weren't forced or cheesy, but really showed the true happiness of the day! We love Geralyn and Hokuli'i!!!

Geralyn is awesome! We live on the mainland, so the first time we met her was the day before the wedding (to do our engagement pics). We clicked with her right from the start and I felt like she was a friend I had known for years. Our pics turned out great and we received them just a few weeks after the wedding.

I LOVE that Geralyn gives you the pics on a CD - this allowed us to take our time deciding which pics we wanted to print, and I was also able to make picture books for ourselves as well as for each set of parents. One of my brothers paid a lot for his wedding photographer, but you know what? I like our pics better. I think I've only ever seen one of his wedding pics in his house. We have a whole bunch of our pics framed and hanging on our walls. Why pay all that money for pictures that you never look at?

My brother thinks Geralyn is awesome too. He used to be part owner of a restaurant that is a popular venue for weddings in Honolulu. When I told him I had picked Geralyn to do our wedding pictures, he told me out of all the photographers that shoot weddings at the restaurant, she was his favorite. Not too long ago, he even asked her photograph a big fundraising event he was holding at the restaurant.

Geralyn is a great photographer and probably the nicest, happiest, most positive person you'll ever meet. If you choose Geralyn/Hokuli'i Images as your photographer, you will not be disappointed!

Auntie G was my wedding photographer for my wedding back in 2006. Three years later and friends and family still talk about how awesome she was. How much fun she was, how great she was with the kids, and how she seemed to just know who everyone was, she was apart of the family from the moment she showed up.

She has a spirit of aloha that is contagious, which makes for amazing pictures!!! We LOVE LOVE LOVE our pictures from that special day. And I know for a fact that they would not have been as special or beautiful if anyone else but Geralyn took them.

When my best friend decided to get married in Hawaii as well this year, I knew, she HAD to have Geralyn for her special day. It didnt take much convincing, she was at my wedding and remembered her well. Like I said, 3 years later and people still talk about her.

No surprise, Auntie G showed up and everyone loved her instantly, she puts people at ease and gets the perfect shot everytime. The pictures from the wedding are AMAZING once again. To be able to have Geralyn photograph both our special days will always be a beautiful bond we share. To top it off Geralyn got some great pictures of our daughter, a full circle moment that we have on film and will always remember.

I could go on and on.....but when it comes down to it, if you want your pictures taken with the true spirit of Aloha, you know who to choose!!!!

Hokuli'i Images provided top quality service and photos that will be cherished for a lifetime. Photographer Geralyn Camarillo was very professional and added fun at the same time. Her energy was definitely a plus! She worked very well with the other vendors & was very organized before, during and after the event. Geralyn gets to know her client's as well as the family members and bridal party on a personal level so it was easier to work with everyone involved and gather everyone for photos. Overall, Hokuli'i Images was a top notch photography service and there's no doubt we wouldn't use them for other special photo events.

Geralyn is the energy you need behind the camera that will capture all the moments of your special day! When my husband and I got married, she was just as excited as we were! I'll never forget the first time I met her, as a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding, she bursted in early that morning raving about how it was the perfect day for shooting a wedding. Geralyn told all of us how the weather was cooperating and she had found the perfect spot and on and on...and her energy just spread to all of us! She made taking pictures so fun. I knew I wanted to have her for our wedding, too. And sure enough, when our big day came and we got out of the limo for some pre-wedding pictures, she met us with the same excitement and energy! She was also the only one who could make my husband smile! He has a great smile, but doesn't like to take pictures! Geralyn took care of that! She also captured moments at our wedding ceremony and reception that I missed and got shots of us when I didn't even know she was there. Geralyn doesn't walk, she runs. We are so happy with our photos. When planning our wedding, having a great photographer was at the top of our list. I knew I wanted memorable pictures that I could always look back on. Aloha,
Geralyn is an amazing photographer with a fantastic personality!! Not only will you love her but so will your family and friends. She is very personable and she has the touch of an angel!! Geralyn has a fantastic memory when she meets all of your friends and family. We were told that she was even introducing guests to each other while waiting for the ceremony to begin, which is just one more reason why she is the only photographer you should ever consider for your Hawaiian event!! We did an engagement session on the beach with our children the night before the wedding and it was such a great memory of the five of us together with Auntie G!! Our children have yet to stop talking about our special time together and how excited they are too see the pictures because it was SO much fun!! Geralyn has an amazing soul and is someone that you will be proud to call your friend. We recently received our wedding photos by e-mail and we look at them everyday. We still can't believe after 12 years we finally got married but we are so glad that we waited because we would not have met the best photographer in Oahu!! She captured every perfect moment during the ceremony and reception. We would have to say that every single picture taken on our wedding day is our favorite!! We have only been back home in Seattle for a month but we miss Hawaii and Geralyn a great deal!! The photography for our wedding was one of the most important elements to our special day next to the actual getting married part. It was important that we have someone that we felt like we had a connection with and would be able to capture all the memories of our big day. My sister in-law Dawn recommended Hokuli`i Images, photos by Geralyn Camarillo, and we can't thank her enough for her suggestion because it was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Geralyn is one of the most beautiful characters and individuals that I have ever met and she added to our special day so much. Not only is she brimming with lots of talent from her photography artistry but she works with people so well and makes everyone feel comfortable and happy. It was so easy to laugh and smile with her there and she gave wonderful direction. Even though Geralyn is as fun as can be, at the same time she exudes a lot of professionalism. Geralyn has a great assistant and who is also amazing and gave a lot support on the day of our wedding to both Geralyn and the bridal party. One of the things that stood out about Geralyn was that she remembered everyone's name, from bridesmaids to aunties and uncles. Geralyn is absolutely amazing! My husband and I actually saw some of her work when we were looking for possible ceremony and reception sites. Her work spoke to me so much that when I found out that she was completely booked during the entire month of June (which is when I initially wanted to get married), my husband and I changed the date in order to have her as our photographer; and we are so glad that we did. She is a pleasure to work with, and she makes everyone feel so comfortable. The pictures from both our engagement session and wedding are beautiful! Geralyn did a wonderful job, and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a down-to-earth, quality producing photographer.

Best Photog on the islands, and was just named on the "Honolulu Magazine's Best Of...." 2009 edition. Whew, got in before she got really expensive.

Geralyn Camarillo is simply the best photographer you could ever need for a wedding, or i'm sure any other event. Thanks to Geralyn i have a beautiful set of images from my wedding.

She was so good at remembering people in the wedding party, and getting everyone together for shots around the Moana Surfider. She's really funny and nice, so she'll roll with it if you have a fun wedding party.

Geralyn is wonderful. She is an all in one package. Prices are reasonable and her work is exceptional. She captured the day just as I remembered it. I was exstatic when I recieved the proof book. Her images brought back all of the feelings we had on our wedding day. Thats what the pictures are supposed to do. If your photographer can't capture everything about how the day felt.. then move on.

I cannot think of anything but POSITIVE POSITIVE POSITIVE things to say about Geralyn. She was professional, timely, fun, positive and caring. I loved how "kind" she was to our family and friends. I loved how "loving" she was to our feisty ring bearers and how "patient" with our entire wedding party.

Mike and I are very easy going people. We wanted this wedding to be fun, full of love, we didnt want it stressful or crazy and mostly we wanted to enjoy the time with friends and family. Geralyn was a perfect fit to this event!

If you are looking for someone to capture the "life" and the "love" of your wedding or pictures that really tell a story then you should go with Hokuli'i Images. Even my mom loves Geralyn and she is one tough cookie to please!

As soon as we met with Geralyn we knew that she was a keeper. With so many choices of photographers out there; she was a person that we connected with the most. With her high level of energy, her warm hearted personality she captured a lifetime of our memories. Despite, what we had to go through from getting a permit to shoot on location, she was so patient and helpful in doing that. Geralyn was so easy to get along with through out the whole process. On our wedding day, we could see that she was energized and ready to capture every moment. What made it more exciting was that our wedding photos was ready to be picked up in less than a week. Geralyn is so easy to work with. She was very helpful pre-wedding, always returns emails and calls promply. She is fun and very enthusiastic about her work. As soon as we met Geralyn, we both knew that she would be our photographer! Geralyn is such a warm-hearted person and the Aloha spirit just permeates in her. She was so much fun to work with! On our wedding day, she was so excited for us and made the photo sessions so much fun for us and our families. We love how the photos captured the feeling of our wedding day!

The quality of Hokuli'i Images wedding photography is exceptional! Geralyn is very easy to work with and most importantly she established a great rapport with my mom, husband and myself. We booked Hokuli`i Images at a bridal expo. there were so many other evndors there, but somehow we were drawn to this booth. The photo books that we previewed captured the very essence of those in the photos and made me feel like I knew the people that Geralyn had photographed. She was able to do the same for our wedding. Planning the photography aspect of our wedding was not int he least bit stressful. Geralyn's positive attitutde shines through her entire being and is immediately transferred onto her clients.
We appreciate the fact that Geralyn is locally born and raised because she truly holds the Aloha spirit in her heart, and that is why my husband was able to smile in ALL of our photos on our wedding day.
We also appreciate that we are able to hold the rights to our photographs. This aspect of Hokulli`i Images alone makes the services provided a great value. Even though we are able to do what we please with our pictures, our respect for Geralyn grows even more because she cares about the final product enout to recommend a photo lab that will do her photos justice at a reasonable cost.
The only qualm that we had was that there were some where it was extremely difficult to get ahold of Geralyn. At one point an e-mail and phon ecalls went unanswered for two months, and that affected the planning of another aspect of our wedding. We were able to look past this because we know that Hokuli`i Images is one of the most recommended photography businesses in Hawai`i and that we would be getting outstanding services.

Very fun and easy to work with. Photographs came out beautifully! We called on Geralyn to do our family photos a few years later and are again very happy with the pictures.
