The Hoffman House was amazing!! They catered our wedding last month & we couldn’t have been happier with their service. With our wedding changes due to COVID, we only booked Hoffman House 3.5 weeks before our wedding… in that short amount of time they were so helpful during the planning process! Julie was so responsive and patient with all of our menu choices & changes. The menu was so hard to pick from as they have such fun & yummy choices. The day of, LaVita and the Hoffman team were wonderful & friendly. LaVita was more than just the onsite supervisor, she was constantly making sure my husband & I were okay & taken care of. She was so sweet & we loved her! The whole team made our guests feel very safe (due to COVID) with the food during dinner. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the food was soooo delicious!!! Everything was perfectly cooked & served hot. We received so many compliments from our guests on appetizers, dinner, the dessert table & our late night snacks. We highly recommend them :) -

We have nothing but fantastic things to say about Hoffman House!! We hired them as our catering vendor for our wedding in August and everything about working with them was a dream. They were very generous at our tasting; only my husband could go and he was able to bring the leftovers home for me to try and let me tell you… they sold me on the leftovers!! Everything tasted phenomenal, even not being fresh from the kitchen! Then as we approached the wedding day, Kayla was incredible to work with. She was very patient and flexible as we made last minute changes to the head count and other details. She also was extremely responsive throughout the whole process. The day-of was completely seamless. The buffet set-up was very professional looking, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was DELICIOUS. The catering was BY FAR the thing that guests complimented the most. Lastly, the value for the money was completely worth it, the prices were very reasonable! Overall, could not recommend Hoffman House more!! -

It was at a reasonable and affordable price and they work with you. They made it the best time of my life and the food was phenomenal. The staff was the best that any bride could ever ask for. My favorite staff members were I think her name was Quita. I’m not sure I was drunk(amazing drinks may I add). She was amazing, she had the blonde dreads I know that for sure lol . I loved her just the best and Michael was amazing too!!!! -

Hoffman House is an excellent venue for both your wedding and reception. The food is excellent (which is not always the case for banquet food) and the atmosphere/service is top notch. -

I'm not sure that I will be able to articulately describe what a great vendor Hoffman House was! From the moment we reached out to them, to the original tour, to the tasting that included our parents, to the rescheduling 3 different times to COVID, to the actual catering of our wedding night, we could not have made a better decision! Julie was amazing to work with from the very beginning. She is very personable and wants to make sure that everything is perfect for your special day! Even when COVID first broke out and everything in IL was still so unsure, she would reach out and let us know HH was there for us and would work with us in any manner possible. Their onsite venue is beautiful and we loved the new chandeliers and chairs they got! Unfortunately due to COVID we had to change the venue and amount of people, but Julie and team were eager to meet any needs we had to still make sure our day went without a hitch. The onsite team arrived in time, were VERY professional the entire time, helped with things that we didn't even ask (helped move chairs from one location to another, helped bring the desserts to the reception tent from the house, and helped hide my husband and I right before the grand march!). Livetta, the onsite supervisor, was amazing to work with! Or should I say not work with! She knew from the very beginning to find our parents and ask them any questions, she told my mom that the brides already have enough to deal with on their special day and shouldn't be bogged down with any catering questions! How amazing is that!? Literally the entire team was a joy to work with and was more then we could have ever hoped for for our special day. We can't wait to continue supporting Hoffman House for our new date nights! Thank you so much Hoffman House! -

This was only my 2nd experience ever using a caterer and we could not have been more pleased. The attention to detail, constant guidance months beforehand to the incredible service the day of our event was unparalleled! Staff was incredibly professional! Our head server walked in and took charge of every fine detail! She kept the event in track and thought if things that fell through the cracks. The food from appetizers through meal was beyond delicious! Perfectly cooked - served 165 hot meals quickly and efficiently and had enough for seconds. We will only be using Hoffman House for any future needs!! HIGHLY recommend!!! -

Brittany Sent on 05/28/2014Great to work with, nice and professional staff, willing to work with you on details. Better pricing than we expected! Great food! Infact we got compliments on the food! Get the chocolate filled cookies they make, yum! They cut up our rice krispie treat cake no problem!! Although, I wish they let you keep the leftover food and wine, we did however get to keep the rest of our cookies. We would use them again for sure!!!
