Exceptional

It was literally a seamless experience. My day was perfect. They set up and you show up, you leave and they tear down. They had thought of every detail and made sure my day was exactly as I wanted it to be. Communication is exceptional! The venue is beautiful and my guests loved the whole experience. I would highly recommend this venue! Flowers, decor, food, venue, music, you name it…they cover it or direct you to it. They literally plated my food for me so I wouldn’t get it on my dress. It was literally all I could ask for! ❤️

Amazing & beyond worth it

We couldn’t have picked a better place! The staff were so friendly, accommodating and did an excellent job getting everything ready for us! All we had to do was show up! The decorations were beautiful, the wedding coordinator was exceptional and the owners were so nice. We cannot wait to go back for our anniversary!

A unforgetbale and romantic wedding

We would definitely recommend it to any couple considering a UNFORGETBALE and ROMANTIC wedding. The whole ceremony is very well-organized and truly stress-free.
Initially, we planned to have our wedding in the city hall, but we could not make an appointment until March 2021. So, we started to find an alternative place. We spent 1 week searching the wedding chapel in the Columbus area, but we could not find a satisfactory place. Then, we enlarged the searching area. Luckily, we find Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel! After an initial phone call with them, we decided to have our special day there and we selected the Just for Two Package. That decision-making day is the last day of 2020, and we have our wedding on January 16, 2021!
We are very impressed and grateful for the planning and organization of the ceremony under such a tight time. Special thanks to Stacie, our wedding planner, you did a fabulous job! The communications with Stacie were going very well. All the essential things are paid attention to the details, which makes us feel truly stress-free. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Matt, our officiant, who helped a lot to customize our ceremony and make our ceremony so romantic! We are deeply appreciated for the professionalism of our photographer. She suggested us a lot on how to take pretty photos. The outcome is what we dreamed of!
After we share our wedding recording with our family and friends, they were amazed and said it may be the best wedding they have seen! Thanks again Stacie and the Valley View team, you have helped to make our special day unforgettable!

Perfect venue

Like many other couples our early 2020 wedding plans were put on hold. How lucky we were to find Valley View Cabins, Hocking Hills wedding Chapel!
Stacie and her team were prompt in all communication and made us feel so special on our wedding day. Planning was a breeze with cake, dinner, minister, photographer Etc handled by Stacie.
The options at the Chapel area were wonderful and eliminated the worry over weather

Amazing Experience!

Huge thank you to Stacie and the whole Valley View team for an amazing experience here for our wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend to any considering a wedding in the southern Ohio area. The level of detail and organization they provided on our special day would be very hard to beat elsewhere combined with an absolutely beautiful venue on top of that! Thanks again for everything!

Phenomenal!!!

We had our wedding and reception dinner here and it could not have been more perfect!!! Every detail was met and the staff is exceedingly polite, respectful, knowledgeable and resourceful. We honeymooned at one of the cabins and it was the exact relaxation we needed with amenities and privacy. Everything was clean and the setting was breath taking, while close to activities! We'll definitely be back.

Perfect, Simple Outdoor Wedding

We got married here on May 16th. We got lucky and the weather was perfect! The chapel looked beautiful. Everything was green and it looked just how I wanted it to look. We were supposed to get married there on April 10, but the virus restrictions forced us to reschedule. The staff at Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel was very helpful and flexible, and we chose to reschedule for just a little over a month later, hoping restrictions would be lifted by then. Even though it was not completely back to normal by then, we were still able to hold our small wedding and reception safely. We were very, very pleased with everything. And our honeymoon cabin that came as part of our wedding package was amazing and relaxing!

Beautiful Venue

Our wedding was cancelled due to COVID-19. We decided to just elope and make a weekend of it. The pictures of the venue do not do it justice, it was breathtaking. The staff was so kind and accommodating. I wish we had planned our original wedding here.

Loved by the whole family!

Just an absolutely beautiful place to get married, was perfect for what we were looking for. Our whole family was able to enjoy the weekend in the Sunrise Retreat and we couldn't have asked for anything more-thank you!

Stress Free!

Our venue was perfect.We had 3 locations to choose from at Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel.They have several packages to choose from that can include photographer and DJ. The whole day was well executed and our guests couldn't stop complimenting us on our venue choice. The food was awesome too!

Amazing experience!

My daughter's wedding was held at Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel on 05/04/2019. This is the first time we have had to plan a wedding. Karen & her staff were just amazing. This venue is absolutely stunning. They were very flexible as it rained the day of the wedding but everything was still so gorgeous & breath taking. It was an all inclusive package that we selected & it was very reasonably priced. I couldn't have asked for more. The staff the day of the wedding were very professional, helpful & just awesome. Such a wonderful experience during a stressful time. Thanks to Karen & all of her staff for making Andrea & Kevin's wedding simply "THE BEST DAY EVER" I would recommend them to everyone.

My husband and I got married at the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel on 09/29/2018. It was an absolutely beautiful stress free day. They offer packages that make planning a wedding so easy! Karen and her staff were great and responded quickly to my emails. They were even able to give me the names of local hair and makeup artists to come right to my cabin the morning of the wedding. It was everything I wanted! I had not seen the venue prior as I live over 3 hours away. Don’t let that stop you, you won’t be disappointed!

The Hocking Hills Wedding chapel is incredible! The catered food was close to the best that we have had at a catered event. The venue is picturesque! Our wedding was in late August. There were ferns, manicured colorful flower beds and the quaint pond and waterfall, the pictures are going to be amazing. The staff is amazing! They kept the schedule and kept everything moving and my husband and I did not have to want for anything. The cabins are an added bonus. My family, all from out of Ohio, got to spend the weekend enjoying the scenery and enjoying each other companies in cabins that had all the amenities of home. The weather was touch and go and Karen and her team had worked out a rain plan just in case. We did not need it but they would have handled if we did! All the vendors from flowers to photography were prefect. They work so well together that everything goes so smoothly! The Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel is everything that a bride would want for a wedding with around 55 guests.

Karen accommodated and worked with us in every detail of the wedding. It was going to rain and they made sure to Have everything planned accordingly and quickly moved everything to where we could have an outside wedding. Every staff member was flexible and accommodating.

I tweaked and personalized almost everything in my wedding package. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. During the ceremony Karen especially was extremely helpful and made things go so smoothly, very professional. Even my guests noticed and appreciated her. If I could go back and redo the entire thing, I would still book Valley View. It was the best experience and I'm so happy with how everything went. It was beautiful.

It was such a beautiful place. We received so many comments from our guests on our wedding and the location. The scenery was beautiful, and Karen and her staff were tops in what they do. It was so nice not to have to stress over the things that Karen and her staff do all the time. They know what they are doing, and have it down to a science. Thank you for making our day so wonderful.

Karen and her staff were so amazing and accommodating, we were apprehensive about a January wedding, but we had waited long enough to be married, a Karen worked hard to ease our concerns. For us the cost vs. what we received was priceless- preacher, photographer (she was awesome), catered feast (which was first rate quality), adjusting to last minute changes for us, absolutely beautiful venue. If you are looking for a package deal, to be treated like royalty, a staff that will do everything to make your special day as special as it can be, not to mention the beautiful setting and all the accommodations, you cannot find a better deal. 5 star service with a smile!!!!

Karen, Jess and Holly were simply amazing! This was the wedding that we dreamed of and they made it all happen...seamlessly. They were absolutely wonderful in putting together exactly what we wanted. This place is beautiful but they, as professionals and courteous people, made it PERFECT! They literally arranged everything! We loved the minister, photographer, catering and they, as a team, were beyond fabulous! We couldn't have asked for anything more....We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful place for the perfect wedding, no matter what month you choose! Thank you Karen, Holly, and Jess! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! We will be back to stay there again!

Wedding planning is difficult but I had very little stress in planning and on the wedding day everything went smoothly thanks to Karen and her amazing team. The venue is beautiful and the cabins we rented were very clean and organized. We had a great time and highly recommend looking into what they have to offer.

I can't say enough about the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel.. They made my special day even better by accommodating my whole family, catering to my every need, and remaining professional throughout the whole process. From the cake that I cant stop eating, to the photographer that held my hand while i was putting my dress on, all the way to the DJ that played all of my brothers songs. They have an extremely talented team of people! I would suggest this location to any future Bride.

Getting married here was a dream come true, it is absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have asked for anything more. Karen and her staff were so helpful with everything from decorating to asking me what was wrong when I seemed upset. They make you feel like family! Michelle the photographer was amazing as well she's so sweet and so much fun! Matt the pastor is great as well! Everyone is just beyond amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! If you want a perfect wedding with people that make you feel like family then this is the place to go! Whether you decorate or not it's absolutely beautiful! I can't thank everyone enough for making me feel like a princess on this most important day of my life so far! My wedding day was wonderful and every detail was perfect. The team made my wedding day stress free and I was able to enjoy my special day with my husband. The venue is gorgeously landscaped and beautiful on its own with minimal to no decorations

We had the perfect day and Wedding with Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel. They are so responsive and professional. This is the way to go if you want stress free wedding planning and wedding day. Karen and Amanda go above and beyond to make your wedding day special. Amanda stayed by my side from beginning to end to ensure I was ready, knew where to go and had everything I needed, including special words of encouragement and hands to help up the stairs in my white dress. I absolutely loved the flowers and cake, every detail was perfect. The food was good, even though it wasn't what we tasted or expected. Matt performed such an amazing ceremony and was so kinda to us both. All of our guests had an amazing time and commented on the beautiful evening and setting. Thanks Karen, Eric and Amanda!!

They made our wedding day absolutely wonderful! The friendliness of the staff, the beautiful decor, delicious food (that we are still getting compliments on).. My cake and flowers were exactly what I wanted! The cabins were so cozy and pretty! We couldn't have asked for a better day. I would recommend Hocking Hills any day for a wedding, or just a wonderful place to get away and relax! Also, the photographer, Michelle, was such a delight she made everything so fun!!

Valley View is a beautiful and enchanting wedding venue. The grounds are well kept and the trees surrounding the place make it feel very private. They offer flexible packages that take all the stress out of planning a wedding. Karen, The owner is an excellent wedding coordinator and really went the extra mile to make sure every last detail was correct. The photographer Michelle is very personable and I can’t wait to see how the photos turn out. The food was delicious. We recommend the mac & cheese, which has a little kick to it. We selected the Bride’s Dream package and the only vendor included in the package that we did not use was the baker. Valley View was extremely flexible and accommodating to our preferring an outside vendor.

All of the cabins were cozy, comfortable and clean. They were well stocked with all of the essential items you would need. Since there was a 2 night minimum stay, we decided to have a pre-wedding celebration the night before at Rockside Winery located 20 mins from this venue. Since the cabins were so close the State Park, several of our guests were able to do some hiking in the morning before our early evening wedding, so we were able make this a wedding get-a-way for all our guests!

If you are looking for a place to get your hair done, I recommend an Aveda salon, Nu-U Salon & Spa located in Lancaster. We got the whole place to ourselves and they allow food & spirits. Then for brunch we went around the corner to Four Reasons deli before heading back to Valley View.

Valley view cabins at hocking hills was the perfect place for our wedding. Our families stayed the whole weekend! The team was amazing! We went with a package deal-We didn't worry about a single detail! Before the wedding the vendors all came at once, so decisions were easy. Would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

The Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel was the absolute best place to get married! The site is gorgeous. Having all vendors taken care of for me made planning my dream wedding a breeze. I recommend using all of their services they provide including lodging, etc. It's easier for accommodation and they have great customer service. They were very accommodating with our rare situation/ challenges we encountered. They helped us so much when we were having trouble with a local restaurant in the area. They called one of the well-known restaurants and made reservations for us. Look for gracie when you're there! She's a gem! Ruff Ruff!

Our wedding went really smooth. Karen was easy to work with and always quick to respond to any questions. Only a few things I would of done different for anyone who is getting married is spe.d money on getting lot of pictures. Wish we could of had a rehearsal the day prior since we were all down there before the day of our wedding. Tend to be a rush at the very moment before walking down with my dad and forgot my flowers. The lady who was going to take my wedding photos cancelled the day prior due to family emergency and I do understand and had this other guy do them without seeing his work. That was a little stressful there was a few photos I didn't care to get but overall ok considering things do happen. My family loved where we had our wedding it was very interment, rustic, and beautiful. Everyone absolutely loved it. The food was amazing. It turned out to be a time you wish you could turn back the clock and go back to and take it all in over again! It's a beautiful place for a wedding. Wouldn't change it for the world! It fit us perfectly.

Everything was wonderful, from beginning to end..
Such a beautiful place, I couldn't have asked for better! Karen and her staff did an amazing job with my wedding, even when everything was thrown at her last minute!! The day of the event everything fell into place and everyone had an amazing time.

We loved Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel! Everything was beautiful and the staff was very professional and caring. I loved how they all worked together as a team to coordinate times - this really helped on such a stressful day! They ensured our special day was perfect. I couldn't have picked a better location for the special day and honeymoon. I didn't have to sacrifice anything I wanted. The flowers were perfect and the photographer was amazing. The minister was spot on with bring us together as husband and wife. The cabins and location was secluded but not to far away for fun. Our experience was wonderful. The venue took care of every last detail, including flowers, photography, catering, the cake, the music, the minister, and even set me up with a stylist who came to my cabin to do my hair on the big day. Because I didn't have to worry about a single detail, the months counting up to the big day were completely stress free. People who came to the wedding said it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. We are so happy with Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel. I highly recommend them to anyone getting married.

Karen and her staff at the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel made my wedding day one for the books! The venue is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the cupcakes were just as great! My guests loved everything about this place, and most made a 3 hour drive for the ceremony and reception, then another 3 hours back home with no complaints. The details are worked out for you and there is a lot of flexibility to add your own touch on things, which takes away a lot of stress to wedding planning. The packages offered are fit for any budget. I would absolutely recommend the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel to any couple looking for a unique wedding with minimal stress!

Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel is a beautiful location for a wedding. We got married in late August and the scenery was gorgeous. The staff were amazing, friendly, and able to ensure my wedding day was absolutely perfect. Karen and her family were able to provide everything I requested to make our wedding exactly how we wanted it. They went out of their way so that we enjoyed everything about this day. All of our friends and family were very impressed with Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel. We had both engagement photos and wedding photos taken onsite by their photographer Michelle Jefferies, who was wonderful. She captured amazing photos and made the whole process memorable. I would recommend Michelle to anyone wanting to capture beautiful memories. I truly felt as if everything went perfectly on this day and would highly recommend this venue to everyone!

We chose Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel for its beauty and natural setting. It was the perfect venue for our rehearsal and wedding. All of our guests (55 people) stayed both Friday and Saturday at Valley View Cabins, allowing them to relax and have a fun weekend getaway. For our wedding, we wanted an intimate setting the reflected our personalities. Hocking Hills wedding chapel, all made of logs, set in the woods, really natural. Perfect for us and the sweet little ceremony we had in mind. Karen and Kallista handled everything. We brought the unity candle and the music CD we wanted. Our wedding was perfect. Karen was so helpful, and was willing to work with us on all the details. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful, virtually stress free wedding. We will be back!!

My Husband and I planned an "elopement" here and it was awesome. The location is seriously gorgeous (and I'm a picky person) the cabins are fully stocked and super cozy. It was exactly what we wanted! Romantic, low key, and beautiful! The photos that I've seen so far from the photographer are perfect, we will be back for every anniversary!

Our wedding was more perfect than we could possibly have imagined it to be. Every detail was planned for us, and beautifully so. We didn't worry about one thing except enjoying our special day. Our wedding was elegant, and intimate, just the way we wanted it. Having our wedding planned for us by the Hocking Hills Wedding Chapel was absolutely worth every penny and then some. We couldn't have been happier with our whole experience there.

Our wedding experience was exceptional. Karen and her team did a great job in making sure that every detail was just as we wanted it. The venue is beautiful and with the package we chose we had no need to worry about outside vendors. The food, cake, flowers, and minister were all beyond our expectations. We really enjoyed the beautiful venue, and appreciated the customized wedding package the director provided. Landscaping is beautiful, setting is very peaceful (even remote, some of our guests were worried about finding the chapel but all was fine), and the servers really do try to accommodate each couple's needs.

We couldn't have asked for a better day. Karen was fantastic! So was our photographer, Michelle and minister, Matt. Living about 3 hours away from Hocking Hills Karen, Matt and Michelle made everything so easy on us. The grounds are just gorgeous, the perfect backdrop for pictures. We stayed in the Kennedy cabin for our honeymoon. It was lovely and so relaxing. Highly recommend.

We greatly appreciated the coordination of the wedding and the vendors were excellent. Being busy working professionals from Columbus this took the stress out of the wedding planning. The minister was very congenial and easy to work with. The staff at the cabins were very attentive and provided high quality service. The venue was beautifully landscaped. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, gazebo, garden walkways, and chapel. The staff worked closely with us on our vision for what we wanted the wedding to be and the day was exactly how we wanted it.
