Heather is awesome!
Heather created the invitations, programs, seating chart, and signature drink signs for my wedding. The invitations were beautiful, and she personalized them to feature our wedding venue. All of the paper elements she created fit in perfectly with the rest of our decorations. My husband even said the seating chart was his favorite part of the décor! Heather was quick to respond to emails and very easy to work with. I highly recommend using her for high quality, personalized wedding details.

Beautiful products and excellent prices!
My husband and I used HLR Designs for our wedding invitations and for signs at our wedding and we could not have been happier! Heather was absolutely wonderful to work with, all of her products were beyond gorgeous, and her prices were better than all the competition! We would highly recommend her to anyone with any printing needs! -

Heather created the perfect invitations for our OBX wedding. She even mailed them for us!! It was so nice not having to address and mail invitations. Her work is incredible! Our invitations were simply beautiful. Exactly what I wanted! -

If you are looking for an awesome person to do your invitations or any other personalized paper item, HLR Designs is who you need to pick. Heather was fantastic to work with and very patient. All I had to do was email her with what I wanted to change or add and she sent back the changes. She made my invitations, table seating, and the programs. Everything about the work was amazing and exactly what I wanted.-

Words can't describe how amazing Heather is. She did my GORGEOUS invitations, all my signage and was my day of coordinator. I could not have had the amazing day that I did without her. Heather was extremely organized, patient (I changed my mind a few times. It's a bride thing!) funny, kind and wonderful to work with. I was able to fully enjoy my wedding day knowing she was there. We met Heather at the 2017 OBX Wedding Expo and we are so glad we did! The wedding venue was Jennette's Pier in Nags Head and she had a picture of the pier that was the graphic for the invitation...a great unique feature. Heather made suggestions for packaging the wedding invitaions and RSVPs to match our Carolina Coastal theme, provided the proofs to us electronically (since we were doing this as a destination wedding and live out of state) and had them printed and delivered ahead of time. Many of our guests contacted us to tell us that they had recieved their invitaion packets and wanted to tell us how beautiful they were. The whole process was incredibly simple and stress free. Heather is amazing to work with, so helpful and friendly, and the product quality was excellent! Many thanks to Heather and HLR Designs.

Heather is amazing to work with. I was introduced to her when I was in a friends wedding. Her invitations and all the accompanied pieces are beyond gorgeous.
I used her as my planner and I can't imagine how I would have managed without Heather as my Day of Coordinator. She was quick to respond and was open to all ideas and helped put together the vision I had beautifully. -

Heather was fantastic. I was hesitant to have an invitation designer because I figured I didn't need the extra expense versus designing our invitations myself via Wedding Paper Divas or Paperless Post but booking Heather was such a good move. She did beautiful invitations for us and it was totally worth it so my time could be spent focusing on other things. She addressed, stamped and mailed all of our invitations exactly according to our deadline. Heather was so good we decided to also have her do our table number and escort cards, which was also totally worth it. It was just one less thing to worry about in the hectic weeks leading up to the wedding, and everything matched perfectly. I highly recommend Heather. -

Heather was great to work with! She designed our invitations and programs for the wedding. The invitations were so pretty and featured a sketch of our wedding venue (Jennette's Pier). She also designed a map insert and RSVP card that fit in with our aqua, coral, and peaches theme. We loved the programs - which were made into fans. She customized everything to fit our theme! She even added a basset hound on the program to match ours in the ceremony! Heather was also very responsive over email and would send me edits within minutes! She also assembled and addressed all the invitations, which was wonderful to not have to worry about doing that myself. I would highly recommend Heather! -

Heather is amazing! I had noticed her work at the Expo and knew we had to use her. We had her create our invitations and they came out so beautiful! I can't even tell you how many people said they loved them. :) She was so easy to work with and so accommodating. I probably drove her nuts with all my changes, but she was a trooper and was always quick to make the changes. She also made great suggestions when I needed help. She also did our escort sign and programs, which I absolutely loved! They came out perfect and I had many people commented on how cool the ideas were. I will definitely be using Heather again in the future! She rocks! -

Heather is absolutely the best. Our invitations were exactly what we wanted. She does amazing work with any Outer Banks brides, or any bride, from anywhere for that matter. She was very prompt in her responses to any questions or changes during the process to create our unique invitations that encompassed the Outer Banks like we hoped. We had an idea and a vision and Heather was able to create it on paper perfectly! We are now starting to work with her on our wedding programs and after seeing how well our invites came out, I am so exited to work with her on the programs. -

Heather helped us create the most incredible save the dates and gorgeous invitations! For our save the date, she did an amazing job of incorporating all of the elements we discussed into the perfect finished product that was exactly what we wanted. We had a different and more simple idea for the invitations and Heather was able to deliver exactly what we wanted again. We had planned to do some additional printing and assembly ourselves, but Heather was so easy to work with and her pricing is so reasonable that we opted to have her help with a few additional products. Heather is amazing and we are so happy the way everything came out! -

Heather was amazing to work with (kept me on track despite myself), got the invitations out within a week of the order. She has an eye for style and original designs. I'd recommend her to anyone, especially anyone getting married near the Outer Banks. She did both my save the dates and invitations. We had Heather at HLR Designs create several things for us: Save the Dates, Invitations, Thank You Cards, Programs and Guest Bag Inserts. Everything she made was absolutely beautiful! The best thing about working with Heather (besides the beautiful work she does) was how easy going and flexible she was. She was so prompt with all of our e-mail correspondences and would change a font style or background color 20 times for me until it looked just perfect - and did they ever turn out perfect! Several of our guests said the invitations they received were the prettiest they have ever seen and plan on keeping them as something to remember our wedding by. I can never thank you enough Heather for all of your hard work in making our special day that much more beautiful! -

She is amazing! The best at what she does, no doubt. I rambled out about 100 ideas I had about my save the dates, not even knowing I was making any sense. And the very next day she sent me a sketch she had made up on adobe illustrator. And somehow she got the exact vision I had and nailed it! Very professional, helpful, and friendly! I cannot wait to work with her to get my actual invitations out! -

I absoulty love these invitations. They had a special touch to it since we were getting married at the kitty hawk pier and she had a design for it. Everybody thought they were so cute. Thank you so much for everything and i will highly reccomend her in the future to anybody that wants to get invitations done. I have to say it was nice to have one less thing on my plate. I am super excited to see how the programs will turn out. -

Wow, I can't brag about Heather enough! I initially found her on Instagram, which seemed crazy, but the photos of her work were amazing. She did our invitations, programs, escort cards, and table numbers. After several weeks of working with her and constantly being impressed with her responsiveness, professionalism, creativity, and true passion for her work, we ended up asking her to be our Wedding Coordinator. She was fabulous at that too! Our wedding was beautiful and perfect, in large part thanks to Heather and her incredible efforts. I was not the easiest bride, as I had very high expectations of every aspect of our wedding and wouldn't settle for less. She took my vision and made it ten times better. I can't recommend her enough! If you want perfection, call Heather and HLR Designs. -

HLR (Heather) did our OBX stickers that we put on the cookie boxes for our wedding. The stickers were perfect and whens we asked for a last minute change it was done with no problem! Also, Heather did our table numbers (she did them the night before for us because she knew they would work better than what we had) and they were perfect! The quality and price were right and on the mark. The stickers and the table numbers added so much to the room and our gifts and we can thank Heather for that! HLR is awesome! -

Heather did such an awesome job designing my daughter's first birthday party invites. I quickly gave Heather a few ideas that I had running in my head and she executed the perfect invite. My partner and I got married on Nov. 2nd in the Outer Banks and Heather designed our invitations, escort cards, table numbers, and signs for the sweetheart table. I can't recommend her highly enough. She was a pleasure to work with and everything turned out beautifully. When we first started thinking about invitations, we liked the idea of using a vintage map and loved the idea of using a map of the outer banks but didn't think we would be able to afford custom made invitations. But Heather was able to design a beautiful invitation that actually fit within our budget. We received a number of compliments on our invitations. The table numbers and escort cards were beautiful as well. Heather went out of her way to find the vintage maps and photos we wanted to incorporate and we couldn't have been happier with the final products! -

Heather designed our Wedding invitations and they were the most beautiful invitations I have ever seen! After searching the country (literally) for the perfect invitation I received a referral and called Heather. After speaking with Heather, she sent me a proof of an idea for our invitation. It was the invitation I had dreamed of but could not find anywhere. Heather's creativity and ability to read your mind is unbelievable. The invitations were completed, labeled and sent (all done by Heather) in no time at all. Heather will be creating all my invitations in future. I can't wait for more celebrations and more invitations!

Everyone loved our invitations and programs! Many people contacted us strictly to comment on how beautiful and well done our invitations were. One friend asked for Heather's name specifically for her ideas on their wedding invitation. Heather was open to suggestions and would use her creativeness to make the perfect and personal invitation. She was very prompt with every request and email. Overall, we were very satisfied with her performance. -

As a Wedding Photographer, I get the opportunity to work with wedding vendors of all types on a weekly basis. And, I must give Heather with HLR designs the highest approval in all areas of rating.
My husband and I decided on a VERY last minute wedding that went from a small, family-only wedding to a 300+ invitation list very quickly. Knowing much about the wedding world in the OBX, I had planned on doing all of the wedding myself. But became quickly overwhelmed by the large number of guests and growing to-do list. I frantically contacted Heather to help me with wedding invitations, fully assuming that she would be knee-deep into wedding season like the rest of us and unable to help on such short notice.
Part of my assumption was correct. She WAS knee-deep into wedding season. However, although crazy busy, Heather found the time to create perfect and beautiful wedding invitations, have them printed, AND delivered within a very tight timeframe.
The invitations exceeded my expectations in their appearance and quality. And, our guests have continued to speak to the uniqueness and beauty of the invitation itself. But more importantly than that, was the timely effort and care that went into Heather's communication and desired outcome of the product she was designing for us. Her interaction was personal, timely, and dedicated to our goals. Heather easily lowered my stress level tremendously by her professionalism and care of work.
I have had the opportunity to work with Heather regarding joint bride/groom clients. And would have recommended HLR Designs based on their reviews. But, my personal experience puts her leagues above any alternative. I would recommend Heather and her work to anyone for any event.

Heather was great to work with! Our invitations were so beautiful and we got soo many compliments on them! She also designed directional signs for the wedding an reception and mr. And mrs seat decorations. These were beautiful as well. Even late in the game she was willing to add items and design things for us that I dreamed up. We were very happy with her work! We would definitely recommend Heather to anyone we know who is getting married! -

Heather was great to work with from the moment we met her at the Wedding Expo in January 2013. With our tight budget we never thought that we would be able to afford custom invitations. We thought that we would have to settle on something. Instead we spoke with Heather, talked about our colors, theme, and location and sent her some pics for inspiration. We could believe how great they looked once we received the proofs. They were fun and bright and all of our guests commented on how much they liked the invites and the RSVP cards. The print quality is outstanding and Heather was very accommodating. I just ordered our Thank You notes from her and we will be sure to keep her in mind for future events! -

Heather was so easy going and helpful. I loved working with her! She's so dedicated that she even met with us on Easter Sunday when she was ill because that's when we were in town. She came up with the most unique design for our invitations that I could not love more. Everyone that has received one cannot stop talking about them. Heather gave us a one of a kind design that fit our personalities and helped set the tone for our wedding. -

I knew I HAD to have my invitations through Heather Rollins the second I saw her booth at a wedding expo in January 2012 and laid eyes on the perfect and only invitation for my wedding. As a destination wedding, I wanted the invitation to exude the look and feel of my OBX wedding in Corolla and HLR Designs does just that. When I saw Heather's design of the Lighthouse and horses with the dunes in the background in the pocket and folder invitation style I wanted, my search for an invitation vendor ended. Heather was so pleasant, patient, responsive. I knew I must have been driving her crazy as a frazzled bride with last minute changes and additions but Heather was gracious and poised as ever, keeping me calm and on-track with the timeline. She even helped with my save-the-dates that I was trying to DYI. Heather presented the perfect solutions for my budget and to my amazement, came up with the perfect accent designs, map of my wedding events (which were very detailed and must have taken a tremendous amount of time), and response cards, all in the colors, texture and paper styles I wanted at reasonable costs. I am so proud of my invitations that I have them framed and hanging. I couldn't be more pleased by my experience with HLR Designs and enthusiastically recommend Heather Rollins to everyone. -

David and I wanted unique invitations that reflected who we are and our style. Heather was incredibly responsive to our every request. She is very creative and made us the most perfect invites! She was always quick to communicate with us, very professional, and right on schedule! Her prices were more than reasonable! The invites recieved rave reviews from everyone. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to "wow" friends and family with a one-of-a-kind invite. -

Working with HLR Designs was the easiest and one of the best experiences I have had thus far creating my dream wedding. After looking at dozens and dozens of invitations, I went to Heather with just a basic idea and from a quick conversation she read my mind and created the most beautiful invitation. I could not have dreamed up a better fit for me or the look of my wedding. She kept me informed thru the whole process, which was such a comfort to me. Heather was SO wonderful about listening to our ideas and creating a wonderful and unique presentation. Definitely not off-the-shelf if you know what I mean. We received so many compliments! Heather was a pleasure to work with. We had a vague idea of what we wanted for our wedding invitations but nothing concrete. She took our overall wedding attitude and general tone of the event and created invitations that totally matched our style, and captured the "personality" of our wedding perfectly. CREATIVE ... TIMELY ... BEAUTIFUL ... UNIQUE ... RESPONSIVE ... ETC.
I had contacted Heather to do my Save-The-Dates and I wasn't fully sure what I was looking for. I had some ideas on color and the overall look ... but I let her run with it. I was SOOOOO impressed with the final look and was so proud to have those go out to our family and friends! I got many compliments from people who received them ... they were beautiful and unique. The thing that was important to me was that we had something unique to us ... and she did it perfectly! We have saved one for our own photo frame and it will be on our walls forever ... LOVED THEM!
Heather was also very responsive, timely, professional and detailed. The value was amazing and the personal communication she gives makes you feel like more than just a 'customer' ... she seems to truly care about what she's making for you and wants you happy with the end result. With all the other details that go into a wedding that you're focused on ... it's nice to have someone like her taking care of the save-the-date/invitation/thank you card end of things!
You only get married once and you want to do it right and with your own style... we couldn't have been happier!

I absolultely loved the invitations I ordered for my friend's bridal shower from HLR designs. They were exactly what I knew my friend would want for her bridal shower. The invitations were of high quality and made with recycled materials which I knew my friend would value greatly. I thought the invitations were not only beautiful but had gorgeous personalized details and were cost effective. I would definitely order from HLR designs in the future. -

Heather was amazing to work with. She made our idea come to life and we absolutely loved our invitations and announcements. I was deployed during the last 5 months leading up to the wedding so communication was all via email. Even so, Heather was able to modify the invitations until I was perfectly happy and she even sent me proofs to my deployed location. The best part was that she offers a service to mail the invites for you which saved me huge amounts of stress. My husband and I, as well as all of our guests, were so happy with the final outcome. -
