Waited maybe 15 minutes in the line that stretched around the corner but had lots of friendly LIKE minded conversations with fellow shoppers. Choice was AMAZING & they stayed open past 3 (when they close @ 2) so that NO customers were turned away. Pizza fold up was amazing! Pastries were prepared to perfection & were the BEST we've EVAH had. Traveled from Massachusetts to actually SEE (& TASTE what ALL the commotion was about). GLAD to see Texas finally REALIZING they got scammed! -

Again, a line out the door. I moved away but try to visit Hive every time I am back to 1. support this biz and 2. buy some delicious goodies. So glad they had a few ICE cookies left! Making V-day extra sweet this year and will try to sneak any left-overs on the plane back to PA! Thanks Hive! KEEP ON! -

Bakery and Uniqueness
It is a small establishment where you can pick up goods to go or make special cake orders. When you walk in it is a goth/alternative type of ambiance but its open to anyone who enjoys baked goods in general. Very clean place amd they package the orders well. I tried their fall pumpkin cheesecake and smores cupcake... it was decadent. Some of these comments on this site are so not deserved and feel like personal vendettas against a small business owner who is doing something different. Give them a try and support local. -

We ordered cupcakes (2 flavors - lemon blueberry and cafe latte) for our brunch wedding and it was absolutely the perfect choice! The cafe latte cupcakes were so decadent and delicious, and the lemon blueberry were totally a crowd favorite. I would make a note for brides who want special displays of the cupcakes like a cupcake stand or tower that these are very tall gourmet cupcakes so they might not fit on something made for standard at-home cupcakes. Communication with Hive was super easy as well as coordinating pickup (we only ordered 4 dozen for a very small wedding so my coordinator picked them up day-of) -

The cake itself was delicious and we got a lot of compliments from our guests! I would definitely work with her again and can’t wait to visit her new bakery!

Madison Sent on 05/13/2018We loved our cakes! Haley is truly an amazing artist! We loved our cupcakes, boho/stained glass cake, and tailing redfish cake! They also taste OUTSTANDING! We had so many people after the wedding telling us that it was the best wedding cake they had ever had! Our guests also appreciated the unique flavors we had (rather than just plain vanilla and chocolate!). Mine was a cinnamon cake with buttercream frosting, the grooms cake was lemon with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting, and our cupcakes were chocolate with oreo frosting! Haley’s cakes are to die for! Great customer service too! Thanks Hive Bakery!

We started out by having a Fourth of July baby shower for my BFF.
Upon ordering, the staff acted like they were better than anyone else- the owner definitely had an attitude.
So I thought hey maybe this place was so delicious, they have the right to act like that. WRONG. It was meh at best.
Cookies were dry and overcooked and the brownies were so bland you couldn’t even taste anything. Too pricey for the taste and tude.
Do not recommend. -

Terrible customer service, baler did not follow directions.
I was in my friends wedding yesterday. The baker ignored the instructions and inspiration photos. It was 100% NOT the right colours or flowers. It was also messy. While returning the cake and picking up the new one, she was cruel. Ugly, rude, condescending, defensive. She later posted on her Facebook page about not wanting to have done this cake because she didn't want to do wedding cakes anymore. The quality of work in this cake and her horrible attitude showed that in this cake/situation. It is a further cruelty to use photos of the two cakes in this instance to promote business on social media. The picture on her socials also did not accurately reflect the condition of the cake after the dye bled and became muddy. The first two pictures are the inspiration pictures. The third is what Hive gave us. This was not a miscomminication. -

NEVER EVER PATRONIZE THIS BAKERY! The owner, "Haley", refers to her cookies and cakes as "TASTY SHIT". First, I DON'T EAT 'SHIT', and two, I would never consider 'SHIT' to be 'TASTY'. Also this woman has a VERY NASTY and COMBATIVE ATTITUDE with customers. Also, her friends and customers are FLOODING REVIEW SITES with FALSE POSITIVES! The designs are childlike and the staff is rude. I give this "bakery" a one because that's as low as the scale here goes. IGNORE ALL THOSE FIVE STAR REVIEWS as they are FAKE POSITIVES! Any reputable food producer would not use the word "SHIT" in referencing their product. THINK ABOUT THAT! -

We wanted to find cookies to celebrate the 4th. The first thing we saw were cookies with upside down American flags. We found a more inclusive bakery elsewhere. -

Given the harsh, one-sided beliefs they post on social media, there's no telling what the owner or staff might do to your food if they have any idea that your political views might not align with their own.
This bakery thinks it's a political action committee with cupcakes. Every item feels like a vehicle for their messaging, and the actual baking takes a back seat to whatever point they're trying to make. They believe that Republicans are "a cult of unintelligent, rabid, immoral sycophants". They actually lean into the backlash, almost proudly, which only makes it clearer that they operate as a one‑sided business rather than a genuine community bakery.
Its a hard pass for me. -
