The Paca house was amazing for our September wedding!
Ginny was super helpful every step of the way and made sure our day was perfect. We were planning our wedding from out of state, and Ginny was really responsive in answering any and all of our questions, and recommending things in the local area.
The gardens are beautiful and our guests had a wonderful time. We highly recommend the Paca house for any wedding for those looking to get married in the Maryland area.

Wonderful Summer Wedding Venue
We got married at the William Paca House and Garden this summer and had a fantastic experience. Ginny and her team made sure our day was flawless. The planning process leading up to our wedding was smooth as well. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful garden wedding in the heart of downtown Annapolis. Intimate Garden Ceremony
Wow! Ginny and Lauren made our day so much easier! We had a very small guest list including immediate family and our closest friends. Ginny has always been extremely responsive from the beginning to the very end! She quickly adapted to changes in guest count due to unexpected Covid circumstances, we ended up having 10 guests and she adjusted the seating arrangements immediately. She also dropped off our marriage license for us which we really appreciated ❤️ Lauren stepped in as DJ on our Bluetooth for ceremony music. They made everything go so smoothly, and the gardens are simply breathtaking. Thank you guys so much for all you did to make our wedding day so personal and special ❤️

The Garden of Love
We visited many places before landing at the William Paca Garden. I remember calling and inquiring about the location. It’s was a calm and cheerful conversation about the location. There was no stress or complications from the vendor. We did a viewing of the property within 2 weeks from our conversation. They were very accommodating with our schedules so that made it easier. The venue was beautiful in February so I knew my June wedding would be perfect. Ginny went over and beyond for us. The venue list of florists, rentals, and caterers were great. They all worked well together. It was basically up to our budget moving forward with the vendor. In the beginning we were looking for a package wedding deal. It seemed easier in the beginning but later decided to do something intimate and personal for us. We had a garden wedding with 50 guests. Tiny Bubbles hosted with amazing cocktails and highland graze did a beautiful grazing table with different cheeses, fruits, and passed appetizers. It was a beautiful place with great people who loved to enjoy in our wedding day.

A Wedding Dream Realized
The William Paca House & Garden along with it's coordinator Ginny, were something I could only dream of. The property itself is amazing and full of history. The gardens are stunning and the pathway to the Summer House is a brides dream aisle.
Ginny was literally the best. She made everything so easy, she has everything figured out and I literally didn't have to do a thing. She is wonderful and made me feel like we'd been friends for a lifetime. I can't say enough good things about her - she truly made my special day, special. The staff that helped her were all warm and wonderful.
I'm beyond pleased that I stumbled across this venue. It was affordable, well laid out, and Ginny has everything you could think of. I can't wait to return year after year to visit!

Amazing Director
While my fiancé and I ultimately did not book Paca House for our wedding (our guest list grew past the original estimate), we cannot recommend Ginny Hockey, the Weddings and Special Events Director, enough. Ginny was very responsive when we reached out to schedule a tour. During the tour, she described a perfect schedule (including the best spots for different types of photographs) and had tons of ideas for how to implement the features we envisioned. Also, her preferred vendors list is incredible--she has vendors to meet all sorts of visions and budgets, and was able to suggest which would be the best fit for us, based on our descriptions of what we wanted.

The most incredible wedding venue I could have dreamed of!
The Paca House and Gardens are the most stunning, special hidden gem of a wedding venue! You would never know that huge, beautiful English garden is hiding right in downtown Annapolis. Ginny Hockey is amazing too --- she does everything that a wedding planner would do and more! I can't recommend her more highly! This venue made all of my dreams come true and my guests were in love with it too. The price was a steal too!

The Perfect Place for our Reception
Everything about my experience at the Paca Garden was wonderful! Ginny and her staff made my wedding day perfect and went above and beyond. From prompt communication, recomendations on vendors, reassurances when wedding stress came on, to how seamlessly the day itself flowed, I can't recommend the Paca Garden high enough. It's clear this team is professional and knows their venue space. It can be a bit scary not being able to set up your own wedding decorations (I did all DIY), but when I arrived the place looked even better than could have imagined! When rain came and threw us a curveball, Ginny and her team reacted swiftly and helped us pivot, and the day ended up being just as perfect as originally planned. It was a perfect day all around, and the Paca Gardens provided a great venue for the day!

Gorgeous gardens, incredible staff
We were incredibly happy with Paca House and Garden for our summer wedding. The event coordinator Ginny is an absolute wizard -- she thoughtfully asked every question in advance, helping us plan for contingencies we didn't even know to think about. She was present during the entire event, with her staff, and managed the vendors (and even a few guests who required wrangling). She knows everyone in Annapolis and was able to give us idiot-proof instructions for how to get and file the marriage licenses, find parking for everyone, and even how to keep people cool in the summer heat.
The location itself can't be beat. The only drawback is parking (the street is very narrow and reserved for residents), but as mentioned above, Ginny helped us reserve spots on the street and direct guests to public parking close by. The gardens are gorgeous - no matter what time of year, something beautiful will be growing there. And with the church bells providing background ambiance, our wedding practically felt like a royal event. Loved it here - if you want a garden wedding, this is the place.

The Paca house is a gorgeous venue in the extremely charming city of Annapolis. I can’t say enough about how much our guests enjoyed the gardens and view. There are plenty of photo ops. Ginny and her team make the Paca house even more special- she is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and an overall a delight to work with. She will ensure any wedding day anxieties you have are taken care of with the utmost attention. I did not have to focus on keeping up with the day-of-wedding timeline or placing decorations myself because Ginny and her team already had it under control. I can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

Wonderful Experience at the Paca House!
We were looking for a place in Annapolis to hold a reception for our family matriarch that had recently passed. We toured the Paca House and decided to hold it there. That was the first great decision we made. The next was listening to all the suggestions of our event coordinator Ginny! She had great ideas for caters, floral designers and wine suppliers. They all worked in sync. Ginny was wonderful, supportive and cheerful. The property is absolutely beautiful! The house is amazing and had everything we needed. You will be thrilled with holding your event at the William Paca House!

HIGHLY Recommend - Truly, the perfect venue!
The Paca House had us within the first 5 minutes of our tour. The beautiful gardens speak for itself but it was Ginny and the Paca House staff who immediately made us feel the warmth and the magic of this venue. Ginny is the true star of this venue as the event coordinator. She helped us every step of the way during our wedding planning process to help our day run seamlessly. She created a timeline, sent vendor organization forms, and prepared meetings along the way to ensure all vendors were in mutual understanding of our vision. Her professionalism and immediate response to any questions we had made her a reliable and trust worthy guide throughout this process . Prior to our offsite ceremony, we used the house as a prep space for the groomsmen and accommodations were created without hesitation. Ginny provided exceptional service and showed us so much kindness throughout the reception. The suggested vendors of the Paca House worked wonderfully together with clear communication which created the perfect reception without any problems. The gardens were well manicured and prepared for our big day which made for the most beautiful backdrop for our photographs. We cannot recommend this venue and the Paca House team enough!!

Magical wedding weekend!
Ben and I had the most incredible wedding weekend of our entire lives and the Paca House was the magical backdrop! Gorgeous fall weather, everyone said the grounds and the ceremony looked straight out of a fairytale. Ginny was on top of everything and I felt confident that nothing would fall through the cracks. She has a great relationship with all of the vendors too so I was happy knowing the run-of-show would be smooth and that I would be able to forget about all the details and just ENJOY myself - which I did!!! Paca House was an absolutely beautiful venue for our daughters wedding. Ginny was the most kind and helpful wedding/special event director. The gardens and terraces made for an enchanting October wedding. You can stroll the gardens during the reception. Everything ran smoothly and it was the best experience we could’ve hoped for. I highly recommend any engaged couple go check out the Paca House and Gardens. You will not be disappointed from the simple beauty and the reasonable fee to having Ginny calm your stress levels by answering all questions in a timely manner, to running the reception like a well oiled machine. We are over the moon happy that God closed the door on another venue and opened the door to the William Paca House & Gardens. Our experience was an A++++

The Paca House is BEAUTIFUL! The patios and gardens were a perfect backdrop for our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party! Ginny allowed me to use her office to create the flowers and lanterns that she and her staff along with the caterers placed! WHAT SERVICE! They did an amazing job. Some of our local guests had never been to Paca House and were very impressed. It is a magical place and would highly recommend. It was difficult to find a space big enough (and so beautiful) for a dinner for 40 and a party for an additional 100. It was a magical night.

The Paca House is a HIDDEN GEM! Cannot say enough good things about this wedding venue.
First, Ginny and her entire team are incredible. No need for a wedding planner... Ginny is a renaissance (wo)man! She was so knowledgeable about best local companies/vendors to work with. She helped make our wedding reception so personalized. Most importantly, on the day of our wedding... she was there from start to finish making sure everything (and everyone) was taken care of. Cannot say enough good things!
Next, the location can't be beat. It is right in the heart of downtown Annapolis so everything (including the after-party) was in walking distance. Most of my family and friends actually stayed downtown for the wedding weekend and we loved running into wedding guests around town in the days leading up to the event.
Finally, the venue has so much character. The house is historic (William Paca was a signer of the Declaration of Independence). The gardens are STUNNING. Everything was so elegant and beautiful.
The entire team at the Paca House will forever have such a special place in our hearts. Highly recommend!

Run don’t walk to the Paca House! Jody Dalton and her team are fabulous. From our first messages to the day of the wedding, Jody was fantastic and so kind. The garden is incredibly beautiful and some of our guests remarked that it was their favorite wedding that they had ever been to. My (now) husband and I may be biased but we agree! From the minute we arrived onsite on the day of the wedding to our exit at the end of the night, everything was so well run and organized. After lowering our guest count due to the pandemic, I did not have a “day of coordinator” and there was honestly no need with this amazing team onsite!! I’m not even sure what another person would have done because everything was thought of and they made our wedding day absolutely perfect. We can’t thank them enough!

The William Paca House and Garden is exceptional. It is a little treasure in downtown Annapolis and my husband and I were lucky to be married there. Jody, our wedding coordinator, was so helpful and reassured us that our day would be perfect. Thankfully, it was perfect, due to Jody and her staff's amazing work. The 2020 pandemic created many disruptions in our lives, including the loss of 3 family members. So when our Panama 🇵🇦 destination wedding canceled due to COVID, we knew we wanted to find a way to celebrate light & love to lift us out of the dark and heavy we are all living in. With less than 30 days to our wedding, we discovered the William Paca House & Garden, fell in love with Jody Dalton and booked immediately. The venue was perfect, provided social distance and amazing photo opportunities. Jody was FABULOUS!!!! Not only did she bring to life all that I had envisioned, she connected me to a local bakery 3 days before the wedding and advocated for our celebration when MD got on the quarantine list just 18 days before the wedding. We worked so closely during that span of 4 weeks that Jody has become a part of the family. We have already agreed to visit the house on EVERY anniversary and enjoy the bakery cupcakes under our very own tree! We ABSOLUTELY recommend this amazing venue, location and coordinator for your next event.

Amazing experience
Jody and her team made our wedding day better than we could have imagined. Everyone was an absolute joy to work with. Their attention to detail and organization made me feel so relieved on our wedding day. I was able to just enjoy the day knowing they would make everything flow perfectly. I can not recommend using the Paca House enough!

Catered private dinner in the Paca Gardens
We enjoyed our 35th wedding anniversary in the summerhouse in the Paca Gardens, catered by Ken's Kitchen. It was fabulous, and I picked up many brownie points from my lovely wife Elizabeth. Jody and team did an amazing job. What a setting!

The perfect ceremony venue!
Working with Jody Dalton at William Paca House & Gardens was a truly wonderful experience for my and my husband's elopement ceremony with just our parents on 8/19/20. From start to finish Jody was quick to respond, answered all of our questions effortlessly and efficiently and was so flexible and helpful onsite! Not to mention it is an absolutely beautiful venue and a perfect backdrop for a garden ceremony, the grounds are kept perfectly and even after it rained that morning in Annapolis, by the 3pm ceremony, you would never have been able to tell. Would highly recommend Jody and William Paca House & Gardens to anyone!

The perfect venue
The William Paca House and Garden is the PERFECT wedding venue. It’s a great setup for the ceremony and reception with beautiful and manicured garden views, which make it picturesque as well. The absolute best thing about this venue is working with the Director of Sales, Jody. She goes above and beyond for her couples and takes so much pride in the Paca House and all that it has to offer. If you are lucky enough to book your wedding at the Paca House, you are guaranteed to have the most incredible wedding.

Delightful, Easy, & WONDERFUL!
Words can scarcely express the amazing experience we had for our daughter's Sept 2019 wedding! From the very first planning-meeting (many months ahead) through the "recovery" days after the wedding, Jody Dalton provided expert, thoughtful guidance and assistance on everything! This was our first wedding (oldest child), so we were very intimidated at first. However, Jody is such a seasoned PRO that we opted to NOT hire a Wedding Planner/Coordinator-- because Jody's involvement was so comprehensive and on-point. (TIP: Book Jody AND any of the Catering companies on her "preferred" list {we booked Ken's Creative Kitchen for ours}-- and you get the combined coordination between TWO key players (the Venue and the Caterer), working in concert. ) No detail was overlooked. At the event itself, Jody served as behind-the-scenes "quarterback," directing all the actions of her staff and the catering staff to make ours a flawless, casual and comfortable evening for all 140 guests-- and 100% worry-free for the bride and groom! Jody also helped us (Mom and Dad) personally-- throughout the evening-- with helpful, unobtrusive, "gentle" reminders along the way to keep us on-track for accomplishing all elements of the reception (toasts, cake-cutting, etc.) without ever feeling rushed. The venue itself (William Pace House & Gardens) is hands-down the most beautiful, perfectly-sized spot for a true Historic Annapolis wedding! You cannot take a bad photo anywhere in the place! When it was all over, we almost wanted to do it all over AGAIN, just to Jody some more :-) If you're set on having an Annapolis wedding, we cannot IMAGINE a better, easier, more cost-effective, or more wonderful spot and support team than Wm. Paca House and Jody Dalton. | Lastly-- Brides: go talk with Jody just once-- even if you don't end up booking the Paca House, you'll be glad you met her!

A Five Star Experience

Perfect Venue!
The Paca House was the only venue my husband and I looked at when searching for reception venues. We were hooked the moment we saw the gardens! The grounds are absolutely stunning and the whole set-up was magical. Also, Jody and her staff are AMAZING. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly what we wanted. Would have my wedding here every year over and over again if I could!

Beautiful Venue with a First-Rate Staff
When my fiance and I decided to get married in Annapolis, the Paca House was our first stop. We knew right away that it was the perfect venue for the intimate reception we hoped to have, and that feeling was made even more clear the moment we met Jody.
I truly can't say enough kind words about Jody and the rest of the Paca House team. From the moment we booked our date, she put her years of experience and extensive knowledge of the area to work, providing helpful recommendations for caterers, music, and places to stay downtown. Then, in the months leading up to my wedding day, Jody (no matter how busy she was) took time to talk me through any and all questions and concerns. A few times I even dropped in unexpectedly with family or friends -- each time, Jody stopped what she was doing, gave us a tour of the gardens and walked us through the run-of-show for our reception.
My wedding day turned out to be absolutely perfect, and I give so much of the credit to Jody. She does her job with joy, and it's so obvious how much she loves her work. I will always be especially grateful that she made it a priority to take such good care of my husband and I on the actual day -- even making sure that we had a few quiet moments to ourselves before we were "announced" as husband and wife.
Thank you, Jody! You are one-of-a-kind. Joe and I will remember and treasure our beautiful Paca House wedding for the rest of our lives.

The Perfect Day
The Paca house was everything we wanted for a beautiful and historic venue. The garden could not have been more lovely, and the Paca team was so helpful even the day after the wedding! The tents were the perfect size for our wedding and we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

Loved the entire William Paca experience!
As soon as I walked through the doors into the Paca garden I knew it was where I wanted to get married and every step that came after kept proving my first instinct right. The Perfect Venue!
Our daughters wedding was perfect and the planning all began with Jody and the William Paca House and Gardens! Jody guided us throughout the year with great suggestions and especially with calm reassurance that everything would be beautiful and she was so right! Our guests were amazed at the gorgeous gardens that lay just beyond the front door that provided the backdrop for what was a beautiful wedding day.

A Dream Wedding!
Our reception at the William Paca House & Garden was an absolute dream. It was beautiful and our guests enjoyed a night of walking through the gardens and dancing until their feet hurt! Everything from the lighting, to the view of the gardens, to the lanterns lining the steps down to the bridge was magnificent. It truly felt like a fairytale wedding and was such a romantic venue!

Jody and her team are EXCELLENT. If you are looking for a worry-free day in an unparalleled venue, The William Paca House and Garden and Jody Dalton are your place and team. Jody took care of every detail on the day and provided guidance, a listening ear, and pep talks whenever needed. She cares about her couples and ensures they get a few minutes to breathe after the ceremony, which is very special and made us feel calm, happy and able to soak in that we were now husband and wife. Could not be more delighted with how Jody and her team took care of us. The Garden is absolutely stunning as well- a win-win all around.

Great atmosphere and exceptional Service
We had our wedding on memorial day weekend at the William Paca House. The garden was perfect for our wedding size of 75 people. The service is phenomenal, and everyone was very accommodating. It started to thunderstorm right after our ceremony and the William Paca House reacted very quickly to get our guests set up indoors for the cocktail hour. I will definitely be back at the Paca house in the future and I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a place on their special day.

Such an amazing day!
Jody and the staff of William Paca House were amazing on the super rainy day of our wedding.
They got all of our guests out of the rain and in to the building, and I (the bride), didn't know of any problems until after they were already on top of the situation.
The venue was beautiful, and I can' wait to go back and visit.

If I could give this venue a 6/5 I absolutely would! The William Paca House and Gardens was the perfect spot for the romantic and timeless wedding I had envisioned, but having Jody as the coordinator was what really made this place incredible. When your wedding unexpectedly turns into a tropical storm, there is no one you need more in your life than Jody. Before I even knew the weather was taking a turn for the worst we were whisked inside and had drinks and desserts in hand. The day was still perfect and magical, and guests just love this little slice of heaven tucked away in Historic Downtown Annapolis. There aren't enough wonderful things I can say about this venue!

The entire Paca House "Team" was incredible!! I cannot say enough about Jody and the services provided. From start to finish, absolutely outstanding. BOTH our daughters were married at Paca House in 2016 and 2018 and if we had more children, we'd use the Paca House again! The gardens, summer house and reception area is the best in all of Annapolis! 5 stars all the way!

I've been doing a large annual event at the Paca House and Gardens for the last 4 years, and it is hands down one of my favorite venues to work with in Annapolis! The staff is always so kind (Jody is incredible, she LOVES what she does, and it shows!), the venue itself is unique and so beautiful. Depending on the size of your event, you may have to rent some items (tables, chairs, etc.), but they will help you out with whatever they have there on site, which is really awesome and helps a lot! They also have very good relationships with many outside vendors, which makes things a lot easier as well. If you're looking for a fun and unique experience that your guests won't soon forget, this is the place!

When we walked into the Paca House and Garden we immediately knew that it was the place where our wedding reception would take place. Jody and her staff are an absolute joy to work with. I had a vision and they helped me bring it to life! About one month before the wedding I met with Jody and Julie from Main & Market. They worked seamlessly together and after that there was not a doubt in my mind that they had everything under control. Our guests were in awe when they walked into our reception. We had multiple guests sincerely tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding reception that they had ever been to. Our ceremony was held at the Naval Academy Chapel so the Paca House was the perfect location for our reception as it is only a 5 minute walk away. It was truly our fairytale wedding!

The Paca House was a sentimental choice for me and my husband (he's a long-time Annapolitan and I'm an architectural historian). We were in excellent hands -- Jody and her staff were incredibly organized, always on top of things, and extremely flexible when the last minute details changed a bit. Their experience working with local caterers and musicians really made everything work smoothly. And of course the venue is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend the Paca House if your looking for an intimate wedding in downtown Annapolis.

Jody and the team at the William Paca House were truly incredible. From our first visit, we could tell that she really did care about making sure our big day was everything we hoped it would be. They were great at accommodating requests for our families and guests and even kept the full staff there when the rain started to make sure the event concluded smoothly. The venue itself was beautiful and made for a wonderful ceremony. It was so beautiful that the photographer could have kept taking pictures for hours but Jody made sure we kept on schedule and the rest of her team were there to gather our belongings, provide water while we stood in the heat taking pictures, and everything else we needed like elves making sure we didn't even have to consider what we needed. Jody was able to answer any question we had, and even ones we didn't even know we had yet. We could not have been happier!

I cannot begin to explain how amazing Jody and her team are at the Paca House. From the moment I met Jody, I knew she was going to be the most valuable person to me. She was there everyday when I had questions, concerns or just need to get out the pre-wedding vent. Jody is a true professional, but more importantly, she really cares about her brides (and grooms) and will make sure your wedding goes off without a hitch. Her team, are just as fantastic. They are hardworking and kind people, who are there to ensure that every little thing is looked after at. The venue itself is beautiful and is a blank canvas for whatever you want to do. The Paca House is a beautiful and historic location, and the facility can handle all the modern amenities you want on your special day. When I hesitated a little because of parking downtown for our family elders, Jody advised me I could reserve spaces on Prince George Street for only $25 apiece - problem solved! My 87 year old aunt felt like a rock star! We were lucky to have gorgeous weather for our day but even in bad weather, they have backup plans so things can go off without a problem. Jody is fantastic to work with; she has great ideas and was very responsive in helping us achieve the experience we wanted for our guests. Last but not least, her list of vendors was great because they knew the location, and all really worked to give us value for our money. We spent less than 6 months planning our day but everyone we worked with welcomed our business and did not make us feel rushed or squeezed in. Highly recommend!

I plan an annual event at the Paca House for our neighborhood. The gardens are lovely and the view from the covered patio is truly enchanting. But, the tent and chandeliers are also classy. The staff is always helpful and professional. I highly recommend the Paca House for a wedding or any other event you are planning for a larger group.

We had our son's rehearsal dinner at the Paca House. All of our guests were from out of town, so we invited everyone (approximately 100 people) to the event. The Paca House was the perfect venue, with its stunning gardens, view of the USNA chapel dome and beautiful historical home. Jody Dalton was incredible to work with and is the warmest, most lovely person. She made sure every last detail was taken care of so there was never any stress in planning the event or the day of. Jody also gave us an important tip: go over to the city garage off of Main Street (behind Jimmy John's) and purchase a couple of parking permits. The city will put up "permit only" parking signs on the day of your event so you can park directly in front of the Paca House. We had buses shuttling our guests, but the parking spaces came in extremely handy. Ken's Creative Kitchen catered our dinner. They are another incredible vendor and work seamlessly with the Paca House. You cannot go wrong having your event at this wonderful venue.

We had our ceremony and cocktail hour at the Paca House. It couldn't have been more perfect! Jody is amazing, whenever I was getting overwhelmed or freaking out, she calmed me down!
The tent is beautiful, and you really don't need a lot of decorations to have your special day there, because the place is perfect all the time! Watching my bridal party process down the isle from the House was so cool and my grand entrance was awesome!
Also because we got married against the summer house, the guests were on the other side of the bridge and it felt like my husband and I were the only people there. It was a fair tale! Thank you Jody and your team for making my wedding dreams reality!

Paca House is more than just a venue. It was an idyllic location for our wedding - a gorgeous historic home, with a sprawling garden perfect for ceremonies, and a great staff to help you through everything. We could not have asked for a better day, with the exception of an unforeseen medical emergency. Even then, the staff snapped into action during and then worked hard to get the celebration on track after. Throughout the planning process, on the day of, and immediately following, I could not have asked for more than the Sales Director Jody provided. We wanted our day to be as perfect as possible and Paca did not disappoint. We cannot say enough about how much we loved Paca House for our wedding - it was one of the best decisions we made throughout the entire planning process.

Jody was amazing. she worked so well with my husband and I. This reception site was right in downtown Annapolis. It was historic and the huge garden in the back was so pretty. The eating took place under tents and they had a rain plan. However, the weather was perfect. I would recommend this site to anyone.

We just got married two weeks ago and used the paca house as our reception site. It rained the entire time. Jody was super accommodating though and managed to put the sides down for the tent in a flash for us, was super flexible and accommodating to make sure it was a good day for us! She was wonderful, and worked closely without caterer to make sure everything ran smoothly. We barely even noticed the rain with her help, and everyone had a great time! And it obviously provides a beautiful back drop for the entire event.... It has gorgeous grounds and gardens for your guests to explore (and also now has a corn hole set since we left her ours, if you enjoy garden games). So between the actual venue, and Jody being an awesome coordinator and a fun and enthusiastic person to work with, it was a great place to celebrate!
Oh.... And the tent comes with the over all rental, which makes an outdoor wedding way more affordable (awesome!)....and when you are done, you get to walk down to the bars to keep the party going! Only recommendation is there is a noise ordinance for the neighborhood, so you have to be out by 9. I was worried it would also mean that the music wouldn't be loud enough for a dance party, but it was! The dance floor is one one side of the patio and the seating area on the other, the seating area is a little quieter, but they set up a speaker on that side so you can still hear the music, but it's not so loud you can't talk.... And the dance floor is the perfect volume. If you want to have a 4 hour or longer reception though, just make sure you plan around the 9pm rule. Our reception was only 3.5 hours or so, and then we just moved the par downtown and kept going, everyone had a really good time, and the 9pm cut off doesn't put a damper on the celebrations. Just start earlier.
The place, and Jody were great! And We are so glad we went with the Paca house!

The Paca House was the perfect place for my fiance and I to get married. I fell in love with it the moment that I saw it, and it was the ideal setting for our fall outdoor wedding. Jody was instrumental in helping us plan everything and I felt very at ease knowing that she would be handling any issues that would arise. All of our guests were raving about how beautiful the Paca House was, and though many of my guests had gone to school in Annapolis with me, they had never even been in the garden before. The Paca House is like a well kept secret, and I couldn't have been happier getting married and having my cocktail hour and reception there. The downside would be for anyone wanting to have a large wedding, as the venue is limited in size, as well as the fact that the reception cannot go on past 10 PM due to noise restrictions. This was not a problem for us, especially since The Paca House is an easy walking distance to downtown, and my friends and I were able to continue the celebration down the street in downtown Annapolis. I would highly recommend this venue for any friends getting thinking of getting married in Annapolis. Thank you Jody, for everything!

This is the perfect place to have an outdoor wedding. The grounds are beautiful, and people are still talking about how wonderful it was. Jody and her staff were amazing and helped us through all the details. She was very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed. I cannot say enough good things about this venue!! It is also in a great location in Annapolis.

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here. It was absolutely beautiful. We looked at several venues and I almost didn't visit the Paca House because I thought it was out of my budget. After looking around I found that the Paca House actually is a nice value. The tents for the reception area are included and they also have some tables and chairs on site. There were no hidden fees and no unexpected rules. Everything was laid out in an easy to understand contract up front. I stress this because a couple of my girlfriends were married this year and had problems with their venues giving them new fees and guidelines through the planning process. That did not happen here.
Another reason we chose the Paca House is because of Jody. Jody is the Sales Director and also books and coordinates all the weddings. She is very warm and extremely accommodating. She made the whole planning process easy and she's a total pro. She really has it down to a science and offers great suggestions and ideas...all the while saying, "but you can do whatever you want." On the day of my wedding, I didn't worry about a single thing. Everything was taken care of for us by Jody and her staff. She made sure everything stayed on time and the whole day flowed. She even makes sure the bride and groom get private time together before they're announced.
Our guests loved the garden and we received tons of compliments. It was exactly the kind of casual elegance I was looking for.

The William Paca house was a beautiful location for our wedding and the weather was perfect. They were extremely accommodating and helpful in planning our service as well. The only downside is that your guests have to stand as they only provide 10 chairs for immediate family and the elderly. It was also a little on the pricey side, but worth every penny.

I fell in love with the William Paca House the first time I visited, and on the day of our wedding it was absolutely perfect. All of our guests commented on how wonderful the place was. And Jodi was so great throughout the whole wedding planning process, she really helped us figure things out. She was a crucial part of the wedding day too, making sure that everything was going as planned. She was always there seeing if I needed anything, playing interference when we were moving from place to place for pictures, and just making sure things were perfect. I know we could not have pulled it off without her.

We had our wedding at the Paca House and it was an amazing, beautiful event. Jody, the director for weddings and events, is a true pro. She was amazing during the planning and implementation of our event. The Paca House is a wonderful, historic backdrop for your wedding and I can't recommend it enough. Since it is a historic site the Paca House does have certain rules, but Jody is very up front about these and is willing to work with you as best she can to get what you want for your day. In the days before the event Jody made sure all of the vendors were on a timeline for delivery and set-up. Most importantly, she made sure on the day of the event we were able to steal 5 minutes away from the reception. She gave us her office and made sure no one bothered us for a few minutes so that we could have a moment alone. It was one of the few times that we had a chance to spend alone that whole day. If you want a fairy-tale wedding in one of the most idyllic settings in Annapolis, then the Paca House is right for you.

Ginny and Paca are unmatched
This is a high risk, high reward venue because it is weather dependent but the weather was perfect for our May date and it was unforgettably stunning, live and in photos. (There’s also some uncontrollable street and frog noise but we didn’t mind.. some might.) Ginny was such a pro, helpful every step of the way from touring and deciding through planning and execution. And I love that it is a public museum so we can visit our wedding venue for anniversaries, etc.
In short Paca House has some limitations (early curfew, noise, weather dependency, historic restrictions) but if you’re willing it’s beyond beautiful and special.

We started with a very personalized meeting with Jody, the wedding coordinator. She responded to my calls & emails. We chose to have the wedding ceremony here and the reception somewhere else. The guests were either shuttled or parked in a nearby garage. At the rehearsal, Jody honored my EVERY request, which included some set-up under the tent & near the summer house, and musician location. Guests did not mind standing. You stand to honor the bride & groom any way. This setting was stunning for our daughter's June wedding! Everything was perfect!

The William Paca House is absolutely gorgeous for wedding ceremonies. The gardens are unmatched and the house is beautiful and historic. Even with a downpour 5 minutes before "showtime" for our outdoor ceremony, the staff handled it beautifully and everything went off without a hitch. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

Jody Dalton and her staff were phenomenal in making a stressful situation run smoothly. Unfortunately there was some rain on my wedding day and we decided to move the ceremony from in front of the Summer house to under the reception tents. This was done so quickly and well that I feel like moving to a new ceremony location didn't affect the wedding. From the very start Jody had made it clear that my wedding and all it's details mattered to her and that carried through to the day of. I absolutely loved this location, and even with rain it was incredibly beautiful. Thank you so much to Jody and to each of the Paca House staff that made my wedding day wonderful.

We worked with Jody to plan our wedding at the Paca House and she was so friendly and helpful. She provided so many ideas and insight into the wedding planning process from working in the industry for a while. I was initially worried about the 10 seats for the ceremony but Jody provided pictures and eased my worry completely. Jody and her staff were great on the day of our wedding; especially with a rainy day and the chaos of where the ceremony would be held.

This place is such a hidden gem in Annapolis! The garden was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and reception. We got married at the end of August 2017, and the weather was BEAUTIFUL, and everything went so well. Jody and her staff were great. They have the day-of management down to a science, and it was seamless! They also have a great relationship with the local vendors too, and were so accommodating to all of our questions and concerns! Plus it is one of the most reasonably-priced venues we researched! It was the first place my husband and I visited, and we were sold!

We worked with Jody to plan our ceremony and reception at the Paca House. At first, I was worried about the fact that all of the guests (minus about 10 - parents and elderly/pregnant guests) would be standing and not sitting during the ceremony. Jody showed me many pictures of other weddings and how intimate it is to have everyone standing close during the ceremony. Many couples do their ceremony in front of the white summer house at the end of the property, but we opted for doing ours on the bridge. The weather ended up being perfect and the ceremony was just absolutely gorgeous at that location. The grass was perfectly green and all of the white paint on the bridge looked so crisp in the sun. Jody worked with our DJ to have speakers set up for the ceremony music and for our officiant to be miced. She worked with us a lot the months before our wedding to answer any questions we had and let us visit a few times so we could envision our day there. The day before our wedding, we did our rehearsal at the garden and she got everyone in control and worked the rehearsal out flawlessly. She also let us bring stuff in for our wedding early (like stuff for the tables, alcohol, centerpieces, etc.) so that we didn't have as much to worry about the day of. She had a staff working with her also to ensure the guests got to where they were supposed to be, and she made sure the bridal party made their walk down the gravel "aisle" at the appropriate time, and a staff member was with me to open the doors from the main house so I could make my grand entrance (exit from the house, to the garden). The tents she has set up for the reception are so elegant. They are the perfect bridal tent. She also had 10 60" round tables that we used and 50 white folding chairs, which helped cut down on our rental costs. We had about 90 guests, which was pretty much perfect for the size of the venue. It did not seem too crowded or empty at all. We also got amazing pictures there.

The venue is gorgeous, but if you are looking for a traditional, seated ceremony you will have to book elsewhere. Guests stand in the garden as seats would likely wreck the landscaping. The absence of seating did not bother our guests though, everyone loved the venue!

Most people envision their wedding day at least once in their life before it eventually happens. My wedding at the Paca Garden came close to that vision and for that, I am extremely thankful. While key loved ones were no longer with us, perhaps my dress was not as elegant as I imagined, the wedding captured the emotion I've always dreamed of for my wedding. Jodie was attentive, she listened, and she delivered. Her staff were so kind and generous...if they weren't making the event happen I may have thought they were an old friend. This location is beautiful, even if there are party size and time restrictions (it is nestled in a residential neighborhood). It truly means a lot when strangers execute your special day with such care.
A shortened review: see if the Paca Garden fits your needs and if it does, book the wedding date and don't look back.

Beautiful place....we got a million compliments! They provide a few tables, chairs, etc. and Jody is there to help you plan along the way. There are two beautiful tents included at the site, which are perfect for the reception and dancing! If it's hot - rent fans and keep your cake inside!! Best place to have a wedding and reception in Annapolis!

Beautiful venue but read your contract
I absolutely love the garden space - it was exactly what we were envisioning for our wedding day and everyone had a wonderful time. BUT brides beware - make sure you know your contract word for word and if it’s not explicitly stated in there, ask and GET IT IN WRITING.
We signed our contract with the previous wedding coordinator in early 2024 and once the coordinators changed, information was only shared if we asked and we were never given the full and complete information. When it came down to the final few months where we were really planning and working on logistics, things continued to change from our contract and conflicting information was given from the coordinator and her assistant. Thankfully we had a wonderful wedding coordinator (Premier Planning by Caitlin) who was professional and able to take care of all the back and forth for us.

The most gorgeous venue in Annapolis but unfortunately, the staff were disorganized, rude, unhelpful and the only negative part of our entire wedding weekend. And we (guests, family, vendors) mean negative. They made us start late, end early, screamed at the FOB and bride minutes before ceremony, didn't help with what they were supposed to and offended MANY of our guests and vendors. They also wouldn't let the groomsmen and groom into the venue (they basically snuck in...late!!!) and they blamed it on the bride when guests asked to use restrooms prior to the ceremony and they were too rude to oblige. Major disappoint with the quality of staff for all they promised and all we paid. The bride was bending down plugging in giant fans rented through Paca House and had to ask twice for help moving a fan to the dance floor (where it should have been) and only the caterers helped. The bride was completely shaking after Patricia charged her, running and screaming minutes before walking down the aisle because the golden retrievers stepped two feet into the property in order to turn around for one photo. Jody didn't call prior to the wedding to finalize as discussed and didn't reply to emails at all until the week before. Our photographers and videographers stated the worst venue they have ever worked with in their 19-30 years careers. Such a disappointment. The venue is the best, the staff really got close to ruining our wedding. Hoping others' guests, vendors and relatives don't have the same experience.
