Where do I even start? Tim is a gem. He made my husband and I’s experience unique and personal from the start. He made us feel seen and heard with a perfect harmony of letting us do us while leveraging his expertise to make the night amazing for all of our guests. We were at ease and trusted Tim & team to make our night one we’ll never forget! Words can’t capture how great these guys are!! I am so happy I chose Tim and Hip and Hitched for my big day. My only regret is we didn't extend the party another hour! All my guests were having the best time. As a special touch, we had a live saxophone player rocking the dance floor. It was such a neat and unique touch that was very memorable. Tim really listened to what we wanted an delivered. Phenomenal DJ Experience
I recently had the absolute pleasure of working with Hip & Hitched for an unforgettable 40th birthday party and client appreciation event. Tim exceeded all expectations and delivered an extraordinary experience for everyone!
From the first moment I contacted them, their professionalism and attention to detail were apparent. They took the time to fully understand my vision, preferences, and the atmosphere I wanted to create for my guests. Their ability to listen and adapt to our needs was truly commendable.
On the day of the event, the DJ arrived well-prepared and brought top-notch equipment that produced crystal-clear sound throughout the venue. The setup and lighting were sleek, and seamlessly integrated with the overall decor, enhancing the overall ambiance of the celebration.
What truly set Hip & Hitched apart was the DJ’s ability to read the crowd and curate the playlist provided so that it catered to everyone's tastes. Tim effortlessly transitioned between genres and eras, ensuring that the dance floor was never empty. The energy was infectious, and it seemed like he had an innate understanding of the perfect song for every moment. The dance floor was alive, and the atmosphere was electric! Tim’s mixing skills were impeccable. The transitions between tracks were flawless and fun, maintaining a consistent flow and keeping the energy levels high.
Also, his professionalism and punctuality were noteworthy. Tim arrived early to set up, dressed impeccably and maintained a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the entire event. His passion for what he does shone through in every interaction and added an extra layer of excitement to the celebration.
I cannot recommend Hip & Hitched highly enough for any event you may have. Their talent, professionalism, and ability to create an unforgettable experience are truly remarkable. If you want a DJ who will go above and beyond to make your event a resounding success, look no further. Tim is a true gem, and I guarantee he will exceed your highest expectations!

NO WORDS! Tim and the Hip & Hitched team brought the PARTY to our wedding! We found out about H&H's DJ live fusion band from other friends who had gotten married, and we knew after speaking to Tim for the first time that he was a good fit for us. He truly wants everyone to have a blast - and works so hard to deliver! Our families and friends were a wide blend from Latin dancers to people who never dance and our dance floor was PACKED all night long! Tim was so easy to work with on curating musical selections and the live Sax and Percussion were sooo entertaining! Our guests still haven't stopped talking about this crew. Don't question who to work with on your big day - if you want to have fun, you've found the right team!Hip and Hitched's reply:

Would hire them a million times over!
We absolutely LOVED the Hip & Hitched team. Sion played the sax and our guests ate it up. It was such a fun vibe the entire night and Mike dealt with requests like a champ. They made our wedding and we cannot thank them enough. It was such a blast! As for planning - Tim is an excellent communicator and always got back to me in a very timely manner. I never worried about things falling through the cracks. THANK YOU GUYS! -

Tim Degroot was the best Dj we could have ever asked for to DJ our beach wedding! We knew of him from attending my cousins wedding in atlanta and he was so good that we asked him if he could travel down to Florida for our beach wedding. He was extremely open to traveling and absolutely was the highlight of our wedding. He asked us the right questions and understood our song tastes, played the songs we specifically asked for, but the best thing about Tim was he read the room and did his thing without us having to think about it! He also had the perfect energy- not too hyper but always so upbeat and having the best time. You can tell he just loves what he does and does it well. We really could just party the night away and he just adjusted and understood the vibe of the room. I’ll never forget when he remixed all star and backstreets back.. that was so cool! Cannot express how impressed we were with the professionalism and talent of Tim and his crew. My husband wanted a DJ and I wanted a band, and when we found Hip and Hitched’s “fusion” option, it was a no brainer! Tim made the planning process so easy and blew us away at the reception with his custom mixes and Sion playing our favorites on the saxophone! Our guests still can’t stop talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor. Do yourself a favor and take the stress out of your big day-book Hip and Hitched! -

We hired Hip and Hitched to DJ and film our wedding, and they did such a fantastic job, our friends hired them for their wedding! Hip and Hitched is the best of both worlds with both a DJ and a band. They kept the party going all night long - everyone raved about the music. I am not much of a dancer, but I couldn’t help but dance the whole time.
Our video is incredible. They captured our special moments, the candids and posed. It’s something we’ve enjoyed watching over and over. I highly recommend Hip and Hitched for both DJing and videoing. They made our wedding special!Hip and Hitched's reply:

We first decided to hire Tim & team because of the saxophone players and other musicians that could perform with him. However, after meeting and getting to know Tim, we knew that this was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Tim is very professional, caring, fun, and goes above and beyond to ensure you worry less about your wedding day. Once our wedding was here, so many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to due to the music and dancing. Tim made our wedding - BOOK NOW!
UM WOW, Tim and his team definitely brought the PARTY to our wedding!
We knew immediately after speaking to Tim for the first time that he was our guy. His energy is so contagious, and he knows how to have fun. We had a lot of young adults, older adults, and grandparents at our wedding, and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. He honored all of our song requests for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and gave his own flare to it. He took initiative, read the party, and knew exactly how to keep us dancing all night long.
Our family and friends cannot stop complimenting how wonderful he was and he definitely made our night so special. I cannot stop raving about him and his team. You will not be disappointed with Tim at Hip & Hitched. Book now!!

I reached out to Tim of Hip and Hitched after seeing a few of their sample wedding videos on their site - I absolutely loved how each video captured the couple, their guests, and the celebrations so beautifully and uniquely. Tim was also quick to respond and patiently answered any and all questions. We had a two day Hindu + Christian wedding celebration and I worked specifically with Brock and he was truly incredible. We met before the wedding and went over the details of both ceremonies, which moments were critical to capture, and overall style of the final video. Brock was so fun to work with and most importantly he is SO talented. I am so grateful to have the most incredible wedding video for us to look back on and rewatch a million times. I highly recommend working with Hip and Hitched! -

I cannot say enough incredible things about the Hip & Hitched band, DJs, and video crew! We saw the band, DJ, and video crew in action at a wedding in 2019 and had the time of our lives, so, when I got engaged last year, my fiance and I immediately knew we wanted to book them for our 2021 wedding - they were the first vendor we booked, and we went with the live band with sax, bass, and percussion fused with the amazing DJ + video crew! From the initial phone call to discuss our vision to the wedding day itself, everyone with Hip & Hitched was truly a joy to work with! They made our vision come to life and it was even more than we could have imagined! I have never seen more people consistently on the dance floor at a wedding, and I still have friends texting me telling me how much fun they had at ours! I would recommend Hip & Hitched to EVERYONE, and I would love an invite so I can relive the best night over again! Thanks so much for everything, Hip & Hitched!!!
