    We booked one of our hotel blocks at the HGI Nashville-Vanderbilt, and most of our guests ended up staying there with us. I stay at this hotel every time I visit Nashville because of rate, comfort and proximity to specific Nashville spots I visit. Therefore, when we decided to travel to Nashville for our destination wedding, it was my first choice for lodging.

    The staff was great, greeting all of our guests enthusiastically, laughing and joking with us, and being extremely accommodating. At the end of our stay, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely choose the HGI next time we visit!

    This was the perfect venue for our wedding. Eliza was very responsive and professional. The food was excellent and the staff was great.

    The Hilton Garden Inn at Vanderbilt was the perfect location for our wedding reception. I have received nothing but praise regarding this venue: the food ( especially the Shrimp & Grits) was delicious, the staff were attentive, helpful, and professional, the ballroom was arranged to be so accommodating, the balcony provided our guests with a wonderful view of the Nashville Skyline as well as a fun place to sit, visit and the smokers in our crowd greatly appreciated the accommodation of the balcony.
    Eliza Straney, our Event Cooridantor, made it so easy for me (the Mother of the Bride), our vendors, and our guests. Her experience, organization, attention to detail, availability, willingness to help with whatever, and her professional manner were a tremendous benefit and so greatly appreicated. She was excellent in all that she did for our event. Through her list of vendors and recommedations we booked the following with excellent results: the Baker for the wedding cake and groom's cake, the rental company for the Band's stage and transportation for the wedding party.

    Eliza Straney, along with the Food and Beverage director were extremely professional, courteous, helpful and informative. They were involved and concerned with providing a pleasurable outcome as if it were their own event. They were present at the event and would always come to check with me to see if anything was needed and to make sure everything was OK. Also, the food tasting staff were very courteous and informative. The food was absolutely delicious. The banquet room was beautiful and the accommodations were fantastic. It was a pleasure to work with such nice people and I am glad that we chose your establishment for our event.

    Eliza Straney and the entire team at Hilton Garden Inn was amazing. The entire experience was stress free and so easy. The food at our reception was some of the best banquet/event food I have ever had. Eliza was always very accomodating and so easy to work with. She even organized the other vendors including the bakery, photographers and chair cover vendors. We cannot say enough good things about our experience with the Hilton Garden Inn. We highly recommend it and would book another event there.

    We recently had our wedding recption at the Hilton Garden Inn on Broadway. This venue is close to downtown with a beautiful view. Eliza is a dream to work with. She was responsive, professional, kind, and organized. She took care of all of our requests and worked with our schedule. She truly made our day even more special by taking away all the stress of the little details. Anyone would be lucky work with her and use this beautiful venue.

    The Hilton Garden Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt was a beautiful venue for the dinner/dance following our daughter's wedding at Wightman Chapel. The accommodations for our overnight guest, attention to details and warm reception made this a great weekend for everyone. The ballroom was beautiful.The preparation and serving of the food was excellent. A big "thank you" to the chef and his staff.
    We were warmly greeted the entire week by the parking attendants and staff at the front desk. From housekeeping to management, we were made to feel welcome and our needs were met.
    Planning a wedding is quite an undertaking. Eliza Straney, Catering Sales Manager, was very helpful and supportive during the entire process. Her desire to make this event memorable and to meet our expectations was evident. A great job Eliza!
    A memory to treasure for Bethany and Kevin, families and friends.
    Thank you to everyone at the Hilton Garden Inn.

    The Hilton Garden Inn was great. The staff listened to our preferences and found little ways to help us get what we wanted within our budget. The catering manager was extremely professional and was able to work with our other vendors to help things run smoothly.

    We had our reception at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Vanderbilt. It was a perfect setting for our event and we were extremely pleased with everything they did from beginning to end. Patti Corn is extremely organized, professional, fun to be with and made the day perfect for us. We highly recommend Patti and the Hilton Garden Inn.

    They treated my family so well and patti corn( she is no longer with them I heard) was a saint to work with. Everything was amazing, and anyone in the Nashville or surrounding areas should really look into working with them. Plus the hotel catered our food and it was amazing. You also get an awesome view of downtown Nashville from the top floor.

    The first time we met with Russell Green was the first time I felt like my daughters wedding reception would be just as she had always dreamed it would be. At that time I also realized that I did not have to do all the work to get it right. Russell made us feel at ease from the beginning. He did an exceptional job with all aspects of the reception. The ballroom was transformed into a winter wonderland. He worked quietly and constantly during the reception to adapt to the problem with more people showing up than had RSVP ed. I don' think the guests even noticed. The venue was great but would never have been so elegant without the professionalism and talent of Russell. This event was so much more than anything we expected. It was well worth the money we spent on the reception.

    Patti Corn and the rest of the staff at Hilton Garden Inn did a fantastic job getting the ballroom decorated and ready for us. Everything looked great and went smoothly. Our guests raved about the food, especially the bacon wrapped filet.

    We used the Hilton Garden Inn as our reception venue. Patti and the rest of the staff were amazing to work with. They were very willing to work with our budget and vision and did everything possible to make our big day perfect. The ballroom is gorgeous and the whole top floor has beautiful views of the city. The food was amazing, too! We couldn't have asked for better service. Everything was perfect!

    The Hilton Garden Inn Vanderbilt was the perfect place for our wedding. The food was amazing and the staff was very helpful. I did have to ask them to change the layout of the room in the morning, but it was done immediately. It was also nice to have our hotel rooms in the same location. I gave them my itinerary and the executed it without a hitch. There were a few minor issues but nothing that was not handled immediately and without problem. Great location, great food, great staff, great views!

    They are very firm on not bringing outside food in. I wasn't even allowed to bring in little mints from my hometown. All their food is delicious though. Very responsive to all communication. Would recommend them to anyone!

    Great vendor. The ballroom is to itself on the top floor and has great views of the city. Patti was wonderful to work with and did her utmost to make everything in the wedding come together as planned. I highly recommend having your event here. Great food and atmosphere. Love having a private floor where random people don't "peek" in to see what's going on. The chairs and table are in great shape and I didn't even use chair covers because the chairs went well with my decor.

    After spending hours with the coordinator planning my reception almost nothing was done as requested. We arrived from our ceremony to be handed a key to a different room. After questioning this we were informed that we had been bumped from the honeymoon suite and put in the “King Corner Room” aka just a room with a king size bed on a different floor.

    I’ll just list the other major issues we had:
    -Decorations were in the wrong places
    -Curtains were closed so it looked super dark even though it was only 3:30
    -Food was split between hot and cold tables and despite having roughly 30 people not show up we still ran out of food at one point.
    -Even after asking multiple times we never got a knife to cut our cake and had to use the pie server that was there for the cheesecake.
    -They refused to pour champagne for toasts until we went up there for the toasts which then left an awkward 5 minuets as we wait for them to pour 14 glasses for our bridal party
    -They started clearing tables before we even had our exit.

    Add to that that the coordinator was absent for most of the night and so it fell on myself and my husband to try to keep track of time and keep things flowing.

    Overall, the ballroom is nice and the food is good but it was definitely not worth the money or stress on our big day! We were too busy trying to keep things going and fix problems to truly get to enjoy just being with our guests.
