Elegant Space and Great Service
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton Netherland Plaza and couldn’t have been happier with how the weekend went. The location is perfect, right downtown and so close to Fountain Square. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful throughout. The food was delicious and well-prepared; we are still receiving compliments about it! But the best parts were all of the people who helped to make our event a success. Roger signed us on and made us feel special with his thoughtfulness. Lisandro and Maureen were amazing banquet captains; they kept everything running smoothly and were very attentive to our wants and needs. But the event was truly a success because of Taylor. She was superb in all that she did: so organized, responsive, helpful, and flexible. She made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout a process that is inherently stressful. She answered my MANY questions and was just all-around an amazing coordinator who was truly fun and a blessing to work with. Absolutely gorgeous venue, you won't regret!
We had our ceremony and reception in the Hall of Mirrors here on 03.23.2019. Devin was amazing throughout the entire process, from the beginning to the tasting to the final meeting and down to the day/evening of! We knew what we wanted and we knew you have to pay for what you want but this venue is worth every single penny. They flipped the ceremony in the Hall of Mirrors to our reception in the Hall of Mirrors in an hour and it was just simply amazing! The communication is excellent all around and it turned out be way more than what we imagined! Blown away! Our guests were blown away by the venue! The amazing food options (they included a menu for our guests also at no additional charge) the awesome white glove service, the setting of each table, the meal presentations, and just the night period! Thank you to everyone at the Hilton Netherland Plaza who helped make this one of the best days of our lives! The amount spent that I've listed includes ceremony fee, three meal choices which includes one vegetarian, 5 hour open bar and one hour cocktail hour, tax and gratuity. Taylor Chubb and her team made our wedding absolutely perfect. The service, food, and bar were unparalleled! The Pavilion Room perfectly accommodated our guests, leaving us plenty of room for dancing and a lounge in the Caprese Suite by the bar. If you are considering this room, keep in mind when you go to see it that it looks completely different with lighting! We set up a block of rooms for our guests at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza this past weekend, and everything exceeded our expectations. Our Sales Manager, Karen, was so helpful and easy to work with. The guest rooms were beautiful and the service was superior. Our guests were thrilled with their stay, which is quite an accomplishment when dealing with a large group of people. Choosing to have our ceremony and reception at the Hilton Netherland Plaza was easily the best decision we made throughout the entire planning process. I live out of town and had to plan everything over the phone or by email. They made this very easy for me and were always quick to respond with an answer. Our original coordinator/catering manager ended up leaving her position, but Taylor Chubb stepped in without missing a beat, and made sure everything was perfect! She is amazing. Weddings can be stressful, but the Hilton is a well-oiled machine that takes so much of the burden off the bride and groom! At first glance, the price seems high, but you have to consider all that is being provided..a catering manager & banquet captain, a suite to get ready in (equipped with mirrors, chairs, tables, a steamer for your dress), an adjoining guest room, a private holding room for the bridal party during cocktail hour with a mini food and drink display, upgraded rooms for the parents, a suite for the bride and groom on the wedding night (stocked with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries), exquisite service, and not to mention the BEST food in town. The Continental Ballroom was perfect for our small-ish wedding of about 110 guests, and is breathtakingly beautiful with the art deco decor. The room flip between the ceremony and the reception was executed perfectly, while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the mezzanine, overlooking the Orchids restaurant (with live jazz music). Many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that is thanks to the Hilton and their excellent service.Sent on 10/15/2015

Wonderful wedding venue! Taylor Chubb was our catering manager we worked with and made the planning process so less stressful! She answered my millions of questions in a very timely and professional manner, and made sure our night was perfect! The Hall of Mirrors was breathtaking when we did the room reveal! The service was impeccable, food delicious, and we had many wonderful comments from our guests about how much they loved it! Great drinks as well! We could not have been happier with our wedding reception at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. Taylor Chubb was our phenomenal catering manager, and she made sure that our every question was not only answered, but in a very timely and professional manner. The Hilton is very detail oriented and they work extremely hard to make sure your every need is met and you are totally satisfied. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel for your wedding reception! We had our wedding in this hotel, in their Hall of Mirrors banquet hall. When we were shopping for wedding venues, we were struck by how beautiful the hotel was and the obvious sincerity, helpfulness, and service-orientation of their staff (specifically, Taylor). We were elated with everything about the experience -- particularly the customer service. From performing services beyond the call of duty (helping the groom procure flowers for parents’ rooms on literally one minute's notice, urgently tracking down a more comfortable pair of shoes for the bride) to coordinating the major parts of the evening (which were all executed without even a hiccup), everything they did for us over the past year — which is a very, very long list of things — blew away our expectations.
The food, service, venue, neighborhood, rooms and everything else were spectacular. Our guests were similarly pleased with their hotel rooms.
We recommend this hotel -- particularly for catering/group events.

The Hall of Mirrors at the Hilton Netherland was always my dream wedding venue, and I was blessed enough to have been able to have my ceremony and reception there! The Hall of Mirrors was the first and only venue my fiance and I looked at for our July 4 wedding. It was so beautiful and unique we just had to have it! Our coordinator at the Hilton (Annette) was the epitome of responsive, professional and knowledgeable. Everything we wanted our wedding reception to be, Annette and the Hilton made it happen. From passing a signature Netherland Plaza cocktail to our guests during the reception to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our bride/groom suite that evening - No detail was overlooked! Guests loved the Hall of Mirrors and the history embedded in the hotel. The food and drinks were also spectacular! The staff at the Hitlon was amazing. We got married this past January  and worked with Marianne. She was beyond attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our ceremony and reception were both in the Hall of Mirrors, so we had to have a room turn. It went off without a hitch, and was gorgeous! The food was AMAZING - and everyone loved it [even the veggie and gluten free meals!] The dinner staff was respectful and courteous. I was not particularly happy with my Catering Sales Manager who I was assigned when we booked with the Hilton. I actually ran into another bride a few weeks before my wedding (getting married the same weekend) & we both discovered we had the same Catering Sales Manager- turns out she was unhappy with her as well. She took too long to respond to emails, was very vague in responses to my questions, & hardly followed through with things she said she would do…just to name a few. She wasn’t even seen the day of the wedding until after the ceremony (which was at 2pm). I understand the Catering Sales Managers are not supposed to be there to hand-hold/make sure the ceremony goes smoothly (that is why we hired coordinators), but it would have been beneficial if she had been there… considering she failed to mention that the door to the hallway she had instructed us to enter through locked from inside the ceremony room. So, there I stood, with my entire bridal party, locked out of my own ceremony- we had to knock on the door & a guest had to run & open it.Sent on 06/19/2012
HOWEVER, that does NOT mean that we did not have a wonderful wedding because we did! Aside from all of the mishaps (forgotten items, getting locked in a hallway, etc) with our Catering Sales Manager, the Hilton was great- from the staff at the front desk to the bellmen (who were so very helpful and accommodating with all of our “wedding junk”- they even ran and hid my wedding dress while it was transported up to the room). The banquet staff who served us the night of the wedding was amazing! Actually, “amazing” doesn’t even describe how wonderful they were…they were better than amazing, they were over-the-top perfection. The two Captains we were assigned were great, always making sure that everything went as planned & let no detail go unnoticed. We were so thankful they were there. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better group of people to be serving us at the wedding.
The food at the reception was so incredible, I still have people talking about how delicious the meals were. We also got the cake from Megan, the Hilton’s Pastry Chef, and it was phenomenal. She did an amazing job on the wedding cake and the groom’s cake (my husband & I are Miami Mergers & he played football there- so she made the Miami University ‘M’ with a little football player sitting on the edge- it was too cute)…she even went so far as to make extra because she knew I loved cake & wanted some to take home.
All in all, we felt that the staff at the Hilton was extremely helpful & customer and service oriented. The wedding was fantastic & I wish I could do it all over again!

When I first walked into the Hilton Netherland Hall of Mirrors I knew I wanted my wedding reception at this location. I have had numerous compliments on the reception and how beautiful it was. It surpassed all my expectations. The catering managers are great, especially Ashley Judy who was my personal contact along with superior catering and deserts. This room is so beauitful, it was the perfect room for my reception. I loved every minute of it. The Hilton was incredible. They had a private room for the wedding party to enjoy cocktail hour before being introduced into the room. Every single thing was perfect at this location! I loved it!!!Sent on 11/08/2011

I cant say enough great things about the Netherland Plaza! We stayed a week for preparations and we were treated like VIPs the whole time. We went with this venue because of its reputaion and stunning beauty and it did not dissapoint. Our pictures were amazing, the art deco beauty was a great complement with our bridal party. They let us go pretty much where ever we wanted for pictures, as long as we were not being obtrusive to other guests.Sent on 08/31/2011

Robin at the Hilton helped make my fairytale wedding come true. There are not enough words to describe the beauty, service, food and professionalism of the staff. Our every need was fulfilled above and beyond our expectations. People are STILL talking about our wedding and it's been two months already. The staff at the Hilton, especially Robin treat you like you are the one and only bride ever to walk into the venue. She makes the extremely stressful and daunting task of planning a wedding seem calming and serene. It's because she knows how to do her job so well that all your fears and anxieties go away when meeting with her. She answers all your questions quickly and calmly and responds to e-mails and phone calls no matter how many times you bother her. Robin pulled off ALL of my ideas and made them her own. I will NEVER forget her or be able to thank her enough. The Hilton is the most amazing place to celebrate the most magical day of your life. My wedding was superb and the Hilton had EVERYTHING to do with that! Your guests will be completely spoiled if you have your wedding there. We worked with Hanna to plan our wedding at the Hall of Mirrors, and Greg was our Captain the night of the wedding. Both individuals were excellent! Hanna captured every detail and was great about adjusting items based on our decisions. She coordinated with each of our vendors the day of the wedding. I didn't have to worry about one thing! Greg was superb. His attentiveness the night of the wedding allowed us to relax and enjoy the night rather then worry about what should happen next. The evening was flawless. The Hilton's service and professionalism is outstanding. The hotel is beautiful, and our guests enjoyed every moment of the weekend! It was definitely worth every penny. We worked with Ashley to plan our May 22, 2010 wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Not only was the Hall of Mirrors ballroom stunning, the staff was first class. Ashley made everything seamless and had everything running on time and everything was in place. As the bride I didn't have to worry about one single thing because I knew Ashley would make it happen. Not only was the room and staff amazing the food was the best! We got so many compliments on the food and the staff...people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. It might be expensive, but it is worth every penny. The service is top notch. There is more included than you could ever wish for included, votives, menus, table number. floor length linens.
