    Elegant and incredible experience!

    We hosted our wedding reception at the Hilton in the Continental Room. The food is fine dining- our guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres and dinner days later. The event space is elegant and incredibly detailed, amazing for photos and ambience. Elizabeth was our coordinator prior to and during the event. She is amazing!! She is responsive, creative, and detail oriented. I planned the wedding from out of town and she really went to great lengths to make the planning process easy on me- right down to FaceTime-ing me during important things like the food tasting so that I could fully take part. I highly recommend hosting your event here.

    Elegant Space and Great Service

    We had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Hilton Netherland Plaza and couldn’t have been happier with how the weekend went. The location is perfect, right downtown and so close to Fountain Square. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful throughout. The food was delicious and well-prepared; we are still receiving compliments about it! But the best parts were all of the people who helped to make our event a success. Roger signed us on and made us feel special with his thoughtfulness. Lisandro and Maureen were amazing banquet captains; they kept everything running smoothly and were very attentive to our wants and needs. But the event was truly a success because of Taylor. She was superb in all that she did: so organized, responsive, helpful, and flexible. She made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout a process that is inherently stressful. She answered my MANY questions and was just all-around an amazing coordinator who was truly fun and a blessing to work with. Thank you to Taylor and the entire Hilton team for making our wedding the perfect event that we dreamed of...we highly recommend having your event here!

    Absolutely gorgeous venue, you won't regret!

    We had our ceremony and reception in the Hall of Mirrors here on 03.23.2019. Devin was amazing throughout the entire process, from the beginning to the tasting to the final meeting and down to the day/evening of! We knew what we wanted and we knew you have to pay for what you want but this venue is worth every single penny. They flipped the ceremony in the Hall of Mirrors to our reception in the Hall of Mirrors in an hour and it was just simply amazing! The communication is excellent all around and it turned out be way more than what we imagined! Blown away! Our guests were blown away by the venue! The amazing food options (they included a menu for our guests also at no additional charge) the awesome white glove service, the setting of each table, the meal presentations, and just the night period! Thank you to everyone at the Hilton Netherland Plaza who helped make this one of the best days of our lives! The amount spent that I've listed includes ceremony fee, three meal choices which includes one vegetarian, 5 hour open bar and one hour cocktail hour, tax and gratuity. This amount DID not include the outside vendors such as lighting, cake, flowers etc. All photos shown are in the Hall of Mirrors.

    Taylor Chubb and her team made our wedding absolutely perfect. The service, food, and bar were unparalleled! The Pavilion Room perfectly accommodated our guests, leaving us plenty of room for dancing and a lounge in the Caprese Suite by the bar. If you are considering this room, keep in mind when you go to see it that it looks completely different with lighting! It is the perfect venue for art deco brides - I wish we could do it all over again!

    We set up a block of rooms for our guests at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza this past weekend, and everything exceeded our expectations. Our Sales Manager, Karen, was so helpful and easy to work with. The guest rooms were beautiful and the service was superior. Our guests were thrilled with their stay, which is quite an accomplishment when dealing with a large group of people. If you are looking for a place for your guests to stay for your wedding weekend, we definitely recommend this hotel!!

    Choosing to have our ceremony and reception at the Hilton Netherland Plaza was easily the best decision we made throughout the entire planning process. I live out of town and had to plan everything over the phone or by email. They made this very easy for me and were always quick to respond with an answer. Our original coordinator/catering manager ended up leaving her position, but Taylor Chubb stepped in without missing a beat, and made sure everything was perfect! She is amazing. Weddings can be stressful, but the Hilton is a well-oiled machine that takes so much of the burden off the bride and groom! At first glance, the price seems high, but you have to consider all that is being provided..a catering manager & banquet captain, a suite to get ready in (equipped with mirrors, chairs, tables, a steamer for your dress), an adjoining guest room, a private holding room for the bridal party during cocktail hour with a mini food and drink display, upgraded rooms for the parents, a suite for the bride and groom on the wedding night (stocked with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries), exquisite service, and not to mention the BEST food in town. The Continental Ballroom was perfect for our small-ish wedding of about 110 guests, and is breathtakingly beautiful with the art deco decor. The room flip between the ceremony and the reception was executed perfectly, while our guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the mezzanine, overlooking the Orchids restaurant (with live jazz music). Many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that is thanks to the Hilton and their excellent service.

    Wonderful wedding venue! Taylor Chubb was our catering manager we worked with and made the planning process so less stressful! She answered my millions of questions in a very timely and professional manner, and made sure our night was perfect! The Hall of Mirrors was breathtaking when we did the room reveal! The service was impeccable, food delicious, and we had many wonderful comments from our guests about how much they loved it! Great drinks as well! The Hilton was very accommodating to our out of town guests and went above and beyond with little extras here and there. Highly recommend this venue!

    Our Wedding was held in the Hall of Mirrors at the Hilton Netherlands Plaza in downtown Cincinnati. As mother of the bride (who does not live in Cincinnati but instead - Pittsburgh) it was stressful deciding not only on venue but on all vendors. After doing considerable research, I must say that my entire team of vendors would have to be considered the "A" team - not only by me but when I told each of them who the other venders were, they repeatedly said: "You have the "A" Team". As for this venue - I do not know why anyone would even consider another place.
    They are highly responsive, each to reach, very professional, and their prices are reasonable!!! THe wedding was top notch - white glove service, 1 server per 2 tables, very attentive to guests, and the food had 0 complaints - it was delicious. We also had a brunch for our out of town guests the day after in their continental room - again, the room was beautiful and the food was delicious. People raved about the venue - it was so gorgeous and we flipped the room. The tie-down meeting was the most professional I ever attended. All the main players were in attendance and shared their ideas. Whatever I wanted to change was not a problem. As I previously stated - nothing can possibly come near this place (and I am very critical)!

    We could not have been happier with our wedding reception at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. Taylor Chubb was our phenomenal catering manager, and she made sure that our every question was not only answered, but in a very timely and professional manner. The Hilton is very detail oriented and they work extremely hard to make sure your every need is met and you are totally satisfied. The room was beautiful, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel for your wedding reception! We loved it!

    The Hall of Mirrors at the Hilton Netherland was always my dream wedding venue, and I was blessed enough to have been able to have my ceremony and reception there! We worked with Taylor, which was one of the greatest things that could've happened to our wedding - she was amazing to work with, calm, and very organized! The staff at the Hilton went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and the art deco style of the hotel speaks for itself, it was beautiful!

    Spectacular Art Deco Wedding with amazing staff, (Ashley Judy), excellent food, gorgeous setting and thrilled guests! Love this beautiful hotel and will definitely use them again!

    We had our wedding in this hotel, in their Hall of Mirrors banquet hall. When we were shopping for wedding venues, we were struck by how beautiful the hotel was and the obvious sincerity, helpfulness, and service-orientation of their staff (specifically, Taylor). The service was a critically important part of our decision to have our wedding reception at the Hilton.

    We were elated with everything about the experience -- particularly the customer service. From performing services beyond the call of duty (helping the groom procure flowers for parents’ rooms on literally one minute's notice, urgently tracking down a more comfortable pair of shoes for the bride) to coordinating the major parts of the evening (which were all executed without even a hiccup), everything they did for us over the past year — which is a very, very long list of things — blew away our expectations.

    The food, service, venue, neighborhood, rooms and everything else were spectacular. Our guests were similarly pleased with their hotel rooms.

    We recommend this hotel -- particularly for catering/group events.

    What a wonderful experience it was to have our daughter and son-in-law's wedding in the Hall of Mirrors. We enjoyed working with Taylor Chubb and the entire staff to plan our special day.

    The Hall of Mirrors was the first and only venue my fiance and I looked at for our July 4 wedding. It was so beautiful and unique we just had to have it! Our coordinator at the Hilton (Annette) was the epitome of responsive, professional and knowledgeable. Everything we wanted our wedding reception to be, Annette and the Hilton made it happen. From passing a signature Netherland Plaza cocktail to our guests during the reception to chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in our bride/groom suite that evening - No detail was overlooked! Guests loved the Hall of Mirrors and the history embedded in the hotel. The food and drinks were also spectacular! A huge THANK YOU to the Hilton for making our wedding day absolutely PERFECT!

    The staff at the Hitlon was amazing. We got married this past January [2013] and worked with Marianne. She was beyond attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Our ceremony and reception were both in the Hall of Mirrors, so we had to have a room turn. It went off without a hitch, and was gorgeous! The food was AMAZING - and everyone loved it [even the veggie and gluten free meals!] The dinner staff was respectful and courteous. I can't say enough about the Hilton - simply the best!

    I was not particularly happy with my Catering Sales Manager who I was assigned when we booked with the Hilton. I actually ran into another bride a few weeks before my wedding (getting married the same weekend) & we both discovered we had the same Catering Sales Manager- turns out she was unhappy with her as well. She took too long to respond to emails, was very vague in responses to my questions, & hardly followed through with things she said she would do…just to name a few. She wasn’t even seen the day of the wedding until after the ceremony (which was at 2pm). I understand the Catering Sales Managers are not supposed to be there to hand-hold/make sure the ceremony goes smoothly (that is why we hired coordinators), but it would have been beneficial if she had been there… considering she failed to mention that the door to the hallway she had instructed us to enter through locked from inside the ceremony room. So, there I stood, with my entire bridal party, locked out of my own ceremony- we had to knock on the door & a guest had to run & open it.
    HOWEVER, that does NOT mean that we did not have a wonderful wedding because we did! Aside from all of the mishaps (forgotten items, getting locked in a hallway, etc) with our Catering Sales Manager, the Hilton was great- from the staff at the front desk to the bellmen (who were so very helpful and accommodating with all of our “wedding junk”- they even ran and hid my wedding dress while it was transported up to the room). The banquet staff who served us the night of the wedding was amazing! Actually, “amazing” doesn’t even describe how wonderful they were…they were better than amazing, they were over-the-top perfection. The two Captains we were assigned were great, always making sure that everything went as planned & let no detail go unnoticed. We were so thankful they were there. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better group of people to be serving us at the wedding.
    The food at the reception was so incredible, I still have people talking about how delicious the meals were. We also got the cake from Megan, the Hilton’s Pastry Chef, and it was phenomenal. She did an amazing job on the wedding cake and the groom’s cake (my husband & I are Miami Mergers & he played football there- so she made the Miami University ‘M’ with a little football player sitting on the edge- it was too cute)…she even went so far as to make extra because she knew I loved cake & wanted some to take home.
    All in all, we felt that the staff at the Hilton was extremely helpful & customer and service oriented. The wedding was fantastic & I wish I could do it all over again!

    When I first walked into the Hilton Netherland Hall of Mirrors I knew I wanted my wedding reception at this location. I have had numerous compliments on the reception and how beautiful it was. It surpassed all my expectations. The catering managers are great, especially Ashley Judy who was my personal contact along with superior catering and deserts. This room is so beauitful, it was the perfect room for my reception. I loved every minute of it. The Hilton was incredible. They had a private room for the wedding party to enjoy cocktail hour before being introduced into the room. Every single thing was perfect at this location! I loved it!!!

    I cant say enough great things about the Netherland Plaza! We stayed a week for preparations and we were treated like VIPs the whole time. We went with this venue because of its reputaion and stunning beauty and it did not dissapoint. Our pictures were amazing, the art deco beauty was a great complement with our bridal party. They let us go pretty much where ever we wanted for pictures, as long as we were not being obtrusive to other guests.
    Thank you for making our wedding day amazing.

    The food, wine, and service were absolutely outstanding! There is a reason why Orchids has won #1 Cincinnati Restaurant for 3 consecutive years...We coordinated the reception dinner with Maitre d' Charles Redmond and coordinated the cake/dessert with Pastry Chef Megan Ketover, both were very accomodating, very professional and a pleasure to work with.

    Robin at the Hilton helped make my fairytale wedding come true. There are not enough words to describe the beauty, service, food and professionalism of the staff. Our every need was fulfilled above and beyond our expectations. People are STILL talking about our wedding and it's been two months already. The staff at the Hilton, especially Robin treat you like you are the one and only bride ever to walk into the venue. She makes the extremely stressful and daunting task of planning a wedding seem calming and serene. It's because she knows how to do her job so well that all your fears and anxieties go away when meeting with her. She answers all your questions quickly and calmly and responds to e-mails and phone calls no matter how many times you bother her. Robin pulled off ALL of my ideas and made them her own. I will NEVER forget her or be able to thank her enough. The Hilton is the most amazing place to celebrate the most magical day of your life. My wedding was superb and the Hilton had EVERYTHING to do with that! Your guests will be completely spoiled if you have your wedding there. They will not be able to stop commenting on the service and beauty of the hotel Thank you again!

    We worked with Ashley to plan our May 22, 2010 wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Not only was the Hall of Mirrors ballroom stunning, the staff was first class. Ashley made everything seamless and had everything running on time and everything was in place. As the bride I didn't have to worry about one single thing because I knew Ashley would make it happen. Not only was the room and staff amazing the food was the best! We got so many compliments on the food and the staff...people said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! We would highly recommend the Hilton Netherland Plaza to anyone because it made our wedding a fairytale come true :)

    We worked with Hanna to plan our wedding at the Hall of Mirrors, and Greg was our Captain the night of the wedding. Both individuals were excellent! Hanna captured every detail and was great about adjusting items based on our decisions. She coordinated with each of our vendors the day of the wedding. I didn't have to worry about one thing! Greg was superb. His attentiveness the night of the wedding allowed us to relax and enjoy the night rather then worry about what should happen next. The evening was flawless. The Hilton's service and professionalism is outstanding. The hotel is beautiful, and our guests enjoyed every moment of the weekend! It was definitely worth every penny. Our friends and family are still talking about our wedding!

    As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. It might be expensive, but it is worth every penny. The service is top notch. There is more included than you could ever wish for included, votives, menus, table number. floor length linens. If I had reason to have another event there I would in a hear beat....The fact that the hotel is gorgeous is just one more perk!

    Robyn was such a treat to work with. From the first day of meeting with us to show us the Hall of Mirrors, to the wedding day! Doing everything professionally and timely. And flexible beyond expectations. Like finding a wheelchair on a moments notice! Thanks Robyn!
    There is no other venue like the spectacular Hall of Mirrors! We had the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception there, clockwork!!!

    Yes it is pricey but no one will ever hear me complain...worth every dollar.

    Lyn and her staff at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza were fantastic!!! The hotel is just gorgeous and has so much charm! The room and the food were incredible!!! They made the night go so smooth. I definitely recommend this venue to anyone getting married!

    Karen the sales director is the best person I have worked with for my wedding so far!!She is fast at returning emails/phone calls and making sure you are happy with everything!! I can not wait for my stay at this hotel! They are one of the top rated Hilton Hotels in the US and if their sales team reflects the rest of the hotel than there is no question on why.

    We purchased the wedding package for a Hall of Mirrors wedding. Most everything you need for an elegant affair is first class and included in the package: linen, delicious and gorgeous food, good bar stock and very attentive wedding planning and service folks. We did add a "wine pour" with dinner, and lighting by Goodwin. A great number of our guests stayed at the hotel.....grand experience as well. Helpful Hilton people transported the flowers into the refrigerator for the next day wedding brunch in the Continental Room.

    I got married on New Year\'s Eve and we wanted a unique venue that could stand alone with little decoration needed. The Hilton Netherland Plaza is a beautiful hotel and many of our guest raved about the art deco decor. This is definitely more on the pricey side of the venues around here, but when you compare what you get as part of the package to what you would have to do to make other venues equally as spectacular, it was an easy choice for us. We used Goodwin Lighting to light the Hall of Mirrors for the Reception and there really is no better company for the job. They are pros! The Continental room was simply stunning with no chair covers, aisle runners, or huge flower arrangements. The room\'s beauty on it\'s own is all you need. The food was fantastic and we got many compliments. We opted for food stations and displays rather than the sit down dinner. The staff was always more than accommodating and coordinated with all of our vendors so we didn\'t have to. There are always a few small things that go wrong when planning an event of this nature, but the end result was still a night I know that we will always remember. It is also a great place to imagine spending many anniversaries in the future.

    The staff at the Hilton was very professional and the food was exceptional. They coordinated with my other vendors and made the day very easy for me. I was able to be stress free when it came to how my reception would turn out

    The Hilton took care of many of the details, so I knew I could relax on the day of the wedding, and I knew I was in good hands.

    We had our ceremony and reception in the continental room. They did a great job of switching it over in a short period of time. It was the perfect size for our wedding (110 people). Every last detail was taken care of. My husband and I, as well as my parents, could not be happier with our choice of venues. Everyone loved it, and we had a great, stress-free wedding.

    Nothing but 5-star service from the Hilton the day of our wedding. Although the specific event planner we were assigned didn't seem to have the excitement/enthusiasm for our event that we had hoped, she was thorough and responsive.

    If you want a venue with incredible service, great attention to detail, and INCREDIBLE food, the Hilton is the hands-down best choice!

    Although you may initially think the Hilton too pricey, they package many things together (catering, centerpiece mirrors/candles, table numbers, hotel accommodations, event planning, etc.), which can save you in the long run!

    The Hilton Netherland Plaza Continental Ballroom was the first thing we decided on about our wedding. Their fully restored art deco space was the ideal for our non-traditional wedding. We looked at dozens of "reception" sites which were really just overblown conference rooms - the Hilton was precisely the grace and elegance we were looking for. We were paired with Robyn Jones as a wedding coordinator; we must have fired back and forth a hundred emails between us, and she was always incredibly on the ball with everything, and never overwhelmed with our non-traditional requests. We also had our entire wedding party, family, and friends stay at the Hilton the entire weekend, and the staff was amazing - anything we wanted was ours. The valet, the catering staff, the front desk staff were all above-and-beyond professional and hospitable. We didn't think service like that existed anymore! In addition to the Continental Ballroom, which seats 100-200 people, they also have two other equally gorgeous spaces that seat more. I can not imagine having done our wedding anywhere else in the world.

    This is the most beautiful hotel I have seen. The ballrooms are great. We had the Continental Ballroom, and it was absolutely gorgeous, even with no special lighting, no chair covers, and no garlands or flowers.
    We had our ceremony there, then had a cocktail reception on the mezzanine area, then had the reception sit-down served dinner in the Continental room as well.
    The Hilton took care of all of the set-up, working with our florist, photographer, officiant, and DJ, to make everything run smoothly.
    It is expensive, but it is the best value I have seen among the more expensive places in town. They will tailor the expenses to what you want. They will make sure they have vegetarian items if you want them, and they can accommodate allergies too.
    They allow lots of flexibility, and all of your guests can stay in the hotel if they want to.
    It is very convenient to be right in downtown, with Fountain Square outside your window, and the mall next door, in case someone forgets their shoes...I am very glad we chose to have our wedding there.

    Gail was a great planner to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure we received what we requested for our special day. Our guests are still talking about our wedding and the food. The food here is superb. This venue is expensive, however, it is worth it. We recommend this venue.

    I walked into the Netherland Plaza and knew I wanted to get married there, but knew it would also be stretching my budget. Fortunately, we got married in an off season which was a big help with the budget. Also, the coordinators were very understanding about our budget, and tried to get us the best value for our price range. This place is gorgeous- the lobby, the venues (we got married and had our reception in the Continental Ballroom). The suite for the girls to get ready in was giant! There were 8 of us and all had plenty of space to get ready. We went through some employee changes during the wedding planning, so Walter came in later in the process. He was amazing! Always willing to answer calls or emails... and there were a lot, since I like to be in control. He was there to help us through the day of the wedding, and into the reception as well. If there were any times that Walter wouldn't be present, he made sure we met the employees we may need. These people mean business! They do whatever they can to make you happy. They are very professional, always prepared, and always put together. Also, the food was delicious. I'm not a vegetarian, but I went with the ravioli in red pepper sauce for my meal, and loved every bite. My guests were wowed by the location and the food. I have no regrets.

    The Hall of Mirrors is by far THE place to have your wedding and reception. I started out thinking it only for my ceremony, but after talking with Heather I was immediately convinced that I needed to have both at the location. It offers old world class and European sophisitcation with a touch of the modern conveniences we all love. Historically it is a masterpiece and a great talking point for you and your guests. The service is impeccable. Anything that was needed was delivered and it was always "Yes, we will take care of it." The day of the wedding my husband needed a breath mint and the Catering captain got them from his own desk! We had some delay with getting responses from our contact because we had to deal mostly via e-mail, but there was not one thing that we requested or asked that was not answered or done for us. We loved having everything right there, including sleeping arrangements. It truly is a spectacular venue and we were able to have the wedding we've always dreamed of because they were willing to work with us on removing or adding in the things that made the most sense.

    Unlike others who have written reviews, ours was definately NOT a story-book ending. I chose this venue due to its historic significance and "supposed" best-of-the-best venue. Although Katie and her service staff were very good, the planning staff was "Sub-standard" at best. There were far too many "missed cues" to even mention in an e-mail - even when they were documented in the "tie-down" meeting. In fact, I refused to make an additional payment due to their mistakes. They didnt deliver the Out-of-town Gift boxes, they didnt put down our table decor, the bar was not ready for my guests - even though I purchased Top Shelf liquor - they were pouring "well" drinks - until I caught them and made them switch to the Top shelf that I ordered! We were told that other weddings would not interfere, yet we found half a dozen wedding crashers at our wedding, we were told we couldnt get our photos taken on the balcony - yet others did! More than that, I didn't even receive an apology from anyone, including the General Manager of the property- which, in my opinion, is repulsive - especially since Im a GOLD Hilton Honors member. For the money, many other vendors in the area DEFINATELY would have been a better choice!

    We booked a block of rooms for out of town guests and a suite for the bridal party to get ready in. The staff was excellent while the management were appalling. They even double charged our credit cards resulting in $500 overpayment and credit card fees. We did not get compensated for the additional fees incurred nor did we get an apology for the inconvenience. Further, management uses an excuse of "this is how we've always done things" rather than try to make a brides day perfect. They definitely don't go out of their way to help make your day special.
