Boston Park Plaza is a dream venue! Within days of being engaged, we reached out to Boston Park Plaza to book our date - it was our first and best decision we ever made! We literally only looked one venue as our top choice, and it was Boston Park Plaza. My husband and I got married there December 2022 and we could not have had a better experience and more perfect wedding day! From start to finish Michaela Ross and Chris Shimkus made our planning experience an absolute joy! Michaela was our primary contact and she is so incredibly organized, thoughtful, kind, professional, and incredibly helpful on every aspect of wedding planning. She is extremely responsive, clear, and concise in her communication and that was invaluable to us. The team at BPP is always available on the other end of an email or phone call. I will honestly miss the planning process because they made it such a pleasant and fun experience! The venue itself is STUNNING. Being in the Ballroom makes you feel like royalty. Upon entering our reception in the Grand Ballroom, we could hear all of our guests literally gasp in awe of how beautiful the space was! My husband and I along with our guests were so impressed on every level with Boston Park Plaza. The food, the beauty, the high quality service – everything exceeded our expectations. We had every part of our wedding on site at Boston Park Plaza – room block, welcome drinks, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and everything went so smoothly! There is something to be said about having the ease of everything under one roof, and Boston Park Plaza is the perfect spot! We are so happy with how everything went and we would recommend BPP to everyone in search of the perfect venue! Thank you Boston Park Plaza!! -

From the moment we met with Kelsey Wilkinson in August 2021 we knew no other venue would do for our special day. Kelsey made the entire process enjoyable & stress free. She was always so calm & reassuring that I had zero worries/concerns about the venue delivering what they said they would. Kelsey was always on top of every detail & incredibly responsive. On the day of my husband & I decided to attend the cocktail hour & Carol made sure that everytime she came out with hors d'oeuvres she made a beeline to me to assure I ate. When it was time for dinner Reggie not only remembered us from our tasting months prior but was super attentive to us making sure we were happy with our meal & our cups were never empty. Chef was so kind to remember my FIL's weird obsession with needing tortillas with every meal & made some for him! The entire staff at Boston Park Plaza were such a pleasure to work with & made our wedding day so special. It was absolutely perfect & happened without any snags (still can't believe it went so well). All of our guests were impressed & very happy. Thank you!!! -

Lovely venue & team at Park Plaza
When my husband and I began looking at venues in Boston we knew we wanted a space large enough to fit 200 guests and a venue that felt elegant and timeless. During our tour with Kelsey Wilkinson at the Park Plaza we not only fell in love with the ballroom but also with Kelsey!! She shared that a date in October just opened up (7 months from then) and she would help us every step of the way to achieve our dream wedding in such a short time! Kelsey did NOT disappoint, she helped coordinate our ceremony in the Georgian room, the cocktail hour, reception and our Sunday farewell brunch. She was extremely responsive and worked closely with us to curate the bar and food selection to meet our unique and specific needs! 2 months later we are still receiving phone calls from guest raving about the cocktail hour carving station, lamb lollipops, and sushi station! No detail was overlooked, Kelsey even setup mirrors and high chairs in our bridal suite. Overall the staff was wonderful, by the end of the weekend we felt like we knew them for years. As a bride I wasn’t bothered once throughout the day about anything, the vendors we assembled plus Kelsey and the Park Plaza team truly achieved what we thought was impossible in 7 short months!
My ONLY feedback is we heard from some guests staying at the hotel that they didn’t receive their welcome bags. A little pro tip: if you choose to stay in the Garden Suite (which is STUNNING) to work with your reservation expert to assign either your bridal party or family to the 3 other rooms on the 4th floor if they’re available! And if you need a gorgeous spot for a first look with family or friends the Garden Suite patio is a perfect spot! Thank you Kelsey and the Park Plaza for a weekend we will never forget. We can’t wait to visit for our 1 year anniversary! -

A Magical Day
We can’t say enough amazing things about Thr Park Plaza! We had a beautiful wedding on July 9th. Our guests are still talking about it. The Park Plaza is so beautiful. The ballroom is breath taking! The service was amazing. It was elegant but also really fun! Our wedding coordinator helped us so much! When we arrived to check in she met us in the lobby and quickly organized us and set our minds at ease. She was amazing. The food was delicious! Every detail was taken care of! We are so grateful to have chosen Patk Plaza for our special day. -

The absolute best venue
I could write a 10-page essay about how amazing Boston Park Plaza was as a venue. When we got engaged my husband and I decided we really wanted a hotel ballroom wedding, I feel like we went to every hotel in Boston, then we’d make a pros and cons list and discuss if we can overlook the cons. When we went to Park Plaza, we walked out of our first meeting with Michaela looked at each other and both said “there are no cons to this place” and never looked back. Being a covid bride I did have to switch my date and the team at Park Plaza was so responsive and understanding they gave us a ton of options and switched our date with absolutely no issue, they also helped accommodate our ever-changing room block because we didn’t know how many people to expect during the time.
Not only is the whole feel and look of the ballroom and hotel absolutely incredible but Michaela Ross, the event manager, was beyond amazing, an actual super hero, she understood my vision and executed everything exactly how I wanted and gave helpful recommendations, she was never pushy or judgmental and any question I had she responded right away. We built a giant flower wall and Michaela helped us put it all together, she checked in with me throughout the entire night making sure everything was going well, I absolutely love this girl. The chef there was just top notch every one, still now 3 months later, raved about the food and how it was the best food they ever had at any event ever, they could not get over how every side and course was freshly prepared and still warm. Boston Park Plaza was the best choice, they really gave me the wedding reception of my dreams and I could not have been happier with everyone who made my day so special. -

Erin Sent on 11/22/2017We had our wedding at Park Plaza in Fall 2017 and it was AMAZING! The ballroom is absolutely stunning and the service our 180 guests received was top notch for our big day! Special thanks to the planner Adrianna for working alongside us for a year to plan and execute every detail perfectly. We wanted to customize almost all of our wedding elements and Adrianna helped create a custom menu, donut/dessert display and was essential in almost all of the design aspects such as rental furniture, lounge & SO SO much more! . My husband and I are very grateful we had someone like Adrianna to make our vision come to life! We had our entire wedding on site at Park Plaza (ceremony in Georgian, cocktail in Ballroom B, reception in Grand Ballroom) and a room block for our family and friends. It all worked seamlessly! It also rained on our wedding day and it didn't even matter because not only is the ballroom beyond beautiful but the modern renovations to the hotel gave us endless options for photos. Samantha Sent on 11/07/2016Our wedding was August 6, 2016, and we could not have asked for a more stunning venue with incredible people. Adrianna went above and beyond, and her team was the best. The whole night everything was taken care of. Our family and friends still cannot stop talking about how floored they were with the food, people, and of course the ballroom. We could not have done this without Adrianna. She gave recommendations for all of our vendors, and every one of them blew us away. She is truly the best! The Park Plaza is hands down the most phenomenal wedding venue. We could not have dreamed of more! -

We selected Boston Park Plaza for our hotel block due to its location and price offered for our guests. It was the perfect spot. The hotel lobby is beautiful, and the rooms were good. The bridal suite was fantastic. However, we had pain point after pain points with the staff, including the sales managers responsible for our hotel block. We had guests who were told on multiple occasions that the block was full and denied them a reservation - it was not full. We had guests that booked but weren't added to the block. When I asked to add them, they said they did, only to find out a few weeks later in looking at an updated report, they never added the guest. We had the block change hands multiple times, the contract template was outdated and after signing, they told us they wouldn't grant a certain price, etc etc. When we tried to request early check-in (bride and groom), they told us for 5 hours the room would be ready soon. Finally at 2:40 we had to request a room change because our room still wasn't ready (regular check in is at 3pm) and all our guests were arriving. It was infuriating. We loved the hotel, but the staff was a headache.
