Awesome Experience

From the first email, Hillary was super responsive and engaging. Planning a wedding was very overwhelming and all the photographers my venue recommended were way out of our budget. Most offered varying packages with different time allotments the photographer would give you for the day - how am I supposed to know how many hours I would need for all aspects of our event documented?! Hillary gives you one set price for the entire day starting with pre-ceremony photos while you’re getting ready, until she feels there isn’t anything else to photograph (in our case she and her assistant packed up shortly before we did which was perfect). The sneak peek photos are gorgeous and we can’t wait to see the rest. And she’s a super fun person who calmed me down day of when the weather forecast was less than ideal.
Coming from this very picky person, I highly recommend Hillary!

More than I could have asked for!

I cannot recommend Hillary enough! I had warned her before our engagement photo session that I was a little nervous and would need lots of coaching, but when I met her, all of my nerves went away. She was warm and funny – and made me feel so comfortable. We ended up postponing our wedding due to the pandemic, and I was again nervous that after 2 years – the connection we had formed during the engagement shoot would be gone but that's not at all what happened! Again, on the day of our wedding when I was feeling anxious she was so calm and professional, while also throwing in some jokes to make me laugh and help ease the nerves.

That was enough on its own, but then we got the pictures! It was like we got to relive that magical day all over again. She knew exactly which moments to capture and how, and makes it so difficult to pick a *favorite* because there are just SO MANY good pictures. She even sent us a care package with a framed picture – which we now have on our mantel.

I was so happy to learn that she not only does weddings but also family pictures! This is great because I look forward to working with her again in the future.

Amazing Photographer

We are so happy that we chose Hillary for our wedding photography. The quality of our photos is amazing. She was super helpful during the planning process & great on our weeding day. It felt like having a friend with us. Even after the wedding day she kept us posted on the progress. ❤️

Hillary is amazing

We are so happy that we chose Hillary as the photographer for our big day. From the beginning she was so professional and fun to work with. She worked with our budget and timeline and was great at communicating leading up to the day. She brought her assistant Eunice with her and they were so fun to have with us and made everything exciting on the big day. They are both so funny and we loved having them with us. I am also so impressed with their awesome ideas for photos and how they got in to take a lot of photos for each part of the day. I would highly recommend Hillary for your wedding or even family portraits or engagement photos. She is a joy to work with!

Absolutely amazing photography experience!

My husband and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding we came across Hillary and she just made sense! She is extremely passionate about her work and does a great job capturing great moments and all the details in her work. We chose Hillary for our engagement photos as well as our special day and could not be happier with our decision! She and her assistant Connor were so great to work with!

We had a wonderful experience with Hillary and her team (Adam was her second photographer for our wedding). She is friendly, fun, accommodating, and has a great eye for detail. Our wedding photos are beautiful and there are so many, I'm still trying to figure out how I'll decide on my favorites for prints and album.

When we were trying to decide on a photographer for our engagement photos as well as our wedding, we looked at many photographers work online & met with a few of them in person. There were a few whose work we liked, but something felt off. The first time we met Hillary, we knew that she was the one. Her photography is like the work of an artist. She studied photography in school and has many years of experience. She is incredibly talented & professional, yet chill & super fun to be around. She certainly made us feel right at home. You definitely want someone you feel comfortable with that matches your personality shooting your wedding photos! We were given this advice prior to selecting our photographer, but I had no idea how important this was initially. I was so nervous the morning of our wedding that I was almost having panic attacks. Hillary definitely helped keep me calm by making me laugh, which helped calm my nerves! She not only helped keep me calm, but worked well alongside other vendors to keep everyone on track.

During our engagement shoot, we had so much fun taking pictures that the time passed by so quickly! We were absolutely blown away by her talent when we first viewed our engagement photos. Recently, we received our wedding preview & were so impressed with how they turned out! We cannot wait to see the rest of our photos from the BIG day! So many people have complimented Hillary's photos already! A few of our friends & family are already interested in working with Hillary after meeting her at our wedding and seeing her work! We plan to book a time with her for future photo sessions including anniversary as well as baby pictures after we start our family! We highly Highly HIGHLY recommend Hillary Ferguson Photography! We PROMISE you will not be disappointed!

Hillary and her assistant were such a joy to have photograph our wedding in October 2017. They captured our day beautifully and we had so much fun working with them! Hillary did a faboulous job for my wedding photos. Very attentive and professional. Plus she has a great personality, which was enjoyable on my wedding day. Following the wedding she shared a couple preview pictures with me right away which was awesome, and she was also quick for getting all the photos to me. There were so many great photos! I am very pleased with the quality of work. She even asked if I was interested in being in the Columbus Weddings magazine, in which she submitted photos for! Not only am I featured in the magazine, but Hillary went the extra step to send me a view copies of the magazine. This was so thoughtful! ...if I had to do my wedding over, I would pick Hillary again!!!!

We first met Hillary at a bridal show in Columbus and then sat down with her at her home to get to know eachother and discuss details. Hillary is super fun to work with and made us feel very comfortable. We did our engagement shoot with Hillary to practice and she was very supportive and directive, as we did not know what we were doing. She was also very receptive and excited to work with our dog. Hillary helped to navigate our wedding day and was intregral in creating a time line. Our wedding pictures were beautiful and even a year later we are still getting compliments on them. We enjoyed her do much that she is now going ro do our newboen photos!

I loved Hillary from the moment I met her. She has such a welcoming vibe, which was important to me since she would be capturing one of the most intimate moments of my life. Hillary Ferguson is simply an amazing photographer. We are so glad we booked with her to shoot our wedding! Hillary is fun to work with while being an absolute professional, at all times. She knows how to shoot the best angles, with the perfect lighting, for absolutely great shots. Her communications with you are responsive and detailed. Hillary takes your ideas, as well as her insight and turns them into beautiful memories, in photos. Hillary has great vision, for what will make an amazing photos. We received a 20 shot wedding photo preview about a week after our wedding and were astounded by the beauty of the photos. Hillary was absolutely amazing and so fun to work with! We hired her after receiving our engagement photos back from our original photographer. We broke our contract and found Hillary. I was apprehensive after our experience with our original photographer but right from the beginning she put me at ease. She's great to get along with and talk to. And she's very responsive! She made the day so fun and even got in the photobooth and had her picture taken! She was so much fun to hang out with. We've received a preview of some of the photos and they are amazing! We can't wait to get the rest and we'll definitely be using her for future family photos. She was just absolutely wonderful and was so easy to work with!

We were referred to Hillary by one of my husband's coworkers. I am so thankful for that introduction! Hillary was awesome. She is so talented with her photography but she is also so much fun to work with! She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding pictures. From first meeting her to our wedding day Hillary was organized, professional and incredibly responsive. She even suggested the idea of a "shot list" and a timeline so that our day would move quickly and efficiently. Hillary and her assistant rode on the trolley with us and took pictures on there as well. Our group was a little rowdy and they laughed along with everyone else and got some great pictures of us all having fun. They even recommended some of the places we stopped for pictures. Another bonus about Hillary: SHE'S PET FRIENDLY :) She brought toys and treats for our dogs because she knew we wanted them in some of our pictures. When the pictures came in we were in awe. She captures so many intimate moments and pictures where the sun was shining just right. I honestly could not have been happier with Hillary and her crew!!!!!

When I got engaged and started planning my wedding I was overwhelmed with the amount of photographers there are to choose from. I took to social media and started looking through some of my friend’s wedding pictures. When I came across a friend whose wedding pictures had been done by Hillary, I knew I wanted to set up a meeting with her. Hillary’s pictures are not only phenomenal, but also creative. Once my husband and I met Hillary, we knew our search was over. Not only were all of the pictures she showed us gorgeous, but she is just in general a really awesome down to earth person. Some of the best advice I got when choosing a photographer was to choose someone that not only does quality work, but would also be someone you would want to hang out with because you’ll be spending the majority of your day with them. I can’t say enough about Hillary and her assistant! They took amazing photos and were so great and easy to work with. They captured our day and personalities perfectly. Highly recommend!

Hillary is an exceptional photographer. She is professional, organized, and great to work with. We received our DVD of pictures about two months after the wedding, and the pictures are amazing. She works with an assistant, so they get many candid shots and pictures from every angle. I would highly recommend booking her for your wedding; it is the best money we spent on the big day!

Hillary was incredibly responsive, flexible, professional, and friendly. After working with Hillary for both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures, we are incredibly pleased. Hillary was a fantastic partner to work with for our wedding. She and her assistant, Sam, were professional and at the same time a lot of fun! They were great both at the wedding and reception - not intrusive at all, which I have found is not always the case with wedding photographers. Hillary was very flexible with the schedule and working around changes in the timing, etc. Overall a wonderful experience and we would use her again!

My husband and I chose Hillary Ferguson for a few reasons. First, she was very responsive, polite and very laid-back from the moment we met her. She seemed very genuine and trustworthy, not to mention her pictures on her web site and her photo books that she showed us were great. She is also one of the cheaper photographers that we found. With our budget we wanted to stay below $2,500. On the wedding day, Hilliary and her assistant Sam were so much fun! They made everyone feel comfortable and our guests enjoyed being around them while they were snapping pictures. Only 1 week after the wedding Hillary puts up a "sneak peak" of pictures on her Facebook that are edited to see some of her favorite shots. All of the pictures looked great and now I can't wait to see the rest of the photo's! I would recommend Hillary and can't say enough good things about her and her abilities!

We interviewed many photographers before we finally agreed to hire Hillary, and I"m thrilled that we did. She really listened to us, she understood our vision, and our photos are perfect. They capture our personalities, and spirit of our guests, and the photos are everything we dreamed of. Most importantly, Hillary was a delight to work with. She really cared about documenting our wedding and giving us what we wanted. Hillary is awesome, you'll love her!

Hillary is the best photographer I have worked with! She did both the engagement pictures and our wedding day and was very professional, detail oriented, and easy to work with. Sam is equally as awesome and fantastic at herding cats (aka, family and friends for group pics:) I'm using her every chance I get..maybe in awhile when we decide to have a little one.....she is definitely a photographer you would want to continue to use after the wedding. Not every photographer has the eye for it, but Hillary and Sam could literally make a wedding at a state prison look gorgeous. Best money spent!

Hillary and Sam were great to work with for our wedding! We got a lot of great pictures, and they worked really well with everyone involved. Hillary and Sam are professional but fun, and they really helped put us at ease on the wedding day. I loved that we got so many pictures to choose from - there are so many priceless photos of our friends and family :) I would strongly recommend Hillary Ferguson Photography - she photographed our wedding like it was her own, and she was always concerned about what we wanted out of our pictures. Great job Hillary!

Hiliary was our best spent money on the Wedding. Hiliary and er assistant Sam did my Wedding on 10-10-10.
Hiliary was very professional. All of the family and friends that were at the Wedding loved Hiliary and still ask about her to this day. She never missed a shot and because of her and her talents I will alsways have her to thank for My Wedding Memories...After the food and people leave the best memories you will remember will come from the pictures and Hiliary knows how to capture those precious moments.
Hiliary always held her appointments and committments with me for the Wedding and she was always on time. She was very friendly and got along with everyone at the Wedding and all of the other vendors.
There is not one reason why she should not be your photographer for any event.

Hillary was awesome! She and Sam did a fantastic job with both the ceremony, getting ready and reception photos...plus, they were tons of fun! She has a very modern style and having two photographers was a huge plus for us. Thanks for the great work!

Hillary Ferguson Photography did an amazing job for our wedding in Dublin Oh. We got married on Labor Day weekend in 2010 which is a very busy wedding weekend. Unlike other photographers who give you a time frame for pictures, Hillary was completely flexible on times and was with us all day. As so many people say, your wedding day will really fly by so I greatly appreciated that every laugh, cry and dance move was capture. I look at our ablum feeling like I lived the day over again. The pictures taken really brought out all of our personalities. It truly was so much fun having them apart of our wedding! I will definately be going back to them for our photography needs in the future.

When I started shopping for a wedding photographer I was very overwhelmed and nervous. In my mind it was the most important decision of the wedding, besides the groom and the dress. Wedding photos are the only keepsake of memories you will have 30 years down the road. So, it had to be good! I am a scientist and approached my task in a systematic logical fashion. I reviewed at least 50 photographers having my mom, now husband, friend, and myself judge the quality, creativity, editing, lighting, composition, style, personality, and price. Hillary outdistanced everyother photographer in all catagories reviewed. Trust me, I am not just saying this because she is awesome (Sam too) only from a very analytical stand point. The photos we recieved were amazying, best I have ever seen (I am really trying not to be biased because it was my wedding). Even all the other weddings she shoot are amazing. Everyone looks very natural and happy. She captured our personality and the joy of the day. I think I saw Sam tear up when I came down the aisle. Every moment was captured beautifully. So, if your still reading. Choose Hillary you won't be sorry. She is not pushy, or give off the vibe of a used car salesman, she is professional, and listens well. Wow. She could totally charge more for what you get.

I felt like I looked at every photographer in Columbus before finding Hillary. There truly are countless talented individuals in Columbus that picking a photographer was probably the most difficult decision. Hillary was a perfect fit for us though. Her photographic style is exactly what we were looking for, and she was always willing to hear any ideas we had for pictures. Plus, she has a great personality – taking our pictures really just felt like I was hanging out with a friend. She is very talented, and very patient – this was proven when our engagement photos came back and our dog appeared well-behaved (he was terrible), and my husband looked comfortable in front of the camera (not channeling Chandler Bing).
