Second Wedding Reception here!
Kim with the Reception planning was amazing. She is very professional, and even though this is our second time reserving this place for a wedding reception - there have been improvements! The temperature was perfect even in August and we will definitely book again for the next one. We had to change the reception date a few months early and she made it so easy for us, as we had enough stress changing everything - she was awesome! Thank you Kim!! Our hostess was amazing, even accommodating us with an aux cord which we forgot! And to start off she offered to play some reception music before we had our own to plug in. We appreciated everything this venue had to offer. It’s so beautiful and decorations can be minimal yet still being so romantic. We will see you all next time! :)Sent on 09/23/2019

Highland Gardens made my wedding a dream come true. We received comments from every guest about the breathtaking beauty and romance that the event center holds. Absolutely AMAZING! The best way to describe them on their service is they make it simple. They include as much as possible. They had just about every decoration I needed (included in my cost) and they set up and clean up. They completely accommodate to your needs. You also get the location for the full day! I loved having my reception here. They charge one rate for the whole place for the whole day. It is breathtaking and the space is so easy to work with it. The staff was so helpful and gave up tips that they had found helpful. It was a perfect evening. We had a ring ceremony and they didn't charge us extra for that room. Seriously so simple to decorate, super accessible to guests, and everything we were looking for! I loved it!!Sent on 04/09/2015

Highland Garden's was incredible! The provided everything we needed to make our reception absolutely gorgeous. They even offered insight into what couples had done in the past to make everything stunning. We were married in Hawaii and had a reception in Utah a few weeks later. I was looking for a secret garden type theme for my wedding. Highland gardens gave me exactly what I was looking for a so much more. Shelly and the staff were beyond amazing. They were there for me every step of the way and made sure that my special day was a dream come true. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue with a more attentive staff. This is a fabulous place for a wedding! Our daughter and her fiance (now husband) are BYU students, but we live across the country and Highland Gardens was perfect for us. Shelly and her staff were excellent to work with: very professional, promptly communicative, very friendly, very organized. Their facility is gorgeous with wonderful live greenery, beautiful stonework, fireplaces, a waterfall, and fabulous lighting. They take excellent care of it. Having our daughter and her husband's names on the marquis is a wonderful touch, too, and it helps guests know they've arrived. Wonderful!Sent on 04/14/2014
One of the great things about Highland Gardens beside the beauty of the facility itself was the fact that our reservation gave us the place for the day. We had family and friends from across the country and across the world at our event, and many had nowhere to go but a hotel that wasn't really close to our ceremony site, the Mt. Timpanogos Temple (which is only one mile away!). But with the way Highland Gardens conducts business, this wasn't a problem! The bride and bridesmaids were able to use the gorgeous, spacious bridal room to get ready starting at 9 am. We had a brunch for our ceremony guests at 11, then a wedding ceremony at the temple a mile away at 2 pm. The reception started at 5:30 pm. From 9 am till the last guest left, there was always a comfortable place for our guests to gather and enjoy the day. No other venue offers this. Everyone raved about how comfortable the day was and how nice it was to not be driving all over the place from one venue to another and how nice it was to not have to find somewhere to kill time between the ceremony and the reception. Everything was contained in a one-mile radius and accessible all day. Perfect!
I would absolutely recommend Highland Gardens to anyone hosting a wedding, or any event for that matter. We had a truly wonderful wedding day there!

This venue was PERFECT!!!!! They have all of the chairs and tables available for you to use so there is no need to rent those items. There is plenty of parking for your guests and it is BEAUTIFUL. LOVED IT!Sent on 09/16/2014

This venue is the best bang for your buck. When renting Highland Gardens, the venue is yours from 9 a.m. until midnight. They have tables, chairs, table linens, and dinnerware available for your use. We took advantage of the commercial kitchen for our family dinner, which helped to save money on a caterer. They assigned a hostess to our reception who was helpful. Her job was to assist the bride and make sure everything went smoothly so the bride and mother of the bride could relax. Highland Gardens Reception Center was absolutely astonishing! Being a green house everything was so lush, green and smelled so fresh. At dusk the lighting was phenomenal. The staff was so courteous and resourceful I hardly noticed they were there but they were swift in stepping in when needed. There wasn't a curfew for when we had to pick up. In fact we didn't leave until three in the morning and the staff even stuck around to help with the clean up (which they didn't have to do and wasn't a part of the contract) I would highly recommend Highland Gardens to anyone.Sent on 01/21/2012

The best parts were:
- Unlimited time. The venue was ours the WHOLE DAY! We didn't have to worry about other people/parties showing up or having to try and cram everything into a few hours for our special day. We had it from 9 am - midnight! (cleanup needed to start at 11pm and no loud music was aloud after 10 - per city law but that wasn't an issue for us!)
- No fee for outside catering! They have a full commercial kitchen in the back that is 100% yours to use! Or your caters to use if they need it! They only ask that you clean up after yourselves and wash and put away anything you use (complete reasonable request) We actually paid one of the girls who works at the venue to stay and wash the dishes for us! - great idea! You don't even need to hire a caterer if you don't want, you can use the kitchen yourself.
- Separate bride/groom rooms. Although they share a wall (which I didn't like too much) I appreciated they had somewhere for us all to get ready! Plenty of room for the whole bridal party! And they were right next to the bathrooms!
- Gorgeous greenery and lighting! There's almost NO need for decor here! The amazingly kept REAL greenery and plants throughout the whole space are gorgeous and well kept. There's also small running water ponds and a waterfall in the ceremony room! The lighting is elegantly strung from the open rafters and can be dimmed to set the mood.
- chairs, linens, tables all included! They even have linen colors and designs to chose from and even have decor pieces you can use (ALL FOR FREE!)
There's so many other things I could mention but just go and take a tour. You'll see for yourself it's perfect!
- no alcohol. Wasn't an issue for us
- we were told open flame was allowed then after we paid our deposit, a few months later we were told it wasn't and was offered our money back. Appreciated greatly, but inconvenient as it was now only 2 months away from our weeding.

If you just reach out to them they will help you figure out almost anything. They were very helpful and we loved having our wedding reception there. It's absolutely beautiful. The cost is a little high, but they provide a lot to go with it. (Dishes and silverware, table and tablecloths, lights, kitchen, brides room, grooms room, bathrooms and drinking fountains, pretty greenery and fountains, etc.)Sent on 10/23/2015

Kim has been absolutely horrid to work with. She's very unresponsive and very unfriendly. She could never manage to meet me to let me see the space before I booked it so I went down on my own one day to see it. Loved the place, regardless of her attitude. I sent her the contract and they received it (according to her on the phone), then I sent her my deposit but somehow it got lost in the mail. She assured me that I could just send it in within a few days. I had the money sent to my account (it took 4 days to get from the original bank to my account because the banks held it) and when I asked if I could pay it, she notified me my date had been booked, even though we'd been discussing for months about my wedding.
