We hired High Street Sound to supply DJ services to our wedding. We had a somewhat unusual itinerary and we had quite particular music preferences. High Street Sound sent a questionnaire in advance of our event where we could write our vision and preferences in great detail. They assigned Russell as our DJ, and Russel killed it! We seriously couldn’t have been happier with our DJ: Russell was always professional, he perfectly grasped our vision and executed! All this, and High Street Sound was one of our most affordable vendors. We couldn’t be more thankful and couldn’t recommend High Street Sound to others. -

We had a great experience with High Street Sound for our wedding! Everyone was quick with responses and were super communicative throughout the process. Tyler was our DJ and he did a fantastic job reading the room and keeping people on the dance floor. We got several comments on how good the playlist was. Would highly recommend this company for their reasonable price and great service! -

Our DJ was Jalen and he was an absolute delight! Not only did he bring incredible energy from beginning to end but he had to be one of the kindest people I have ever met. We knew we were in good hands the second we met him. An incredible communicator, listened to what we wanted and didn’t want, always followed through. We wanted a big party atmosphere for our dancing and he definitely hit the nail on the head. Many of the older guests really enjoyed his reception playlist as well. Anyone who interacted with him could only praise how nice he was. -

Our DJ was great and did everything we asked! Ben set us up with a DJ who typically keeps the vibe upbeat and a true party on the dance floor which is exactly what we wanted! Our dj preferred not to play more than 3 slow songs throughout the night and we were okay with it (but if we would have asked for more, he would have). Between the ceremony sound, dinner music and dance reception, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! He always made sure we were on the same page and he made on the spot changes to timeline and speeches but made it seamless! None of my guests ever knew we were behind (besides the fact that we had a printed timeline and ran behind- oops!) 😂 Great MC who kept the mood happy but didn’t talk between songs! Our day was perfect and they are reasonably priced! Middle of the road I’d say- not the cheapest but nothing super expensive- very affordable!! But the best part is you’d never know it 😉 highly recommend them based on our experience! ❤️ -

We were engaged when we saw Berc DJ-ing at our friend's wedding and were so impressed we hired him for our wedding. He brought so much fun and personality and a great balance of music and energy. He asked great questions throughout the whole process and worked with all of our requests and individual song choices. He was very flexible on the day but clearly had a plan a great ideas of his own so we could rest easy and just leave him to it because of all the communication beforehand. Highly recommend! -

If 10 stars was an option, that is what I would rate HSS. From our first call with Ben before completing the booking to the final call we had with our DJ Colin a few days before our wedding, the team at HSS took care of every single detail. They were so organized and easy to communicate with. My husband and I had some pretty lofty requests because I wanted songs played in a foreign language and the HSS team didn’t even bat an eye. Colin had the dance floor literally PACKED the entire night at our wedding. It was literally our wedding dream. Not to mention, Colin and his assistant were so genuinely nice and respectful; my husband and I just really enjoyed their energy. Cannot recommend working with High Street Sound enough! -

Berc was our wedding DJ and he did a fantastic job from our initial meeting through the entirety of the event. He was very professional and had great communication with us and our other vendors/coordinators. Played great music and kept our dancefloor rocking just like we wanted. Overall had a perfect experience working with Ben and Berc and would recommend them to anyone for a wedding. -

I highly recommend High Street Sound! Ben was fantastic to work with and extremely helpful in making sure the music for our ceremony, dinner, and reception were exactly what we wanted. He even did a personalized edit to a song so that it could fit what we needed for timing for the ceremony. At the wedding itself, Xai and Dylan did a wonderful job as DJ's! They did a great job reading the room and what people wanted, and always were fantastic at honoring a few timely requests from the bride and groom. Thank you for making our wedding day music perfect! -

The process of getting connected and sharing our expectations was incredibly well-organized, and Berc was a PHENOMENAL DJ! High Street Sound made everything DJ-related super easy when wedding planning. We got to input our preferences on a form, and then a Zoom call in advance of our wedding date ironed out all the details. On the wedding day, our team of DJs were on-time, super friendly, and seemed to be really into our music selections. They were super responsive and helpful with setting up for our reception as well as dancing after dinner. Not to mention, they are a great value. We had a great experience with High Street Sound and would totally recommend them to anyone searching for wedding vendors. -

Ben and his team are amazing! We planned our wedding in a short 6 months time and I was flustered to say the least about getting everything done in time. Ben made the process of booking our DJ so easy! I loved that Ben sent out a simple itinerary to break down information they needed for the day. Berc was our DJ and we absolutely loved him. Time got away from us and we got back a little later than expected from our photos and Berc was very patient and checked in with us to make sure we had enough time to take it all in before our grand march, not pushy at all just went with the flow! Everything was perfect. I can not praise this team enough for all that they did in making sure our wedding day was nothing short of amazing. Thank you High Street! -

We can't say enough wonderful things about High Street Sound! Ben was one of the first people I spoke to when we started planning our wedding last year. He was so responsive and answered all of my questions regarding hiring a DJ. He made us feel very confident in our decision to hire them as our DJ. As someone who was planning a wedding from out of state, his communication really set a positive tone and I appreciated it so much. The months leading up to the wedding, Ben checked in and had us fill out a survey to understand exactly what we were expecting for our day. We made a "must play" list as well as a "do not play" list. The week of the wedding, I met with our DJs and was able to ask questions and clarify any questions they had. It also got me really excited since they were really cool. After speaking with them, Ben made a decision to send another DJ since we are huge EDM people and we really wanted EDM to play the entire night. This was an amazing decision because Reina and Dylan were incredible the day of! The music for the ceremony was perfect. After the ceremony, they checked in with us and verified our timeline for the reception. They really made sure that we stayed on time and played all the music we had requested for our entrance, dinner, first dances, and cake cutting. When the real dancing started, it was exactly what we wanted! I was so impressed with our DJs and our guests were on the dance floor until the night ended. I'm so grateful for Ben, Dylan, and Reina!! They made our wedding planning and day of amazing. If you hire them for your wedding, or any event, you will not be disappointed!! -

Ben communicated with us every step of the way. Loren and Kevin were our DJ's for the night and they phenomenal! They did everything right and more. We absolutely LOVED them! High Street Sound were truly partners in planning our day in the best way possible. They were so receptive to all the specifics we planned for our reception around vibe we were going for, the artists we wanted, the things we wanted to avoid etc. They were able to riff off of some of our favorite songs to put together an amazing set list that kept the party going. The team with High Street Sound were easily one of the best parts of our day. We were initially nervous because they charge a relatively low price compared to other DJs in the area. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY. The entire night we received compliments after compliment. Our DJs were great at reading the crowd, they were pleasant to work with, the pre-wedding inventory and call helped ease our minds about the day-of logistics. We cannot recommend them enough. Our day was spectacular, and much of that is thanks to High Street Sound.
