Phenomenal wedding band

We were lucky enough to have High Fidelity play our wedding reception - and holy smokes they were incredible! They were SO kind and patient with us (we are not the best planners) as we chose our first dance, etc songs. They learned some new songs for us (and blew us away!). The dance floor was packed all night and our guests have told us many times they loved te band. We had the greatest time. They were a pleasure to work with - super laid back, fun, and made it a stress-free experience. Super talented musicians and singers. Many thanks to High Fidelity!

Best. Band. Ever.

Do NOT wait, book this band today. You will not find a better or more FUN band. I had so many guests come up to me and my husband and say that we had the best band ever!! They are a super talented, extremely fun, very lively, and wildly entertaining!! They even let my husband and guests sing some songs on stage and it was fabulous!! You will NOT be disappointed and you are guaranteed to have everyone on the dance floor, singing at the top of their lungs, and having a pants-ripping good time! Thank you guys for providing the EXACT musical experience we wanted on our wedding day!

One of the best experiences I've had working with a band.

I work with a lot of bands for events with my company, and High Fidelity has been one of the easiest and most entertaining to work with. The band engaged with our employees on the dance floor (which we asked for) and their sound tech even checked in with me every so often to make sure I didn't have any announcements or song requests he needed to relay to the band. The members of the band are very clearly talented and they played a great variety of hits for our party. I will definitely be using them again if I have the chance.

The best wedding band!

We absolutely loved having High Fidelity perform at our wedding. The whole party loved the music and was dancing the entire night. The band even let my dad sing a song with them, while my friend played the tambourine!! The band worked with us to make sure the songs we wanted were prioritized. The whole night was incredible thanks to high fidelity. Highly recommend!!

Best band evaaaaa

High fidelity was absolutely AMAZING! they were so much fun and such a good vibe. They really brought the dance floor to life. Once point, the lead guitarist came out into the crowd. it was so epic. Every wedding guest came up to me and told me it was the best wedding band ever!! 20/10 recommend. Also they were so easy and cool to work with.

Easy, professional, amazing music, best wedding band ever

I cannot recommend High Fidelity enough for your wedding… only if you want to have the best wedding band in Austin!! From start to finish communication was easy and they understood what we were looking for. There was never a second we went with a question unanswered and they were extremely professional throughout the entire process. Most importantly, they rocked the house so much our guests are still talking about it today!! They learned multiple songs for us and they were performed so well. Our guests were asking for more and they had to kick us out of the venue. Again, extremely impressed with this group and couldn’t recommend enough.

Great people, great music

Amazing band!

We had a great experience with High Fidelity band. Before the wedding they were prompt to respond and answer questions. They were accommodating when we switched our wedding date. At the wedding, they delivered an awesome set for us. People danced all night long! Definitely recommend and would pick again!

My wedding was 6 months ago and my friends and family STILL say this was the best live wedding band they have ever seen! High Fidelity will blow you away!

The band was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t say enough about how much everyone loved them. We received so many accolades from our guests, such as, “where (or how) did you find these guys?”, “that’s it… we’re getting a band for our daughter’s wedding!”, and “those guys are flat-out amazing, especially those horns!”. There were so many other accolades, way too many to capture here. The band had the dance floor packed from beginning to end, even during the dinner hour when it was so-called “easy listening music”. Having a band definitely MADE THE WEDDING. They were also great at MC'ing and playing during the ceremony. The band was also very accommodating given the stage came w/ missing parts, forcing then to have to squeeze together. They made it all work and we all had a blast thanks to High Fidelity!

Amazing Band

High Fidelity was the best investment I made in the budget for the reception. The band was professional and flexible to literally all of our requests. Not only did they emcee the event perfectly but their skills and performance for each set was perfect. They were intuitive and knew when we wanted to two-step or rock out with them.

Wow! Truly MADE our wedding!

This is the BEST money we spent. Wow. We had also hired a DJ who never showed up for our ceremony & didn’t have any of our playlists ready. Thank GOD we had also hired High Fidelity because they saved the day. They stepped in at a moment’s notice and took care of everything. Their set was incredible. They were the life of the party. We did not want it to end. HIGH FIDELITY is the SINGLE BEST money we spent for our special day. DO NOT hesitate to hire them.

The Best Wedding Dance Band

Great band - very responsive and easy to work with. Very professional with set up and contracting very clear. High Fidelity even learned Selena's bidi bidi bom bom for the event. They have tremendous versatility from mo-town to country. They got everyone from grandma to goth dancing - it was high energy. I have had many requests for their information from friends and family. Get em if you can.

Hire them!!!

We are still having guests tell us how much they loved our band. Peyton helped us do something very special during our ceremony as well providing a speaker to play a clip from my late father during the ceremony meant the world to me. If they are available for your date I can’t express enough how highly we recommend them!

Best part of the wedding

High Fidelity was the best part of our wedding! We had so many people come up telling us how awesome the band did! They knew how to read the crowd and play exactly the songs to get everyone on the dance floor. We would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a wedding band!
When looking through other bands, they were very reasonably priced and totally worth every penny. They were easy to communicate with as well!

Perfection.
Simply put, this band is THE band you want to book for any and all of your gatherings. Stop looking now. Book them. No, seriously. Stop looking and book them now before it's too late. The biggest no-brainer of all-time. Lead singer is amazing. Horns are exceptional. Key board players, guitar, drummer. They are the best, bar none. We chose to have them play our first dance song, father-daughter dance and mother-son dance songs and it was the best decision ever. Thank you HIGH FIDELITY!

Best Wedding Decision Ever!

My wife and I got married on November 14, 2020 at the Grand Ivory in Leonard, Texas. Without a doubt, our wedding wouldn't have been what it was had we not had HighFidelit as our band. They were incredibly easy to work with and our planner loved working with them.

More importantly, they absolutely killed it from their music selection to the energy they brought out in every single one of our guests. My wife and I asked them to learn three new songs and outside of that they put the whole show on by themselves. They did an incredible job at reading the crowd and they had guests of all ages out on the dance floor having an epic time. My hands down favorite song of the night would have been - sugar-, we're going down. It would have been the last song we would have thought to request (as we didn't) but the band played this and crushed it - it felt like we were at a rock show (can't wait to see our wedding video). Without hesitation, we would recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible wedding band. We knew what we were going to get with HighFidelity Austin - the band members on their website are the band members that show up at your wedding and we could tell they all really enjoy playing with one another. Thank you again HighFidelity for making our wedding such an epic time - it wouldn't have been the same without you!

Couldn't Be Better

High Fidelity is an outstanding band! Working with their manager was very easy and their questionnaire, that we filled out, touched on all aspects of the wedding and ensured that everyone was on the same 'sheet of music' literally and figuratively. Their sound was great and had everyone dancing from the first song until the last. As part of the package they are willing to learn a few songs ahead of time that are requested by the bride and groom which personalizes the reception party. High Fidelity is a great band with a wide range of songs to choose from. We received compliments through out the evening on High Fidelity's performance. Should you decide to hire them you won't be disappointed.

Our Wedding-Party of the Year

High Fidelity was an absolute dream to have at my wedding. They are incredibly talented and had everyone out on the dance floor. Too Much Fun

High Fidelity is a very professional and great sounding band! I had several wedding guests come to me during the reception and ask how I found the band (answer: Internet). Check them out online. What you hear is what you get. Their performance (and the staff at the Menger Hotel) really (!) made the reception an outstanding occasion. You can't go wrong with this group!

Dance the Night Away!

We chose High Fidelity for our wedding reception band on recommendation from the knot and they did not disappoint! As the mother of the bride and one who loves music and dancing, I had my fingers crossed they would wow us and our guests. Everyone danced all night!! The setlist was tailored to our taste and the three songs we asked they learn were played to perfection. Several guests even commented the band never made them feel like they were on break. I agree! Most importantly, the band members were respectful of our event and so very nice to us and our guests. We highly recommend you hire them for your next event!!

Best Wedding Band in Texas!

As the Father of the Bride, I did a great deal of research looking for the perfect band for my daughters wedding. Part of that research was being able to see them play one Saturday night at a nightclub in Austin without them knowing my wife and I would be there. After their very first song, my wife and I knew we had found the perfect band. We sent video of several songs to my daughter and future son-in-law and we all immediately agreed to hire them. Peyton was great at follow up, coordination, and meeting us a couple weeks prior to the wedding. The entire band was friendly and as important, are extremely talented musicians. They kept the dance floor full the entire night, took requests, and did an outstanding job the entire night. Everyone of our guests continue to tell us how impressed they were. High Fidelity is not a dance / show band (with pre-recorded music), they are professional musicians who play a great mix of everything. I give them the absolute highest rating for professionalism, follow up, being friendly to all of our guests, focusing on what our daughter and son in law wanted, and playing great music. Best Wedding Band in Texas!

Amazing Experience!

High Fidelity was the highlight of my wedding for many guests! I was told over and over that my wedding was the most fun wedding my guests had ever been to, and it is all because of High Fidelity. This band does an amazing job of reading the reaction of the crowd to choose the next songs to make sure people are having the best time possible. 10/10 wow - the real deal

Wow....three weeks later, people are still asking us who our band was! You NEED this band at your wedding!! High Fidelity is AWESOME! We gave them our list of songs and they made sure to play all of our favorites, but would go down paths of music genres when they could tell the crowd was lovin it. They are true professionals and we are so happy that we had HF at our wedding. The dance floor was bangin! The band manager, Peyton, was so easy to get in touch with at any time for anything. He was super accommodating and flexible with our asks. We really can’t recommend them enough!! 10/10 - will get them to play at our first born's first birthday

Awesome Wedding Band

This band came highly recommended by our day of coordinator and they did not disappoint! From the beginning when we first started talking to Peyton, he and the band were flexible with our requests and put us at ease about the event. We had some last minute changes to our father/daughter and mother/son song choices the night before and they were able to accommodate us perfectly. The band was very engaging and had the dance floor full the whole night. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND High Fidelity Band!

Best part of our wedding!

High Fidelity was the highlight of our wedding. Multiple guests commented on how fabulous they performed. Family members I’ve never seen dance my whole life got up and danced so hard to High Fidelity! After all the stress of planning a wedding it was a personal high of ours to just let loose and dance the night away. They were professional and responsive throughout the process and answered any questions we had, got on multiple calls with us, and learned songs that were special to us. I’d recommend High Fidelity to anyone looking for a great party band.

Went above and beyond!

High Fidelity went above and beyond and I can not recommend them more highly.They are worth every penny because they are not only talented musicians but good people who truly care about how your wedding day goes. I hired a quartet to play string music for the ceremony, but when a surprise cold front came through in Austin my plan for elegant string music was going down the drain (very difficult to physically play if hands are cold + temperature affects the actual strings of instrument) High Fidelity came to the rescue! They had the quartet use a sheltered room inside the venue then used their own band equipment to project the beautiful music in the ceremony space and even helped with music transitions during our ceremony. None of this was their job, but they did it without thinking twice! And as for the reception- they were amazing. We loved the band's version of our first dance song "You are the Best Thing" and my wedding guests were essentially on their feet and dancing for over 4 hours. It was SO fun and they sounded great. We got so many compliments about the music. The band picked the perfect songs to keep things upbeat and were very helpful as MC's to transition for bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc. I only wish I could have said more thank you's in person than I did... but thank you High Fidelity for doing so much to make my wedding day a great one :)

Fantastic band!!! They took the dancing at our wedding to the next level! I wanted a fun party reception and that's exactly what I got thanks to High Fidelity. High Fidelity is a phenomenal group! The band is incredibly talented and the management team is flawless. I planned a corporate event for ~500 engineers. (A bit of a tough crowd for a live band...) But High Fidelity delivered! The band had a crowd on the dance floor and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event! Management even asked me to book them again next year!

From the beginning, this group was very professional, easy to communicate with, and quite flexible in helping with our room's lighting. They truly wanted the party to be great. And I've heard nothing but praise of this group! I recommend highly and plan to book them again next year!

Our wedding coordinator connected us to High Fidelity and they were awesome! We loved the wide variety of songs they offered, especially country music. We ended the night with everyone on the dance floor singing Don't Stop Believin' with the band!

We hired Detroit Steel - the 4 piece version of High Fidelity - for our daughter's wedding at the Joule in Dallas in September. They did an amazing job! They played the perfect music throughout dinner, were very accommodating letting guest singers/guitarist use their equipment for the first dance, and were very flexible about all the fun and craziness of the reception. My daughter and her husband loved all the music they played and everyone kept commenting on how good the band was. People of all ages packed the dance floor all night. One of the bridesmaid's Facebook comment summed it up perfectly: "Rachel and Timmy threw a rock concert last night and decided to get married at it!"

Finding a band to wow our guests was one of the hardest parts of our wedding! We would see these fabulous bands and then find out that they cost $15,000 and my heart would sink. I finally gave up and took to FB and asked my friends for help. That's when I learned about High Fidelity! YALL! They were responsive, kind, easy going, and SO talented! We wanted a female vocalist and a horn section added: They provided for little extra cost! We opted for no stage to save money: No big deal! We opted to have an RV for their greenroom since the venue did not provide one: They totally went with it! My BIL's have a habit of getting on the mic for a Guns n Roses performance: They catered to them perfectly even giving my 2 year old niece a tambourine to get in on the action! And most importantly, they were SO talented!! Their rendition of Chris Stapleton's Tennessee Whisky will forever make my MIL swoon!! I am SO grateful for High Fidelity and their talents/service! Thank you thank you thank you!!

These guys are amazing! We had them for our wedding on 9/9 and they were BOMB. During dinner they played slower songs and lighter music while everyone was eating. They nailed all the first dance songs and even learned Tim McGraw’s “My Little Girl” since that’s what I wanted to dance with my dad to. After that the party really started! They played all kinds of music and really read our guests well! They sound amazing and our guests loved them! Also, some guests wanted them to play Ring of Fire which isn’t even on their set list and they played it seamlessly!! I couldn’t believe it! They are really a talented bunch and SO nice! I would highly recommend them!!

When my now husband and I were planning our wedding, the top item on our wish list was a great band. From the moment we stumbled across High Fidelity’s information, we knew we found the perfect band to play at our wedding. I really appreciated working directly with the owner, Peyton Riley, to discuss services and pricing. He was easy to communicate with and helped me formulate my ideas into a cohesive and smooth event. He was organized and prompt and clearly ran a well-respected and successful business. As our wedding day approached and details were finalized, I never once had to second-guess High Fidelity’s commitment and enthusiasm, which was invaluable for a stressed out bride-to-be. On the day of our wedding, Peyton took care of everything. He personally contacted our venue and arranged all of the details. When my husband and I made our grand entrance, there was High Fidelity rocking out on stage just as promised and everyone LOVED it! We spent our entire evening on the dance floor. Their talent and stage presence are still something that my friends and family are talking about! They had a perfect blend of classic and modern hits that had even our grandmothers belting out lyrics. They interacted perfectly with the crowd and had everyone up and moving, including a mass of toddlers in the front row. And there are no words to describe the love and joy I felt when Peyton brought out his acoustic guitar and serenaded my husband and I during our first dance; it could not have been more perfect of an evening. High Fidelity made our wedding one to always be remembered and we can honestly say that we had the time of our lives…which is every bride’s dream come true.

High Fidelity was so great from start to finish. Very quick to respond when we were booking them and all throughout the process leading up to the wedding day. They kept the dance floor full to the very end of the night. Our friends and family were raving about them! Would recommend them to anyone!

I used to book bands for many years and these guys are pros. Our guests stayed on the dancefloor until the very end--even during the set breaks dancing to the mix music provided. Our photo album is full of hilarious photos of young couples, crazy cousins, and 90+ year old grandmas getting down. We provided general music preferences, a few special requests, and a rough timeline for the evening. Peyton and High Fidelity took it from there. The band was setup on-time and highly professional throughout the evening--solid musicianship, engaging stage presence, and a whole lot of fun. High Fidelity Rocks!

When we decided we wanted to have our wedding in Austin, we knew we had to have a live band that would be fun and engaging with our guests. Not only did High Fidelity bring the talent, but they stole the show. Peyton and the rest of the band were a hit! All of the songs they played were spot on (even our requests outside of their song list), and they couldn't have been more nice of people. They were professional and helpful in the planning process (and I'm particular), great to work with on the day of, kept my guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT and helped with all our silly surprises-karaoke, singing happy birthday, and the Aggie War Hymn! When you are planning the most significant event of your life, a wedding, you know that there are key components that can make or break the magic of the event. One of these is music – specifically the band. Not having booked a band in central Texas before, I went to the Knot for guidance. What a fortuitous act. We found High Fidelity! None of our friends had used them or were aware of them, but fortunately, that didn’t stop us from booking them. After hearing their promo tapes, our daughter and her fiancé knew their music and “sound” would match their vision. From the first contact with Peyton, every step in the process was smooth. Payment was easy, song variety was vast, options for additional instruments available, discussions on approach personable – right down to patience with slow response on OUR end! They were on-time, flexible in staying longer to meet the bride’s request, and provided the best party and dance we could ever imagine. Looking back at the photos of our guests filling the dance floor, hands waving in the air, musicians on the dance floor jamming – we want to do it again. I am looking for the next opportunity to hire High Fidelity and work with Peyton. You will not regret your decision to book them because you will have the highest level of professionalism combined with the highest level of musicianship, and topped with the best personalities and energy to make your event memorable. If you are on the fence or just starting your search for a band to add to your wedding or gathering your search is over. My wife and I are in our mid 20's and have been to probably 20 weddings together over the last 4 year so we knew a great band was the most important thing to make our reception memorable for us and our guests. We searched for months viewing several different bands, some more than once and thought we had settled on 1 until we saw High Fidelity perform in Austin. We drove from San Antonio to watch them preform "80's Night" and they knocked it out of the park! We signed their contract the next day.
They were very professional and more than accommodating before, during and after our reception. They send over a checklist to help your night go as smooth as possible and will even learn a few songs to perform at your event. My wife and I took dance lessons to a Sam Smith recorded song to get our step count perfect. They surprised us with learning and performing the song and absolutely nailed it, our step counts and Joe's lead vocals were on point with what we had been rehearsing for months. We gave them the reins to introduce couples, first dances, cake cutting etc. and everything flowed perfectly - no awkward quite moments of transition.
I can't give High Fidelity enough praise for their performance at our wedding. We got married 5 months ago and people are still talking about the band! If you have any hesitation to hiring them you should take the time and go see them live - you will not regret it.

I booked High Fidelity without getting the chance to see them due to their positive reviews. Their manager was very responsive and helped me through the booking process. It only took two songs at our wedding for it to click for me just how amazing the band was. Not only did they go above and beyond to help with ceremony instruments and sound (which was not part of our contract), but they learned many new songs for our dances, played many of my requests, helped my dad with music for his toast, and played Bruce Springsteen on the spot for my family from Philly per their request AT the party. The sound and light show were very high quality. The dance floor was completely packed all night. People were commenting on the band the whole entire night as they played 80's, 90's, oldies and pop hits. Our Hava Nagila was epic, and I thought the dance floor might break during Blink 182 with the whole crowd stomping and pumping their fists. The reception could not have been more fun, and I credit this band for bringing out the energy in our guests. They emcee'd the party and were interactive with the groom and me throughout the night. My family was obsessed with landing the perfect band, and they are now obsessed with High Fidelity.
Thank you High Fidelity! We couldn't have asked for more.vI would not hesitate to hire them again, and I bet our wedding guests will be hiring them too!

So I do not have enough words about how much EVERYONE (& I mean everyone!!) @ my wedding LOVED High Fidelity!! They had everyone dancing, from kids to the older crowd! It truly MADE my wedding! Peyton and the entire High Fidelity team are amazing. They are absolutely stellar musicians. It was important to me to have a live band at my wedding and High Fidelity was the answer. I did not hold them to a specific playlist. Being a musician myself, I know how important it is to read a crowd and get a feel for what the crowd wants. I allowed the band to do just that and they nailed it. The band was also very relaxed and flexible. My wedding was outdoors in a covered pavilion. With looming rain, they made certain accommodations and the show went on! Thank you so much for making my night so memorable. All of my guests loved you guys!

Seriously, the best addition we could have ever made for our music festival themed wedding #barnaroo! high Fidelity had everyone on the dance floor within the first 5 seconds of the first song and kept the party going until we were kicked out at midnight. They played the best songs on our wishlist and were more than willing to accommodate for any requests. If you are nervous about finding a band that will be fun, outgoing, willing, can get everyone from all ages on the dance floor, well look no further!

It's been a month since our wedding and we still have people (especially our mom's) who repeatedly tell us how much they loved High Fidelity!

High Fidelity did an awesome job at our wedding! I had a whole plan regarding what songs to play at what times and they followed it wonderfully! The band even played some of the songs I had on my mp3 list that I didn't even know they were able to play (since it wasn't on their list on the website). They can play almost anything (any genre), it is great!! They knew how to get the party started and the guitarist even came off the stage to jam out (my husband played his air guitar with him) lol. I was planning from NJ and our wedding was in TX. It was very easy to get in contact with Peyton when if I needed anything. Overall great experience and would totally recommend!!

I just wanted to say thank you! Thank you for being an easy vendor - straight forward and dependable. The band was great! OMG that band was so good. I really think they made my reception such a success and probably the best wedding reception I've ever been to (I might be a little biased). The weather turned out great - and the dance floor was constantly packed. All the members were friendly and great. I even think the guests were singing "sing another song! sing another song!" even after me and my husband left in the getaway car. I know learning reggae wasn't easy - and I thought the band killed it. My husband and I loved dancing to Bob Marley sung by a live band member. SO GREAT!

This band ROCKS! And they know how to make a reception, a party! If you are looking for a reception that gets people out of their seats then you must hire High Fidelity. They do an AH-MAZING job prepping to build the perfect private concert for you and your guests (yes! that's exactly what it feels like!!)

Before the event they will ask you for the key songs and will ask you to send the VERSION of the song you want them to play -- this was amazing to my husband and I -- big music people! We picked obscure versions of songs -- sent them the video / song in the version we wanted and BAM! The night of the reception they sounded like our favorite artists, singing our favorite songs -- at our wedding concerts! Again I'm tearing up thinking about our wedding because these folks made it so special. Oh! And they sang for the ceremony -- I was a bit "out of it" walking down the aisle but from what I hear it was glorious. I do remember looking at the lead singer walking down the aisle and he gave me the sweetest smile. The band members truly wanted to be there and make the night special -- you can tell they love making memories for their clients and guests.

I "planned" my own wedding -- worried at the last minute that everything will work out. Well -- choosing a partner like High Fidelity eased any nerves. They arrived on time, asked the right questions and performed an amazing show. Again -- this is the band you want to hire if you want people dancing all night long!!

The band was wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to make their event special. They were so fun to work with, quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had, always available to talk via phone or email, they guided us through the entire process and made it incredibly easy for us. They read the crowd perfectly and had all ages dancing literally all night. We have received SO many compliments about the band since the wedding. Everyone was so impressed with their song choices and musical ability. They engaged the crowd (even had my dad - a bass player himself - up to play a song with them). Simply put -- you must hire them!

High Fidelity absolutely killed it. We are from New York, but getting married in Austin you know there are a ton of local bands to choose from, but none exudes the type of energy and delivers an almost absurdly diverse song list like High Fidelity. My wife summed it up perfectly, "They seemed to understand who we were as a couple and played to that - literally." From the very start, they were professional and approachable, and we easily communicated via both email and text. They conveyed a sense of confidence, and it was nice to know "they got it taken care of" when you are in the midst of planning. They read the crowd well, and you can tell they truly enjoyed playing as much as we enjoyed dancing.

Beyond playing songs ranging from "Dreams" by Fleewood Mac, "Add it U" by Violent Fems, a rousing rendition of "Shout" by The Isley Brothers, "Pour Some Sugar on Me" by Def Leopard, and even mastering Warren G (yes, they learned "Regulate" for us), they also MC'd the entire night and generally kept everything flowing. They are definitely up to any challenge, and will without a doubt deliver the type of experience you are looking for. They know when to quiet it down, and when to bring the house down. They also have a seller tech team, and worked well with our wedding coordinator to nail down what songs were to be played when, even sourcing the Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances from Spotify, and filling in the band breaks with our own play lists without having us worry about anything. Multiple lead singers, great musicians (think...Grammy Awards), and all around good people -- it's a hard mix to find.

They brought good vibes from the moment we walked in the door, and it was amazing to hear comments from our guests like "wow, I can't believe they did that song." For now, all I can do is stress how great they were. We were beyond happy we hired High Fidelity and we think you should too.

The band was amazing!! From the beginning, Peyton was very easy to deal with and was prompt with answering any questions that I had. About a month prior to the wedding, they sent a questionnaire to fill out with all the information they would need to MC the event that evening and about our song preferences. I had watched videos of them on their website and was excited for them to play at my wedding, and let me tell you, they exceeded all of my expectations. They were lively and sounded wonderful throughout the night. They interacted with the crowd and were able to play music that kept everyone on the dance floor all night. People were still talking about how much fun they had and how great the band a week after the wedding. Trust me when I say, they are worth every penny!!

Best investment!! Everyone was still talking about how great the band was days after the wedding. They were high energy and played well to the crowd. My wife found High Fidelity, the band was absolutely amazing and they really made the reception! They were judging the crowd and played music that kept everyone out on the dance floor, I want to have a party for our five year anniversary and have High Fidelity play! They learned three songs for our reception which was included in the price, as well as find the guitarist for the ceremony music. We are so, so happy that we booked High Fidelity for our wedding. They were super easy to work with before the wedding and on the actual wedding day - very responsive to my emails and answered any questions I had very quickly. They played a wide variety of music that kids and grandparents alike loved and were also very flexible when we wanted to hook up our iPod to play a few special songs at the end of the night. So many people came up to us unprovoked and said how great the band was. People were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night!!

We seriously could not have picked a better wedding band. When we first contacted Peyton and asked what their "requirements" were for putting on a show, he said a flat surface and a wall outlet. The entire process from start to finish was that simple with these guys, and they put on a PHENOMENAL set at our wedding. They have a lot of variety in their song catalog (mostly 80's rock) and on top of that they offered to learn up to 3 new songs of our choosing. So if you ever book these guys and here "I was made for lovin you" by KISS, you're welcome. We felt that their band fee was extremely reasonable and competitive relative to other bands of their calibre, and we just do not have a single negative word to say about this band or any of its members. Do yourself a favor and see them live if you can, you will be sold. Their bass player could be a one man show, and everyone is just very talented and professional. If they are still rocking in 10 years, we will be calling them for an anniversary concert.

The band performed for us last minute -- we had a going away party.
They took requests, were friendly and professional.
Only negative was the keyboard player couldn't make it since our party was last minute.
The band sounded so much like any band they covered.

"High Fidelity was one of the upmost highlights of our wedding. From start to finish, working with Peyton and High Fidelity was pleasant, professional and superior. The wedding 'process' has its strains on a couple but working with this band was AMAZEBALLS! Not only did they help plan the perfect event we wanted but they delivered a great show and all my guests were so impressed with how awesome their performance was. I only hope that you don't read this review and hire them up for a date that I want to book them for our next party. Awesome! Amazing! Fun! Don't overthink it....just do it!!!!!!

All the guests had a great time at the reception. The band leader served as the MC for the evening. He did a great job. The band played a variety of music for all tastes. The dance floor was full of all age guests the entire evening. Peyton was extremely helpful. He guided me through the process, gave a list of possible songs and the band had no problem playing the songs we requested for first dance, father/daughter, mother son as well as a surprise last song for just the bride and groom. The band was well worth the cost which was very reasonable. I would highly recommend High Fidelity. My husband and I plan to travel to Austin to listen to them play when they play at a venue.

Greatest band ever! They played 80's rock music for my dad's 50th birthday and it was amazing! All the songs that were requested were right on, all our guests loved them! My dad could not have had a better birthday celebration without these guys! The whole band was amazing, they arrived at the agreed time, and started to play on time. All of the guys were friendly and open to any requests. Peyton did a great job communicating with me throughout the whole planning days in advance and on the night of the event. They were super accommodating and we had a great time!! Not to sound repetitive but the way they play, sing and set the mood of the party was awesome! Thanks!

I would recommend this bank to ANYONE getting married or for any other event. They played an awesome playlist, kept the entire dance floor full, allowed me (the groom) to sing a song or 2 on-stage, and seriously received like 50 compliments from random guests. A+++ job!

We booked High Fidelity in August for a January wedding. Generally speaking, five months is not a lot of lead time to book a band, but Peyton and the band were extremely responsive and easy to work with during the planning process. We had a meeting with Peyton, after talking with him about what we were looking for in a wedding band, we felt he really understood what we wanted (I wanted dance pop/top hits and my husband wanted 80s rock). They played top hits at the wedding that weren't on their song list which we really enjoyed.

My husband and I both studied music in college, and we were very impressed by the way High Fidelity sounded in person. The live YouTube videos on their website are good, and the band offered us multiple chances to come listen to them perform live, which was helpful.

Peyton did an excellent job MCing the reception and kept the night running along, even though we were way behind schedule. We had a bit of miscommunication with the venue which led to a very ambiguous timeline, but thanks to High Fidelity none of our guests even noticed. Every guest we've talked to has told us about how much fun they had at the reception, and we really believe this was in no small part due to the band. They were unbelievably flexible throughout the whole process and we could not have asked for a better band to help us celebrate the night. They truly went above and beyond all expectations, and if we had to do it all over again, we would absolutely book them again.

High Fidelity was very accommodating and played all kinds of music.
I am so glad we decided to go with them (High Fidelity) instead of a DJ.
High energy, great music, awesome memories.
I just recommend them to my good friend who is also getting married.

My wife put me in charge of the music and booze for our wedding, and when it came to the music High Fidelity did not disappoint! Once they got going, no one stopped dancing the entire night, even their set break music was awesome! Compared to other bands that are considerably more expensive these guys are awesome! They have a vast repitoire of songs, I only wish they kept their list a bit more up to date so we would know if a special request song was one they needed to learn or they already knew! Chances are though, if it's a hit tune, even a newer hit, they already know it, so just ask! Very flexible with their time, and didn't restrict us to a set amount of live music time, they played all night and brought the house down!

Our first song and the father/daughter song were mixed up, but they rectified the situation later. Once the music got going, everyone was blown away by the quality and variety of the music played. They were AMAZING!

Keep your guests on the dance floor all night

We initially chose High Fidelity because they play our venue often (The Vineyards at Chappel Lodge) but we absolutely loved working with them. They were extremely friendly and fun. Our guests were on the dance floor all night! They also will learn 3 songs of your choosing, which I felt like was really unique and they will listen if there are any songs on your "do not play" list. If you are looking for an enthusiastic band for your wedding night that was great to work with, I highly recommend hiring High Fidelity.

Better than we could have hoped for

This was one of the first vendors we booked after picking the venue. They did an amazing job! They even had all my grandparents on the dance floor. I distinctly remember running across the venue multiple times to get to the dance floor. Would recommend a thousand times over! Hope to catch them live again next time we're in town.

High Fidelity did such an amazing job at our wedding! They genuinely had the dance floor going all night.

A few months before our wedding, my husband went to check out a few different bands in the Central Texas area. After attending a rehearsal of High Fidelity's in San Marcos, he called me immediately after and said he had found our wedding band. He's a fan of rap and was sold after hearing their rendition of "California Love" lol.

Fast forward to our wedding reception- we requested mostly top 40 and, of course, some hip hop songs and High Fidelity did not disappoint. They were able to incorporate our music preferences along with traditional favorites and had such a good feel for what would keep the party going! They even had the little kids dancing through the night! That was easily one of our favorite memories of the entire wedding day.

Also, Peyton was great to deal with from the logistical side of things. I can't recommend HF and their entire team highly enough- thanks for such a memorable night!

This band has more talent and ability than any wedding band I have ever heard. True musicians who have deep understanding of music and how to put on a show you will never forget.

We used High Fidelity at our wedding reception three weeks ago, and I can't express how much fun everyone had with them. I've never been to a wedding where almost EVERYONE was dancing! Plus, people kept talking about how amazing the band was and how much they were able to sound like the real songs! Plus, they even allowed my cousin to play the tambourine. So much fun! Peyton was so easy to work with, and the band was such an amazing value compared to other wedding bands out there. I would highly recommend them.

We had High Fidelity play for our Symphony Deb Ball. We have people ranging from 14 to 80 at the event. This band is fun for everyone! They are super professional and very easy to work with. Would definitely book them again!

This band is great. If you want a real, live party band feel to your wedding, they will be for you. I am a big live music fan and these guys bring it. They play the songs true to the originals. All of our guests RAVED about the band. They will even learn 3 songs that you choose for the reception. For us, they learned a VERY obscure song that we used for our first dance and they also learned a Phish song, which is NOT easy to play. I was so impressed.

The only negative is that a terrible storm cut our evening short with the band and we only got 1 full set, when we were expected to have 3. This was not their fault.

They were all very nice people as well. They were fun to have at the event. Hope to see them live if they are playing next time we're in Austin.

Extensive list of errors

We hired HighFidelity for our March wedding and do not recommend them. They made an extensive list of errors at critical times at the wedding (eg: played the wrong song while the bride walked down the aisle, did not introduce the best man speech, missed the traditional song).

They did not listen to our set list requests. The brief was high energy and upbeat songs that will keep people on the dance floor all night, this translated to odd song choices such as Wonderwall. Musically, they were a sound band, however it got sloppy as the night progressed.

With the level of unprofessional behavior exhibited, I do not recommend this band.
