Emma and Marie are the BEST! The quality of the photos and the video is SUPERB. My 30th wedding anniversary was celebrated at Megan’s Bay in St. Thomas and I’m am so happy to have included them in our celebration, They provided over 100 pictures that are captivating and stellar quality. I will cherish them and the video for a lifetime. The price was reasonable but not cheap but hey you get what you pay for. I hope to celebrate again and I will use them for our next Anniversary as well as refer them to anyone looking to make memories that you can cherish for a lifetime, than you to both of you for making it happen! -

My husband and I received beautiful videos better than we could have ever imagined. They worked so hard on the editing and provided a great product. Very professional on the day and captured perfect moments throughout the event. I would recommend in a heartbeat! -

Initially we weren't going to hire a videographer, partly financial and partly as I was hesitant, thinking we weren't as photogenic as I would have liked considering we'd be capturing us "forever"! Just two weeks before our wedding we came upon some unexpected money and suddenly we felt we just HAD to see if we could make it happen. Our wedding photographer recommended Mike and Connie and let me just say it was one of the BEST decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process! Seeing us after, I am SOOO glad we did it! THANKS MIKE & TEAM!
We're four days from our 1st anniversary and there isn't a weekend that goes by that I don't want to pull out our wedding video and relive those precious hours over and over again (compacted into about 90 amazing minutes), including Mike in the water with us capturing our sea turtle snorkel!!! Thankfully we also have a "highlights" video that I really CAN pull up in the blink of an eye to get a quick "dream island wedding fix" and save the longer edited video for those days when we've got more time.
Mike and his partner were great to work with, and Connie did a wonderful job editing the footage with music we selected. She also came up with a terrific song for our short video we didn't know but which is SO perfect. I wish I had known two things early on, though. One, that our guests would be asked to say something on camera so we could prepare them (I just hadn't thought about it!). And two, we were hoping to capture the performances on video by our guitarist and steel pan player because we knew we'd likely be too busy. Due to the soundtrack of our video (which we love) we still wouldn't be able to hear them play. We do have the raw video footage, it's just not in our edited version, so just make sure they know if it's a big deal to you.
All-in-all, we are so thankful we had the opportunity to work with them and think our finished videos are AMAZING! -

Chris did a beautiful job putting together our wedding film. He also sent a second dvd with the "raw footage" of our entire ceremony, our first dance, our dances with our parents, and the toast. My husband initially didn't think we should spend the money on a videographer but now we both agree - it was 100% worth it. Thank you, High Definition Video, for giving us a fantastic way for us to enjoy our wedding day memories for years to come! -

Can't believe I never wrote a review! Mike and his assistant made our rainy cloudy wedding look amazing! I was pretty heartbroken when our turquoise paradise turned gray and rainy, but Mike did a wonderful job capturing all of the little details and turned the rain into an artistic touch. They came well prepared and didn't shy away or miss any opportunities for shots despite the forecast. They also stayed later than I anticipated and captured great snippets of our family and friends giving us best wishes. The syncing of the songs we provided them was perfect! My only gripe if I had to have one, would be the part where the wedding officiant is saying our names -- the music cuts in over my name so it can't really be heard. Aside from that, I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. 3 years later, the movie still blows me away and always will! Thank you for capturing our special day! -

I am so happy I booked with High Definition Video and my weeks of researching and reading countless boards and reviews to find the perfect videographer paid off! Mike and Connie have AMAZING talent! They pulled everything last minute for me (with only a week's notice!) and delivered the final product in super speed time! They made us feel very comfortable and we had a lot of fun working with them! They also worked really well with the other vendors and was able to come up with a video that made all our friends and family say that it was the best wedding event video they have ever seen! *^_^* I wish they lived in Seattle so we can book them for future events! -

Mike and Connie were an absolute pleasure to work with! Mike has a very calm and laid back personality which is very soothing on a day when everything else seems to be stressful and everyone is pulling you in a million different directions. He was very flexible and professional during the entire event when working with other vendors and demanding family members. After the ceremony, he captured the sunset and us perfectly with a few different camera angles. They mailed out the Dvds very quickly, and were very accomodating with a request to change a song in the background. They then sent out the new Dvds very quickly as well.
Connie did an amazing job putting together the video. She was able to put it together like a storybook, capturing all of the meaningful moments in a great sequence. Their video is the perfect memento from a dream wedding, and we will always cherish it! -

A wedding video is one of those items that brides often times debat about their "value" -- DO NOT let this happen to you! Mike and Connie from High Def Videos did such an amazing job capturing our special day. The little extra's they added at the beginning and end were a nice touch. (Since we came in on a cruise, they had our shipping leaving port that evening). Our expectations were far exceeded and I would definitely recommend using their services! -

Almost a straight week of rain provided the backdrop to our eloping to St. Thomas. We had the perfect plan for our wedding ceremony but the weather was not going to allow it, so we had to move under cover. Mike did an amazing job providing ideas for how to make our rainy wedding day still look beautiful on video. It was a huge success! Mike helped put us at ease over the rainy day and helped keep the atmosphere fun with his sense of humor and easy-going personality.
Mike and Connie did an amazing job in the post-production process of our wedding video. I can't say enough about their professionalism and persistence even in getting the video to us ahead of schedule (with multiple power outages in their office due to all the storms they've had this summer!) so that we could share it with our families who couldn't be in St. Thomas with us. If there is even a doubt in your mind if spending the money on the video willl be worth it - lay those doubts to rest. The experience, the finished product and the memories they help to preserve are more than worth it!

We had a great experience with Mike and Connie. Mike captured amazing video, still shots, and time-lapse footage. He encouraged us to be ourselves and just went with our flow. Connie did an excellent job editing the footage and meshing it with music. Together they produced a video that showcased our personalities. The end product is something that we will cherish for years.

Mike was very personable and did fantastic work. I loved the panning video and high def shots of the bubbling champagne he captured for us. I was amazed at his ability to really capture the special moments and romantic looks between me and my husband. Watching the video really takes us both back to OUR day.
We wavered on whether to hire a videographer. I am so glad that we did, it was worth every penny. They went out of their way to finish the editing to have our video ready and mailed to us for our party back home. The video arranged 1 week early. Great Service. If you are having your wedding in the virgin islands you HAVE to use them.

Mike did a really wonderful job at my St. John wedding earlier this year. I met him for the first time minutes before walking down the aisle, and he was extremely friendly, easy to talk to and immediately put me at ease. He came early to catch pre-ceremonial footage and stayed late into the reception. More importantly, when the the final DVD arrived last week, the only word to describe how I felt when I watched the footage is elated! It was absolutely A-MAZING!!! The footage, the still shots, the progression, the background music and cinematography came together beautifully, and it was such a tasteful presentation of the entire event. It's possibly even more beautiful than the live event - totally unreal editing work!!! Such a perfect way to keep the memories. I feel like I just got married all over again every time I watch it (which I've done several times already). I could not have asked for a better final product. Thank you soooo much! -

Mike was simply amazing... he shot our wedding last Friday at Pretty Klip Point, located at Sapphire Beach on St. Thomas. It was such a joy to work with him. We just received our dvd a couple days ago and we LOVE IT! They did such a magnificent job, we really couldn't have asked for anything more. We wavered back and forth on whether to hire a videographer but eventually decided to go for it. We are so glad we did and have zero regrets!!
We had a party back home, yesterday. I emailed them last weekend to see if there was any chance we could get the video in time. They went out of their way to get the video finished (and they didn't skimp!) and shipped to us so we got it the day before our party. What service! -

Mike was great! Impeccable service!! Our video is beautiful, of great quality and was delivered to us in record time. Mike is very friendly and during the ceremony he even helped my mom get amazing shots (even with our crappy little camera). And to top it all off he e-mailed us a few gorgeous pictures of the wedding that will make our grandchildren proud. :-) Absolutely worth every penny. :-) Thank you Mike!

We are so blessed to have chosen hi def for our July wedding on Magens bay. Mike was so great! He was able to film all of the special moments without being invasive. He also made sure we looked natural and not scripted like a movie scene;) his wife, Connie, worked wonders in the editing room and I can't thank her enough:) our video was recieved promptly and is FANTASTIC! We can't wait to show it to all of our friends and family! Now we forever have all of the memories of our special day captured in high quality video to remember always! Mike at High Definition Video shot our April 2010 wedding video on the island of St. John - we couldn't be happier with the results! Not only was Mike extremely personable, professional, and easy to work, but his work is flawless! The footage and transitions of the video were seamless...it is actually hard to believe that a single videographer without any type of assistance was able to create such a smooth/fluid product. Very impressive! It should also be mentioned that 8 months before our wedding, during a site visit to the Virgin Islands, Mike took the time to meet with us, answer all of our questions, and show us a few samples of his work. We decided to hire him then, which turned out to be one of our best decisions. We would highly recommend High Definition Video to anyone getting married in the U.S. Virgin Islands. -

You hear many stories of brides who felt their videographer was too pushy, not understanding and only did what they wanted. We never had to worry about this. We had decided not to have a videographer at our wedding. Less than a month before our New Years Eve wedding, I changed my mind. I had searched the internet and called several vendors in St. John and St. Thomas. I stumbled across a video from High Def VI and instantly fell in the love with the video. Luckily, Michael was available. We spoke numerous times on the phone prior to the wedding. He was always available to answer my questions and offer suggestions.
Michael arrived early on the day of our wedding to make sure he captured all the important moments between us and our families. He worked great with our photographer. On the day of our wedding, we gave Michael a DVD with pictures and a CD with all the music we would like included.
I really wanted the DVD for our reception which was less than two weeks later. Michael wanted to give us our DVD before we left the island. Two days later he hand-delivered the DVD’s to us. When my husband and I sat down to watch it, we were amazed. We could not believe what a wonderful job he did. We must have watched it 10 times in a row because we were so excited. He captured every important moment and then some. The music and photo montage make the video.
High Def VI did an incredible job on our wedding video. We highly recommend them for your island wedding. We couldn’t be happier with them. Check out our video on the website. -

If you are getting married in the US Virgin Islands then you should definitely book this vendor (Mike & Connie)!!!
Mike was prompt and very detailed with filming. He was extremely professional and fun and cooperative!!
When we received the video and watched it we were amazed!! The editing was unbelievable and brought tears to our eyes. It looked like a movie! The way they put everything together was priceless. They managed to get it all!
We have them to thank for capturing our special day and turning it into a treasure!
We have had it for a week and have watched it 5 times already!

Absolutely loved them. I love our wedding video, and the only thing I wish is that I would have realized before the wedding that I would have loved it and hired them for longer than we did. Great video, great people to work with, and went the extra mile during the wedding and reception. -

I had a FANTASTIC experience working with Mike and Connie at HighDef!! Right out of the gate Mike was very responsive and communicative. He asked many questions and explained technique and worked with me to ensure that my wedding video came out exactly as I envisioned. And has it ever!!!!
Actually, I shouldn't even call it a "wedding video", because what Mike and Connie create is art! I've never seen another video (theres that word again!) like it. My husband and I LOVE the way HighDef captured and told the story of our wedding day.
On our wedding day, Mike was punctual, flexible, professional and fun. AND, he and our photographer (Kelly Greer Photography- also HIGHLY recommended) worked together like a well oiled machine!!; Which is kind of important if you want good shots! (Perhaps thats why she suggested that I hire him??!)

All I can say is WOW!!!! I had my wedding on April 24th, 2009 and was looking for a great videographer to capture the key moments of wedding. I was more interested in a sophisticated highlights reel than the entire wedding. If you are looking for professional quality, timeliness, and phenomenal editing - High Definition Video should be your #1 choice.
We sent them 6-7 of our favorite songs to set our videos to. The DVDs we received (which came in a nice case) exceeded our expectations. The disc opened showing options for both a highlight reel and the full wedding ceremony. The highlight reel was approx 4-5min long, and captured all the moments that I loved. The wedding reel was approx 27min long and not only showcased our ceremony, but it had the classic shots of us getting ready, mingling afterwards, and enjoying the resort.

My husband (fiance' at the time) decided 2 weeks before our wedding that we wanted videography. We were a little skeptical if videography would be worth the money. My coordinator introduced me to the owner of High Definition Video. I spoke with the owner of the High Definition Video and put me at ease that everything would be fine and taken care of. And boy was it ever!! Our dvds arrived right before Christmas, perfect time to show our family. The quality and editing was nothing short of AMAZING!!!!! We highly recommend their services to all getting married in the USVI. -

We were EXTREMELY impressed with the video they did for us! First of all the creativity and professionalism are evident in every way! They also cued everything correctly for me and lined up my music while I walked down the isle! It was suburb! It made up for our horrible "so called" wedding coordinator making me miss my cue! They gave me back the one thing that went wrong at the ceremony! WE WERE THOROUGHLY IMPRESSED AND WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL!! The quality of the DVD was amazing! Not just because it's HI-DEF, but because of their truly creative talents! I had a large bandage on my cheek from an accident and they did everything they could to make sure to get my good side! They even kept reminding the photographer, from another company, of my issue and how to make me feel more comfortable! They put on a Five Star performance in every way! It's truly the best wedding video I have ever seen, and not just because I am partial! We just can't say enough about how impressed we are!! -

Mike was very easy to talk to! With all the emails that I sent and the phone calls I made, he was still nice and great to talk to!
The day of the wedding, he showed up on time! He made it pretty fun - he was full of energy - and wanted to do more - but we were totally clonked out after our ceremony.
I asked last minute that he put some pictures of us as well as a new song - and he was okay with it!
He rushed us our DVD for our reception the following week just in time! Connie did a GREAT job on the editing - couldn't be happier. We've watched it I think a total of twenty times within the last four days! -

My husband and I opted for a destination wedding in St. Thomas. I planned and organized for over a year for our big day. My coordinator found this company for me...I never once looked at their website...didn't even know what I was getting...I almost told my coordinator that I didn't want a videographer because our funds were tight. Thank GOD I didn't do away with the video. I just got it in the mail and it is amazing! High Definition Video KNOWS what they are doing...from the music, editing, and clear picture, to the DETAILS that were important to me (mind you, I never told them what was important to me...they just captured it...). To tell you the truth, I didn't even know they were there until they were ready to leave! They captured moments that I didn't even remember. I would recommend them to people who get married in the states, as well as people in the Virgin Islands! FLY THEM OUT TO YOUR WEDDING, where ever it may be...you WILL NOT REGRET IT! I sent the owners an email telling them that if I would have known they were this awesome, I would have had them record my entire reception too. -

I saw Mike's work on the internet and called him less than 2 weeks before my wedding. He told me that he had a prior appointment at 6pm, but would do everything that he could to get as many shots in for our 3:30pm ceremony before going to his next appointment. He gave wonderful advice for the order of the reception so that we had the memories we wanted captured, such as having our first dance, father daughter dance and cake cutting at the very beginning of the reception. Everything turned out perfectly and Mike was able to shot everything that we wanted and make it to his next appointment with time to spare. He was very professional and didn't once make us feel rushed even though we knew (and he knew) that he had to be at the next appointment on time. That meant a great deal to us, and so we didn't mind at all when it was time for him to leave. And when we saw the final edit of our highlighted video we were extremely impressed. It brought tears to our eyes again. We would highly recommend Mike and Connie's High Definition Video to anyone hands down! -

The video is amazing and we could not be happier with the final product. We can't believe how quickly you were able to put everything together and were thrilled that we were able to leave with it. It was a very big hit at our reception a couple weeks later and we have received so many compliments on your work. You captured all of the wonderful moments of the day and we are thankful to have this special memento. I found Hi Def Video online and after viewing their previous work, I knew I just had to have them record my wedding. The quality of the videos I viewed online done by Mike and Connie was breathtaking! Although the vendor I chose to coordinate my wedding already had a videography vendor that they work with, I told them that I had to have Hi Def Video record my wedding and my mind was made up!
Just as I suspected, Mike and Connie did an excellent job on my wedding video. I swear the editing that was done looked like we were watching a real life movie. I did not have the pleasure to meet Connie, but Mike was awesome! I married my honey Feb. 24, 2009 and my guest are still talking about how professional and down to earth Mike was...and I conquer. I knew he would be fun to work with just by communicating with him thru emails.
Thank you so much Mike and Connie for not only helping to make my day even more special, but for being genuine people who GET IT when it comes to giving people what they paid for and exceeding the expectations!!!

Mike was so great! We totally recommend HiDef Video as a vendor. He came to video the girls getting ready and he was very warm and professional at the same time so everyone was totally comfortable having him around. Having a casual wedding was key for us and I think he did such a great job getting all the important stuff from start to finish. We had already gotten a photographer, or we probably would have used him for that as well. That aside, he NEVER got in the way of any of the still photographer's shots (important in this biz) and was able to really capture the feeling that we wanted for our video. The shots were great, and we love love love everything we got! Also, a nice option he gives you is getting all your raw footage too, sometimes it's nice seeing some behind the scenes stuff you might have missed. Mike also has top-notch equipment too, so aside from his talent, the quality of the video was amazing. His editing style is awesome as well and we gave him some free rein with choosing most of the music, which turned out perfect...probably because he is very communicative and is willing to work with whatever style you want. He was so affordable and flexible with us, we probably wouldn't have been able to afford such a great documentation of our special day if it wasn't for his willingness to work with us and make it all happen. We got plenty of copies so our families wouldn't have to fight over who got a video, which was a life saver. Take it from me ladies, it's hard enough planning a destination wedding, do yourself a favor and book this vendor, then all you have to worry about are the hundred other things you've got to do before your big day! Thanks a million HiDef! -

This was a destination wedding so the ability to coordiante was very limited from the beginning.Without direction from us, we left what they wanted to do to them. Best decision we could have ever made !! The professional attitude and demeanor during the wedding was of the highest standard and more importantly the creativity that was used to complete the final product was SPECTACULAR. We could not be more pleased but more importantly most thankfull for having High Definition Video create for us not only the memories/video of our wedding but their product is now considered by us and our familiy one of our most prized assets. -

High Definition Video did a remarkable job filming our wedding. Mike and Connie are truly professionals - they know how to get the shots and how to edit it into a spectacular production. We wanted to have something to show all of our family that couldn't make our destination wedding, and we were excited to find a videographer who could make it more exciting than a traditional wedding video. Mike and Connie were able to get us a video short in less than 2 weeks so we could show it at our reception home. It was phenomenal - our friends and family said it looked like a music video! We're so happy with the short and excited to see what our full DVD looks like.
UPDATE: We received our full DVD and it was amazing! The quality was just as good as the short but much longer. Worth every penny! -

I had high expectations about what Mike and Connie could offer, but I have to say that the finished product was even better than expected!! Mike's a true professional and you can tell that he has a real passion for what he does--which makes him go the extra mile to capture each and every moment on your special day (I will always remember him climbing up a coconut tree with his bare feet just so that he could capture the perfect shot). We felt very lucky to have such a talented couple working with us in the Virgin Islands. -

We used HiDEF VI for our wedding and Mike was such a pleasure and did an amazing job, words can not express how great he is at his job. The video was breath taking and for me ( a picky bride) was the best video i have ever seen. I would use him over and over. High Definition Video is a rare find!!!! Michael Williams is the ultimate professional who captured the very heart and soul of our daughter's wedding in St Thomas and St. John, USVI. The beautiful video is a lasting reminder of the rich journey from prewedding preparations, to the Cathedral Liturgy, boat ride to Caneel Bay and Reception. Michael caught the emotions of the day, the touching looks, tender exchanges and total joy of the day! Our family and guests all received a copy of the dvd and were thrilled to have such a treasured memory. The Bride and Groom, too, were estatic and thrilled with the beautiful memory Michael created. We all feel blessed to have found him and to have benefited so richly from his enormous talent!!!

Mike and Connie were awesome! Mike was the first vendor to show up to our Big Day, and he was the last to leave. He went out of his way to get the right shots, even though our day did not exactly go as planned due to weather. The resulting video was perfect-- very professional and well edited, and contained the right moments in the right places. We were impressed by Mike's shots, and that says a lot as we are both professionals in the movie business (I'm a camera operator myself). That said, what Connie did to edit it all together and utilize our music was just perfect. Everyone we show the videos to loves them, as do we. Thanks High Definition Video VI! -

I had Mike from High Def great person to work with, Mike and my husband had a great rapture. He made us feel comfortable and it was like he was not there but he was.
I didn't receive the video as of yet but when I do I will let you know how it came out.

Couldn't rate too much on quality of services etc. because I havn't gotten anything from them!!!!
So, our wedding was in February and we still haven't gotten our video. When attempting to contact them about this they were non-responsive by email and when I called I was TOLD TO SEND AN EMAIL!! I did as I was asked and days later had a response to my email that the video would be sent out the following day and the tracking number would be emailed to me as soon as it was available. A week and a half and another email later, I have heard absolutely nothing!!!!! Mike didn't even shoot the wedding and didn't return my phone call before the wedding. I was surprised when it was his wife who showed up and shot the wedding.
I am very surprised to have had this terrible of an experience given all of the wonderful things I read about Mike. Good luck! -
