We had Geoff shoot our Haldi, and he did such an amazing job! He was super friendly, easy to work with, and captured all the fun, colorful moments while managing a crazy crowd. He was so kind enough to provide us with a instagram reel as well. Even from the previews we’ve seen, the photos look beautiful. Really glad we chose him for the event! Highly recommend. -

Working with Geoff for our Indian wedding was a walk in the park. He was so professional and his presence was calming, sweet and also serious and hard working. We also loved the photobooth that Geoff brought along and his sweet attendant. Everyone in our family was comfortable with him and appreciated that he remembered their names and could pronounce their names well. I would 100% recommend Geoff for any occasion. -

Geoff has been an event photographer for me for almost 10 years. From my quinceañera to my wedding day, he has been using his photography skills to beautifully capture big moments in my life through his lens. He is one of the kindest vendors I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, and always happily accommodated to any requests I had. It has been a pleasure having him by my side throughout my biggest milestones and I’m so lucky to have his photos framed on my walls and around my home! -

I have nothing but good things to say about Geoff and his colleague, Alan. Geoff from the very beginning was so responsive and accommodating. As someone planning a week worth of wedding events on their own, it was a daunting task. Geoff only served to alleviate some of that stress. Geoff captured photos for our engagment, my mehndi and haldi, as well as our Vivah Sanskar, and Christian ceremony and reception during fourth of July 2025 weekend. Each shot is so beautiful and I believe captures our love and our families so well. This will definitely not be the last time we choose to work with Geoff. -

My husband and I hired Geoff for our wedding on 3/15/2025 and we could not have asked for a better photographer or experience! He arrived on time, was so sweet, guided us in all the right ways to get the best photos, and he had our shot lists memorized. He returned our photos to us super quickly after the wedding and he even made a really cute Instagram highlight reel within a day or two that we watched 100 times. The photos were perfectly edited. We couldn’t have asked for more. Geoff is the best, 10/10 recommend! -

Geoff was extremely professional and responsive from the start. We really enjoyed working with him. He sent us sample pictures about an hour after we finished and sent the final results in about two weeks. I would use Geoff again for any professional photography needs. -

Top of the top!
Geoff is something special. He know exactly what to do and does so effortlessly. He photographed me for three days at three venues with different lighting and themes. He adjusted flawlessly. He is so kind and personable, you would think he was part of the wedding party. My husband hates taking photos but he even commented several times how Geoff made it so easy and comfortable for him. The quality of photos were so awesome even before editing. Geoff is a must book.

Could not ask for a better team!
Hidden Gem Visuals was the best team I could ask for. Geoff made the time go so easily. He was prompt, professional, and made everyone at ease. He helped with poses and ideas. He captured all of the special moments. He made sure to take photos of all of our guests.
We also did a photobooth and receiving all of the proofs from the photos guests took. His partner was so attentive and patient with everyone. They also made sure my husband and I took our own photobooth photos. -

Geoff is truly a hidden gem (I get the name now, haha). He is one of the sweetest, kindest, professional, and most talented photographers I have ever met and worked with. I was truly blown away by Geoff’s astounding photography talent as he really knows the right angles and perfect poses. Each and every picture is so crisp and detailed. Also, the turn-around time is only a week and trust when I say, the pictures are of quality. My boyfriend hired Geoff to capture the moment he was going to propose and Geoff did exactly that. Now, I have the most memorable moment to look back on forever through these beautiful pictures Geoff captured. Beautiful Portrait and Candid Photos
I was always familiar with Geoff's work since he has photographed many of my family's events. This was my first time working with him. He was nice, professional, and flexible with last minute requests. My fiance and I did an engagement photoshoot at a park before our Indian event at home.
Geoff has a great eye for detail. He's very good at portrait and candid photos. He captured our special moments so beautifully. Both sets of pictures came out stunning! -

Amazing Photography and Experience
We first hired Geoff to do our engagement party photos and loved the work he did then. Though we went with a different vendor for the wedding, Geoff made himself available for a photobooth like option at a very reasonable rate. Our wedding had over 350 people attending so his live canvas approach independent of our wedding photographer made for an awesome experience. The guests really enjoyed the various props and backdrops and we got some amazing photos out of it. Geoff made everything easy and available to us and even worked with us to customize the design of the picture borders and customize the backdrops to suit our tastes. He was accessible and friendly throughout and we're extremely impressed by the quality of the work that Geoff and his team put together.
Can't recommend him and his team enough. Even the smallest touches really went a long way towards making our special day even more unforgettable. -

We hired Geoff to photograph our Garba event prior to our wedding. There was about 150 people in attendance.
From the beginning introductions to his setup, he was always timely and professional. He spoke with our guests, was pleasant and never “in your face”. He captured formal photos of my husband and I, family photos, and then shots throughout the night. His candid photos were fantastic!
After the event, Geoff provided photos for the slideshow we showed at our reception and had them to us in a timely fashion. He also got us back all of the photos from our event in a little over a week.
We have already begun recommending him to friends and family, and hope ourselves to use him in the future! -
Lurena Sent on 09/18/2018I wanted to hire Hidden Gem for photography but they were booked already when I got back to them. I hired them for the photo booth for my daughters wedding on 9/15/18. I delt with Geoff who was super nice and accommodating. We corresponded several times prior and after booking and then quite a bit as the event got closer as I had some special requests and changed my mind several times, Geoff was extremely patient and accommodating. At my request, he made a special backdrop for me of the Queensboro bridge I wanted because the venue had the view of the bridge. He also added the wedding invitation logo for me as well. All the guests loved him and the photo booth. He was sweet and made the photo booth so much fun. Guests also loved that it was open and could have a group of people take pics rather than the closed one where not many fit. They also loved the 4X6 size pic instead of the small strip pics. (They do offer that one if you want it but it was my personal preference to have the bigger photo) Truly, this vendor deserves 10 stars! Do not hesitate in booking with them before someone else scoops them up. They truly are a Hidden Gem! and reasonable pricing as well. Attached are two photos of the evening with the backdrops, one with the bridge and one with the invitation logo.Geoff sincere thanks to you for a fun photo booth experience! And thank you for putting up with me during those last couple of weeks. :)

Michael Sent on 05/05/2018Geoff is fantastic! Just received the Photos from my Son's Bar Mitzvah! Lot's of natural shots of people smiling having a great time... You can almost feel the emotions in some of the pictures... The posed family shots are also very, very well done! Geoff is a fabulous photographer, I would like to say that he is great to have at an event, but the truth is you barely feel his presence... I guess that is one of the things that makes him so good!
