Hidden Brook Acres was a great place for our wedding! It was very easy, affordable, and I didn't have to worry about hiring bartender. We used a caterer recommended by HB that they had used before and it was incredibly smooth and easy. Honestly, the only thing I really remember about the day is how much fun it was. I never had to get caught up in the logistics of the day. Jeff and Christina are awesome. I definitely recommend Hidden Brook Acres for your wedding. -

When we began the process of looking for a venue for our daughter's wedding. It was so overwhelming, but we knew we wanted local. When we found Hidden Brook Acres, we knew we found the right place. Jeff and his team were phenomenal from start to finish!! The Barn and surrounding area are serene and beautiful!! Plenty of space for all the things. I loved the fact we could pick our own catering and DJ. We were able to bring in our own decor, set up how we wanted, etc. I would recommend this venue to anyone who's looking for a beautiful venue, friendly & helpful staff at a reasonable price. -

Jeff Kuhn and the staff at Hidden Brook Acres were incredible to work with - they helped us with so many things besides just having a place to have our event. During the event, they were around for anything we needed. Lovely people. -

Hidden Brook Acres was an absolute amazing place to have the type of wedding that we wanted. We were looking for a rustic and backyard feeling when it came to the venue. We both grew up in Shelbyville, so to have a place there that we could get married was amazing. The owner was very professional and had great communication at all times during the process and the day. We had some weather interference with our day and the people were amazing at being flexible and helping us still have the great day that we were wanting. They were very helpful on the day of with whatever we might have needed and I would highly recommend you use them for your wedding! -

We had our wedding at Hidden Brook this July and it was nothing short of the BEST DAY EVER. We had an absolute blast, and Jeff and Tina were phenomenal to work with. Jeff helped us through any obstacle that popped up and made planning so easy. Tina caught AWESOME personal details of the day into a video that we have played back time and time again. This was the PERFECT venue ran by the PERFECT people. I cannot express how much we, and everyone involved in the wedding loved it. -

Top Notch Wedding Venue!!
If I could give 10 stars I would! HBA and Jeff are the best! Brandon and I couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue to share with all of our family and favorite friends! Jeff and his team were attentive, paid attention to detail and helpful every step of the way. We did a mini wedding with HBA which means it's on a smaller scale, but includes the venue for ceremony and reception, food, setup, flowers, photographer (though we had our own), deco, alcohol, cake, and planning assistance. It made planning the day so simple and easy AND fun. I would recommend this venue over and over and over again. I can't sing their praises high enough. Liam was the best part of the venue. ;) -

The best venue around
Jeff and Tina are the best team, they make you feel like part of the family and have your back every step of the way to make sure the day is perfect no matter what. Jeff goes way above and beyond any other venue would. My wedding was beyond perfect because of Hidden Brook Acres❤️ -

Magical Hidden Brook Acres
As the mother of the bride, I wanted a special day for my only daughter and we found it— right here in Central Indiana. Hidden Brook Acres is magical. Breathtaking views, a beautiful barn, a romantic tree grove by a brook. It has everything you can imagine, and then some. The venue owner Jeff provides exceptional service. His attention to detail is meticulous. He was attentive from day one. He is an experienced event planner, providing guidance throughout the process. One expects that in a great venue. But Jeff provides much more than that. What makes him so outstanding at his craft are the miracles he performs when things happen that you weren’t expecting. The day of the wedding gets a little crazy, but he was every where we needed him. At one point I thought there were 4 of him because it seemed he was in 4 different places all at the same time. I never noticed Jeff throughout the day, until I needed something or had a question. He was invisible so as not to interfere with any of the festivities, then appeared out of nowhere to help me again and again and again. This venue was very affordable yet provided all the benefits you get from the overrated venues. If you are looking for an overrated venue (like the ones in downtown Indy, Carmel, Fishers or Noblesville), Hidden Brook is not your place. But if you are looking for that magic, go see Jeff. You will not be disappointed. -

Absolutely Amazing!!!
Our wedding was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we toured Hidden Brook Acres, we felt like we were meant to get married there and be a part of the Hidden Brook "family." Luckily for us, it was the first place we toured. The whole property is absolutely beautiful. The bridal and groom suites were fantastic!! From start to finish, Jeff was so helpful and easy to contact. We loved that we got to bring in our own caterer, photographer, etc. Leading up to the wedding, Jeff was involved as much as we needed him to be, planning out the floorplan and thinking of everything we might not have thought of during the weeks leading up to the wedding. The day before the wedding, Jeff and Christina helped with so many things to us feel at ease. The day of the wedding, they were always checking in on us making sure we didn't need anything or to help in any way. My husband and I received so many compliments about the staff, the venue, and the whole evening as a whole. Everyone's still talking about it and it's been almost 2 months. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better place to get hitched. We would do it all over again just to get married down by the creek again!! -

Fantastic Venue
10/10 recommend Hidden Brook Acres! Brad, Jeff and Christina made our wedding day absolutely amazing. The venue is so beautiful and communication between Jeff and Christina was fantastic, I never had to worry about a thing and they were so helpful in finding us the vendors we had not picked out yet. We were able to bring in our own catering, photographer and DJ as well. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we have these guys to thank for helping make it all happen. -

We got married here three weeks ago and we honestly could not ask for more in a venue. We really wanted a rustic barn setting for our wedding and reception. Hidden Brook Acres was the first (and only) venue we looked at. As soon as we stepped on this property, we really felt so loved and welcomed. We knew that if we felt this way, our guest would feel this way too. Throughout the process, Jeff reminded us that he could be involved as much or as little as we wanted and he really held true to that. During our engagement season, there were many times I would freak out about seating or tents or decorations or whatever, and Jeff was always available to chat about ideas. He drew up floorplans for us, reached out to other vendors to get us quotes on tents, and sent us pictures of past weddings for helpful ideas. Hidden Brook Acres really made us feel like we were the only wedding on their schedule. One thing that was really helpful was that Jeff added us into a Facebook group with past couples so that we could get ideas from their experience. It was also really sweet that we got to have our rehearsal dinner at our venue. During our dinner rehearsal and wedding, Jeff and Christina made us feel so cared for by helping us in every way that they could. They really did so much, but I feel like the best example I can give is right before I walked down the aisle, I really needed some water and Christina ran to get me some before the doors opened. She then found me after the ceremony to see if I needed water again. It really made me feel so loved and cared for. After the wedding, my mom commented on how helpful they were during the clean-up process. She said that they were able to get the whole venue cleaned up in under an hour. I really cannot emphasize enough how helpful and loving the staff at Hidden Brook Acres is. Our wedding party, our guest, and everyone who came into contact with the staff during our wedding mentioned how much they loved them. Since the wedding has passed, it feels weird not being in communication with them as often. My mom even noted that in the end they felt like family and so it was kind of sad to say good-bye to them after the wedding. They are the best and the venue is absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough! It is very much my new favorite place on earth!! -

Worden wedding
This place is great. We had so much fun. Love the barn and the staff. It was a cold rainy weekend but with the help of the staff they helped make my day so special. I want to get married again just so I can hangout at the barn again. -

Phenomenal
We got married here a week ago yesterday, and this venue was by far our favorite venue we visited prior to getting married here. Not only because of the price, which is VERY affordable, but the atmosphere and the workers who run this place are phenomenal. Jeff was so quick to respond when you contacted him, and he always stayed in touch throughout up to the wedding which shows who he is as a business owner. One of the things we loved about Hidden Brook Acres was how you get Friday- Sunday to set up and tear down with rehearsal. It made things go a lot smoother than setting up everything the day of and tearing down the same night. Christina and Jeff were wonderful, and so accommodating to us. They were always quick to whatever need we had, the night of the reception they were picking up plates from peoples dinner and filling the bridal party’s glasses without having to ask. At the end of our reception, they had majority of our things taken down and packed away and Sunday when we arrived it was all ready to load up. Christina and Jeff made sure without a doubt we were satisfied the whole weekend and we cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put into this wedding. If you are looking for hospitality with great people and a beautiful atmosphere, then I highly recommend this venue over any barn and I promise you won’t regret it! -

Nicole Sent on 09/18/2018This venue is absolutely breathtaking. You must consider this and go out check it out for yourself. Not only is the space stunning with a rustic barn and plenty of options for the ceremony setting, but the staff is incredibly helpful. Jeff, Brad and Christina were always available to answer any questions we had leading up until our day. They went above and beyond to assist with unexpected needs and were always around to orchestrate the entire day/evening. Jeff even pulled me aside during the reception to give me a heads up that the sun was setting and the clouds were turning a pretty pink... I was able to grab the photographer just in time! We are more than pleased with how well everything turned out and our guests loved the place! While its a bit off the grid and out in the country, it's perfect for those looking for a peaceful place that almost has a destination feel to the event without the cost of a destination wedding.
We used Nameless Catering for the food and did their BBQ option. Also an excellent choice and they know their way around the venue well.
As far as accommodations in Shelbyville go, I would strongly recommend the Holiday Inn. Even though its on the pricey side for the area, its the cleanest and their breakfast buffet is outstanding! I had family that stayed across the road at the Comfort Inn and the place smelled funky and the breakfast was very basic and not fresh. -

Sarah Sent on 03/02/2018Our wedding day at Hidden Brook Acres was so perfect! It was definitely a hot July 22nd but nothing took away from our gorgeous day! Jeff was more than accommodating to be sure I was happy. They have so much land that gives you a variety for photo ops along with the super cute bridal suites (which are air conditioned!) Since we knew it would be hot, we had a snow cone truck come to location at the barn which was an absolute hit! We had the wedding of our dreams and we didn’t break the bank! I highly recommend Hidden Brook Acres!

They were all professional but also very friendly and willing to do ANYTHING to help you out on your big day! We are so glad we chose Hidden Brook Acres! Gorgeous venue and great people!
