Wonderful Venue!

Hickory Ridge was amazing! The staff is so kind, responsive, and accommodating. Lisa made sure that everything was running smoothly throughout the day and Wendy was so helpful in planning! Shout out to Chris for the excellent food and service staff! The venue was beautiful and clean; so many compliments from friends and family.

A perfect wedding experience!

Our wedding at Hickory Ridge was absolutely perfect. There was not one thing we would have changed. We wanted an outdoor wedding that had an “enchanted woods” type of feel and that was exactly what it was. The whole evening was magical and romantic. Wendy and all of the staff helped to make our unique vision come to life, they were professional and kept everything in order and running smooth. The food and service was exceptional as well. We highly recommend this venue.

My dream wedding

Our wedding at Hickory Ridge was amazing. It was the perfect Modern Rusic Oasis.

Wendy and Lisa were such nice women to work with to coordinate the entire wedding. You did not have to worry about one single thing, they either did it or already thought of doing it for you.

Our food selection was fantastic, everyone that came to our wedding was raving about it. You usually hear at weddings how the food is terrible, but not at ours. Hats off to the chef! He even made a recipe that I specially requested!

All in all it was such a beautiful day. My wedding vision came true and it was absolutely perfect.

You will not be disappointed booking your wedding with Hickory Ridge!!

Lisa was the BEST wedding planner! She really met all our needs. We loved the facility and the staff at the reception were very personable and catered to our needs. We could not have chosen a better place. The food was amazing too. I would highly recommend Hickory Ridge for your Wedding Ceramony / Reception.

Beautiful Venue

I was looking for a venue close to home that had the rustic theme. Hickory Ridge fit both those requirements! They updated their carpet/flooring and curtains and it looks beautiful inside. Their price was within a reasonable budget for us. Wendy and Lisa were great to work with and ensured they were there to assist with any questions or concerns we may have had. We only did our reception there but we have also been to a ceremony and reception there as guests and it was beautiful.

An amazing night!

My wedding went without a hitch! The directors were there for me every step of the way. Even the bar and wait staff during the wedding was amazing. Everything was exactly as I imagined. Everyone raved at how beautiful it was inside and out. Thank you!

The perfect day!!

Thanj you so much for Hickory Ridge and staff for making our wedding day so special. Throughout the planning process Wendy and Lisa were very responsive to emails and calls and answered any and all questions we had. The big day went flawlessly with our ceremony out by the lake. Everyone raved about the quality of the food and service at the reception. Could not have asked for anything more!!

They made sure my day was perfect; and it was!

Wendy and the staff were simply wonderful! My own wedding was the first wedding I had ever been to, so me and my husband were really just winging it. The staff at Hickory Ridge made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Every so often throughout the night, a server or Wendy herself would come and ask me how everything was going and if I needed anything; something so simple meant so much to me. I truly had an amazing night and Hickory Ridge helped make my wedding perfect!

Hickory ridge made our wedding day a day to remember!!! From day one to the day of the wedding they worked with us to make sure our day was special!! To the grounds to the food everything was absolutely amazing!!! Our guest had such a wonderful time and complemented how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was!! I will suggest them to anyone looking for a wedding venue!! Thank you again so much for making our day special!!!

I can't thank the staff at Hickory Ridge enough!! We had our reception of about 70 people in the Club House. Being that we live in Florida, I booked the venue before even seeing it! They really made the venue so much better when they replaced the buffet room flooring and redid the "old" bar... it was perfect for holding our place cards and set up for 'in memory of'. We hosted a selfie station in the buffet room as well and it turned out perfect! The staff brought over onto the big deck the fire pit and we hosted a S'mores party on the deck for our guests later in the evening. It was an amazing day that went by so fast. I am so glad that we chose Hickory Ridge. Much love and appreciation from Dennis & Christin in sunny Florida!

We were over the moon impressed with how the day flowed smotthly thanks to Lisa and the wait staff there. The wait staff truly cared and it was remarkable how much they did to make our day special I wish I could relive the day over because it was absolutely amazing!!!

I have absolutely no complaints with hickory ridge. They made our day perfect. The staff was VERY attentive. We were never without a drink or if we needed anything they were right there for us. They assisted in decorating and accommodated every need we had. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, outside and inside. I HIGHLY recommend hickory ridge!

Hickory Ridge far exceeded our expectations for our son's wedding. Wendy was amazing to work with and extremely flexible for anything that we requested. Absolutely beautiful place. Event planners are amazing and very welcoming. I highly recommend this venue as it is very spacious and food is AMAZING! Perfect place for pictures. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!

It was a pleasure working with Wendy at Hickory Ridge. She was so responsive and helpful throughout the course of my wedding planning and on the actual day everything went so smooth! I was able to come in a few days before and set up the room as I'd like to and Wendy was there helping decorate and adding all the final touches. Food was great, staff was friendly and accommodating. My husband and I were so impressed with how quickly the food came out for our served dinner. We had a lot of compliments from guests. I'd highly recommend Hickory Ridge to others.

You definitely get it all when you book with Hickory Ridge. They were so patient and informative regarding details that I wouldn't have thought of. They made every change that I requested immediately. The meal was amazing. So many choices and everyone raved about the appetizer, sides (the loaded potatoes were unreal!!!), and the meats were perfect. The Chicken French is the best by far. The spacious room was also great. everyone was a part of the party at all times. The staff went above and beyond throughout the entire night. We even had another vendor come in and serve ice cream. Hickory Ridge is the best by far!!!

The venue is beautiful and requires minimal decorations. Wendy and the staff were amazing to work with and the reception could not have been more beautiful. Outside is also beautiful for pictures.

The perfect venue for our large wedding reception! Hickory Ridge catered to all of our requests and made the wedding planing enjoyable and easy! The food was delicious, staff was wonderful, plenty of room for all of our guests, many great photo opportunities and every detail of the reception was beautiful. At first I was a little turned off of Hickory Ridge because of the proximity of the RV park to the party house, but don't let that deter you. Hickory Ridge is a wonderful place to hold your wedding. My husband and I loved working with Wendy. She was always responsive and helpful and made us feel comfortable having our reception there. The location is beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests are still telling us how much they loved everything! We had a few things we wanted to do a little out of the ordinary, and Wendy made sure it happened and went smoothly. Thank you to Wendy and everyone at Hickory Ridge for making our wedding day so memorable!

I am so happy that me and my husband had selected Hickory Ridge as our wedding venue! Everything went perfectly; they were very accommodating with our meal/drink selections and the food was amazing! My ceremony and reception were perfect! The ceremony was outside by the gazebo. The gazebo was decorated with the white tulle. I asked the staff to tie my color ribbon to the gazebo and chairs. The staff was very helpful! The pictures done outside turned out absolutely beautiful. The pond and tunnel are perfect spots for pictures. Hickory ridge has made some beautiful updates to the banquet room. My decorations went perfect with what they already had. The food was delicious. My guests didn't have anything to complain about. Our bar was very packed and hickory ridge staffed very well. Guests were able to get drinks whenever they needed. Overall, my wedding day was wonderful. I recommend hickory ridge to everyone. I even had guests at my wedding say that they wanted to have their weddings there.

My husband and I wanted a menu that they did not have Cindy and Wendy both worked very hard to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. I could not have been happier with how everything turned out I had a wedding I will remember for the rest of my life <3

Wendy and Cindy are a pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating for all my needs due to having 258 guests attending. The venue was beautiful and the food was amazing. I couldn't have dreamed for my wedding ceremony and reception to have gone any better. My rehearsal dinner was at Hickory Ridge as well and that was fantastic as excepted. The staff that worked the rehearsal dinner and wedding were professional, friendly, and made sure everything was as perfect as I had dreamed. You cannot go wrong with having your event at Hickory Ridge!

Hickory Ridge was AMAZING!!! The staff were wonderful and so helpful. Wendy was so great to work with every step of the way! The inside was so beautiful from the enormous stone fireplace to the overhead string lights hung from the tall ceiling. We had such an amazing nights with great food and cocktails! The food was great, There were only two bartenders on staff and I thought we were in trouble but not the case they did a great job keeping up and keeping a smile. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. Everything went very well and the bride and groom were quite pleased. What more could I ask for.

Hickory Ridge is a beautiful venue! A number of my family members had weddings at Hickory Ridge and the food was great and room is beautiful, so it was a no brainer to choose it. Wendy was so accommodating and flexible, she answered all of my questions and put me at ease during the process. The day of the wedding she did a wonderful job managing the space, we never felt rushed or uncomfortable. We had roughly 150 people and were in the Party House, which was great for that number. Everyone could move around and talk with each other, the dance floor was great, and the bartenders/catering staff were attentive and professional. There are plenty of places on the grounds to take photographs and it was easy to get in to drop off flowers, cakes, etc. We were even able to set up the day before since there weren't any events before ours. Overall it was a great experience in a beautiful venue!

Wonderful venue fir a wedding

We had my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception yesterday. The venue is beautiful and everyone raved about the food. The staff were friendly, attentive and very responsive. Lisa was a wonderful coordinator. Cindy, the captain if the wait staff went above and beyond even helping us pack up all of our decorations. They made the day very special

Wendy and the staff was amazing at our wedding! The food and service was excellent. As a last minute change, we had our reception in the party house and it was gorgeous! Everything went without problems and that was in big part to Wendy for all her help. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. So glad we chose Hickory Ridge!!

Hickory Ridge Banquet House was wonderful and so beautiful for our rustic wedding! My husband and I actually had our high school proms at this location, and we knew we wanted to be someplace that made us and our guests feel like home. The food was delicious (I was nervous because we never got to taste it before the wedding day) and everything was spot on. Wendy is the coordinator and she was a dream to work with. She made the preparation seamless and the evening flowed smoothly. The only trouble I had was a male bartender that was very rude to members of my bridal party. My matron of honor is pregnant and wanted her drinks for the evening to be served to her husband (my husband and I wanted to take care of our bridal party with an open bar all night for them and limited bar for the rest of our guests - sorry, budget!). The bartender said that would be impossible to do and was extremely rude. Instead of working with us, he chose to not serve drinks to anyone, any guest, the rest of the evening. This occurred at 7 p.m. and we were celebrating until 12:30 p.m. - so he was rather frustrating. My husband and I used to be bartenders, and many of our guests have worked in Country Clubs or restaurants. We didn't feel that this request was too extreme and were disappointed in his service. Otherwise, he was the only fault we could find with evening. The rest of the servers were spectacular and engaging. I am grateful that we chose this rustic, country venue for our wedding!

Our wedding was everything I could have dreamed off. It was amazing how responsive everyone was to questions and needs less than 24hrs. The food was great! And the sceanary for pictures is beyond beautiful. We only heard complaints about one of the bartenders but it was very minor and nothing that was putting a damper on the day. I loved every second of the day and couldn't ask for anything more.

Wendy/Lisa were excellent and the staff day of were so friendly and nice! Very flexible with dietary restrictions. We were out of towners trying to plan the wedding, and only reason they don't get full marks is some mild miscommunication since we were unable to meet in person as much as people who live in the area. However it went off great, and I highly recommend!

Wendy was great to work with! From the very beginning to very end she was so helpful and flexible. The food was amazing!!! The room was perfect! My only complaint is the new bartender, she refused to serve my father a drink right after the ceremony, even after he told her he was the father of the bride and he paid for the event. She still refused to serve him and told him it was only open to the bridal party.

Beautiful venue! Wendy is great and know what she is doing. They were a bit difficult to get in contact with as the wedding season got closer. It was definitely a great value and my guests couldn't believe how pretty the venue was and professional the waiters were.

It was nice that they allowed us to come in and help decorate, and found layouts for the big day that best suited us. The food was fantastic, we had open bar, and the bar tenders along with servers for our table were great, they definitely made us feel like superstars on our big day. The only downfall is that we couldn't take all the food home that we paid for only 2 dishes;m, which was a bummer but understandable due to the health code. It was nice having everything at one place, reception and ceremony, very convenient and quiet area.

Overall, the location was exactly what we were looking for. We had a smaller wedding (under a 100 guests) and the club house fit was we were looking for. I was a little skeptical about the location coming for the big day. Needed some maintenance, but it came together nicely and everything looked great.

I have been working with Wendy for about a year and a half now, and even in the beginning when the wedding was about 2 years away, she was more than helpful and willing to answer any of our questions! It meant a lot that she didn't write us off until closer to our wedding

Overall I was very happy with my experience at Hickory Ridge. In general they responded to my emails quickly and in a professional manner. They also had a gorgeous venue, excellent food and beverage services and gave us almost everything we asked for, which included being flexible with their previously designed packages. However, on the negative side, there were a few things which my mother didn't appreciate when she was liaisoning with them. She felt like they wanted to treat her as if she didn't know what she was doing and were not very quick to respond to her. In addition, there were a few things which we had been promised which were not delivered until the day of the wedding, which was a little nerve racking. Finally, when we selected the food for the buffet we chose oven roasted potatoes and were assured that we could change our selections up until we made the final payment. We later asked them to change to mashed potatoes. This change was never reflected. I should note to be fair that the oven roasted potatoes were very good.To conclude, I am very happy with how my reception went, but you might want to be a little bit more on top of the staff if you want to do anything outside of what their normal is.

We specifically requested 3 types of beer and we were told that all three would be provided but only one was and they ran out of that beer before the wedding was over. That was the only complaint we had.

Overall my husband and I had a very positive experience with Hickory. They had flexible hours (willing to schedule appointments after 5pm), answered all of our many e-mails with questions, and were excellent the day of the event (the site coordinator helped take down decorations, etc.). The only drawbacks we experienced were having to set up our own centerpieces/décor, as that was a major source of stress for us, and not being able to do Chinese floating lanterns for our send-off (Hickory doesn't allow them).

Truly a great experience, a beautiful venue and I'd definitely recommend them!

The venue for the ceremony and reception were absolutely beautiful. The staff was very helpful and the food was delicious. However during pictures we felt very rushed as the coordinator kept stressing time constraints. We felt we were just another wedding party instead of something special which I understand to a degree.

Venue is nice, golfers are not

This is a beautiful venue. Unfortunately the golfers are out during the ceremony yelling obscenities during the service. Why wouldn't you hold golfers back during the ceremony? Some guests thought it was funny, but many did not. Marriage should be taken seriously.
