The absolute BEST! Brandon answered every question, helped us with every request and was so so accommodating when it came to emotion requests regarding deceased parents. He is the best. He helped us navigate the wedding day madness and made the day a breeze. we cannot recommend him and his team enough!

Brandon and Luke were incredible. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We have received countless compliments on how great of a job Brandon did behind the mic. Many saying “this is the best reception I’ve ever been to”. We couldn’t agree more with that. Brandon and Luke checked all the boxes and worked with us on our last minute ideas. They stayed and kept the party going until the very last minute. They made the reception flow seamlessly and everyone had a blast. We are the first to get married in our friend group and everyone was talking about how they want to hire the same DJ at their future wedding! Most fun night ever!

BEST DJ company ever. I attended 2 weddings who used this company first, and loved them so much that when it was my turn to get married I didn’t even research other companies because I knew I had to have them DJ my wedding and they did not disappoint! They have tons of fun ideas to add special touches on everything. They kept the crowd going and the reception flowing. 5 stars for sure!!

The absolute best!

I couldn’t imagine having anyone else at our wedding! Our dance floor was packed the entire night! I never had to worry if we were on schedule, Brandon really took the lead and made the night go so smoothly. They even set up have to allow one of our groomsmen to sing our first dance song.
I had a guest ask me, “did you create this playlist, because it’s perfect”? The answer was nope- that’s just our DJ! 10/10 would recommend to any friends or family! I can’t say enough positive things about our experience!

The best DJ company!

Brandon and his team are the BEST!! He made the planning super simple and easy so we were comfortable and confident going into our big day. He had plenty of helpful suggestions and made sure our night/music was what we had envisioned. Hey Mr. DJ is the BEST in Cincy!

Brandon and his team were awesome and kept the energy going all night! They rolled with some schedule changes and even put up a video of a "Just Dance" song for our guests to follow along to per our request. It was a blast! I 100% recommend booking!

Entire experience was great

They really took time to get to know you and what you wanted for your wedding. Day of Brandon really took the lead at the reception to work with us and all of the vendors to keep everyone on the same page and thing moving the way we wanted. We heard multiple good reviews prior to booking and they definitely lived up to their reputation.

Incredible experience thanks to them!

My wife and I got married more than a week ago and let me tell you, Hey Mr. DJ made it everything we hoped it would be! They killed! Brent met with us and made this a night we won't forget! Everyone who came to our wedding said this was the most fun they have had at a wedding and I can't thank Hey Mr. DJ enough! Overall I wish I could give them a higher score like 10 starts, but I guess 5 will have to do.

The best DJ

We had friends use Hey Mr DJ and we knew we had to use them for our wedding. They do a great job with the flow of the music, keeping your timeline on track, and making sure everyone is having a good time. They are a step above every other wedding DJ we've seen.

Seth kept the party going while understanding how to bring in Danish traditions!

We had a mixed wedding with half of the guests coming in from Denmark, and half that were Americans. Although we initially hired Brandon, something came up and his son Seth stepped in and was amazing to work with as well. He really worked with us to understand how to bring in the Danish songs and traditions. He kept the entire evening right on schedule, and many guests came to us and said what a great MC he was to keep the event flowing without being pushy. After dinner the party went on and on and on. It was incredible. Highly recommend Hey Mr. DJ for your wedding!

Brandon came highly recommended and we couldn’t have been happier with his services at our wedding! From the consultation to the planning call to the wedding, he was responsive, helpful with ideas, and really dug in to find out what exactly we wanted at our reception. Flexible, Amazing DJ services!

Seth was our DJ for our wedding and made sure that every detail was perfect for our big day! From the initial phone call meeting to day-of check-ins throughout the event, HeyMrDJ did a wonderful job to make sure that our event was smooth and FUN! My husband never left the dance floor, and the music transitions were amazing. They played music that everyone could dance to, all night long, and did a fantastic job emcee'ing our event. Knocked it out of the ball park!!!!!

I cannot recommend Hey Mr. D.J.! Enough!! We interviewed three different DJs for our wedding and BY FAR they were the best…from responding to emails, to spending quality time planning with us, to delivering on EVERY DETAIL! Our guests asked us to “keep the party going,” so we ended up having them stay an extra hour!

Everyone we worked with was so professional but also extremely personable. Such a joy to work with!! We also LOVED the help they gave us with suggestions, and their online organizing tools were very helpful and convenient. We also loved the periodic emails they sent out to keep us informed and on track. EXCELLENT communication!!

We needed three different set-ups (one for wedding, one for inside venue and one for outside dance floor). Hey Mr. D.J.! Had all the proper equipment to handle this and they totally knocked it out of the ballpark!!!

On top of it all, their price was great, especially for all they did for us. We hired them without having any prior experience with them and we made the right choice!!!

Awesome Night!

So happy we chose Hey Mr. DJ for our wedding. This was our second wedding so our teenage kids, plus many friends our age and our parents' age were there....and EVERYONE was on the dance floor. Brandon at Hey Mr DJ is the best! With COVID we had to literally change everything the day before and he hung in there with me and assisted in everything! He actually was the DJ at my parents wedding 10 years ago when I was 13 and I distinctly remember him from their night. So when I got married I knew he was the best to work with! Brandon was off the chart AWESOME! Total professional that KNOWS what he is doing and how to get a party started and keep it ROCKIN'!! Our guests had an unbelievable time and literally danced the night away. He provided quality from the beginning and introductions, to dinner music, and then to the party! The Best Wedding DJ!

We went with Hey! Mr. DJ for our wedding in August and we are so glad that we did. All of our guests had a great time dancing all night long and still talk about it. Brandon made everything transition easily throughout the night. He suggested we start by getting a picture of all the guests up on the dance floor and afterwards everyone stayed to dance, even the older guests. I don’t think the dance floor was ever empty. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had and we have Brandon to thank for that. We would highly recommend Hey! Mr. DJ for weddings!

One awsome night!

Our DJ was Brandon and he was FANTASTIC! He transitioned the music perfectly! at no point in our reception was the dance floor empty. Our guests were of all ages, everything from Kiddos to Grandparents, and Brandon did a great job at transitioning between the songs and the different types of music requested. From classic R&B to Bollywood! He even played Baby Shark for the Kids, and everyone loved it! He kept the party moving all night!

We loved our DJ!

We knew Hey! Mr. DJ embodied everything we were looking for in a DJ the day we met with Brandon. He is very personable and fun to work with. He loves helping to create a unique event and was happy to incorporate our dinosaur-theme into releasing guests to the dinner buffet. Most importantly, Brandon (and his assistant) did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor alive. I received several compliments about the great music he played and how well each song transitioned into the next. He was clear and easy to understand the whole night which was something we were looking for to accommodate our guests who are hard at hearing. Also, we were very appreciative that he agreed to provide microphones and speakers for our outdoor wedding ceremony at fairly short notice. Overall, we were very happy we chose Brandon and Hey! Mr. DJ!

Hey! Mr. DJ was extremely easy to work with and provided us with a great time for our wedding. Brandon was able to work with us even though we were planning from 3 hours away, and took the time to get to know us and personalize our wedding ceremony. What I most appreciated was that during the ceremony he made sure we were enjoying ourselves, even helping coordinate with other vendors so that the reception went seamlessly. My husband and I had Brandon as the DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job! We wanted people to be dancing and having fun the whole night at our reception and he definitely got the job done!! Several people told us it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. We gave him very few song recommendations and let him work his magic and we are so glad we did. It took a lot of stress off of me to know I had such a great professional entertaining my guests. We opted to play the "shoe game" and "kissing game" during dinner at the reception and all the guests LOVED it. I highly recommend both.

Bill was awesome! Two friends from work had Bill as their DJ for their weddings, and he did not disappoint for ours! Bill was incredibly professional and so easy to get along with throughout the planning process. He shared great ideas on how we could make our ceremony and reception just the way we wanted via music and entertainment. I can't say enough great things about Hey! Mr. DJ. Patrick was the MC for our wedding and the night was everything I could have asked for and a little more. Patrick took the time to get a good idea of what we were looking for at the meeting before our wedding - he asked us how we would like people to describe our reception - our reply was, "fun". I can honestly say, I never thought I would have so many guests tell me or write me later about how much fun they had at the reception - and how easy it was for them to stay on the dance floor until the end of the night because the music was perfect! Highly recommended! Brandon and his team were great. The song selections were perfect and there was never a dull minute on the dance floor. The photo booth was also a lot of fun. It was great being able to look at all the pictures the day after the wedding in the book that they provided us.

We met several DJs at Bridal Shows and we just weren't loving our options. Then we met Brandon--- and everything he said just seemed to resonate with us. He was very professional and really emphasized how much more the DJ/MC role is than just playing music. He discussed creative touches that we'd never even heard of and reiterated that Hey Mr. DJ would help our day flow seamlessly. We worked with Kyle, who was a perfect match for us. We met with him about a month before and he didn't look the least bit concerned that I love Taylor Swift and my husband loves... the exact opposite. We picked a few special songs out, gave him a list of suggestions and free reign otherwise. Our goal was to put in minimal input and leave the rest to the pro! We didn't even pick our ceremony music- we just gave him our rough ceremony outline/timeline and he did the rest. We could not have been happier! Our bridal party walked down the aisle to the prettiest version of "Can't Help Falling in Love" that I've ever heard. My mom (who walked me down the aisle) commented, "That is BEAUTIFUL" when she heard it playing. Our reception music was really great too. He worked in some of my husband's faves during cocktails/dinner and then got the crowd dancing for the rest of the evening. It was a superb blend of bride & groom tastes and a perfect start to our adventure together. Thanks so much, Kyle & Brandon! We loved working with you!

Ever since our wedding day, we've had several people tell us "yours was the most fun wedding I've ever been to!" We owe those compliments directly to Brandon and Hey! Mr. DJ. Let's be honest, it doesn't matter how much you spend on flowers, an eight-course plated dinner, or white-gloved attendants passing spoonfuls of caviar, none of those things are going to make your wedding "fun." That's what we were going for with our wedding, and, boy, did Brandon deliver! He set the tone from the very beginning of the reception, with introductions of our wedding party that we're still laughing about. From there, he kept everything flowing smoothly and made sure our guests had a great time. From the minute the dance floor opened to the time the lights came on at the end of the night, there wasn't a moment without someone on the floor dancing. If you want to be known as the couple with a fun wedding (and who doesn't?), I recommend Brandon and Hey! Mr. DJ without a doubt!

Truly satisfied with everything. Patrick Ray was our DJ but you are really getting more than a DJ. He acted out as a wedding coordinator with great dj skills! Communication leading up to the wedding was great and always made sure everything was clear leaving no questions unanswered. Patrick was the DJ for our wedding this past September, and could not have done a better job. He was professional, played the songs we wanted to hear, skipped the songs we didn't, and got everyone in the wedding out on the dance floor, including my 82 year old grandmother. Brandon was everything we wanted out if a dj and more. It's definitely worth the investment. He kept the guests entertained all night as there wasn't any dead time where we weren't doing anything. We have been to over 30 weddings in the past 5 years he is by far the best we have seen. When we meet before the wedding, he came up with new ideas to make the wedding unique and he allowed us to be really creative as well. If I'm budgeting for a wedding, Hey! We used Kyle for our event and he was great! Kyle worked really well with us and helped us to pick appropriate music when we weren't sure what to use. We gave him some last minute requests and it wasn't a problem for him. There was a moment during the reception when the music stopped because his computer suddenly shut down. Kyle had everything backed up on his phone and was able to get the music back up within seconds! We are beyond satisfied with Hey Mr DJ's participation in our wedding and could not have made a better choice!

The do not play list is firm. We gave Brandon a guide for how we wanted to night to go and he was great at following and improving our vision. A great example is when the father of the bride made a remark to lyrics in his speech, Brandon picked up on it and played the song when the speech was over.

My wedding reception was AMAZING. Patrick worked tirelessly and with a smile to make sure EVERYONE was dancing the entire time! The music was exactly what we wanted at our event. At our pre-meeting, we discussed music styles and preferences and our DJ said he understood exactly the type of music we liked. He was right. We picked Brandon from Hey Mr DJ because we had been to so many weddings where he had "performed". Trust me, if you've ever been to a Brandon wedding you'll know what I mean. When we got engaged it was the very FIRST phone call we made. My husband and I were so excited that he was available for our date. From the very begining, it was a breeze to work with him. Our first meeting he was in depth and asked a bazillion questions. He really got to know us and our wedding style. He had such great ideas, like roasting our wedding party as a surprise for their entrance. To this day, it is still one of my favorite parts of the wedding!!! His suggestions really helped make our night so much fun. I mentioned that my brother was away serving in the marines and would be unable to attend. I was so upset. He then asked me is there were any ideas I had. My husbands friend is a singer and I had gotten him to agree to sing our wedding song first dance. Brandon got his info and told me he would take care of everything. He would get the info, practice with him, etc. I didn't have to do a thing. It was awesome!!!! The day of our wedding came and it went off without a hitch. Brandon emceed the entire event...like a BOSS!!! I could not believe how much he did. He single handedly ran that event. Seriously, without him our wedding would not have been the same. After the toasts, he came up behind us at the head table and said he has a surprise toast. Two seconds later my brothers voice came over the speakers to give a surprise toast. I completely lost it. It was the most special moment. Brandon single handedly tracked down my sister who got a hold of my mom who go him in touch with my brother to get this toast. A total surprise. He didn't have to do that but he knew it would mean the world. I own a salon and do a LOT of weddings. I ALWAYS refer Brandon and Hey Mr.DJ now!!!!!!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about them!!

We worked with Zach, and we were extremely happy with everything. Zach is quick to communicate with you, and always flexible- willing to meet in person, facetime, calls, texts, emails, & do whatever is necessary to make sure the event is exactly how you want it to be. He was fun, professional, full of energy, involved, and he got our guests involved. I cannot tell you how many times me and my husband heard that it was the best wedding they had ever been too! We met Brandon from Hey Mr Dj and liked him a lot. He is very down to earth and I like that he is a nice and confident guy. A lot of DJ's we met while looking for one for our wedding were so cocky and annoying and Brandon is not like that at all. He is great to work with. It is insane how much work he put into our wedding. I had SO many compliments on him and not just that he played great music (which he did). Everyone loved how creative and different our wedding was which was a huge part to Brandon. We had custom intros for each of our bridesmaids/groomsmen which people LOVED. I thought it was very cool that everyone at the wedding could know a little bit about each of those very special people. Also, instead of just telling the tables in order to go get food we had bride/groom trivia where they had to answer a question about my husband or I and if they got it right they got to go get food but if they got it wrong they had to wait. It was so much fun and everyone was very into it. I was really worried that no one would dance at my wedding (I'm not a very dancey person myself) and the floor was packed the entire night. I danced all night and had so much fun and am so thankful to Brandon. I HIGHLY recommend him. He puts so much work into your wedding and is so different than a typical DJ. He played such a huge role in making our wedding so much fun and I loved how many compliments we got from everyone about him! He is worth every penny!

Brandon from Hey! Mr. DJ made our wedding everything we wanted it to be! As we've never had a wedding before, we really didn't know what we were getting into or even what all we needed. Brandon took care of everything! All we told him when we met with him was that we wanted it to be FUN and that's exactly what we got. Every person who I talked to at the wedding commented on what a FUN time they were having. The dance floor didn't empty until the night was over and they turned the lights on. Guests also commented on several of the more original games/ideas that Brandon had suggested and how great they thought they were. For us, the DJ was in our top three list of most important things for the wedding and Hey! Mr. DJ knocked it out of the park! My favorite part of my wedding day!

Brandon from Hey Mr. DJ hosted our reception. His services went above and beyond anything we could of dreamed possible. We knew from the first day we meet with Brandon that he was our DJ for the special day. All of our guest continuously comment on what a FUN reception it was and how amazing and inventive Brandon was. He knew how to perfectly make our event flow and to most importantly GET PEOPLE DANCING. The whole night our dance floor was packed. We used Jason of Hey! Mr. DJ Entertainment for our 9/27/14 wedding and could not have been more pleased! From the beginning we told him we were a party group and just wanted to dance the whole night, and that is exactly what we did. We danced during cocktail hour and dinner and it lasted the entire night. Prior to the wedding, we met with Jason 2 times to finalize all the details and continued to email/text throughout the process as changes occurred and he was always willing to accommodate. He even responded to my 5am text messages - I swear he never stops working! To say he was attentive and detail oriented is an understatement - he knocked it out of the park. Best part of the entire night, the Father Daughter Dance. Jason created a speciality mix just for us to dance too and it was an absolute hit...the guests continue to talk about how it was the BEST part of the night. Thank you Jason for keeping the party going for our crazy group. Highly recommend!!!

Zach was amazing and kept the party going all night! We wanted our wedding to be a party and we weren't too particular on which songs to play when, etc and just meeting with Zach and discussing a few ideas, he was able to put together the perfect song selection for us and we had an incredible time. He was a great MC in that he was there for the important things, but not constantly on the mic bugging everyone all night. He was great to work with and we truly enjoyed having him there to celebrate with us!

Jason Lefker was a complete joy to work with. My then Fiance and I met with Jason on multiple times, because Travis and I were "overly worried about playing the right music" Jason would always say, "I got it, trust me (with a smile,) and don't worry, its going to be awesome" Well I should have listened from the beginning, he was AWESOME! He played exactly what we wanted, gave him specific genres we wanted to stay in, and he did. What I loved most was he knew how to make everyone get up and dance, and knew certain songs to play that worked for the entire crowd. Everyone was dancing, everyone was having a great time. My family is Catholic Conservative, and there were young adults all the way up to realitives in the 80's, THEY ALL WERE DANCING! I can't thank you enough Jason for making my wedding very memorable. I truely believe a DJ can make or break your reception, Jason you definitly MADE ours! I look forward to using your services in the future!

Brandon did such an incredible job emceeing our wedding on 10/19. My husband and I had originally seen Brandon's work at a friend's wedding 2 years ago and were so impressed that when it came time for our wedding, we didn't consider any other DJs.

Brandon is so personable and works hard to make your wedding entertainment customized, personal, engaging and relevant. He has great ideas and offerings to help make your wedding stand-out and really tell your story.

My husband and I were so happy with the hysterical intros that he created for our wedding party, the voiceover messages that were incorporated into our first dance and mother/son and father/daughter dance, and just the way he hosted and controlled the night. We had so many compliments from friends about how original our first dance was, how funny the intros were, how they loved the voiceovers and how everything ran so smoothly. My Uncle even said, "You guys are really putting on a show!" I really feel like we got MUCH more than we paid for. It was so nice working with Brandon and it's a shame that we can't host another big party like that for a while. We will definitely recommend his to all of our friends (although we won't need to because they saw your work first hand)

We couldn't say enough good things about Brandon, he was the best dj I've ever heard. So many people came up to is saying we had the best wedding because of the dj. He had clever ideas and surprises throughout the whole wedding. Our DJ, Patrick, was awesome! Our guests stayed engaged and dancing the entire night. He was very polite and professional. I requested a lot of uncommon music and he was able to provide those song requests. Our venue had a lot of stairs so there was a lot of going between floors and he did so seamlessly. He brought us water outside while we were doing pictures and even assisted our elderly grandparents. He worked nicely with our other vendors to organize the day. I was extremely pleased with Patrick and our decision to use Hey Mr Dj!

I would highly recommend Hey! Mr. DJ for any event! Our wedding was the best day of our lives and our reception was a blast. We had such a great time and our guests did too. Everyone was amazed with the introduction of our wedding party, music and the games. Everything was so personalized and special to us as a couple. Our evening flowed so well because of Brandon's planning which made everything stress free for us. I wish I could get married every weekend because I loved my wedding and reception so much and had so much fun.

Hey! Mr. DJ Entertainment was fantastic! Our DJ, Jason is one of the owners of the company, and he far exceeded our expectations. We used Jason at Hey! Mr. DJ for our wedding in Frankfort, KY on June 28th! Man, did he do AMAZING! He literally brought the party. He was so much fun and I can honestly say that every single person that attended, no matter the age, had a blast. From the beginning to the end it was so much fun. I wouldn't have had my wedding any other way. I am so grateful for Jason and to have found such a great company to help me celebrate the best day of my life. When he arrived the first thing he did was ask how everything was going, saw if there was anything he could help out with and helped me and my girls "keep our cool" before going out. After the ceremony he got with the bridal party and pumped us up for the rest of the night. He was so much fun! Throughout the night he had fun games and dances for everyone to do and he kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Before we did toasts or introductions or special dances (father daughter, mother son) he always came and found us to make sure we were ready or if we wanted to do it in a few minutes. Jason and Hey! Mr Dj is definitely a company I would use again for another function and I hope someday I have the chance to!

For our wedding, we requested Zach after seeing him in action at a friend's wedding reception. Zach brought his protege, Kyle, as the DJ. Zach truly shines in this line of work; he gets to know you in order to make your reception unique to you and your guests and he goes above and beyond to meet and socialize with you before the big day. Everyone loved the way our wedding reception flowed and stayed high energy. Kyle did a great job playing our requests and he was just as personable, professional, and fun as Zach. It was the perfect reception, and we truly have these two guys to thank.

Our wedding reception was a blast thanks to Brandon at Hey! Mr. DJ. He kept the party going with some great mixes and read the crowd well. The company has a great online tool for picking out music that you want played at your reception. We were a little tight on time and left most of the song selection to them and all went great. Brandon added some classy touches like carrying our dinner to our table for us and surprising us with a special song. Hey Mr. DJ is a little more expensive than some other local DJs but the DJ can make or break the party and we felt like it was worth the money. We only wish the party could have gone all night!!
