I hosted a corporate award event for my company Frito Lay. Hey Mr.DJ did an amazing job overall with, music, photo booth and capturing moments of our event. I had a wonderful experience with Glenn and his team and highly recommend his services!

This is from Recreonics this is absolutely one of the best teams I have ever seen they been over backwards to assist in any way they can . To make sure you have the best outcome possible. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone no matter how small or how did the project is you definitely want this team on your side.

Hey Mr. DJ was the best choice we made for our wedding! Everything they handled went perfectly. Honestly I wish I would have had them just do everything! Not only did the DJ play all the right music, but he also got the crowd loose and helped everyone start having fun. The Newlywed game was a definite highlight. Our video edit was amazing and our pictures were top notch. When we first met with Mr. DJ he had so many ideas to make our wedding better, it felt like we had a third person helping us plan it. I can't even express how comforting this was and how calm it made us both feel! Every step of the way Hey Mr. DJ helped us make our day so memorable. Can't recommend them enough!!!

Turning to Glenn and Hey Mr. DJ long before our daughters wedding, Glenn educated us more than anyone in the business, on how to make a successful Reception and how to keep the night flowing with out losing a lot of money having hourly people standing around. I have Hired Hey Mr. DJ in the past for my company party's as was always fantastic and most reasonable in the business. Referred him for my Daughters wedding, if you have a daughter you know how that goes, the moment she met with Glenn she knew right away he was the DJ for the Job. Thanks Hey Mr. DJ for a great consultation as well and a blast at the Wedding Reception!!

Glenn Davis and Hey! Mr. DJ! are absolutely wonderful! We had a service for my mother and her new husband (CONGRATS!) Danny, and Glenn made everything go smooth as silk. He took care of the catering, DJ, photo booth (LOTS OF FUN, AND EVEN HAD A REAL PHOTOGRAPHER!), videography, photography, and he even decorated the entire event with beautiful linens, center pieces, and up lighting. His enthusiasm and professional demeanor are just the icing on the cake to the degree of service and value he provides. I couldn't be happier with the way my mother's service turned out, and to see that smile on her face from having such a special day is something i will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you so much Hey Mr. DJ! You all were wonderful, and made all of our lives that much easier (and that day SO MUCH more special!!!)

Tony was our personal DJ and he was AWESOME!!!! We had a wedding/Halloween Party. He came dressed in a pirate costume. Was very flexible and did everything that we asked him to. He is a very jovial guy and if we ever need DJ services again, rest assured we will be contacting Hey! Mr.DJ! again. He really helped us to make it a night to remember, got everyone involved and on the dance floor. We could not ask for better services.

Glenn is very professional and made our reception entertaining by playing interactive games with the crowd.We were given many, many compliments about the DJ service. Hey Mr. DJ is helpful at bringing the whole reception together and taking care of all the small details. We highly recommend Glenn Davis and Hey Mr. DJ.

I can't say enough great things about Glenn and Hey! Mr. DJ! From our very first meeting (a year before our daughter's wedding) until the very last song was played, he was helpful, professional, and just a lot of fun to work with. He went out of his way to make sure that our daughter and her new husband got to dance to a special song that was written for them, even though he didn't get the jump drive that contained the music until hours before the ceremony. He then found a way to incorporate the song they had originally chosen for their first dance into a Generation Dance. He kept the dinner hour lively and fun, had everyone out on the dance floor, and went over and above to make sure that our event was perfect. I'd love to have another event, just so I can book him again!

Hey Mr DJ did a awsome job. He played all the music I requested and interacted with all the guest which made them feel like they were just as important as the bride and groom. He is confident in his job which transforms in his work.The music sounded great and and he stayed enthusiastic even while our guest didn't dance much because they are very laid back crowd. I recommend Hey Mr DJ to anyone.

we used this service for our holiday parties and they were wonderful. They interaction with the group and kept the party going. Had a variety of music for every body a very diverse group of people and everyone was able to enjoy them selves. Recieved great feedback after the party for how wonderful the dj was. No wedding will be perfect; so do not strive for perfection. Work with people who you and your future husband feel comfortable with. Ask questions and have ideas, but be open to new ideas. I was referred to this vendor (Hey Mr. DJ) by the wedding photographer. Upon reaching out the vendor immediately contacted me via phone to provide his website and to get a general concept of my needs. Post our phone conversation Hey Mr. DJ sent me an email that contained a link to his website along with a special quote based on my needs that was unbeatable by any other company locally or otherwise, since I live in Indianapolis and my wedding was in Kentucky. Hey Mr. DJ made accommadations for me to meet with him at a half point to finalize contractual details and had no problem with travel at no extra charge. I strongly recommend this vendor as he was not only professional but persoanable, I felt as though I had known all my life. My wedding and reception was a success thanks to Hey Mr. DJ. and I couldn't have been more pleased or had more fun.

Glen was the best! He kept every guest at our reception dancing the entire night. He coordinated with the staff at Horshoe Casino to ensure that our reception went off without a hitch, and was very profesional. We could not have been more pleased with his service! He is very good at what he does, and his price was more than reasonable.

Brandon from Hey! Mr. DJ did such a wonderful job at our wedding! We did not provide much guidance for music selection to Brandon, but he hit our style on the head! Everything was perfect! He preformed our ceremony as well as music for the reception and I could not ask for anything better! Wedding ceremony

I had a wedding on short notice and Glenn was very kind and helpful. Anytime I had a question he was clear and reassuring. The venue was beautiful and the day went well. Definitely a cool and flexible guy to have on your special day.

I had a bit of a fiasco prior to Hey! Mr. DJ! My husband and I had booked a different DJ and a week and a half before our reception, we were told he had quit DJing. I was in a frenzy to find a new DJ in such a short time frame. Glenn with Hey! Mr. DJ! was fantastic from start to finish. Despite not having much time to plan out my reception details, Glenn was flexible with his availability to ensure we got to meet in person before the reception. Not only was he flexible with his time, but also with some changes that occurred on the big day. Glenn and his team did a great job with games to get (and keep) people involved and entertained, as well as a great job with the song selections. Our favorite game was "Name that Show Tune" and guests seemed to enjoy it also. We received quite a few compliments on our DJ, which was awesome considering we had found Hey! Mr. DJ! just a week before the reception. Thank you Glenn and team for all you did for me and my husband!

he could have used another person! we had 2 music systems and the music for the ceremony was late because he was still setting up the reception music. Over all it was very professional and fun! Glenn Davis even helped clear the tables! We would recommend Hey Mr. DJ to other couples! He provided a full entertainment service for our wedding and we really enjoyed it.

Hey Mr. DJ did a great job hosting a photobooth for our company party. Glenn was onsite early to set up the props and booth, cleaned up quickly and easily, and was attentive to both the booth and to the party attendants. He walked around taking candid photos throughout the party, and also was able to give good shots in the booth.

His planning help and quick replies were much appreciated!

We really did have an excellent pre wedding experience with Hey Mister DJ, but come wedding day, things went downhill fast!!! Our reception was to start at 6 and and 6 my MOH informed me (very calmly) that the DJ left to go pick up his coworker because his car had broke down. Now don't get me wrong, I understand things happen, but he left without even telling us and when we finally got a hold of him his response was something along the line of "I left music playing, I will be right back."
The party went on and I really feel like our guests enjoyed the music that was played and the attention he gave everyone, but WOW, talk about a heart attack!

We had a lot of positve feedback from our guest saying that the DJ kept the audience entertained before the bridal party arrived. However the DJ called an hour before the wedding saying he wasn't going to be able to make it and was sending someone else from his company, this was very stressfull not knowing what to expect. We also had requested a specific entrance song, this song was played for the bridal party and not for the bride and groom. The main parts of the reception were really rushed by the DJ.

Consider someone else for catering for sure!

The most important thing to my husband was good food. We had already hired hey mr DJ for DJ services and thought we would schedule a tasting. Presentation was beautiful and the food was delish. We were told the catering would include everything (plates, forks, cups etc) and they would decorate the buffets to match our theme. We were torn because I really liked lady fingers, however chose to go with hey Mr Dj. This unfortunately was a mistake. The baked potatoes were not edible, they were completely raw. We requested green beans, which were not served until after over 1/2 my guests had gotten their plates. My husband and I were super surprised to see they decorated their buffets lines using our decorative table cloths, and did not ask first. I assume they found them
at the venue and helped themselves. We had to ask for butter for the potato bar as it was not out. Although it was not needed because the potatoes were impossible to eat. The chicken at the tasting had a nice seasoning on them, however the chicken served at my wedding was plain chicken breasts with no seasoning floating in water (and dried out). Cake cutting I was originally told was included ended up being a charge and I was told I had to purchase plates, napkins, forks etc. 🤦‍♀️. I wish we had stuck to only the DJ services. The DJ was super nice and interactive. I did reach out to Glen Davis to tell him about our experience before posting this and he seemed to offer several excuses. He admitted having a “new chef” but felt the food should have been the same as they follow the same recipes. I was very disappointed and to be honest embarrassed 😞. Many and I mean many of my guests raved about the DJ, cake, and decorations but openly admitted the food was not good. Again shall I say embarrassed 😞. He offered a free bounce house for my kiddos this summer, but the truth is, I felt like he really didn’t care. He said he was told the potatoes were undercooked from the DJ but overall food was good. Well I am the paying customer, and apparently what I feel is unimportant. Even though the DJ was great, knowing what I know now about the lack of care from Glen, I will never use their services again. Not only myself but all family and friends. Very sad because we had such high hopes and bragged about how good the night was going to be including the food. This should have been the case considering the price we paid. With all this said, I would highly recommended lady fingers which is what I should have stuck with. Hey Mr Dj was a let down for sure😞.

Well... let’s just say we did have a great time as the night went on, but we had lots of issues.. timing of songs was off for the ceremony. My wife had to tell the dj those songs multiple times through out the day. Even though they were on a flash drive, on paper and in an email. Our entrance in the venue was a mess. We were announced as mr. and mr. and our song didn’t even play... it was the loud sound of the system acting crazy..so we entered to everyone screaming.. had to remind the dj to play the songs we sent over for dinner time.. and the schedule of events didn’t work out so cake cutting and first dance was off.. as the night went on it got better.... then they called me the wrong name. The dj had a great amount of energy and dance moves. But my wife told Glen she wants someone low key... Everyone had a great time. Thank god the food was amazing and the venue was nice. But as for the dj, for the amount of money I spent, I’m not happy. I had a great time because of my wife, family and friends. Just too many issues with the sound system, timing and getting our names right...

The Most Unprofessional Business Ever!

I don’t think anymore needs to be said about this guy, just look at his response to the bad review at the bottom of the page! He literally responds by outing this guys name, and then proceeding to blame the customer. I was a client of his and I don’t think he will remeber me nor will he be able to respond with my name and excuses as to why the problems were my families fault. We kept getting talked into more and more options from this guy and regret every single one of them. Lets go through them...
- showed up in shorts (never changed)
- ran out of specialty drink
- decided to charge guests for drinks even though we paid him up front for all beer and wine
- never played any guest entertainment games that were discussed
- we payed $100 for extended time for the photo booth and it was closed 1 hour earlier than agreed upon
- we had a taste test and i told my wife I bet he jist got Mark’s Feed Store to go and on the wedding day the food was nothing like what we had at the taste test it was worse than school cafateria food!
- finally this scum bag forgot two pieces of equipment behind at the venue, blamed me and then sent me an invoice!

He is quite honestly the worst memory we have of the wedding. If i can save just one person from using his services then this reviews counts for something!

I want to start off by saying that I am extremely unhappy with the way my wedding was handled. I was told originally that I may not have you (Glenn) as the DJ at my wedding, but it would be someone with the same attitude and enthusiasm. I was also told that the person I got would be "up to speed" with the details of the wedding/reception. Boy, was I misinformed. I filled out all the info sheets and timeline for the wedding/reception for a reason. Instead DJ Nigel was constantly coming up to me, while getting ready & during the reception, to find out the details. My mom, Ann (a repeat customer) was the contact, NOT ME! During the ceremony there was a microphone and speaker outside. Thank goodness my photographers knew what to do because they were the ones that had to set up the wireless mic, or we would have had to walk over wires during the ceremony. At the reception there was no uplighting as promised (agreed on 8 uplights), just a disco ball light. While the wedding party was taking pictures, there was no "get to know the guest game" to keep the guests entertained while they waited. When it came time to eat, it was like a free for all! There was no organized dinner dismissal. He never announced anything about the toasts, or that we were about to cut the cake. No one knew about when we had our 1st dance, or that the father/ daughter, mother/son dances were going on. Overall DJ Nigel was extremely rude and unprofessional!! He even told the guests that requested he play a song that he was going to play what he wanted. The DJ is such a crucial part to a wedding and I CANNOT believe that the entire reception turned out like crap because I didn't get what I was promised. I used Hey Mr. DJ because my mom had previously used you for a work function and was extremely satisfied. I will say that I was far from satisfied. I would not recommend your company to anyone after the way my wedding was handled. Ruined my wedding reception!!!

He promised all these things...games, songs, getting our guest involved and etc. We went will him because he had a good price and seemed like he knew what he was doing. 2 days before my wedding he calls and says that he will not be at the wedding he would have another DJ step in that night which we was ok with us as long as the guy knew what we had discussed. The guest showed up and the DJ didn't know anything to play or do any of the games that were suppose to be played. When the wedding party arrived he didn't know our names or any of our songs that we had sent to Hey Mr DJ. We spent 15 mins of the first part of our reception talking to the DJ telling him all the songs that needed to be played...our first dance song..father daughter dance...mother son dance...and so on. We would not recommend this business for your wedding.
