I cannot say enough good things about Hewitt oaks and Southern Graces Wedding Planners. They made every dream of mine and my husbands come true, even down to our late night nacho bar and not so traditional Pittsburgh Cookie Table that people still rave about anytime we talk about the wedding. Crystal was a rock star and make everything so simple and easy, I didn’t have to worry about any of the “stress” that comes along with wedding planning because I had someone I trusted 100% to make all my dreams come true. I recommend Hewitt Oaks to anyone I talk to that’s planning a wedding!! -

Hewitt Oaks was an absolute dream from start to finish. Every single person we worked with made us feel cared for, celebrated, and completely at ease. From our very first inquiry to our planning meetings with Cait and through the wedding day itself, the entire team went above and beyond to make everything seamless.
Cait was a dream to work with. She immediately understood our vision and helped us bring it to life with such care and attention to detail. She was responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly patient with all of our detailed questions, which meant so much as we planned our wedding from over 400 miles away. Her expertise and warmth made every step of the process enjoyable, and every detail felt intentional and personal.
And the food—our guests are still talking about it! Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and served with care. The service team was exceptional and made everyone feel welcome. Hewitt Oaks truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We are endlessly grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day feel effortless, joyful, and completely unforgettable.

My husband and I are so grateful we chose Hewitt Oaks as our venue. From day one we fell in love with the location and the staff. The grounds are so beautiful with live oak trees, spanish moss and low country charm. We were so lucky we got to work with Bethany Hewitt as our planner and her wonderful assistant BeBe. Bethany is the most hardworking and passionate vendor I have ever met. She took our vision and brought it to life. My husband and I were in awe of how wonderful everything turned out. It truly felt like a fairytale. We still have guests messaging us telling us it was the most incredible wedding they have ever attended. Our decor was picture perfect and the food was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Hewitt Oaks. The process start to finish was a great experience. -

An Exceptional Job from Top to Bottom
Wow, where do we even begin?! Working with the Hewitt Oaks team was a dream come true. From the very beginning, the entire staff at Hewitt Oaks exuded the utmost professionalism, warmth, and a genuine commitment to making our special day absolutely perfect.
We got married in April 2024 after a nearly two-year long engagement, and the Hewitt Oaks team held our hand every single step of the way, guiding us down the path to success and helping to make our vision come to life. Brigette, our wedding planner, did an incredible job - she was responsive, attentive, and accommodating, always willing to answer our (many, many) questions and making sure we stayed on track. We can’t hep but to mention Bethany, the owner and event designer, too - she is an absolute gem of a person, making sure that we felt taken care of throughout the entirety of the process leading up to (and throughout) wedding day. We can’t say enough about the job those two did!
Obviously, the venue itself is breathtaking, but what truly sets the Hewitt Oaks team apart is their attention to detail in the decor and ambience, which transformed the venue into the EXACT vision we laid out to them. The catering was exceptional as well; we’re not talking about “wedding food” here. Hewitt Oaks provided what felt like a fine-dining experience for us and our guests, and had everyone talking about how good the food and service was long after wedding day had come and gone.
Overall, we cannot recommend Hewitt Oaks highly enough. They made our wedding day not only memorable, but truly magical, and exactly what we had in mind. If you’re looking to get married in the Lowcountry, look no further than Hewitt Oaks to help turn your special day vision into reality! -

Hewitt Oaks is a sincere 10/10 for me. As a newly engaged couple, my husband and I were immediately overwhelmed with all the decisions heading our way. First up was the venue. Hewitt Oaks was on our list and (honestly) at the top of our budget. Our tour was with the OWNER of the venue- that alone spoke volumes to us. Bethany has a hand in every detail and made every step of the way personal, special, and memorable. We toured the same day they had an event and it was impactful how many staff members they had and the attention to detail we saw. They were literally re-landscaping to match that events colors and themes.
Once we knew they had availability, we said "YES" immediately.
THEY ARE EXPERTS!! Our planner, Brigette, was amazing and took care of EVERY detail (even the ones we had not thought to ask about. She got right to the heart of our theme, design, and dreams for the day and RAN with it. From helping us pick out the appetizers for cocktail hour, to bringing us some while we were taking photos to make sure we ate, she was by our side. She orchestrated the day perfectly.
Their preferred vendors list is a gold mine for professionals in the area.
The value is unmatched at Hewitt Oaks. If I knew then what I know now, choosing Hewitt Oaks would have been the EASIEST decision of my wedding planning! Do it!! -

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Hewitt Oaks for hosting our wedding. From the get-go, Bethany and her team welcomed and guided us through the entire planning process, making an oftentimes stressful experience an enjoyable one - truly having everything I could ever imagine or want for part of our day. I mean, what other venue has six chandelier options to choose from!? Not only that, but they completely understood my vision better than I could have imagined it and carried it out so beautifully and thoughtfully. And I was absolutely blown away the day of. The attentiveness and hospitality was unmatched, and our guests were equally as floored - I can’t tell you how many people came up to me to express how impressed they were (to which I replied, ME TOO!) From the food to the drinks and ambiance, the hard work that team puts in day in and day out is truly stuff of magic. My husband and I spent the rest of our weekend talking about how it truly made all the difference in the world being at Hewitt Oaks and was the best decision we ever made throughout the process (aside from the whole getting married thing 😉). -

WOW! Look no further, Hewitt Oaks is your sophisticated, elegant, and timeless venue that really covers it all...planning support and catering in the stunning Lowcountry. We were looking for a venue that accentuated the natural beauty of the area and was capable of providing a wonderful experience for our special day. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and dancing all outside under the angel oaks. The Hewitt Oaks team took our vision and brought it to life! I am not sure if we got more compliments on the food (which was delicious), the venue including the landscaping, or the overall experience the Hewitt Oaks team provided. We worked with Madi Campbell whose unyielding patience, guidance, and support during the planning process was unparalleled. The Hewitt Oaks team made our wedding dreams come true and we will forever cherish the memories they helped us make on our special day. -

The Perfect Wedding
BOOK HEWITT OAKS FOR YOUR WEDDING! Trust me, you will not regret it. The natural beauty of Hewitt Oaks is unmatched. It is even more stunning in person than in photos. The food catered on site by Chef Christopher is unbelievably delicious, by far the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding. They provide the highest quality florals and rentals to put beautiful finishing touches on an already gorgeous setting. But what really sets Hewitt Oaks apart from any other venue is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and their all inclusive packages. Hewitt Oaks, and especially our rockstar wedding planner Crystal, made the entire planning process a breeze and flawlessly executed our event on the day of the wedding. Everyone at Hewitt Oaks went above and beyond to ensure that me, my husband, and our families could relax and enjoy every moment of the day. We will be forever grateful for the memories this provided us! Hewitt Oaks absolutely knows how to throw the perfect wedding. We are blown away by their venue, food, planning services, and their entire staff and I can't recommend them highly enough! -

Great venue
Hewitt Oaks has been great from the beginning until the end. We had to postpone because of Covid and I have family from Canada. They helped us find a new date and it was very easy. Planning was easy, the food tasting was great and the day of the wedding was more than perfect. Everybody was so nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this venue 100%. It is gorgeous there and our pictures are unbelievable! -

I highly recommend using Hewitt Oaks for your wedding day. They have petite wedding packages that were able to accommodate our smaller guest list (due to COVID) all while still making the day feel super magical. Our day was set to be outside, ceremony and reception, however, there was a threat of rain. The staff was quickly able to move the reception inside seamlessly. Moving the reception indoors was probably the best decision, our guests never left the dance floor. I think this would have been different if we stayed outside, since it was so hot out. Food was delicious! Signature drink was delightful and refreshing. It was also super helpful they handed all the details by dealing with the flowers, cake, centerpieces, etc. The staff, all around, were super sweet and helpful. Kristyn, my day of coordinator made sure things ran smoothly and she is such a sweetheart.
My only and biggest disappointment was the photographer. We had our photographer included in our package. I was not able to gain access to her information beforehand, which is fine! However, I would have preferred having a conference call between Hewitt Oaks, the photographer and myself to go over what I wanted and my expectations. The grounds on Hewitt Oaks is one of the main reasons I was drawn to it and I just felt our photographer did not utilize that to her advantage. Many of our photos had the same background (one of the buildings). I wanted the trees and Spanish moss to be a big aspect of our day and photos and there were not many, so that was a huge let down.
Overall, this is the perfect wedding location with that great southern charm. The staff went above and beyond and our day was absolutely beautiful.
