Dreamy Wedding

Becky and the staff at H&L’s were nothing short of amazing. Helpful, efficient, and organized all the way through. Aside from its rustic charm and elegance, H&L’s exudes a warmth and loving feeling / one you certainly wish to experience during your wedding day! We couldn’t recommend this venue enough, as it exceeded expectations for an absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable day. -

Herman & Luther’s was the PERFECT venue for our wedding. Leading up to our big day, Becky got many questions from us and was always so happy to answer them. And very quick with responding too! From being able to get ready on site, the option to have breakfast & lunch (of course we did, we had an army of a wedding party lol), ceremony outside (YAY for the weather being PERFECT!), cocktail hour, AND reception all at ONE location; was a LIFESAVER. I couldn’t imagine being at different places that day. Our wedding was on 11/3/23 and people are still RAVING about the food!!! The staff who worked our event was wonderful as well. If we could do it all over again, we would book Herman & Luther’s without a doubt! So happy to be a local so we can stop in for lunch during the week and enjoy some of the amazing food! -

Gorgeous venue
I couldn’t recommend this venue enough!! It was the perfect place to have our big day. From the beginning, the general manager, Becky, was supportive answering all our questions and making our dreams come true! Herman & Luther’s is absolutely GORGEOUS itself but also has a beautiful mountain view. The food was impeccable, we got so many compliments from our guests. We had about 260 guests and we were accommodated very well. -

The most perfect wedding venue in central Pennsylvania!
WOW. Where do I even begin with this venue??!! From the moment I got engaged, I knew Herman & Luther’s was going to be the place! Becky is a god sent! She made sure we had all our questions answered every step of they way. We were never in the dark about anything. The carriage house was the perfect place for the bridal party to get ready and also posed as the most perfect spot for pictures! And the food…oh my! My guests talked about it for weeks after the wedding. Everyone was amazed at how beautiful it really is there! All the staff at Herman & Luther’s treated us like family and it was honestly the best day of our lives. I wish we could relive it every weekend! It truly is the most beautiful place ever! -

Herman & Luther’s is the place to hold your rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception. It was perfect from start to finish. Becky was absolutely wonderful to work with and gave us so many ideas. She runs a tight ship. They have everything down pat! She is so friendly and honestly one of the reasons we booked Herman & Luther’s. The staff at Herman & Luther’s were very professional and fun to work with. The venue itself is just simply gorgeous!
It was a beautiful day, a little drizzle, but rain on your wedding day is good luck. They also have the Carriage House right on the property which is where we all got ready. We want to do it all over again! -

Too Good to be True
Working with Becky and the staff at Herman and Luthers was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding. The service is unmatched here. From the start it was very easy. Becky is very organized and had everything laid out in detail for us. She even had a vendor list which I used to choose most of our vendors. The venue itself is gorgeous and our wedding guests are still talking about how beautiful it is. The food is to die for. Everything we chose was delicious and had people wanting to come back for seconds. The staff throughout the night was incredible. The bar staff held some of my favorite drinks because they didn’t have too many left and they wanted to be sure I had some. They always made sure my husband and I had a drink. They helped us clean up at the end of night too. The entire staff here is unlike any other staff I’ve ever worked with. They strive to go above and beyond in every aspect for your day. I can’t say enough good things about this venue and their staff. They truly have something special going here. If you are considering Herman and Luthers for your event, look no further. -

Truly Amazing
This location was our dream I knew when I got proposed to I knew right where to go. It’s magical in every way . The landscapes and the beautiful building inside and out. The food was beyond amazing and the staff made sure our day was perfect! -

Choosing Herman and Luthers for our wedding venue was the best decision we could have ever made! I grew up around the venue and always loved driving by with how beautiful the barn and property were -- when we chose the venue, we lived in North Carolina at the time and knew we'd be moving across country while also planning our wedding. We chose H&L because while, yes its a gorgeous venue, we needed wedding planning to be super easy, relaxing, and needed the venue to have it all. Becky was beyond amazing with helping us coordinate, even from far away. The barn has everything you need: table linens, plates, silverware, cups/glasses, chargers (different colors to choose from, we chose gold to bring together all of our decor without spending tons of money), and Becky even grabbed some cute decor that matched ours to also put around the food and cocktail tables (she's the best!). The FOOD! Everyone talked about how delicious the dinner and apps were. We stayed in the carriage house and the staff delivered food to anyone getting ready during the day --- so so needed! (girls on one side, guys on the other). Let me just tell you... if you want a relaxing day thats not stressful whatsoever and you actually can enjoy your wedding.. choose the carriage house. It was so easy to have everything at the venue and not have to travel to get hair/makeup done. We were there early and everyone was ready and had such a good time during the day. The entire experience was perfect and we wouldn't have had it any other way. Thank you Becky and staff for being wonderful hosts and for taking such good care of us. -

Herman and Luther's was the only venue we toured and we knew it was everything we were looking for. The ambiance, staff, food and everything in between is top notch and worth every penny. Becky is incredibly responsive and was always really helpful. We got SOOOO many compliments on the food and beautiful venue and it really felt magical to see it all come together in their unique space. Highly highly recommend. -

The best venue and team that you could ever ask for! From the moment I saw photos of the location online, I knew I wanted to have my wedding here. When we finally saw the location in person, it was more beautiful than you could even imagine. Since we're from Pittsburgh, I worried about finding vendors, but Becky, the manager, guided us every step of the way with recommendations for E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. We booked the carriage house (a must!) for our bridal party to get ready in along with our parents and our officiant and his wife - there were a total of 18 of us (including glam squads and my day of planner) and there was more than enough room. The carriage house is not only practical (for getting ready, having breakfast and lunch) but gorgeous inside and out and made for stunning photos. We had our pre-ceremony cocktails, ceremony, and cocktail hour on the patio; we rented the cocktail truck (which was on the patio) for pre-ceremony cocktails and cocktail hour and it is another MUST-have! The cocktail truck is a showstopper and such a cool idea, it was truly a hit and made for awesome photos! Dinner (the food was outstanding) and dancing were inside the most elegant "barn" (stone walls, chandeliers, beautiful lighting, and so much more) you've ever seen. Every part of this property (open field, inside and outside the carriage house, inside and outside the barn, the patio) makes for the most stunning photos - to have that many photo options/styles without having to leave the property is phenomenal. We got married in May and our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they've ever been to. We can't wait to renew our vows here! Thank you to the entire team at Herman and Luther's for making my dreams come true. -

The food, atmosphere and venue were all perfect - we had no issues on our wedding day and everything went exactly as planned. I have nothing but great things to say about Herman and Luthers! The beauty of the venue, along with the expertise of Becky Yeagle and staff, made my daughter's wedding nothing short of a fairy tale. The food was absolutely delicious and the carriage house was a beautiful comfortable spot for the wedding party to relax and get ready. This place is stunning inside and out. All of my guests could not stop talking about how amazing the food was! Becky is amazingly organized and goes above and beyond to provide the most perfect day. Our wedding day here was truly a dream, from getting ready in their gorgeous carriage house suites to having our ceremony under their bohemian decorated tent, it was all perfect. The staff provided awesome service all night long. I highly recommend this venue to anyone considering getting married in a beautifully refinished barn. -

It’s hard to put into words the experience that we had with Herman & Luthers. It truly all started with Becky. She will be your right hand woman through the entire process and I could not be more grateful to have her by my side. She also recommended every single vendor that we had which they were also all incredible. I cannot say enough good things about Herman & Luthers staff. The food was impeccable. Every piece of presentation was carefully thought out and they made sure to make sure that all of our requests and desires were for fulfilled. If you’re thinking about getting the carriage house don’t think twice, it was by far one of the most important pieces of the day for sure. -

Amazing venue
We loved working with Herman & Luther's for our wedding and rehearsal dinner. The venue is so beautiful, our guests raved about it! The food was fantastic and staff is great! Loved being able to get ready in the carriage house!
Highly recommend to any couple looking for a rustic venue in central PA. -

It's all about the details and H&L nailed it!
Our friends and family are still talking about the gorgeous venue and delish food a month later! Becky is a true gem and adds to the entire experience from the first tour to the final hour of the wedding celebration! She responded quickly to our emails and gave the best advice for our wedding! George's cooking team is flexible with any requests to slightly modify the food. The entire staff are eager to give everyone the best party ever! The carriage house is breath taking and had plenty of run for the bridal party and both brides! -

Herman and Luthers is a beautiful venue. Their staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was excellent from the lunch for the bridal party to the cocktail hour, reception buffet and late night pizza! Our wedding was March 7th 2020! It was the best experience we could have ever asked for! From start to finish it was so easy which is what every bride wants! Even our other vendors reached out and said how awesome it was working with Herman and Luther’s ! The Carriage House is absolutely beautiful and my bridesmaids and I had an absolute blast getting around in there.Becky checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything enough times , but not to many to distract the experience. We also had her number and she was a simple txt away! All vendors had an easy set up knew exactly where to go with no issues !
We are huge food people ! We did plated , filet, lemoncello chicken with garlic mash and broccoli. I feel like if there is one thing everyone remembers from a wedding it’s the food! Well let me tell you, their food was fabulous! Not being biased at all but it’s the best wedding food I’ve ever had and I’ve been to so many weddings. But dads hard to please and he even was happy (never happens ) haha. So if you want good food these are your people !
The venue it’s self is absolutely beautiful! Doesn’t even need decorated, most do obviously but it’s so unbelievably stunning from the in and the out they keep everything so prestigious! The fireplace was a hit at my wedding also! It big and gorgeous and it was freezing and kept everyone warm!
So if you want the perfect wedding this is your place 🤍 -

We visited Herman and Luther’s 2 and half years before our wedding date and from the first tour we knew this is where we wanted to get married. The day after our visit we placed our security deposit. Becky was amazing to work with from day one, the tour she gave was great and advised us of the new features that would be in place by the time our wedding was to take place (August 2019). The new features were a brand-new luxury tent for cocktail hour and the carriage house for getting ready the day of the wedding. We visited many times during our two and half year wait to the wedding and each time we were there Becky and George were willing to ask any questions and provide great service. Becky even provided a tour to both of our families that was not necessary but very much appreciated! We also decided to book the venue for our rehearsal dinner, which was yet another great choice! Anything we needed Becky and George provided as soon as possible and helped tremendously with everything. The rehearsal dinner was pizza and wings, again so many options to choose from. The food for the rehearsal dinner was cooked right in front of you in the stone oven. Everyone raved about the food and how great the service was. The carriage was worth every penny the day of the wedding. It has one side for the girls and one for the guys and a common place with a bar and table that is so convenient. It was such a nice place to get ready and our wedding party said how great it was! The food was amazing, we had many guest come to us and say it was the best wedding food they have ever had (Thanks to George and crew). The staff could not have been nicer and Becky was there for anything that we needed and could not have asked for better service from everybody involved. The venue was perfect from start to finish. If you want a great venue with great people who want to make sure you have the best wedding possible, choose Herman and Luther’s it was everything we wanted and more! -

The best venue in Lycoming County. Loved working with Becky. They are truly lucky to have her. She was amazing to work with and made the day stress free. We were able to seat 240 people with plenty of room under the most beautiful tent. Had an amazing time. -

Mary Sent on 04/20/2018I am the youngest of 5 and all my siblings had extravagant weddings so I was feeling some pressure when it came time for our bid day. From the moment we signed our contract until the last dance Becky, George and the entire staff of Herman and luther’s Blew us away. Planning couldn’t have been easier with their help and they were extremely flexible on everything. Their bridal suite is a MUST to have such a gorgeous, peaceful place on site to get ready away from the chaos. I can’t tell you how many guests told us “this is the nicest wedding I’ve ever been to” “this is the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding” and the fire pit! More like a bon fire for the guests to gather and roast some marshmallows turned heads all night. Ended the night with a beautiful sparkler send off. Lastly, our photos almost look photoshopped with such beautiful back drops for the photographer. These guys are the dream team of a flawless fairy tale wedding day!

Highly Recommend
We had the absolute best wedding at Herman and Luther’s in May 2024. The venue is gorgeous, the landscaping is perfect, and the service was excellent. Becky (GM) had everything organized and ready to go on wedding day, so we did not have to stress about a thing. Normally you don’t go to a wedding for the food. However, to this day our guests cannot stop raving about how delicious the food was. I would recommend H&L to anyone looking to get married. -

Our wedding at Herman and Luther's was absolutely wonderful. A big credit for that goes to Becky and her team. She has weddings at H & L down to a science and makes sure their portion of the day goes off without a hitch. She is direct and clear in her communication with couples. She knows what works at their venue and I encourage couples to listen to her recommendations. Becky has curated a wonderful list of preferred vendors. We went almost exclusively off of this list, and I would encourage other couples to do the same. Using the preferred list of vendors ensures your getting a team that knows your venue well and works well together. Having our wedding at H & L really simplified the planning process as so much is kept internal. It was so nice to have the venue also handle food and alcohol. Additionally, our guests absolutely loved the pre-ceremony cocktail truck and raved about the food, which is so much better that your typical wedding food. -

The perfect day
This review is WAY overdue! We honestly just got our thank you cards out. My beautiful wife and I got married at this breathtaking venue back on May, 22 of 2022. One of the features we loved most about this venue besides the view and the barn itself was the carriage house where we both got ready. Turns out that when it comes to most venues, the "grooms" get ready area is usually lacking and only the bride has a pretty space. I wanted both our sides to be equal and that's exactly what this venue offers. Becky (the manager) was a true help! She lead us through the maze of planning a wedding and was always there to help answer any questions we had. The staff was excellent and the food was to die for! I loved that they made everything right on site and it was all so fresh. All of our family and friends still rave about our wedding. I would recommend this venue a thousand times over. -

This was a top contender for us but unfortunately with so many out of town guests we wanted somewhere that guests could stay on sight, we loved Herman and Luther’s though and will definitely keep them in mind for other future events! From the very beginning, Becky made us feel so comfortable and that we were in good hands. Our guests continue to rave about the food, the service and the beautiful atmosphere! Seriously a top-notch place to get hitched! Highly highly recommend!!
