We got married at Heritage Museums & Gardens in August 2025, and we seriously could not have picked a better place. The staff was so kind, helpful, and accommodating. They made everything feel easy, which is all you can ask for on a wedding day.

And the venue… wow. The gardens were absolutely gorgeous, and every spot looked like it belonged in a postcard. Our photos are incredible because the whole place is just naturally beautiful.

Our day went smoothly, we felt taken care of, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how stunning everything was.

We renewed our vows here at heritage and it was absolutely perfect. I had a vision and they executed it amazingly. The way heritage accommodated my requests really made our day everything we pictured. Everything was beautiful thank you Jennifer and heritage team for making this day picture perfect!

When you think of getting married on the Cape, usually the venue would be beachy or nautical. Although My husband and I are from and live on the Cape and adore it's beautiful beaches, we decided from the beginning of our wedding planning journey we wanted something completely different. Heritage Museum and Gardens is a gorgeous, etherial and magical place. We really wanted our guests to experience the friendliness from staff and the tranqility we felt every time we visited there.
There are multiple locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception (and so many for pictures). We chose the Flume for our ceremony and the car museum for cocktail hour where guests could cool off in the A/C, while exploring two floors of vintage cars.
Heritage also provided transportation to and from the ceremoney location for guests who needed it as the Flume is located at the bottom of a small hill.
Working with Jenn was very easy. She was quick to respond and answered all our questions and concerns. There was some necessary construction during the summer and Heritage made sure to communicate during the whole process. We didn't have to ask to make sure it was hidden on our wedding day either. From changing and creating a better experience for guests upon arrival, to hiding the construction at the ceremony location- it was picture perfect and they went above and beyond.
We have received so many compliments about this day. Everyone has raved about Heritage and have told us this was the most beautiful wedding venue they've ever been to.
We would recommend Heritage to anyone!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Heritage Museum & Gardens for our wedding this past June. The venue is beautiful at any part of the season, and we appreciated that we could have an outdoor tented wedding with an indoor backup plan in case of rain. The flume was an ideal location for our ceremony, and we loved that we could use different parts of the grounds for our cocktail hour and reception. We and our guests were especially appreciative of the Heritage team's event staff, who were very welcoming and attentive -- particularly for those who asked for a ride across the gardens in the museum's cart. We're very grateful to the Heritage team for such a special day.

We really loved having our June wedding at Heritage Museums & Gardens! The mix of indoor and outdoor areas were perfect for the day. We had our reception in the garden, our cocktail hour in the antique car museum (which gave our guests plenty to discuss!), and our reception under a tent on the lawn. Our photographer loved the venue and had a great time bringing us around the property for photos. We worked with Jenn, and she was fantastically accommodating. We were concerned about some construction that was going on at the time, and Jenn went above and beyond by coordinating some extra plantings to block the view (of construction fencing) that we were concerned about. Working with Heritage was a 10/10 experience!

Everything was completely flawless. It was great working with the casual gourmet throughout the entire wedding experience.

Our wedding was perfect. I can't speak more highly of The Casual Gourmet or Heritage Museums and Gardens. The Flume was the setting of our ceremony, and the round shaker barn was the setting for our reception. Our fall wedding was worth it (even with the chill in the air) due to the beautiful landscape that surrounded us. Brides and grooms - do yourself a favor, and book this venue for your special day!!!

There is absolutely nothing bad to say about Heritage Museums & Gardens. It was the first venue we looked at and even after touring most of Cape Cod, we couldn't say no. The grounds are exsquisite and the indoor venues (like the Round Barn and Carousel Room) are unique and beautiful. It rained on our wedding day and the Wedding Coordinator, Libby Knott, was not only helpful, but paramount in making everything come together beautifully. She was always available, responsive, professional and sincere. All of our guests could not believe the how beautiful the venue was! Thank you so much to Libby and the rest of the Heritage staff that made our wedding planning process and our big day the best we've ever had!

Heritage was the perfect place for our wedding. We were able to capture the beauty of the gardens through our photos in the Hydrangea Garden and by the windmill, and then have our ceremony in front of the flume. We had a large tent set up right by the Museum and were able to have 180 people. We got married in mid July and the hydrangeas were in peak bloom and absolutely stunning.

The only thing I was upset about was they were undergoing a pretty massive construction renovation of the Welcome Center. Once completed, this will be amazing! But this altered the location our guests arrived due to the construction site, and it was a concern that it was the background of our ceremony photos. Thankfully Jennifer and team were incredible in taking our feedback to make it a non issue, and she was very communicative about the progress of the construction leading up to our wedding. We are really appreciative of Jenn's help and execution to make the venue beautiful.

Beautiful Spot, Wonderful feedback from guests

On our wedding day Lisa was fantastic! She handled the event with great professionalism, and flawlessly directed staff, vendors and guests. People loved the food, and the chowder bar was a great nod to New England. Our only issues with The Casual Gourmet stemmed from a lack of transparency in pricing. Menus are prepared by staff based on your approximate price per person, leaving you in the dark while trying to assemble a combination of entrees and apps that taste decent and fit your budget. Occasionally slow to answer emails, but they always get back to you eventually. The Heritage was a gorgeous place to have our wedding and we had a wonderful night!
