Phenomenal

I wanted to let everyone know what a pleasure it was working with Hepatica. I had the honor of working with David and he was dream. I was tasked with planning my sisters wedding and he went beyond what was expected of a florist. The church was a little dated , yet he transformed it into a English garden. The flowers for the reception and bridal party were just beautiful and beyond what we expected. By far the best Florist in Pittsburgh and I would not go anywhere else. Phenomenal!!!!

No Brainer

We had used Hepatica for many other occasions and floral needs. It was a "no brainer" that we would use them for such an important event. We were not looking for a "blush and bashful" wedding and Hepatica really worked with us in creating something unique and stunning. They took our ideas and inspirations and elevated them to a whole new level.

Billy at Hepatica planned and carried out the floral decorations and bouquets for my wedding. From the beginning he was terrific to work with, seeming to understand exactly the look I was hoping to achieve. He also arranged for the linens that would coordinate well with my flowers. On the day of my wedding I could not believe how beautiful the flowers were. Everything was perfect and the quality of the flowers was absolutely the best. Billy went over and above to assure everything was just as we planned.

Dana and her team are beyond exceptional! I told her I wanted a winter rustic themed wedding and everyone was blown away by what she delivered! I could not have been happier with the day of presentation. Since email is not the best way to contact the team on the days leading up to the wedding, Dana gave me her cell to answer anything I may have been worried about or forgot to tell her. I can't say enough good things about them!

Hepatica brought my vision to life for my wedding. They executed phenomenally on my wedding day by bringing my ideas to life. The preview they did was amazing and it was even better the day of the wedding! If you are looking for excellent service and beautiful florals for your wedding ceremony and reception hire Hepatica. They definitely know what they are doing! One of my most fond moments from my wedding was seeing my vision come to my life, and it wouldn't have been possible without Hepatica!

Dana was amazing. She took the time to make sure I had exactly want I wanted for my wedding day. Staff was friendly and I was very impressed with the quality of the flowers. Thanks!!!

We worked with Jerry at Hepatica and were beyond impressed with our flowers and centerpieces at our reception. When we first met with Jerry, he took extensive time to show us sample bouquets and truly learn about our style and desire for classy, simple flowers (on a budget). Jerry was respectful of our budget and I am continually amazed at the beautiful flowers we received from Hepatica. Multiple people commented on how beautiful the flowers were throughout the evening. I would highly, highly recommend Hepatica for wedding flowers and centerpieces!

David was wonderful to work with and the flowers for our wedding were stunning. He took my feedback on bouquets and the result was better than I could have imagined. Hepatica's bases for raised flowers and decorations were superior to other vendors and made the room pop. I would absolutely recommend them for any kind of event!

Hepatica did my wedding on August 11, 2012....it was the most unbelievable experience!!!... They were such a joy to work with !!!!... I had one meeting with Rachel and talked about a few changes and that was it !!!... I left it up to Rachel ... I felt she knew what I was going for!!.... And boy was I right!!... When I saw the venue the day of the wedding I literally cried!!.. It was stunning... I had a wedding with people who are in the entertainment business.. People who have been to some of the most famous and the most extravagant weddings and they all said the same thing!!...they have never ever seen flowers like these!!!.... I wish I could give them 10 stars!!!
YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!.....FABULOUS !!!!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while! My wedding was April 2011, and I chose Hepatica for my flowers. Although a lot of their reviews online were for regular flower arrangements, and not weddings, two people I knew had received arrangements from them and they were absolutely amazing, so I decided to meet with them. I met with Rachel. Up until that point, I had talked to two other vendors, and really didn't feel like either of them "got me" and really understood the look/feel I was going for. I was having a hard time explaining it myself, so I couldn't really fault them, but I was hoping they'd be more helpful at pinpointing what I was trying to explain. Rachel did just that. It was like she climbed into my head and designed a combination of exactly what I was thinking plus incorporated little touches of things I'd mentioned that I had seen in pictures and on websites that I'd mentioned I liked (like incorporating an artichoke into some of the arrangements!). The wedding decor was breathtaking (think lots of candlelight, greens/tans/ivories, tall earthy/mossy candelabras, natual colors and accents, etc). I still get compliments to this day from people who say our wedding was the classiest, most beautiful they'd ever seen. The price was not cheap, but definitely reasonable (and in line with a quote from another vendor who would not have even come close to what she created). I would trust Hepatica completely for any event, wedding or occasion.

We worked with Rachel for our wedding at Heinz Chapel and the University Club. I had met with several other florists and had some ideas but no "vision" and after my consultation with Rachel, I felt like not only did my wedding have an ambiance - it had a stamp of uniqueness. The staff at Hepatica were so sensitive to my needs having to plan from halfway across the country, and their relationships with other vendors helped put us with the right contacts to get just what we wanted. In the end, the details were phenomenal - the flowers, candles, re-using arrangements from the chapel at the club and even just the placement of the ribbons made our beautiful venues even more amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better floral team and creative visionary to make our dream day possible.

If you choose Hepatica as your florist, you will not be disappointed. Rachel was an absolute pleasure to work with and unlike many other Pittsburgh florists, does not simply replicate past pieces from a book of photos. She sat down with us and we described our vision for the day and from that meeting she created beautiful centerpieces and bouquets. Unlike other florists, she also prefers to meet with couples several times prior to the wedding to ensure that she is providing exactly what you want. We couldn't be happier with the flowers & decor Hepatica provided for our wedding or our experience working with Rachel.

Because we decided to have both the ceremony and reception at the Heinz History Center, we needed a florist with a vision to fill the empty space and make it beautiful. Rachel was the perfect choice. The flowers were incredibly fresh and a stunning rich red. A square in front of the windows was transformed to an "altar" of greenery and candlabras. And the table arrangements were breathtaking -- all different sizes, shapes and heights of red roses, amaryllis, berries, daisies and cala lillies. I couldn't believe it was the same room we had rented. Rachel is an amazing artist and I can't imagine why anyone would choose another florist.

Hepatica did an AMAZING job with our wedding flowers. Everything was exactly what I wanted and had described to Rachel. We were initially worried about cost but Rachel worked with our budget to still get us exactly what we wanted for the right price. I would HIGHLY recommend Hepatica.

Hepatica was absolutely amazing! They provided the most gorgeous centerpieces for my wedding. I took them a picture of a centerpiece I loved and they made it and included all the minor changes I had asked for as well. They were wonderful to work with and so accomodating. Everyone raved about the flowers at our wedding. They were truly unbelievable!

We are so glad we chose hepatica to be our wedding day florists. We collected antique bird cages and Dana our florist created the most beautiful center pieces I have ever seen. She filled them with all our favorite flowers/succulents and added unique ones we have never seen before. They offered delivery service and set up which made our day go smoothly and also made our tables look like perfection. We highly recommend Dana at hepatica and thank them so much for making our wedding that much more beautiful!

Rachel at Hepatica did my wedding flowers and they were GORGEOUS!!! Just stunning!!! I could not have been happier with them! When I met with her she asked about all the details of our wedding to get an idea of what we wanted, what we liked, etc and I felt like she really put thought into how best to achieve the look I wanted and what would look best. My flowers are just as gorgeous in my pictures as they were in person. She has a customer for life and I will recommend Hepatica any chance I get!! Rachel did warn me when we met that she wasn't the best at replying to email and she was right about that, but having been warned it really did not bother me. And the final result was well worth it.
