Created my daughter's dream wedding dress!
Joyce worked with our daughter to create her dream wedding dress, and she did it within our budget. The dress turned out to be stunning! Joyce added a beaded train, belt and a sleeved jacket, all based on photos my daughter had and their combined imagination. Marv outfitted all the groomsmen in high quality suits that were not much more than if they had rented suits. They helped us with all of this despite my daughter and all the wedding party being out of state, and the wedding itself was also out of state. I highly recommend them! -

Amy Sent on 05/22/2016I cannot express how much I enjoyed my experience with Hem and Her. I bought my wedding dress online through a resale site to save money. It was THREE sizes too big and still had the price tags on it from a very popular wedding dress store. The initials of that store are D B. I called D B to see if they could alter the dress and they absolutely refused stating I'd have to have the receipt from their store showing the dress purchase before they could touch it. Frustrated, I called Hem and Her and Joyce's husband explained that his wife could alter it. He raved about Joyce's work so much that I was convinced I made the right choice. On my first appointment Joyce and I giggled about how big the dress really was on me. She definitely had her work cut out for her. She intricately lifted the lace and took in about three inches of material on each side of the dress. In addition, she hemmed the bottom, bustled the train and made me a gorgeous fingertip length veil to match! Joyce has a talent beyond words with a beautiful personality to match. It was even affordable costing me less than $450 for everything. I wouldn't go to another seamstress besides Joyce even if you paid me! Sincerely, Amy Pederson -

Michelle Sent on 05/31/2012I am over the moon grateful that I found Joyce through the recommendation of a friend. She was a total joy to work with, was the first "vendor" I chose for our wedding. Her warm and caring way set the tone for what I wanted and would have with the rest of the people we worked with on our wedding. Her gowns are all one of a kind. You will find a beautiful one that is just for you and she, and her staff will take such good care of you - you'll feel like your favorite Aunt is taking care of you. Her work is beautiful and working with her in every way was seamless. I LOVE MY GOWN and LOVED wearing it that day. She has a passion for what she does and there is heart in her work. User998669 Sent on 10/31/2012My husband and his groomsmen rented tux's for our wedding, and overall I was pleased. The owners were so nice and welcoming and the price is hard to beat. They are not scared to do last minute fittings-which worked for our out of town guests. The tux's were so nice! ONLY complaint is that the bottons fell off two of the suits. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone needing wedding attire.
