  BRIDES - PLEASE do yourself a favor if you want gorgeous wedding photos and book Heirloom Photography! Shaanon was one of my FAVORITE vendors to work with because she not only photographs your wedding, she gets to know you, and has really become one of my friends! I first saw her work at a neighbor's wedding and was stunned! This past year, my sister used her for her wedding and again, the pictures were just breathtaking. Shaanon knew during the wedding that I was getting married after my sister and NEVER ONCE did she ask me if I had a photographer or pressure me in any way to use her. I felt like the other photographers I didn't go with just wanted my business and were almost MAD at me for not using them! Also - she made sure my pictures, props, and poses were COMPLETELY different than my sisters!
  
  She really does go above and beyond during the planning process but especially the day of your wedding. Most photographers have you "locked in" to a certain amount of hours you pay for (4 hours, 6 hours, etc.) With Shaanon, she never put a time limit on anything, she was there to capture my getting ready moments, pictures at my parents house while her partner was at the church taking pictures of the groomsmen, and all of the ceremony and reception! Her passion for photography and making sure you are HAPPY, is refreshing. I was nervous that my bridal party was going to be a bit too rowdy to actually take pictures and she handled it absolutely perfectly and professionally. She really put me at ease that day and the pictures are absolutely beautiful. I've already received SO many compliments on the photography, poses, and uniqueness!! Save yourself the time and aggravation - trust in Heirloom Photography!

  ATTENTION BRIDES---- All I can say is she is UNBELIEVABLE! Shaanon is AMAZINGLY TALENTED! I could not believe how my preview pictures looked (the morning after my wedding, might I add)! She makes the environment so comfortable that you don't even feel the least bit nervous or weird doing poses and taking pictures. She makes your day extra special by being there for whatever need. She works with everyone in your wedding party, family and friends. She has so many cute/ creative/ traditional/ edgy original ideas for your wedding pictures. Book Shaanon as your photographer and have a fun, stress-free wedding day! I promise you will!

  Our experience with Shaanon on our weddng day was phenomenal! We couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Her work (photos, poses, editing, etc.) is beautiful and she knows how to capture every moment just perfectly! I had so many favorites by the end if it, I took 3 months to finally choose one for my 16 by 20! She was very personable, super helpful throughout the day with whatever she could assist us with (especially me, the bride) and very timely fashioned with every part of our day. What we enjoyed most about having Shaanon as our photographer was that she knew exactly how to make everyone in our wedding party feel comfortable and relaxed during our photo sessions.   I stumbled upon Heirloom Photography by Shaanon Cabral through word of mouth. When I was searching for a photographer, a friend of mine told me about her. I was told that she was just starting out but she was super talented. After checking out some of her photos as well as photos of other photographers, my husband (Fiance at the time) and I decided to book our engagement session with Shaanon to see her talent first hand. I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous to be sitting in front of a camera not knowing how to smile or position myself. When we finally met Shaanon, she was easy to talk to and made completely sure we were comfortable. She showed us exactly how to position ourselves and gave us advice on how to smile in each picture. After the first picture, I was completely relaxed and let Shaanon shoot away. My husband and I knew before the engagement session was over, that we wanted Shaanon to be our photographer for our wedding. Within two weeks, we had the CD that held our engagement photos and booked Shaanon for our wedding right away. We couldn’t have been happier with the pictures and our decision to hire her for our wedding.
  day of our wedding, Shaanon showed up on time and immediately began taking pictures. She made everyone feel comfortable and was even able to get my son to laugh and smile in pictures. Shaanon met all the requests that I had asked of her and went above and beyond to shoot amazing poses. Many of our guests commented on how outgoing Shaanon was and even requested her number for future reference. We’ve only seen a couple of “teasers,” but absolutely love what we have seen so far! We cannot wait to see all of the other photos from our wedding! My husband and I have no regrets with Shaanon photographing our wedding and will recommend her to all of our family and friends. We will definitely hire Shaanon in the near future to capture family photos and I was even thinking of doing a trash the dress session!!

  We could not have found a better photographer for our wedding! Shaanon traveled to Mexico with us for our destination wedding in August of 2012. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what she is looking for from her venue. She had done her homework upon arriving and kept a mental image of every perfect setting at the resort. When the wedding day came, she captured every special moment and then quickly, yet calmly, and in a very organized manner, set us in front of every perfect mural, background, and setting on the premises in the short time (45 minutes) between the wedding and the reception.
  Shaanon was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is positive, upbeat, decisive, extremely helpful, honest, very organized, and always eager to lend a warm smile and provide a calming voice (even when the flowers are late!). She helped keep things running smoothly from start to finish. She even delivered pina coladas during the photo shoot while I was having my hair and make-up done. We also did a "trash the dress" photo shoot with Shaanon the next morning on the beach and in the pool. She surprised us with many props that she had brought for the session. The pictures were absolutely amazing and beautiful!!!!! Working with Shaanon is what made our destination wedding experience as fulfilling as it was. She has become a very good friend and I would highly recommend her to anyone without reservation!
