As I sat in the front row of our daughter's wedding last month, I looked up at the chuppah for the first time and marveled at solid and complete it looked. Originally they did not have the finials my daughter wanted, so they made new ones so she could have them. This was done without asking. I couldn't have asked for more. The only regret is that since I was otherwise busy with the wedding events, I did not get to meet Mark and his family personally to thank them. Overall a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them. -

Working with Mark for our wedding chuppah was a great experience! He responded to all questions and communications very quickly and set up/take down on the day of happened seamlessly. The poles and tallis were beautiful and look incredible in our pictures. Absolutely would recommend working with Mark! -

Mark is THE BEST! Beautiful Chuppah!
Our wedding was the most amazing and special day for both of our lives and it wouldn't have been possible without Mark and his Chuppah. We knew when we found him that his chuppah was going to be PERFECT for the intimate ceremony. He let us come over and look at all of the poles and Talis’s, we had the most personalized experience! Everyone who came to our wedding told us how his chuppah was so lovely and nice. It really helped to make the day perfect. We are SO GLAD we went with him. It was a beautiful Chuppah. -

We had a very seamless experience working with Mark to get a Chuppah for our wedding! He was very responsive, helpful in explaining the various options, and accommodating to our specific needs. The Chuppa itself was gorgeous -- the wood added a beautiful touch to our day! We definitely recommend this! -

Hiring Mark to provide the chuppah for our wedding was one of our best decisions during the wedding planning process. The chuppah that he provided was beautiful. Mark was so friendly and professional. He worked seamlessly with our florist and always answered all of our questions about the chuppah (dimensions, poles, fabrics, topper, placement, etc.). On our wedding day, Mark set up the chuppah in the exact spot we wanted it and disassembled the chuppah as discretely as possible, once guests had already left the ceremony area of our venue. We can't thank Mark enough for the tremendous job he did, and we would highly recommend renting a chuppah from him. -

Professional, friendly, and easy to work with!
Mark and his team were one of the best hires we made for our wedding day! Mark is incredibly responsive and professional. He helped us to coordinate the chuppah set-up with our venue and asked questions about set-up and pick-up that we hadn't even thought about! He and his team arrived right on time - for an early AM start, when it was pouring rain - and set things up perfectly. I think the highest compliment I can give is that we truly did not have to think about the chuppah the day of our wedding: it was set-up and taken down seamlessly, giving us one less thing to worry about the day of!
The chuppah itself was also beautiful and we're so excited to have it in our photos. They have lots of options so you can really customize it based on the look you're going for. If you're in the DC/MD area and thinking about a chuppah, definitely hire Mark and his team - you'll be glad you did! -

Mark was one of the easiest vendors we worked with throughout the entire planning process. The chuppah was beautiful, exactly as described, and setup/breakdown was effortless. Mark was flexible when we had to reschedule our date multiple times due to covid. It was the perfect chuppah for our space and I would absolutely recommend him to any couple in the DC area. -

We could not be happier that we found Mark, and his chuppah business! We knew we wanted a unique chuppah, and the moment we met Mark and saw the care and craftsmanship that go into his work, we knew we were in good hands. Mark was so professional and kind throughout the process, and he and his son quickly set up and took down the chuppah, making sure that we had as much time as we needed after the ceremony to take photos under it. The chuppah itself was beautiful and Mark took care to display a family tallit. He also worked with the florist to beautifully place flower arrangements on the corners of the chuppah. We cannot recommend Mark and his business enough! -

We loved working with Mark! We met up with him prior to finalizing our chuppah choice and he was such a delight. He is a real craftsman with a portfolio of beautiful choices. We were able to incorporate my husband's grandfather's tallis along with a piece of antique lace from my family--the result was so beautiful and special to us! It rained on the morning of our wedding, causing our ceremony plans to change, but Mark was able to set up everything perfectly, despite our set back. We can't say enough about how lovely Mark's work made our special day :) -

Mark was such a pleasure to work with. We struggled to find a vendor that could provide a chuppah for our wedding. We knew we might not have too much time for our day of coordinator to set up, so were really looking for someone to deliver, put together, and take down a chuppah. I'm so glad we found Mark because he made the process seamless and the chuppah was absolutley gorgeous to get married beneath. It's such a beautifully crafted piece and I'm so thrilled it will forever be a part of our wedding memories. -

Mark was one of the best vendors that we had! He was incredibly flexible and communicative from day one and even allowed me to come to his house to see the different fabrics he offered in person. When I told him we wanted to use one of my family member's tallis for the top, he sent me drawn out designs to make sure that it matched my vision. On the day of the wedding, the chuppah looked even better than what I had imagined! I was so happy with his services, he could not have made it any easier. I would recommend working with Mark in a heartbeat! And I think the photos of my chuppah speak for themselves! -

We were having trouble finding what we were looking for in the DC area as far as a simple beautiful chuppah. Our venue recommended Mark to us and we are so happy that we ended up renting our chuppah from him. He was incredibly responsive and even worked with us when we had to change our wedding date because of Covid. He recommended the hand held poles to us and we are so glad we went with them for our small and intimate 9 person wedding. The chuppah turned out so beautiful! Mark does amazing work. -

As the pictures attest, the handmade chuppahs Mark makes are breathtakingly beautiful. With intricate yet understated details, the poles are unlike any others I've seen, and they come with a selection of unique canopies. They are so lovely on their own that you don't need to spruce them up with flowers. In fact, we didn't have any floral arrangements in the ceremony except for the bridal party bouquets, and we got so many compliments on the elegance of the decor, especially the chuppah. Our rabbi couldn't stop raving about it. The prices are also very reasonable; another place quoted me twice as much to rent plastic poles with a glorified bedsheet.
Arranging the rental with Mark was one of the most stress-free parts of the wedding. We went with handheld poles, which my aunt brought to the ceremony. Mark did a great job facilitating the pick-up and drop-off as well as explaining how to set up everything. And he's such a sweetheart! I have nothing but positive things to say. -

We loved working with Mark! All the florists we spoke to were charging an arm and a leg to include a chuppah in their contract. I found Mark and he was great to work with! We got a beautiful chuppah at a reasonable price! He took his time to speak with us and meet with us to really create what we wanted. His work is beautiful and I would without a doubt recommend him to anyone needing a chuppah! -

L Sent on 03/13/2018I found Mark when I was looking for Chuppah poles for my daughter's hand-made chuppah. He was fantastic in every way. Flexible, accomodating, easy to talk to and easy to work with. And the poles! They are works of art - gorgeous inlaid wood, beautiful wooden bases, and charming and meaningful carved toppers. The set-up and take-down went seamlessly. The finished chuppah was absolutely beautiful - exactly what we had in mind. Another point: These chuppah poles are so lovely on their own - you need not obscure them with a lot of flowers!
