She helped us craft the perfect playlist that matched our personalities and kept the energy flowing from the ceremony to the very last dance.

Hogan wedding

I hired DJ Heidi for my daughter and son in law’s wedding. She was great. Very nice and easy to work with. She accommodated the ceremony with songs my daughter picked that she had not had in her system. She was also able to play a song my daughter sang for me during our mother daughter dance. It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun! I had no issues and we had a great day!

Heidi was amazing!!!

Heidi was amazing!!! She was professional, timely, helpful, and fun! As a young couple planning a wedding, there were many things we were unsure/unaware of. Heidi was super helpful and gave great recommendations when we asked. The highlight of our wedding was the end of the night when Heidi played all of our favorite songs and we danced with all of our friends/family. Thank you for helping make our wedding so special and memorable!!!

The Perfect Day

We hired DJ Heidi through Wedding Wire. The reviews gave us an idea of her work. After we signed the contract, she provided us with a Pre-Event Planning guide sheet. The guide gave us an idea of all the decisions we had to make for the planning of our Wedding and Wedding Reception. It was an excellent guide because we didn't know what questions to ask. After we had completed the guide sheet, we scheduled our wedding agenda meeting and provided all our wishes. Heid was amazing! She took that agenda and gave all our vendors the timeline for everything that day. She did a great job providing our music for both the Wedding and Wedding Reception. She even gave us music ideas for me to walk down the aisle with my Father as I didn't want the traditional "Here comes the Bride." Her introductions to the Bridal Party were so enthusiastic. The whole room stood up and cheered for us as we entered the banquet hall. Our Reception was so fun. Everyone was up dancing. It was a perfect day!!! Thank you, DJ Heidi Linn. We highly recommend her! She is professional, friendly, and very affordable.

We hired Heidi Linn for our son's wedding in April 2023 and she was fantastic! She provided music for both the outside ceremony and reception. Heidi is a true professional, friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend her...Simply the Best!

Something You Want To Celebrate? Call Heidi Linn

Heidi Linn was DJ for our wedding reception - 19 years ago. People still tell us it was the best reception they'd ever been to! So when our granddaughter planned her wedding this year (2022), we insisted that Heidi be the DJ. And we weren't disappointed! She knows how to get people out on the dance floor and just have a great time of celebration and fun. She has more than 30 years experience and a library of over 80,000 selections, so she has music and surprises for all ages and occasions. Heidi's the best we've ever experienced! She will put an exclamation point on your event, too, and create wonderful memories for years to come!

Three Months

My daughter got engaged and we were able to plan and have a beautiful wedding in 3 months. Time was of the essence and DJ Heidi Linn was prompt in getting back to us. DJ Heidi provided us with a form to complete with the type of music we would like played and that was all she needed .. she took our info and ran with it and did an amazing job!

DJ Heidi was Amazing!!!

Heidi came to us highly recommended. We then found her on Wedding Wire. We were sold after reading the reviews. She really knows her Bride's and Groom's wishes. At our Wedding she did all of the music even as I walked down the aisle with my Father. Then she did all the music for the Reception. All of her announcements were very professional. We did all of the Traditional dances, 1st Dance, Father/Daughter Dance and the Mother/Son Dance. Her radio personality really came out when she was on the mic. Our guests danced for hours. We even kept her an additional hour because no one wanted to leave. It was an amazing day and DJ Heidi made everyone feel included. She played all different types of music and even did some activities like the Shoe game and the Anniversary Dance. Thanks Heidi!!!

DJ for a wedding

Heidi was a dream to work with. She has a wide variety of music selections available, and wants to make sure all music played fits your vision. Most DJs have a do not play list, but Heidi also had a list where you can choose which music must be played. You can even prioritize the music selection so all of your favorite songs will be played.

There were a lot of location and scheduling changes in the last few months leading up to my wedding. Heidi was incredibly flexible and willing to work with us. The guests all said they had fun and loved the music. From us, she gets five thumbs up!

Fantastic, no-frills, affordable DJ

We weren't going to hire a DJ at all, but my maid of honor insisted it was a worthwhile investment. Heidi delivered exactly what we needed, a basic DJ setup including karaoke. We didn't need lighting or a photobooth or anything extravagant. Her pricing was very affordable. We initially met with her pretty early on in our planning, and she helped us start to put our reception timeline together. She was very easy to work with, and the day of the wedding she was a star. Although my husband had sprained his ankle the morning of the wedding and we had planned to skip our first dance, I pulled him onto the dance floor for a couple quick tango steps at one point and she rolled with it, switching to our song and letting us dance to it until his ankle decided it was enough. She kept the party going all evening, and everyone had a great time. We highly recommend her!

We had no worries on our wedding day! The music was always playing for the guest. Heidi is a fantastic DJ!! I would definitely use her again.

Amazing!!!

We knew that when we hired a DJ we wanted someone who would play our song requests. We like alternative music. Heidi played music for the ceremony and reception. She played every song that we requested and had the dance floor full. Her introductions were amazing. I would highly recommend Heidi!!!

Truly a great time and great to work with.

Working with Heidi was a blast. She played our song lists in order of how we wanted them, took requests, had a wide variety of music, and most importantly she communicated with us and helped us out every step of the way. She was truly a blessing, and great ti work with.

Heidi provided excellent services as a DJ at our wedding. She worked with us closely to personalize our song choices. Also, when our videographer ran into technical difficulties with the soundtrack to our slide show, she was able to troubleshoot and get things running again. Definitely above and beyond our expectations! Would hire her again and recommend her to anyone!

Heidi Linn is beyond professional. She takes time to get to know her couples so that she can dj the best reception for you and your guests. She provides entertainment from the minute the first guest arrives. She is kind and considerate as well as accomodating in every way possible. You would be hard pressed to find a DJ as amazing as her!

Heidi did a wonderful job with my niece's wedding. She is professional and can feel the vibes of the guests to make a change when it is needed. That's key for a good DJ and she's got it! I have seen Heidi do her work different times and in different venues, and she is always on the top of her game. No matter what goes on, she is unflappable. What really impressed me the most at my niece's wedding was how compassionate she was with a couple of guests who were young and another person who had special needs. Those guests were very interested in what she doing and how she was making the music work....pretty soon, she had a little fan club surrounding her. Without missing a beat, she took time to show them how things worked and even involved them so that they could have some fun being a DJ for a couple of minutes. It was awesome and something that I'll never forget. She's humble enough to "get over herself" and see what is beckoning and then deal the situation with professionalism and compassion at the same time.
If you choose Heidi for your DJ, you will never be disappointed! She's GREAT!

Heidi Linn was very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Worked with the entire audience young and old. Included everyone in on the fun. Very experienced in keeping the party going. I have known Heidi for years, and at every turn she has been hardworking, honest, flexible and truly fun to work with! And VERY responsive to phone calls and email communications.

She DJ'd our wedding in 2009 and did everything possible to insure a wonderful time for all. Her music selection and equipment were more than adequate and her "presence" at our event was just right..not too much..or too little. Dignified, engaging and NOT over the top by any means...although if that is what you are looking for for your event, I am sure she could pull it off!

Hire Heidi for your event, and rest assured that she will do a tremendous job!

I used to listen to Heidi Linn on Wink 104. She has such an upbeat and fun Radio Personality. Heidi has done multiple Weddings and Parties for my family over the years. When I started planning my Wedding I knew there was only one DJ I wanted, Heidi Linn. Heidi used her Radio personality, DJing, Emceeing and Freestyle mixing and made our Reception a Once in a Lifetime Memory for our family. The dance floor was packed all night and she did special dances like the "Generation Dance," which included all of our guests. She helped us plan our Wedding Reception from the beginning through the end ahead of our Wedding Day, so all we had to do was have a great time with absolutely NO stress. She is extremely professional, detail oriented and truly cared what we wanted and honored our "NO PLAYLIST!" I can't say enough good things about Heidi Linn!!!! Thank you so much Heidi!

From the moment I got engaged I knew I wanted Heidi Linn as my DJ! I received numerous compliments about Heidi from my guest.

Heidi truely has a passion for what she does and it shows. She is a true professional in her field.

I have been to numerous weddings where Heidi provided the music. Heidi has the ability to make the dance floor come alive! I would highly recommend her dj services.

Heidi did a wonderful job for my brother's wedding! She kept the reception moving and people dancing and presided over the special things, like speeches and the cutting of the cake. It was a fun-filled reception, and Heidi Linn's services were a big part of that.

Great working with Heidi!

Heidi was wonderful for our wedding DJ. She is super knowledgeable and personable - our guests had a great time at the reception with a nice mix of our requested music and crowd pleasers. Would recommend!

DJ Heidi really worked with my wife and I to put on a beautiful reception. I felt relieved knowing that her experience and professionalism could allow me to relax and enjoy our wedding day. She bent over backwards to accommodate us and put together a memorable evening. I greatly enjoyed working with her! Her value was phenomenal -- she is incredibly affordable.

Great for the price!

Heidi was great. We gave a song list and songs for events throughout the night. No song mixes or extra props, but she did what we needed her to do. She was able to play outdoors for ceremony and indoor for reception. Overall, good for the price.

A fun night

Heidi was easy to work with and listened to what we wanted and did not want. Our guests and even our photographers were raving about the music at our reception. She was fun and made our reception amazing!

Hired DJ Heidi for my wedding. Met with her a few times prior to the wedding and she was wonderful. The day before the wedding my husband received a call from a DJ that said she was doing our wedding. My husband said that we hired DJ Heidi to do our wedding. She said DJ Heidi hired me to do your wedding. We contacted DJ Heidi with no call back. The DJ that Heidi hired to do our wedding didn't have any of our selected music or or wedding song to dance to. I had to have my friend who played at my wedding give her the music. Not to mentioned we paid to have a video of our reception. A 5 year old could have made the video better that what I paid for. It was blurry, shaky and muffled. What DJ Heidi did was deceitful and disappointing. She should have been honest from the beginning if she was going to have someone else do our wedding not her. Never once did she say someone else would be doing our wedding. My wedding day was perfect except for the DJ. Sad that memories of my wedding are of having horrible music and not having any of the songs I wanted played.

Overall, we would like to say that we have been less than pleased with the DJ experience with her. We were really fooled by her. She said all the right things to make us hire her.
I will list out the items that made up regret out decision.
- The contract is filled with grammatical errors, this is suppose to be a profession DJ
-Getting Heidi to return e-mails, or phone calls was a nightmare. I would say the average response time was 2 weeks after multiple phone calls and voicemails left.
- When filling out our pre even sheet, we had to list songs that we wanted played, and songs that we did not want to have played. She literally play the ONLY song that we did not want played at the ceremony.
- The expectations of the introductions seemed to complicated for the "professional DJ". All we were asking for is a different song to be played for each couple.
-We asked for speakers to be placed outside for the people who were hanging out outside so they could still hear music. She did not place any speakers outside like promised.
- She stated that she was aware of the venue we were getting married at. So we sent her our wedding time line and she said that the plenty of time to set up and gather her equipment to get it to reception. Later we found out that there was no music from her at the cocktail hour which was 30 minutes after the ceremony. This was confirmed with multiple guest at the wedding.
- We e-mail Heidi and told her that we were not happy with the performance and we received at out wedding. So she asked that we set up a meeting with her to talk things over. We were perfectly ok with this. So we set up the meeting, Heidi got out of her car, walked over to us, handed us the CD like she promised, then proceeded to say "alright, have a good day" and start walking away. When we asked if she wanted to talk about the event she said "no" and continued walking away. Save yourself the trouble and DONT HIRE HER!

Hiring a DJ for a Wedding is a very high priority for most Bride and Groom’s. It’s an important partnership that requires working together for months. As you can see from the wonderful reviews I have on WeddingWire all of the successful ones took very seriously their role in planning their Wedding Reception.
The Contract I provide is a legally binding contract, an agreement that provides clear expectations of what each of our roles would be. The first step is the Contractual Agreement. Then 4-6 Weeks before your wedding day we begin the Pre Event Planning process. The paperwork was not submitted on time, two weeks before the wedding. When requesting additional services there is a fee for the extra equipment, time and planning. When adding services which had additional costs you expected them to be free which no business can provide when there are changes to a contract. Heather stated, "well all you DJ's do is press the play button." That could not be further from the truth. In actuality DJ’s spend 12-15 hours to prepare, plan and execute a wedding reception. I prepare for each event with the couple in mind. The wedding started almost an 1/2 hour late and a full equipment change was requested 20 minutes before the wedding. The Banquet Hall that was supposed to be closed during the Cocktail hour where the main Reception took place opened an hour early and severely limited my time for set up. 98% of guests were in the Ballroom and not on the patio.

Lastly, all songs on your playlist were played. There were no “do not play songs” on your Final Wedding Reception Agenda. In the contract all of this information was clearly stated. At the end of the reception, both you and Heather, The Banquet Manager, the Photographer told me what a great job I had done. As you can see from the other reviews I have on Wedding Wire, brides and grooms are VERY happy with the overall services I provide. I wish you and Heather all the best.
