Luisa at Hedge Fine Blooms was amazing to work with throughout the whole process. From planning, to prepping and execution, she was with us every step of the way making suggestions while still making sure to stay within our budget. The florals she produced for our day were beyond our expectations -- perfectly curated to match the details from the rest of our day. We could not have been happier! -

INCREDIBLE beautiful work!
Lesleigh and staff were a joy- and the FLOWERS were beyond my happiest hopes. I’m grateful for many beautiful moments of my daughter’s wedding day -Hedge flowers were absolutely gorgeous and better than I could have dreamed possible. LOVELY!!! I’m so grateful we worked with them !! Very professional but also fun and excellent listeners. Lesleigh took our vision and made it better. 🩷🩷🩷 -

Hedge Fine Blooms was so easy to work with from start to end. They provided clear information on cost and had good communication throughout the process. I primarily worked with Catherine who I could tell from our first meeting that I could trust and rely on her expertise to create floral arrangements that aligned with my vision. She certainty delivered as the flower arrangements were beautiful! Hedge Fine Blooms was one of the easiest vendors I worked with for my wedding and as others have mentioned, made it a stress-free experience. I would highly recommend Catherine and the rest of Hedge Fine Blooms for any event! -

Gorgeous Winter Wedding Flowers!
Catherine over at Hedge Fine Blooms blew us away and and was so accommodating during such a crazy year for our 2020 wedding. We were on the fence about doing our own flowers, but ultimately decided that it was worth having professionals take care of it - and how grateful we are! Catherine made my visions for our small, elegant event come to life, including a breathtaking selection for our wedding cake. Even when our table arrangements changed to be more socially-distant, she adapted the design on the spot and provided gorgeous candles and vases. We re-used our ceremony flowers for the centerpieces at her suggestion based on our budget, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend Hedge Fine Blooms for Virginia brides! -

I love flowers...but I don't know anything about them. Seriously I can't name more than maybe 5 different types. I went to Hedge with very vague ideas about colors that I liked (and didn't like). I showed Catherine just a few photos but otherwise simply talked out loud about what I envisioned. I trusted them to do the rest and use their expertise to make it beautiful, and boy did they deliver. We weren't quite sure what we would have available given fires out west and flooding locally, but somehow Catherine and her team at Hedge provided me with a bouquet and floral arrangements more gorgeous than anything I'd ever seen. I can't wait for more wedding photos to be released JUST so I can re-remember the amazing greenery and centerpieces.
Not only were the flowers more than I could have imagined, but the staff was so kind, thoughtful and easy to work with. I am extremely thankful for Hedge and recommend them to all couples in the Charlottesville area!! -

Wynne and team did SUCH an amazing job with our wedding flowers! Wynne took that I was imagining and created something so beautiful beyond what I expected. She was incredibly flexible and even worked to provide a range of options to make sure everything was within my budget.
I can't say enough good thing about Hedge - you definitely want them to do your florals. They're incredible! -

Karen and her staff are amazing! She worked with me on my budget, and delivered above and beyond what I could have ever imagined! She was helpful and stayed in touch throughout our engagement, and was an absolute joy to meet onsite. I've gotten so many compliments on our wedding flowers, and I couldn't agree more - they turned out beautifully! I would recommend Karen and HFB to anyone in and around the Charlottesville area for any occasion! Love love love -

Karen at Hedge Fine Blooms was hands down the best money we spent on this wedding ! Over the course of the year planning this wedding we met with Karen three times . At every meeting she was excited , helpful, knowledgeable and a complete JOY to work with .
I loved her spunk , her advise on where to get the best bang for our buck and her ability to keep it all on track . We could not have been MORE satisfied with the florals at my daughter’s wedding .

Ethan Sent on 10/24/2010Karen Walker (Owner) and Karen Thorsey (Designer) are fantastic. They have a wonderful vision and can design beautiful and unique flowers. They did the flowers for my rehearsal dinner and ceremony and were able to work within my budget by reusing some of the flowers (I needed to cut costs!).
A note about them though - be flexible on what you envision. The flowers that they provided were not what I had described, but were absolutely beautiful and fit the venue and season perfectly. If you're a bride that wants things to be exactly what you want, be sure to be specific about that (I gave them flexibility, so I can't complain).
Overall, energetic, fresh, unique and the both the best quality and the best value in Charlottesville. -

She provided simple, beautiful and elegant arrangements for our wedding. They were a pleasure to work with and their flowers set the beautiful ambience of Montfair's lodge. It was super easy to order a wedding bouquet and boutonniere over the phone. I gave them some photos of what I wanted the colors of the bouquet to be and how large I wanted it and when I went to pick it up, it was everything I didn't know I wanted! It was so pretty and the staff is kind and patient with any questions or concerns I had. -

Hedge Fine Blooms provided the gorgeous fall florals and foliage for our October wedding. We worked with Karen Walker, who we hired just 3 months before our wedding date. She made quick work of designing our floral plan, particularly the arrangements that went around our custom, handmade centerpieces as well as a fall-themed hanging garland arrangement for above the dance floor. She also educated us on what would be in season at the time of our wedding, and how that could be integrated into the design. She was always eager to make sure she was capturing our vision for our decor and cooperated well with the other vendors. She also did her best to be transparent on ways we could save money, even with a business minimum. We would recommend Hedge Fine Blooms and Karen to anyone looking for low-volume, custom event florals!
