Dream photography and videography team!

My husband and I cannot thank Hechler Photographers enough for everything. It was such a joy shooting with Julio for our engagement shoot in downtown Manhattan and our Rehearsal Dinner at the Union League Club in NYC, and we loved shooting with Julio, David, and John (the videographer) on our wedding day that took place on May 18, 2024 at the Metropolitan Club in NYC.

From the moment we met David (recommended by our amazing planner, Jeff Stillwell of Stillwell Events), we knew it was a wonderful match. David is extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and an amazing listener. When David referenced notes from our very first conversation a year and a half later (just a little under a month from our wedding), I was beyond impressed and truly touched.

We greatly appreciate how David, Julio, and John were all able to quickly respond in the moment and pivot as needed, whether it was to ensure my hair could be touched up to stay perfectly in place or that we could have time to relax before key moments (e.g., the ceremony). As an incredibly detail-oriented bride, I am so grateful for all the attention to detail that was demonstrated from the beginning of our wedding day to the end of the evening. David, Julio, and John managed to strike the perfect balance of making their presence known, while blending in perfectly (one of my friends had commented that most photographers & videographers she had seen at weddings were so loud and even disruptive). Not this team!!!!

I will also be forever grateful for all the encouragement and helpful tips and pointers/direction that David and Julio provided throughout Friday and Saturday to make sure that everyone looked and felt their best while remaining confident in being themselves. I still have Julio’s voice in my head saying, “Work it!” ☺️

I am so grateful that David and Julio were able to capture all the photos and videos on my extensive shot list, and then some!! My husband, our families, and I cannot wait to see these photos and videos - if the engagement shoot photos are any indication of what's to come, these photos and videos are going to be absolutely magnificent.

David, Arthur, Julio, and Casey, thank you for everything! It has been such a pleasure working with you all. This past weekend felt like heaven on earth, and I’m so glad we chose you all to capture these memories we will cherish forever and ever. 🩷

Beautifully Amazing

If only I could describe Hechler Photographers as beautifully as they captured my wedding day. The pictures and videos are truly breathtaking, and I couldn’t be happier. We initially hired them for a one venue, 120 person wedding, but due to COVID-19 that drastically changed, and they were able to easily adapt. Our day ended up being a 20 person wedding with 3 different venues, a trolley ride around NYC, a zoom reception, and a dinner reception, and the team captured every single special moment no matter how big or small. The Hechler team made our day so much fun and kept us so at ease. We were able to be ourselves and not feel the pressure of having cameras around. We also walked all around SOHO and they knew exactly where to go and what to do for the creative, memorable shots we will cherish for a lifetime. The team was attentive, flexible, and professional. They spent 11 hours with us and made our COVID-19 wedding day seem, and look, as if we were not in the midst of a global pandemic. Their amazing trailer and full feature video will let us relive our day time and time again. I am truly thankful for all their hard work and for being part of our special day. No one could have captured our day better, do yourself a favor and hire Hechler Photographers!

Amazing people

My family loves this company! We used them for my wedding and my sister's. Taking wedding pictures can be tedious, but Hechler & Co. made it so much fun! My pictures came out beautifully, and I couldn't have been happier with the results!

We worked with Hechler Photographers for our wedding on January 7th, 2017. David, Arthur and Amanda just blew us away. They didn't stop once throughout the evening. They are all so professional and personable. From the very beginning they listened to our needs and exactly the vibe we were going for. They never pushed us to do anything we weren't comfortable with. They always provided us with professional and reasonable advice. They treated us like family throughout the entire process and really steered us in the right direction.

They caught all of the incredible moments throughout our big day! They kept us laughing and smiling even during the long family photos. They all provide such wonderful ideas and alternatives to make your life and your guests lives easier.

We cannot thank them enough for all that they did for us. Through the inclement weather, transportation to and from the church and general wedding jitters they all remained so calm and helpful. THANK YOU!

David from Hechler Photography is the most professional and sharp photographer. He gets to know his subjects and does not stop for one moment, working the event from beginning to end. He captures every important moment, yet is not intrusive or pushy. He puts everyone at ease and just adds such flair and class to the event.

Professional and friendly service. The pictures are magnificent and they captured the special moments perfectly. They were professional and independent - it was almost like they werent there (in a good way!!!) Will absolutely recommend to others and use again!!

We worked with Julio and John. They were both amazing. Really captured the "fun" side of our wedding, which was really important to us. When we were looking for photographers, it was really important that they be flys on the wall and not intrusive on the day. We wanted great photos from our wedding, but didn't want to feel like we saw more of our photographers than our guests. Julio and John were perfect and we barely knew they were there! yet, captured every special moment. We couldn't be happier.

In addition, Arthur and Bobbi in the main office were great. Very prompt on emails, and super helpful in every aspect. Arthur even went out of his way to help me with a special gift I wanted to give to my groom! Really a special company.

Our photographer was very nice to work with and was really energetic and fun the night of our wedding. He was not in people's faces, yet still got tons of great pics. We haven't picked out the photos for the album yet, so I can't comment on that, but up until this point, we have been very happy. They were very friendly and great photographers.

They were very slow on service and not worth the money. I am still waiting for my photos after 2 years. They cited that they were having problems with the bindery but our wait is still way to long....I would advise anyone who is looking for a wedding photographer to go somewhere else
