Channon Ducksworth Hudanich was my wedding coordinator for our wedding at Heaven on Earth, and I could not have been any happier. She was always available for all the phone calls and emails from my mother and I had during the year long planning of my special day. She also helped me with suggestions which made it so much easier. Customer service and professionalism are VERY important for events...especially if it's your wedding. Thank you Channon from Linda Rose and Own Svay!

My daughter got married at Heaven on Earth in October, 2021. Channon was such a blessing! She went through the planning process with us in detail. The all-inclusive package allowed us to customize our perfect day. Channon was there for us every step of the way! She answered texts quickly, gave needed advice when asked, and helped schedule and coordinate meetings with vendors. The day of the wedding was no different. Channon was by our side the entire day, calming our nerves, and making the entire day run smoothly. Thank you, Channon!

The last two weeks leading up to our wedding I was stressed out. Channon the assistant wedding coordinator for the venue stepped in and brought my mind to ease. When I tell you she bent over backwards for us to make sure our day was perfect. Every time I called or text her, she responded immediately. She made it easy for me to have access to her whenever I needed her, she did all this with a smile, she never made me feel like I was bugging her. She stayed late with us after the rehearsal dinner, and was with me the day of the wedding. She was with me before I walked down the aisle, she helped me calm my nerves. I can’t thank her enough for her dedication to us. She was very sweet and genuine the entire time, she never switched up on us. Channon, thank you, thank you words alone can’t say how grateful we were to have you to assist us.

Anything was amazing I was blown away by how they decorated everything

I had my wedding here on Saturday and everything was Absolutely beautiful. The staff was professional and very helpful. They made sure everything looked great and I had everything I needed. They made the process of planning my wedding a breeze and took a lot off my plate. If you are having a wedding or any kind of event you have to book with them.

My husband and I were married at this beautiful venue 2 1/2 years ago. The owner, Tamara, was wonderful and a delight to plan the wedding with. Today, I was able to attend as a guest for the wedding of one of my friends. I really enjoyed the day and once again, Tamara outdid herself! She even remembered me! If you are looking for a beautiful venue where everything is at your fingertips with professional guidance, I highly recommend this place. It's so convenient to have both the beautiful chapel and ballroom on the same property. The old house full of antiques and gardens make a lovely place for photographs as well.

I will never forget this day. From the chapel, reception room, bridal suite, grooms suite & every room in between (bc it’s literally a mansion) This place is charming and has so much character. The coordinators made this day a blissful dream. Tamara, Genie and all of the staff were attentive, kind and quick. Im so appreciative for their thoughtfulness in thinking of all things that make the literal best day of your life even better. Tamara is exquisite and I seriously wish I was friends with her. The best wedding I’ve attended was my own and that’s how it should feel! I highly recommend this venue and all of the services Tamara provides and uses!

Tamara was amazing! She took care of all my needs and brought my fairytale wedding to life. She coordinated all of the outside vendors (florist, dj, photographer, hair and make up and cake) which was wonderful. It saved me a lot of headaches and time having all my needs met.
The venue is beautiful, elegant, and charming. All of our guests loved the venue and said our wedding was straight out of a magazine.

This place talky is a close to heaven on earth as you can get. Tamara has turned this Victorian mansion into the perfect wedding venue with gorgeous, thoughtfully-curated antiques everywhere you look from the beautiful curved pews from Mark Twain's church to the many stunning stained glass windows throughout. Tamara has also thought through every detail of the day for the bride, groom, and guests, with every detail designed for maximum comfort, visual effect, or efficiency. She has created an all-inclusive package that allows the bride to sit back and relax. The price is very reasonable considering it includes food, flowers, photography, and DJ.

This venue is just breathtaking! It is an all inclusive venue with a beautiful chapel for the ceremony and a beautiful reception. The owner is just wonderful. She works with everyone's budget and needs.

I had my son's wedding reception at Heaven on Earth this past Saturday, people from all over the US and from overseas came to celebrate with us. Every thing from the hall, decorations, drinks, food and service was above and beyond our expectations. Everyone had a wonderful time. I will more than recommend this place to anyone. Tamara took great care of us, she was there from the time the party started till the end. She was wonderful and attended to all our needs. Thank you Tamara for all you have done for us.

Our big day was so special because all the people, places and things fell into place effortlessly. This is such a beautiful historical venue that will not be duplicated. I had looked at 17 venues before knowing for sure this was a place that would be perfect for us. Both my husband and I stumbled upon it on our own and loved it for various reasons and wanted to check it out. It is a one-of-kind eclectic atmosphere. When you walk in, no matter what entrance, you are in for a treat. There is so much to marvel at. It enhanced our “Classic Love Story” theme. Looking back at our pictures, with the start of our “Storybook Wedding” engagement shoot, to my “Once Upon a Time” bridal shower and finally our “Theatrical Playbill” style wedding, it was an amazing place to see this come alive, a fairy tale come true and one we will cherish.

Aside from the venue, the owner, Tamara played a huge part in helping my husband and I put it all together. She is truly Heaven on Earth’s Angel. She went above the call of duty on a number of occasions and she was invested in helping us stay within our budget and carry out our theme every step of the way. Whether it was helping us decide on some of the vendors, etc. to helping as the time ticked closer to the BIG moment - I remember her making some of the last minute details happen, things some people would have just ignored. She helped our nerves. She directed us; we didn’t have to worry about anything that day, we knew we were in good hands. We were able to enjoy the moment with our family and friends and this was truly important to both of us. She was more than a venue owner, she really loves what she does and this helped us during all the planning. I was happy she was there seeing and helping to oversee our special day. It was a wonderful feeling hearing and seeing our guests share how great everything was and that they had fun and that they loved the place. It was truly amazing and we are grateful that God allowed everything to work!

Tamara and her staff are amazing!!! They made our wedding the most magical night I could have hoped for! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Tamara is a pro and I am so happy that I entrusted her expertise with my wedding! I gave her an idea of what I was wanting for my special day, made a few color choices and then let her take care of the details! This was at a very busy time in my life (final semester of college, working part time, and juggling 2 kiddos) and it was awesome to not have to micromanage the planning of my wedding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Heaven on Earth is truly a hidden gem! I got married here in April of this year and it was perfect! Everything ran smoothly and all my guests had such a wonderful time. The owner Tamara is so accommodating and bubbly, she was truly a pleasure to work with. Choosing Heaven on Earth as our venue was the best decision we could have made! The all inclusive packages they offer make the planning process so painless! I couldn't have asked for anything better for our special day!

I can't say enough great things about Heaven on Earth. Candace and Tamara always got back to me in a reasonable time frame with answers to my many questions. Their main concern was just making sure my perfect day was everything I could have imagined and more. The venue is absolutely gorgeous-- and lends itself to excellent photo opps. Our guests raved about the food, decor and unique character of the house. (We had many people tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to). Bottom line, you'll get a group of people who care so much about you and making your wedding day dreams realities. Tamara was like a fairy Godmother to me and went above and beyond in all regards. We LOVED Heaven on Earth. We could not believe we found this place, so close to home! Our wedding was AMAZING! We had tons of compliments on the venue..TONS. The Reverend was great! We even had compliments on him! He said a lot by just saying a little. It was perfect. Photography was amazing. Randy and Erin worked so hard all night. Randy moved at a million miles per hour and got EVERY photo in the list I gave him. Even the ones I forgot about and all the action shots. I was stunned. Him and Erin knew every angle that would look stunning. Tamara, the owner, is phenomenal. She is so upbeat and enthusiastic, it was a pleasure working with her and her team. HER TEAM IS AMAZING. They did so much for us, such as cutting our brisket last minute when we just couldn't find the time. Tamara helped pick all my linens and such, and let me tell you, the place looked beautiful. Julie's Cakes rocked out our cakes (again - got tons of compliments) and Lush Flowers gave me exactly what I wanted with beautiful flowers. I honestly could not expect more from Heaven on Earth and all the vendors. Our wedding was gorgeous, pictures are beautiful, and our memories are forever. I am proud to say, I WAS NOT A STRESSED OUT BRIDE! I just felt like everything was so taken care of. Thank you Heaven on Earth!

Tamara and her staff are FANTASTIC!!! I could have not asked for a more PERFECT wedding day. There was nothing that I asked for that wasn't provided. The Heavn on Earth staff went above and beyond to make our day just as special for our family and friends as it was for us. This staff also provided a few surprises to enhance the plans that were already included in our package. Tamara gave me 100% confidence in her ability to do what she said she was going to do (on time and with excellence) and referred me to vendors who took just as good of care of me as she and her staff did. Heaven on Earth gave me my fairytale wedding! Everything was perfect! Tamara and Nilda were amazing! The florist Rene did an incredible job on my floral centerpieces! It was overall my dream come true reception!

This vendor is "all inclusive" in a complete way. We used the Princess Package and we are very happy with the quality of choices provided. Everything was excellent! From the butler greeting our guests to the excellent catering and bakery choices. This venue provides red carpet service! The wedding was beyond beautiful and we are so pleased to have used The Southern Plantation "Heaven On Earth". We did a lot of comparison shopping and you really get tremendous value for the price. This venue offered a lot more services in the package and we really had a gorgeous, elegant wedding that our friends and family are reving about! Very beautiful facility with antiques and beautiful furnishings. The wedding coordinator was wonderful to work with and The photography was really great as well.

All the planners at Heaven on earth where awesome even tho i got pushed around to different ones. Kathy was the one that planned my wedding at the last stage or almost at the last stage very friendly & helped as much as she could to make my dream wedding come true!

and absolutely loved it! The plantation is so so beautiful and the chapel is just stunning. If you want to take the stress out of planning and want to truly be able to enjoy everything to do with your wedding this is the place. They have decades of experience and loyal vendors with EVERYTHING you need for planning a wedding at your fingertips in one place. It could not be any easier and fun which is what it is suppose to be! Everything is provided for your ceremony as well, complete with pianist, vocalist and an incredible minister who will make your ceremony nothing but special. The staff and owners makes you feel like family and they are so personable and supportive and completely take care of you on your wedding day where you don't have to think or worry about anything or any detail. Wonderful staff! Their packages come complete with everything you want or don't want and is cost effective compared with trying to pull together vendors from all separate places. Now that's stressful and time consuming! We thank Heaven on Earth and all the angels there for our special day!

Great Great Great!!! This all inclusive venue was exactly what I needed. All you have to do is pay the venue and they distribute to the individual vendors. This all inclusive venue really saved me from getting a headache trying to keep up with vendors. Prices were also excellent and services were absolutely AMAZING!!!

Just attended a wedding at The Southern Plantation -Heaven On Earth. This was the most elegant and beautiful venue I've ever seen! The service was exceptional. The facility is historic and charming. This venue is ALL-INCLUSIVE and everything at this wedding was gorgeous and top notch. The bride and her mother were very relaxed and having a great time since the wedding planners here took care of all the details! I would definitely recommend them to any bride looking for that perfect wedding venue.

We just recently got married here. It was absolutely georgous! Everything was perfect, and we wouldn't have changed a thing. My brother was even saying that he and his wife want to book it to renew their vows now! Everyone had a great time, and Nelda was great through the whole process! We got the largest package, and ended up saving money, since so much was included! Definitely the way to go!

Heaven on Earth did a great job, and gave us a beautiful and fun wedding!!! We loved our ceremony, flowers, dinner, cakes, DJ, photos, and the video they made for us was very professional and beautiful! The mansion is so pretty and unlike any place we have ever seen. I recently got married at Heaven on Earth and it was amazing! The staff was very nice and very helpful. It was a fairy tale wedding from the moment I walked in till the moment we left everything was wonderful. The food was wonderful and the decorations were stunning. We got our wedding picture cd and wedding video very quickly and they took so many pictures that it is hard to choose from. The video is very nice and I am very happy that it was included in the package so we have it to look back at. I would recommend this place to anyone. This is a place to have your fairy tale wedding and that is what you will get!

Heaven on Earth is the most time and cost efficient venue that I saw out there. I fell in love with the venue when I first set foot in it. The beautiful stairway entrances make it really unique to typical venues. The windows in the chapel let the beautiful landscape come into the room so you can get that fresh outdoor feel, but still be inside with AC and no humidity! The "All-Inclusive" aspect (Chapel, Reception Ballroom, Officiator, Pianist, Coordinator, Caterer, Cake, Flowers, Photography, Attendant staff, etc.) really takes a lot of stress off of a bride to be. Just because it seems like a good deal doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice sacrifice or beauty. The service is top notch. Dealing with Kathy is so easy and they are all so organized. The photographer has pictures available the week after the wedding. That is definitely NOT the norm in this industry. The cake (Cakes by Gina) was hands down the best cake we've ever had (and we are not being biased). The flowers were exactly how I always dreamed. Everyone works so well together and it was such an amazing experience. I had a number of friends planning at the same time and my friends were envious with how easy I had it. I would highly recommend Heaven On Earth to anyone who's looking for a beautiful venue, great service, and would prefer less stress in their life!

I could not be happier with everyone at this venue. They take care of you from start to finish, step by step. There's no searching around for anything. No wondering - when do I need to take care of this? Nada. They have an in-house wedding planner/coordinator who helps you gather everything you need, helps you think of anything you might have forgotten, aranges anything you need her to, and runs the wedding day events so smoothly.
The venue itself is breath-taking. It's a gigantic southern plantation style house with a chapel. We didn't need to order a mass of flowers because they have "in house" flowers that would match any wedding, and it's already decorated so pretty, it didn't need anything more added to it. I would have to say the maroon table cloths were my only turn-off - but you can change those to any other color for a small fee.
All in all, I'm so happy I picked them for my venue. They were my lifesavers. And what a bargain!!

I was able to use my own photographer instead of theirs, and was also able to convince them to play music at the reception and allow me to dance with my father AND husband. The food was wonderful, and the staff was VERY professional. My wedding was a fairy tale come true!

It was an absolutely beautiful place to get married. We loved it and the staff was wonderful. It was nice to be able to relax the morning of the wedding b/c I knew they had it all under control and everything would be set up and ready without me having to worry about anything but getting me ready.

From the time I called we've received nothing but great customer service from Mrs. Tamara to Mrs. Channon. Mrs. Tamara helped us create the time-line and coordinate our renewal. Mrs. Channon made sure we executed what was planned. She made my day/night go by so smooth because she was so hands on & attentive to what we wanted/needed. She made sure everything was up to par. Mrs. Channon and the crew were amazing! My family and friends spoke so highly of them and loved the decor in all of the areas. We added a few touches but they decorated everything which looked stunning.

From the moment I saw this place I knew it was the one. I could feel the rush of excitement as I walked through this extensive maze of a plantation home, with each room winding into another and another. I could hear the house creaking, and the comforting, aged aroma filling the air. The beautiful, original architecture mixed with modern restorations gives it an overall elegant and effervescent atmosphere. The house is classic, yet contemporary, with captivating energy of the history it holds.
I became a little emotional as we walked through the house. This is the place I always dreamt of. We were so blessed to be able to be married in this breathtaking house with all of our friends and family sharing it with us. Tamarah, the owner, provides an all-inclusive package that alleviates stress for the bride, and each vendor did an amazing job. The decorations were beautiful and the price affordable. I would also recommend spending the night the night before, as I did with my bridesmaids and mother. It is such a unique experience, plus you are conveniently ready to go in the morning. There is a magnificent bridal prep area upstairs. Tamarah will bring your bridal party breakfast and lunch. Nothing is perfect, but this was came pretty close. Thank you Heaven on Earth for making my dreams come true.

It was the best place to get married that I could have hoped for. I personally have very high standards but everything Heaven on Earth provided made my dream come true. The only drawback is that there can be multiple weddings in a day and I was stressed the wedding only ONE hour before mine would delay my wedding's preparations, but things worked out =)

This southern plantation with its beautiful grounds and exceptional value is the perfect place for anyone who wants to actually enjoy their wedding without the last minute headaches so many people have to endure. Kathy Gilmore the wedding coordinator was very helpful, and all of the vendors they use are exceptional! We added a candy buffet to the reception, and it was beautiful, and people truly enjoyed it! The day of our wedding was a deluge of rain, but looking at the pictures, you would not know it! Everyone takes care of you, everyone is hospitable, and the place is beautiful! All of our guests truly enjoyed our wedding, and we loved every minute of it!

We had SO many compliments of this beautiful venue. All of our guests truly loved the atmosphere as well as the delicious food provided by Tamara’s staff. Tamara and Channon were pretty great throughout both our original wedding date and postponed celebration date. It was sometimes hard to get in touch with Tamara, but Channon (her assistant) was easily reachable if Tamara wasn't. There was always someone that could help us if we had any questions. It was a little stressful not having a wedding planner, but having Tamara and Channon’s assistance throughout the whole process made things less stressful. Our original wedding date was in July 2020 and Tamara was so kind with our decision to postpone and allowed us to honor our original contract (we had already paid for everything at this point). For our original wedding date, she allowed us to still get ready at the venue, made sure we got to the church in the limo, set our goodie bags up for us, and got us small cakes for our small wedding dinner with our family that night. As for the postponed wedding celebration, they were very kind in any requests that we had in terms of details and decorations for the reception. They allowed us to borrow vases for our DIY flowers, to bring our own alcohol earlier, and to view the venue before the reception began. I did have to go through the reception tables myself to make sure the decorations were set properly and I didn't have an opinion on my bridal bouquet, but those are small things compared to the great things they provided for us. For example, Tamara had many wonderful ideas such as a memory table for our loved ones who passed, she was also super accommodating to allowing special traditions that my father wanted for the wedding, and she made sure that Richard and I were taken care of throughout the whole day. Overall, we were very pleased with the venue and the service we received by having our wedding here. If we had a third wedding, we would definitely have it here. :)

We had our ceremony and reception at Heaven on Earth. The first time I walked through the door I knew it was "the place". Everything was so beautiful from start to finish and being all inclusive was such a load off of me. Stress free wedding!! The vendors are all so wonderful and responsive. THANK YOU HEAVEN ON EARTH!!

I loved this place! First of all it is a huge mansion that was built specifically for weddings. You can pick your package which ranges from inexpensive to extravagent! Almost every package includes a butler, wedding and grooms cakes, food (which you are given an aray of choices to choose from), photographer, videographer, a personal wedding coordinator, rentals, an officiant (but you can also use your own), music for the ceremony (you can choose), a DJ (who will personalize your music to whatever), flowers, and a limo to take you to wherever you choose. I cannot even begin to explain just how easy my wedding was. Everyone there thought it was beautiful and so enchanting. This is very much a place to consider!

Beautiful, romantic, and traditional wedding! Numerous compliments from guests. All of the staff were very courteous and professional. They have the timing of the whole affair down to a fine art! They take care of all the details and let you have a great time. Slightly overpriced, yes, and there were a few very minor glitches associated with the music and the seating at head table at the reception, but overall our experience was great. I would have my wedding there again. The setting, pictures, and memories are priceless.

I am in love with the chapel though they refused to compromise on several issues and won't allow other vendors. Perfect for the bride that wants an all inclusive venue.

I had my ceremony and reception with Heaven on Earth. We had the yellow rose package for a Saturday afternoon. The site was moderately flexible and helpful with planning my wedding. Celena is a fantastic employee of the plantation and is extremely helpful. Overall, my cake and flowers turned out very well. I chose not to use their videographer service. I did experience a lot of difficulty with the unprofessionalism of the photographer and my bridal and wedding pictures turned out average which was a little disappointing. I also felt he was pricey for the skill of his work (to purchase bridals, CD, etc). Overall, I would recommend Heaven on Earth to a couple who is looking for an inclusive package. Although we had some snags, I was pleased with the quality that we recieved for the price.

I attended a wedding at Heaven on Earth and was very please with the facility until the reception started. They had an officer from Missouri City working that placed a chair next to the bar and was counting the amount of drinks that different guess drank. He then started harassing different guess about the amount that they had drank and this all lead to allot of uncomfortably and guest leaving early. It is just a shame that one man made such a negative impact on the newly weds special day and ruined the reception for most of the guest.

Heaven on Earth is a beautiful all inclusive venue. My husband and I knew from the beginning that we wanted an all inclusive venue because we wanted everything done in one place. Most all inclusive places are very expensive, including Heaven on Earth, but it was considerably cheaper than many of the other venues we saw. So we decided to go with Heaven on Earth. Now, I must preface this by saying we enjoyed our wedding and it was beautiful, but it was not without problems. Every step of the process seemed to have a snag. I should have known from the beginning it was going to be a nightmare to plan. When we first looked at Heaven on Earth in 2019 we were quoted a price of $12,500 for 125 guests. When we went to talk about signing a contract that number changed to $13,500 for up to 150 guests. When we went to put a down payment on the venue, that number changed again to $14,500 for up to 150 guests. Now mind you this is within 3 months that we got these three different prices, none of which were the prices we ended up paying. We finally negotiated a contract in December of 2019 at $13,500 for up to 125 people. With wiggle room for more or less people closer to the date. Even after I brought the check for the down payment, the venue owner argued that she never agreed to that price. It took us literally taking her own hand written contract to prove that she had in fact agreed to that. Her response was “I will honor it for you, but normally I do not honor anything that is hand written”. Red flag. With her hand writing mind you. I thought that was the last of the problems we would have, as we had secured our date and paid the down payment. In February of 2020 I started planning the wedding. Going to food tastings, cake tastings, etc. The venue owner, Tamara, could not give me a straight answer on which dishes I could have, how many, or what sides. We ended up knowing what we would eat a month before the wedding because of that (June 2021!!!) Even then, we didn’t get the food we asked for. We got something else. It was ok, but it wasn’t what we wanted. So the wedding planning was going along smoothly, and then covid hit. Due to covid we had to postpone our reception. Tamara was gracious enough to allow us to get married in a small ceremony on our original day for at no cost while simply postponing the reception a year. For this I was grateful, because most wedding venues will just keep your money. However, after talking to us in April about moving our reception, but keeping our wedding date, she gave away our date anyway. She ended up giving our date away to a high school prom. We didn’t find out until a month before our wedding that the day was given away. She told us we had to move our ceremony up to earlier in the day if we still wanted to get married then. We agreed simply because we didn’t want to change to a whole different date. That same day, Tamara asked us to pay for the remaining balance on our wedding, or we could not have our ceremony. Mind you, we aren’t supposed to pay the remaining balance until we have a head count for the reception because the cost is based on how much food they have to buy, but she says she will refund us if we end up having less that 125 people at our wedding, so we agree. Biggest mistake we ever made. Red flag. On top of that, she decided that we needed to pay an additional $400 cash only for the small ceremony, despite previously implying it was free. She claimed it was the fee for having the photographer again, at the time I was frustrated, but I just wanted to get married, so I agreed and we brought her cash to the covid wedding. So the day of the wedding comes and it seems fine, but it takes over an hour to start. Meanwhile I was sitting and sweating my makeup off in my dress. Because of the delay, once the wedding is over, she rushes us out to clean up for the next event. All is well until we start planning for our reception. So about a 9 months later, I called asking about the number for the florist and the DJ, etc. I never got the florists number. Tamara ended up making my bouquet herself. The DJ’s number changed three times because while planning the wedding, they changed DJ’s three times. We didn’t have our music set until a week before the reception. Because of this, our music was all over the place at the reception. We didn’t even get to talk to our photographer until the day of our reception either because it was a different photographer than the first wedding. It was a hot mess. Then the day of the wedding came. Overall it went well, but it wasn’t at all what we planned it to be. The food wasn’t right, there wasn’t any champagne despite us specifically paying for champagne toast for all of our guests, and we were rushed by Tamara the entire night. She rushed us during our ceremony, she rushed us taking pictures, she rushed us to cut the cake, she even rushed us to leave early. Even before the actual wedding, I got a sense that something was off because Tamara kept asking me if I would like to add things onto the wedding last minute. Things neither I nor my husband wanted, like a bar, up lights, etc. Our wedding ended up being 75 people. We never got a refund for the other 50 people we paid for. We never got a refund for the champagne we paid for and didn’t get. For a while my husband and I tried talking to Heaven on Earth, but now they don’t even respond to us. So I will say this, if you go to Heaven on Earth you will have a nice wedding, but you won’t get any say in it unless you micromanage the entire wedding process. No matter what Tamara says to you, she will not honor it. Even if she wrote it down. If you are one of those people that needs everything exactly perfect, this isn’t the place for you. I liked the venue, but the planning process, the lack of transparency, and the just blatant lies told by the venue owner are the reason I would not recommend this venue. As much as I enjoy the pictures from that night, it would have been easier and cheaper to just get married at the courthouse.

Do not plan a wedding there if the outdoor temperature is above 70 degrees or get ready at home and arrive 30 minutes prior to the wedding start time. The entire house/building is poorly insulated and the a/c can not cool it down. I was sweating the entire time we were trying to get hair and makeup done. Finally had to put a fan directly on me to do my make-up. The owner is very inflexible, it is her way or no way! I wasn't sure she understood who was paying for the event. The food was awful and the wedding cake was dry. The website states they can accommodate up to 300 guest, this is false advertisement in my opinion. We had around 150 people and there was no more room for additional guest. I think there are better venues out there for the same amount of money.

Highly recommend to STAY AWAY from Heaven on Earth and Tamara. It was a complete nightmare to work with this venue. Many promises were made but never delivered. Initially, we were impressed with their responsiveness and follow up. They seemed to care. But once the contract was signed and money paid, the demeanor changed completely. We felt like Heaven on Earth and Tamara ran off with our money. Our calls, texts, and emails would go unanswered for weeks. Some issues were not addressed for months. We felt very taken advantage of. Details that were agreed upon would later become additional costs for us. Their packages may seem enticing but are far from all-inclusive. We were absolutely disappointed with Heaven on Earth and Tamara. Sadly for Tamara, Heaven on Earth was damaged during Hurricane Harvey. Sadly for us, Tamara only returned part of our fully paid balance. She kept the deposit for all couples affected by Hurricane Harvey. We only had 2 months to relocate. But Sugar Creek Country Club's Jennifer worked miracles to coordinate our day for us despite the mess that Tamara had created. We were so blessed Sugar Creek Country Club and Jennifer saved our wedding. Please save yourself the headache, and DO NOT do any sort of business with Heaven on Earth or Tamara Vogt-Smith.

I booked this venue thinking it would be the perfect wedding with the perfect atmosphere & a nice caring staff. I was wrong.

Not too long after I put my retainer down for the venue, my father was diagnosed with cancer. Not too long after we found out he had cancer, we found out the cancer was terminal. If you could empathize, I am quite sure you could understand how terrible it is to be planning a wedding & finding out your father you love very much might not make it there to give you away. I was devastated.

My fiancé & I exhausted a lot of our funds trying to help my father & take care of him. After we found out his illness was terminal, I decided I wanted to do something on a smaller scale much sooner so he could be here to witness it. I lost my excitement for a big, wedding because it just would not mean as much to me without my father there.

Well.. here is how much they care about it at Heaven on Earth:

I have been trying to contact the owner, Tamara for the past 2 months. Yes, Tamara. The one who puts on this wonderful act claiming that she for the bride, cares so much about her happiness, blah, blah, blah. All she cares about is money. Because a lot of our funds have been exhausted, we asked that even if we couldn't have the whole retainer back, if we could at least get a portion so we could do a small function for my father. I also stated that I understood what I signed on the contract, but I all I wanted was a response. The office coordinator initially ignored me, she finally responded after a couple emails & told me she would forward my information. I left Tamara voicemails & the OC told me she would forward my info to Tamara as well. Still no word for her.

She is not about "Heaven on Earth". She is an inconsiderate person who knows how to play & what to say to get her money. This circumstance was out of my hands & she doesn't have the decency to try to play empathetic.

Well my name is Michelle and i looking for a place before my husband deployment. When I found this place I was so excited , it was exactly what I was looking for. We called and my mom went to go see it because we are stationed in North Carolina, she loved it. So we made another appointment, to come back and talk about everything( that's we're everything went wrong) . A couple of days before the a appointment they had to reschedule( btw no big deal ). Two weeks pass finally got appointment we my mom got their the lady was late and very umprepared( she had nothing). She wrote on a paper a number and said this is much everything is going to cost and this is what you get. We didn't need half of those thing and she only took of 2000$ . So she said she was going to talk to her manager and see what she could do, I am still waiting for that call. So since they never called us back I told my wedding planer to go and see what she could do and to no surprise to me the ask again if they could reschedule by then I was tried of everything and just find a new place.(they waisted two and half months of my wedding planing .
