Best decision ever!

Yoel was amazing to work with! This band is PHENOMENAL!! Thanks so much! We had the best wedding ever because of the band. Everyone kept telling us how amazing the band was, and that it’s the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. Many also said that every one of the members really put their all into it and seemed to enjoy and love what they do, not just phone it in. Love all of the compliments!

Best band ever!!

The Heatwave band was absolutely incredible! They are not just a band for your reception, they are a part of it! Yoel was so easy to communicate and work with, it made planning stress free! Every song sounded amazing and they had the dance floor packed all night! They take the time to fit in with the bride and groom's vibe, and provided the absolute best party! We received so many compliments, and they are well deserved!

Best wedding band ever!!

Unreal!!! Yoel and his team exceeded my expectations and absolutely went above and beyond for my wedding. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception, the music was always on point and no one ever wanted to leave the dance floor. Countless guests have told me they were the best wedding band they've ever heard, and I absolutely agree!

The BEST band

Heatwave was absolutely INCREDIBLE. We still have guest reaching out (months later) about how amazing they were. From the prep calls, to the set list, to the day of we could not have asked for anything more. They were a pleasure to work with and a huge part of it being the best day.

Wedding of two long time friends

I was Recommended this band by a friend of mine named lori and I was I was blown away really made the crowd move. Really made my wifes day. Also very easy to work with and book kickass band for sure I'll just say that. I would highly recommend this band for any wedding

Highlight of our wedding!

I'm not sure I can put into words just how INCREDIBLE Heatwave is. My parents saw the band at a wedding seven years ago, and when it came time for my wedding in April 2023, they were our first call. Art was a pleasure to work with--he's so responsive and knows how to time the party to keep guests dancing all night long. We had a twelve-piece band at the wedding, and our guests haven't stopped talking about how great they were. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

High Energy - Professional- PERFECT!!!

High energy and sensational! Our guests had rave reviews for Heatwave but the packed dance floor throughout the night said it all!
The band manager took the time to get to know the bride and groom and really understand their expectations. The band MC was great, the flow of the evening was perfect.
They also provided the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour as well as a great DJ. All were outstanding!
THANK YOU HEATWAVE, your talent, dedication and ability to capture the crowd made my son and daughter-in-laws wedding simply perfect and truly memorable!!!

Best Band Ever!!!

WOW. What can we say but, "Thank you!" Heatwave turned our wedding into a dream. Not only were the vocals and the music phenomenal, but the band took control of the party and ran the night seamlessly. Multiple guests have since told us how spectacular the band was, with many describing Heatwave as "the best ever." Would highly recommend!!!

Beyond expectations

Heatwave was everything we could have dreamed of. Definitely the highlight of the night. They kept the energy going for hours on end and had everyone on their feet! Yoel is an amazing band director. He met with us many times on zoom prior to the big day to solidify our style and our goals. He's creative beyond imagination and made our ideas come to life. We wanted to create a second line entrance into our reception straight into a medley of our favorite songs and he truly delivered, not to mention the other songs they learned for us and true musician ship and pure talent on the stage! Every moment was special and bespoke.

We vetted COUNTLESS bands in FL and beyond... and coming from someone who's been playing instruments most of their life - Heatwave was an absolute TREASURE to find. If they're not taken on your day, you literally hit the jackpot because you need to book them ASAP!

Best band ever!!

Heatwave is beyond the best band out there!!! They kept the party going ALL night long for our wedding and it was unbelievable. Art is beyond amazing and is so awesome to work with. I can’t say enough good things. Ppl cannot stop talking about heatwave at our wedding!! Thank you thank you!!

Best Wedding Band I've Ever Seen

Leading up to our wedding, I was focused almost entirely on the band. As the groom, this was the only thing I was particular about. I’ve been to numerous weddings, and from experience, I knew the band set the tone for the entire night. From start to finish, the group was incredible. The communication was constant and they organized multiple meetings to make sure everything would go exactly as planned for the wedding. When we finally heard them for the first time, I realized just how fortunate we were. Their live sound is considerably better than all of their recordings. Their energy was nonstop and our guests were dancing all night. The one compliment we kept getting during and after our wedding was “this is the best wedding band I’ve ever heard”. They were one of the highlights for everyone, I can’t recommend them enough.

Make Weddings GREAT Again With Heatwave!

As a professional musician myself, having played literally thousands of Weddings and Bar Mitzvahs in the N.Y. area for over 25 years, you can imagine my standards in hiring a band for my son’s wedding would be incredibly high. My expectations were MORE than met when Heatwave performed for us on May 7, 2022!

First off, you could tell these musicians have played together A LOT – you just get the feeling that they are a tight-knit family who deliver super tight grooves, with fantastic song selections that flow from one to the other naturally and effortlessly. You want that in a band, because that experience and comradery enables them to react to an audience and change songs on a dime to keep the energy and momentum moving throughout the evening.

The four singers (2 men, 2 women) EACH has simply fantastic (but different) voices that allowed them to literally cover literally every genre of music; from classic Motown, soul and pop to today’s hip hop, to beautiful ballads and hot Latin dance tracks. And they also blended beautifully when they all harmonized together. And if you’re a Queen fan, ask Dre to sing “Don’t Stop Me Now;” he tore down the house with that performance!

Besides all being great musicians, it’s also important that a band works effectively to customize the music for their client. My particular requests called for a unique Beatle-themed wedding ceremony, two songs that I would sing with the band (once a musician always a musician!) and a bunch of other special song requests.

Both Art and his music director Yoel were really easy to work with; they never said no to any of my special requests, and I know they worked hard behind the scenes to make sure the band learned anything they didn’t already know. The night of the wedding, they came fully prepared and made me sound great! If a song is important to you, they will learn it and perform it to perfection.

It was a true pleasure working with Art and all the members of Heatwave; I’ve heard nothing but raves from our guests, with many saying it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to.

Wedding band

Heatwave did a wonderful job at our wedding. The band sounded amazing, and everyone had a blast on the dance floor. The string quartet was lovely during the ceremony. Yoel was very helpful and responsive prior to the wedding, and helped make sure all of our questions and requests were fulfilled. We would highly recommend them for any event!

Hire this band without a second thought.

About 3 years before my husband and I got married, we saw Heatwave at a wedding we went to! After dancing the night away, the lead singer came up to us at the end of the night and said to us “You’re next!” so picking Heatwave for our wedding band was a no-brainer!!! The second we got engaged, I reached out Heatwave and booked them for our wedding! Art is absolutely amazing! He is a pro having been in the South Florida wedding business for so long! He sat with us and mapped out our entire night and assured us that they could play almost any music we wanted and run the most amazing party. They delivered everything we asked for 1000x over and we cannot thank Heatwave enough for making this the absolute BEST night of our lives! We have gotten sooooo many compliments on our band from our wedding day! They have such amazing vocals and being at their performance is truly like being at a concert! As a “surprise” from the band, my husband and I spent the last few songs up on stage with them and honestly, it was INCREDIBLE and one of my favorite moments from the night! They also honored our request of a private last dance between my husband and I and it was so special! This band is amazing. I highly highly highly recommend Heatwave for any wedding or other event you’re thinking of booking them for!!!

Oh and I forgot to mention that as the biggest surprise of the night, my dad wrote me a song and Heatwave even coordinated with my dad and played the music in the background for him. That was the highlight of the party. Thank you so much Heatwave for a moment I will never forget.

Heatwave Entertainment rocked our party!

This band is absolutely top-notch! Their energy, talent level, and incredible vibe made everybody at our party dance all night! Every song they played was fantastic. They worked with us and performed songs that were perfect for our crowd. They even learned a song that the groom wanted to dedicate to the bride. And it was phenomenal! If I had a dollar for every person that came up to me and said how amazing the band was I would not have had to pay for the wedding! Heatwave is beyond amazing!

SO Incredible!

Heatwave was absolutely incredible! They learned my first dance song and it was performed beautifully. Best band ever!

My husband and I saw Heatwave at a wedding one month before we got engaged in December 2018. We both looked at each other and we're like "Yup, that's our band!" We were instantly sold. The second we got engaged my mom reached out to Heatwave and booked them for our wedding, which was originally scheduled for May 2, 2020. For obvious reasons, we postponed twice -- but were finally able to have the wedding celebration of our dreams on December 18, 2021! We cannot thank Heatwave enough for making this the absolute BEST night of our lives! Everyone was and is beyond obsessed with them! Like some of the other reviewers said, it's truly like being at a concert! Their talent and energy is just on another level! My husband and I spent the last few songs up on stage with them and honestly, it was INCREDIBLE! Also, honorable mention for Art! He is beyond amazing! He spent hours with my parents coordinating the perfect wedding music for all 3 iterations of our wedding!!! Run.. do not walk to book this band for your wedding! THEY ARE THE GOAT!

Book them!

We could have not picked a better band for our wedding! Heatwave completely blew us and our guests away! Everything was perfect and they kept the party going all night!! Our guests could not stop talking about how much fun they had and how incredible the band was! My parents had been to two Heatwave weddings before and they completely lived up to our expectations and then some! Art was great to work with, especially having to postpone our wedding to 2021 due to Covid. Thank you Heatwave!

Best Band Ever

If I could give Heatwave 100 stars it wouldn’t be enough. The band was spectacular in every way. From the moment we first contacted them Art was terrific. He assured me they could play almost any music and run the party. Well, he wasn’t kidding. The timing of the party was perfect. The music was outstanding, playing all genres and keeping the crowd dancing all night. People kept asking how we found them and if we had hired Earth, Wind and Fire!! The comment we heard all night was this band is fantastic! One guest that’s in the music industry said they were awesome. At the end of the night the crowd chanted one more song, one more song, they didn’t want the music to stop. We would have gladly gone into overtime had there not been noise ordinances prohibiting going past midnight. We can’t thank Heatwave enough for making Corey & Bailey’s wedding a great party that no one will soon forget. Hire this band without a second thought.

One of a Kind!

There are no words to describe Heatwave. Art, whom we’ve spoken with so often (after 3 rescheduled dates) has been absolutely exceptional and so patient. Every detail of the music was covered thanks to Art and the Heatwave Band. And finally on our May 21, 2021 wedding date Heatwave shined through. They absolutely rocked the wedding, had everyone dancing and having the time of our lives. The compliments we are still receiving on the band haven’t stopped. Tamara, one of the lead singers, sang “At Last” a special song to us, so gorgeous, it captivated the whole room. The talent of these band members is unmatched. We are so grateful they were a part of our special day, hiring Heatwave was the best decision ever. There is no one like them!

Hire heatwave

HEATWave was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! I truly enjoyed every interaction with Art and Yoel leading up to the wedding. The entire team is very attentive to details and wants to make sure that you and your guest have the best experience. My wedding consisted of only family due to covid and they had us on the dance floor the entire time!! They are extremely talented and a 10 out of 10 in my book. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Heatwave is Unbelievable!!!

Our wedding was the best night of our lives. Period. There are so many decisions that have to be made in the course of planning a wedding… and booking Heatwave to be our band was the best decision we made!

Your guests *might* remember the food, or the cake, or details of the venue… but they *will* remember the band.

The music was such an important part of every moment of our day. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, to first dances, and then having a celebration on the dance floor for the rest of the evening… Heatwave created the energy & atmosphere we wanted for every moment of our special day.

1.) They sound amazing. I’m a musician myself… I play piano, guitar, and drums, and have played in several bands. My dad played in a wedding band for 30 years. Myself and my whole family have been around music our entire lives… and these guys sound amazing. Each band member was exceptional, their chemistry as a group was outstanding, and the sound quality was superb.

2.) They can play anything. The song list that they gave us spanned every musical genre from modern hits back to the 50’s. We had them play a mix of old & new, including some demanding special requests... and they nailed every note. The dance floor was full all night, which was exactly what we wanted.

3.) Communication. There’s so much more to hiring a wedding band than just finding a band and booking them. You’ve got decisions about ceremony music, cocktail hour, introductions of the wedding party, first dances, and more… We even had a few special requests. The band was organized, quickly responded to any emails or text messages I sent them, and inspired confidence that they would deliver… and they did!

4.) Attention to details... and to us. Due to weather concerns, we waited until the last moment to make a final decision on indoor versus outdoor set-up. This is a big deal, as a band has to plan staging & equipment set-up. They were remarkably flexible, and gave us all the time we needed to make our decision. They basically planned the set-up for two separate venues and allowed us to make a call at the last minute based on weather. There were so many other vendors pressuring us to make this decision… meanwhile… these guys made it clear that their top priority was to make us happy... and bent over backwards to do so! :D

Do yourself a favor and book Heatwave. Whenever I talk to one of my wedding guests the first thing they say to me is… “Your wedding was so amazing… That band was incredible!”

Fantastic Band

We hired this band for our daughter's wedding. So many many compliments regarding how fantastic they were. Kept the party going, and totally professional. If you want to have a great band at your wedding, hire Heat Wave you will not regret it!

Party all night long

I can not express in words how thrilled we were with Heatwave. We had 166 people in attendance and I think I had over 1000 compliments on the band. They kept the party going all night long. People danced and celebrated all night long. Their performance and sound was incredible.
I have to mention how professional they were too. We were not aware of some problems with the venue and the vendor meals that were served. We were told of the problem after the event. The vendor meals were inedible and basically the band performed all evening without anything to eat. We would not have known of this unless our "day of" coordinator told us. Art and his band never mentioned a thing and kept the party going. Art was great to work with and is such a professional. We also used them for our ceremony and cocktail hour. My daughter did not know what type of music she wanted for that, so she just went with their recommendations. The music was perfect from beginning to end. Thank you Art and the Heatwave band.

Kept the party going all night!

Heatwave was absolutely incredible. Their musicianship is stellar. As guests were making their way from the cocktail hour to the reception area, the best man turned to me in disbelief that the band was playing and not a recording, since they sounded so good. We kept hearing about how wonderful the band was weeks after our wedding. Their careful planning and attention to detail gave us and our guests a night we will never forget and everything we wanted. We couldn't have asked for anything better.

The best band!

Heatwave is the absolute best. They performed at our February wedding and kept the party going all night long. They are incredible musicians and have so much energy; no one wanted to leave the dance floor. We also told them that we were going to want a hora on the longer side and they did not hesitate and delivered! They played a great variety of music, sang everything amazingly and were a pleasure to work with. Our guests are still talking about Heatwave and we cannot wait to go to another event they are performing at!

Incredible!

Best part of our wedding!

Heatwave is AMAZING! Tamara, Arthur, Tony, and the entire band are fantastic. We are still getting compliments from our guests. They kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Incredible

We had heatwave at our wedding and they were absolutely amazing!!!! Being from out of town and having a destination wedding we were initially worried about which band to pick since we hadn’t seen any live. We went with heatwave and it was the best decision we made. The singers blew us away. It truly felt like a concert. The band learned our first song and KILLED IT. It was like they had been performing it for years. The #1 thing people are raving about from our wedding is the band. I’ve never heard any singers as amazing as them. My jaw dropped the whole wedding. Also, Art was great to work with. HIRE THEM!! Don’t think twice!!!!!

Heatwave Music & Entertainment is unbelievable!!! Are you planning a wedding in south Florida? Well look no further because they can do EVERYTHINGGGGGG! I just celebrated my wedding this past weekend where we had a modern orthodox jewish wedding. The band and Yoel were able to cover every step and music style of the ceremony! We had Hebrew songs, Israeli modern songs, latin songs, oldies, modern rock and pop....they have incredible talent and range!!!! More importantly, they were so professional, accommodating and flexible. The band was amazing at feeding off the crowd's energy and excitement!!! Everyone of our guests said it was the best band they had ever heard!!!!

It doesn't get much better than Heatwave Music & Entertainment!

Don't hesitate - HIRE Heatwave for your wedding!!! Heatwave was phenomenal at our January wedding, and kept the party going all night long. Every single person was on the dance floor, including relatives in their 80's and 90's! Art was wonderful to work with. He included our requests, helped create our reception timeline, and played to the crowd, which resulted in the most memorable night of our lives. Our guests have not stopped raving about how amazing this band is. They are dynamic, professional, and each musician brings something special that creates a spectacular vibe. The vocalists are so talented, you won't believe that this is a live band playing until you look up. Art also did a great job MCing, and this band truly made our reception flow perfectly from beginning to end. No one wanted to stop dancing when the night ended! Yoel was awesome on the keyboard during our ceremony and played our special songs beautifully. Thank you Art, Yoel and Heatwave for giving us the wedding party of our dreams!

I love these guys! I spent the night with people coming over to me on the dance floor shouting "THIS BAND IS AMAZING!" all night long. And still, a month later, I keep having people tell me how much fun they had at our wedding because the band just kept everyone dancing all night long. These guys know what they're doing. Art is very very easy to work with. Just give him a call about 2-3 weeks before your event and set up a meeting with him. He'll go through your song lists and any requests, review your reception timeline with you and you're done! Plus he's a sweetheart so you know you're in good hands. If you want a really great band, go with Heatwave. You won't regret it.

This band flat out kills it. makes the party... wide range of talented singers w/ a range of music genres. super interactive and kept the dance floor full all night.

Art was super easy to work with and very professional and open to tailoring the music list - even learning a few songs - which killed it. Art was incredibly involved and responsive (probably had over 20 calls and 20+ e-mails).

he also organized up an incredible 4 string quartet for the wedding ceremony. seamless organization (which is nice when wedding planning!).

couldn't speak higher of heatwave - they knew what songs to play and when to keep the energy high. everyone loved them. they have incredible mash-ups and a huge list of songs that they absolutely nail.

thanks heatwave for celebrating with us in Palm Beach two weeks ago! you made the evening.

We danced all night, and from the packed dance floor, it seemed like everyone else did too. I believe that almost everyone present came to me and raved about how great the band was. BEST BAND EVER! South Florida Heatwave is simply amazing! We were married on 12/7/14 at Broken Sound Country Club (also amazing!). From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception, we could not have been happier with how incredible SF Heatwave sounded. There wasn’t one song they couldn’t perform to perfection. We were particularly impressed with Art and Yoel as they were always professional, responsive and accommodating. Our reception was a blast! The band got everyone up and dancing. Their energy was infectious! No one wanted the party to end! We saw many bands before choosing SF Heatwave. They surpassed all other bands by far. We are so glad we chose SF Heatwave! They put on a show. It's a true concert. Kept everyone dancing all night to a great mix of songs from oldies to even new ones that people aren't too familiar with. To top it off, they even were recommended to a bunch of our friends and family members some of which who have already booked them for their wedding events. Keep rocking!

Heatwave was phenomenal!!! We hired them based on recommendations my daughter received, but had not ever seen them perform. In the end, it was the best decision we made. Every guest was up dancing the entire night! Art was so easy to work with, and the band is so incredibly talented. They even learned the first dance song 2 weeks before the wedding. Their energy was amazing and they read the crowd so well. Our guests went crazy over every song they played! Most of our wedding came from NY and they were all blown away by Heatwave. Heat Wave definitely made our wedding a night to remember. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night long and played such an amazing variety (from oldies to songs just out on the radio). We had a guest use the Shazam app when they were singing and Heat wave was so on point, the app pulled up the original artist! I truly believe that music at a wedding can make it or break it! Our band was amazing...people were on the dance floor all night long! They had a great variety of music that they played...nailed the Oldies, but had MANY modern day hits as well! They kept the flow going strong throughout the whole night. Art and the entire Heatwave group were over the top!! No one wanted to leave the dance floor. The music selection was perfect. Art did an awesome job reading the crowd, and knowing exactly what song to play next. They truly hyped up the crowd, as a result people are still talking about the horah and how fun it was!

They learned new songs just for us and through out the whole process really made us feel so special!

Art and his band are absolutely THE BEST!!!!! There was not a minute where no one was dancing! They even bought a special instrument to play our Father/Daughter song! And, learned the exact tone of the song! I highly recommend them!!!!! Worth the price!!

I wish there were more stars than 5 because this band deserves it! If you want a party that your guests will never forget they are it. My wedding was 4/16/10 and I still can't get over how great they were. Your wedding is the biggest party of your life and Heatwave will ROCK IT like no other. They are worth every last penny! SPLURGE on the band....the dancing is what everyone is going to remember. Very classy....EXTREMELY accomodating....they sound unbelievable! People that don't dance WILL dance.

Best band we could have ever asked for! With a destination wedding of 170 people, we really had to show them a good time. The party was jumping from the second the reception started, and my guests were blown away. They accomodated a few special song dedications and really knew how to pace the evening. Yoel and Art were great guys and the overall band was a class act.

Heatwave band and Art Weiss are absolutely fabulous! The music is such an important part of the wedding and these guys nailed it! Worth every penny. This is the second wedding they have done for our family and we were just as impressed as the first time. The way the played the song for our first dance was incredible! The 9-piece band had our guests up dancing the entire evening - they kept the party going until the very end. No one wanted to leave (especially me)! Art Weiss and Heatwave are all class!!
Whatever type of music you are looking for they can give you-from traditional Jewish music like the Hora to country to hiphop they can accommodate.
They learned our wedding song and did a beautiful job. They kept everyone on the dance floor all night.
We used 6 of the 9 piece band and it felt like you had the entire band there.
They were wonderful ,classy and fun!

A little bit pricey, but I have to say they did come down on their price for me because I wanted them so badly and it was way out of my budget. I want to start out by saying that Art, the band manager and owner was very nice initially when he was first contacted. However, he never called back once my wedding day began to approach. I called and emailed several times and then finally he reached out weeks later when he had to go over the wedding day timeline. This was after I put down the deposit (half). When he would finally meet with me, he did not want to play any of the songs I chose and continued to tell me that he knew how to run a party and have a good time. He did not listen to anything i said about the timeline my wedding planner created. I emailed Yoel, who was in charge of my ceremony music. I wanted to tell him the three songs we wanted for our ceremony. He tried to tell me that I should have Israeli music at my ceremony because it was a Jewish ceremony and that I can not have "here comes the bride" because that is church music. I told him that was what I would like and I am not religious. He made me feel as though I was doing something wrong. I emailed him with extreme specifics in songs and the timeline, which was to start at 6 PM. He said he would start at ten to six as entertainment for the guests. He did not start until ten after six, which I found out from my guests.
At the reception, Art never said hello to me, my mother or my husband. He never once asked how everything was going. My reception started somewhat late and he just sat inside with the band waiting. He still took a 20 minute break at the incorrect time. They played songs that were not on my list and did not even play the top requested songs that I took time to write out for them. I had to ask my now husband to go up and tell them to play different music because we did not know what they were playing. Art never said goodbye. He just stopped at exactly 12, packed up and walked out. The professionalism with this band is horrible. I am extremely unhappy with Heatwave and would never recommend them to anyone.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback. There are many things that go on behind the scenes which you may be unaware of. I would like to share some additional information from your event.

The guests entered the ballroom later than expected which made it extremely difficult to catch up to the original timeline however we did shorten our set break to attempt to get back on track. There were also other factors that were out of our control and we tried to remedy the situation by creating a fun atmosphere for the reception. I apologize if the bride was upset that I did not say goodbye at the end of the evening, I wanted to be respectful to her since she was busy tending to her guests.

With over 35 years of experience and from all of our other reviews, you can see we put our hearts into every event to make it the very best it can possible be.
