Heather is an absolute joy to work with through every consultation, planning call, engagement sessions in the rain, she brought a positivity and fun to the process. Wow, Heather and her team are AMAZING!! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Heather! From the moment we met her at our engagement shoot, she was so warm and welcoming, instantly putting us at ease. She made us feel completely comfortable especially with us not having much experience having photos done. Throughout the wedding process, she went above and beyond to help answer any questions. Throughout our wedding day, she felt more like a friend than a photographer — guiding us with such kindness and genuine excitement for us. Her energy and passion made every moment so comfortable and fun.
We absolutely love her and are beyond grateful for how beautifully she captured our day. Looking through our photos, we’re reliving every joyful, emotional, and special moment all over again. We got married April 26th, 2025 at the Star Barn. Heather is such an amazing photographer!! She is such a joy to work with, brings a calmness but FUN personality to your wedding day, brings out the best in your entire wedding party, and truly acts like a friend from the moment you ask her to photograph your wedding and beyond. Not to mention, her work is AMAZING!!! I went into my wedding without a shot list and she absolutely exceeded my expectation!! She knew the exact poses and the exact places to take us to for beautiful pictures. We felt like we hardly missed any of our first wedding and we did not do a first look. She had us at cocktail hour and back on the dance floor in no time! You will not regret having her photograph your wedding!! -

From the moment Heather and I jumped on our first call, I knew something was different. I even told her that I feel like she just needs to be there, and words can’t express how happy I am she was. She is truly one of the nicest people I've ever met and then a phenomenal photographer on top of that. She is professional yet fun and engaging. She simply just brings out the best in people, and it shows in her photographs. She is also so well organized and pays attention to all the little details so you can enjoy your wedding. She is also willing and able to go above and beyond for her couples. For instance, she ventured out into freezing temperatures with us for our engagement photoshoot at Overlook Park. On our wedding day, she gathered our large families to get formal photos done at the church in record time, raced around in a golf cart to beat sunset at the reception venue, and then climbed a ladder for the ultimate group photo inside. How amazing is she! Her quick thinking and photography skills simply captured some of the best organic photos, and they’re my absolute favorite. Choose HMP and you will not be disappointed. Our family and friends can't get over how good our photographs turned out, and neither can we. We love re-living our wedding over and over again. -

Everything out of a dream!
Absolutely wonderful experience working with Heather Marie Photography! From the initial contact to the final delivery of our wedding photos, the team was truly fantastic. They were incredibly accommodating throughout the entire day, especially considering the intense heat of our July wedding. Despite the weather, they made sure we were comfortable, even providing us with well-timed breaks.
The end result of the photos was beyond our expectations. Our family and friends have continued to shower us with compliments, describing the photos as nothing short of magazine-quality. The creative vision of the team at Heather Marie Photography truly captured the essence of our special day in a way that exceeded our hopes.

There is not enough good thing I can say about Heather and her team. From day one Heather was like a best friend or sister I've never had. She was in many ways as excited about my wedding than me and my Husband were. There was never a forced smile in any of our pictures because all we could do was laugh and have fun during both are engagement session and wedding photos. The pictures were more than amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. I will be using Heather for all my professional pictures from now on cause I couldn't ask for anyone better. #TEAMHEATHERMARIE -

Heather Marie's crew is all so joyful! We worked with Rachel and Emily, and they were a pleasure! They were quick at snapping the photos, saving us more time in our night with our guests and one another, and they turned out beautiful! They have a great eye for beautiful shots, and suggested a number of locations to us that we didn't pick out ourselves. They even gave two of our groomsmen a ride over to the reception venue when they got left behind without a ride! Heather herself is so sweet, and got our sneak peeks turned around just two days later! She has been wonderfully responsive, and was so kind in helping us create a timeline that suited all our preferences. Would highly recommend this team! -

I have no idea where to even start. I met Heather at my sisters wedding. It was there when I realized how special her company was! I knew that I didn’t want anyone else to photograph our wedding. The process was seamless. I planned my wedding in less than 6 months and pulled it off because of HMP Photography. The pictures of my special day are out of this world amazing! You can’t even tell that it rained cats and dogs on our wedding day. They still kept the photos light and airy! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for capturing one of the most special days of our lives. We love you guys! We will definitely be coming to you for all our picture needs. -

Aaron and I originally met Heather (along with her husband!) at a venue's open house. We were so new to the wedding planning process and had no idea what we were doing, but we knew that there was something special about Heather. I began following her on social media right away and fell in love with her light and airy wedding photography along with her obvious passion for what she does. We set up an initial Zoom meeting with her and automatically knew that we wanted her as our wedding photographer. She is incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Not to mention a person who truly feels like a friend who wants the best for you and your special day from start to finish! Needless to say, we were so happy to learn Heather was available for our date! The engagement session that fall was so easy and fun. Heather told us exactly what to do and made us feel at ease the whole time. The wedding workbook, questionnaires, surveys, emails, and video calls that we completed leading up to the wedding day made us feel like she really was invested in our experience. She was a great person to go to with any wedding related question! We also had her photograph our rehearsal dinner the night before which was very beneficial as she got to know "who's who" prior to the big day. On our wedding day, she was punctual, kind, and so helpful. She made sure we got the photos we wanted while capturing so many other details we would have forgotten about or missed throughout the day. Heather helped our day run so smoothly. I never expected my wedding day to one of the calmest days of my life, but it truly was and I think Heather had a lot to do with that! My friends and family were so impressed with Heather and her team as well. We also used her photo booth which was a huge hit with our guests! We had beautiful sneak peek photos back by the end of the night which were so fun to see so quickly! Our fully gallery was returned quickly as well and is so beautiful as is our wedding album. Heather is such a special person who cares greatly about her job and her couples. I would recommend Heather to everyone! -

Heather and the HMP were amazing to work with! We found her on Facebook randomly one day. We set up a consultation call on Zoom to meet her and immediately fell in love with her peppy, outgoing and warm personality. It felt like we were talking to an old friend, even from the start! Heather made the entire process SO easy with her questionnaires, that my husband and I loved filling out together!, her quick email replies and willingness to answer the many questions we had.
Because she offered the engagement session we felt totally comfortable and at ease on our wedding day. I received numerous compliments from friends and family on the amazing photographer choice we chose! Taking pictures can get really exhausting but Heather's personality never waivered, always a smile on her face which helped us enjoy our time together. And to top it all off, the pictures were BEAUTIFUL. I'm so glad we chose Heather to capture our special day.
I would recommend Heather and her amazing team time and time again! -

Wonderful photography!!!!
There are so many words to describe Heather and her work. She is amazing, bubbly, kind, and most importantly puts your wants and needs first. We saw Heather’s work from a friends wedding. We were very pleased and moved forward. From our first meeting with her she is so friendly and welcoming making the decision easy. She is so thorough with her work moving forward. There will be nothing left undone in the process. When it comes to day of, all details are taken care of before the day. Makes everything move smoothly and seamlessly. The best!
Heather is an amazingly talented photographer!! From the first moment we met, we knew Heather was the one to photograph our wedding. It was like catching up with an old friend who I hadn’t seen in years. Her happiness, passion, and love of love shined through. She willingly took on the challenge of photographing us with our fur babies during our engagement session with ease. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, allowing us to be us, and caught moments of pure love. Then, despite only 4 months of planning, she nailed down every detail of our wedding day and had us feeling excited, special, and well taken care of. Our wedding day just so happened to be one of the hottest days of the year, a blazing 96 degrees. Despite the heat and a little unexpected rain, Heather and her associate photographer Megan exceeded all our expectations and then some! It was like two friends photographing us and sharing in our special day. The wedding was only 3 days ago, so we have only seen our sneak peek photos, but they are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! We can’t wait to see the full album and know that it will be all that we dreamed of. Heather has given us the gift of captured memories that we will have for the rest of our beautiful life together. We will never be able to thank her enough!! -

Heather is an all around amazing human! She absolutely LOVES what she does and it shows in everything she does. Heather was the first vender I found for me wedding (even before I had a date or venue). As a photographer myself, I met Heather through another photography group on Facebook and started following her work. I loved her light and airy style and enjoyed following her stories where she showed how she loved and served her couples. She worked with my husband and I through each step of the process. We had an amazing engagement session at Rocks State Park in MD. We told her we love to hike and explore and we go to hike to the top of a mountain and go in a waterfall all in one session! She even brough her hubby along :) We have become couple friends since that day and have had board game nights and enjoyed getting to know her doggies! When it came to the wedding day I know I could trust Heather with capturing every moment. She was so organized and made sure the day flowed smoothly. My family and friends all complemented me after about how nice she was and how beautiful her photos were. She organized my large family and got our photos done before our ceremony and kept everything moving on time. She is so bubbly and her energy just radiates :) She always brings a second shooter to make sure all angles are captured during getting ready, ceremony, dancing etc. By the end of the wedding experience I felt like I didn't just hire a wedding photographer but I gained a new friend! We love Heather!!! -

There are so many amazing things I could say about Heather and her work. I have had to the pleasure of meeting her for my best friends wedding and knew immediately I wanted her for ours! Wow!! I am beyond amazed and so grateful for heather!! Above and beyond doesn’t seem to cover it! From day 1 of booking her she has been nothing short of responsive, helpful, joyful, supportive and such a blast overall! During our engagement shoot she made me and my now husband feel so comfortable in front of the camera! By the time our big day rolled up we felt like models! Not only did she capture the most incredible pictures of our wedding day, but she was so kind and fun to work with the whole time! At one point she got down on her knees on the wet ground (it had just rained!) to button my dress for me! She kept us on track through the whole wedding day making sure we had time to get all the shots we wanted but never stressed or pressured me out of conversations. She had the perfect way of popping up right when we needed to grab shots! Everyone thought we had been friends for ages! Not only that but she put together a little sneak peek of shots for us to see before she left our wedding! I cannot boast enough about heather. She absolutely killed it! These photos are beyond what I could’ve imagine looking back on for years! If your considering booking her, stop thinking and do it immediately!! It’s not possible to be disappointed by her! -

Heather is Your Girl
You are so lucky if you are here reading this review, because it means you are considering Heather for your wedding photographer, and I am telling you, you have hit the jackpot! Because she is YOUR GIRL! Heather has been an absolute pleasure to work with since day 1. It was very important to me to bring in people to my wedding who were passionate about what they do and who would contribute to making our day happy, relaxed and fun! From the moment I met Heather, even through the Zoom, I could just feel her energy and knew she would fit into my vision. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable from our engagement photos to our wedding photos and it truly shows in our faces and body language, and it made for absolutely amazing pictures and memories. Heather is extremely organized and helped keep me on track as a bride who was planning a wedding in 7 months! She truly got to know my husband and I, as well as our parents and friends, and was such a great part of our wedding day. My vendors loved that she coordinated and collaborated with them, and my bridesmaids loved that she kept them in the loop when pictures and sneak peeks were ready. She seriously works magic because our pictures were ready so quickly, and she paid attention and got all of the details we wanted to have captured on our wedding. She has just gone above and beyond every step of the way, and even though I KNOW she is SO busy, I truly felt like I had her complete attention and was her only client - that is something special. Simply the Best - Don't wait - Hire Heather now!!
I cannot recommend Heather enough! We booked her about 2 years before our big day and she has never ceased to amaze us. She is reliable and always is quick to answer questions or give advice. Behind the scenes, she does so much to make preparing for weddings as stress free as possible. You seriously don't need to hire a separate wedding coordinator because she can do it all! I did not have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. Everything went so smoothly and she blended right in with our friends and family. Our guests thought she was a lifelong friend of ours based on how great she got along with us and how she got to know our family and bridal party. The attention to detail Heather puts in to everything she does is incredible. Please do not hesitate to book Heather, you will become part of a big family and will love your photos!! -

Heather is the best photographer ever
Heather is by far the most AMAZING photographer I could have chosen for my wedding day! From day one, she was so responsive and attentive to any questions we had. She was so personable, and friendly (not to mention she does great work!! Obviously!) and that was all before we even met her in person. She schedules engagement photo shoots so that we can get comfortable with the camera even before our wedding day. Heather communicates so well, and keeps us in the loop.
The day of the wedding heather not only was our photographer, but was also there to help out if we needed to find a bridesmaid or a missing bouquet. I felt so comfortable being photographer by her, and at times I didn’t even realize she was taking pictures! She wasn’t invasive at all and took such amazing pictures for us. I’m so happy that we hired her and I would highly recommend her for your wedding as well!

Amazing, fun, professional, blown away!
If you want a photographer who will have your back during the entire wedding planning process from beginning to end and then some, Heather is your girl! My husband has never had so much fun taking photos! We were absolutely amazed by her work and had such a hard time picking just one photo for our wedding thank yous, but what a blessing to have SO many amazing photos to choose from! Wedding day flew by, but Heather made sure to capture every moment for us to look back on and cherish forever. She is amazing! Working with Heather on our engagement photos and wedding day was so wonderful! She was super flexible pertaining to our budget, schedule, and desires for the day! Heather made the experience as comfortable as possible for two people that can definitely be awkward in front of a camera :) Everyone in our bridal party and all our family members loved working with her and her bubbly, fun personality! The absolute best photographer
Heather was amazing to work with... beginning to end!! Even when we thought it was over, she surprised us with a little gift after our wedding! She is energetic, sweet, easy going and fun! She was responsive the entire process and amazing to work with! She was so flexible and easy to contact. On the wedding day, she arrived early and checked out the location for fun spots! She kept up on our timeline....we appreciated this so we could enjoy the moment, and she would tell us what was next. The photos....wow, amazing... we have hundreds of favorites! It is hard to decide which is our favorite one! Heather even showed us some photos while we were eating dinner... it was so fun to see a sneak peak so soon! I would highly recommend her and would love for her to be our photographer for other special moments! We are so blessed and fortunate that she was our wedding photographer! -

My husband and I worked with Heather for our engagement session as well as a styled wedding shoot. Of the photographers we've worked with for other occasions, Heather surpassed them in her direction and timeliness alone.
Her vision and instruction of poses was easy to understand and made us feel 100% comfortable in front of her and the lens. The turn-around time of the photos was far quicker than expected.

My husband and I could not be more thrilled about the experience we had with Heather! We actually lucked into working with her as we had initially reached out to an old college friend, who then reached out to Heather to team up and they gave us the absolute best experience! We had a blast getting to know her at our engagement shoot and could instantly tell that she would keep our wedding day up-beat and running smoothly. She definitely lived up to this expectation at our wedding. All the thoughtful little goodies leading up to the day and the thorough preparation made all the difference. Heather made sure to know who all the family/wedding party members were, who needed photographed when, and what vibe we wanted to achieve. She also helped make our first look photos extra special with all the love and support she brought to it. I was so happy with the efficiency of the posed photos and the sneak peak we even got during the reception! And besides the great experience, we now have absolutely GORGEOUS photos to cherish forever! Every happy moment, special detail, and fun time was captured and we couldn't be more grateful.
