Perfect! Absolutely PERFECT!
I could not recommend hiring Heather and/or her team more! We had the best experience from the time we inquired about booking, to engagement pictures, to our wedding day. Heather got our wedding gallery to us in SUCH a timely manner - we could not believe it! And… we LOVE all of the pictures so dang much. 100000000% recommend! -

I first chose Heather based on her Instagram photos. I knew I wanted a photographer who could capture photos in a warm tone. My expectations were surpassed! I loved being able to meet Heather and her husband at our engagement photo session. Heather helped talk us through different locations for the photos ahead of time which was incredibly helpful. As we were preparing for the wedding Heather was fantastic with communication (this was very important to me while going through the planning process). She was able to provide a detailed schedule for the day and helped us to adjust the schedule to fit our needs. The wedding day ended up pouring rain, but Heather was able to provide several suggestions on where to go to still capture beautiful photos. I could not thank Heather and her husband enough for helping us create memories and photos that we will be able to remember for the rest of our life! -

HFP High Quality / Stunning photos
If there is one thing that I am most happy about from my wedding, its our pictures. Heather took the MOST gorgeous pictures, and she was the sweetest and most fun photographer. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and was easy to work with. I am so happy we chose her. If I had to go through the process again, I would still choose her as our photographer, no questions asked! -

Heather's team is TRULY AMAZING!!! Easy communication, stress-free flexibility, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. I will be hiring her for ALL our Des Moines and surrounding area photographer needs. Amazing price for amazing photography. She even delivered 3 weeks AHEAD of schedule! Yepp a one-week turnaround time for my wedding photos(6 hours of photography)! I received well over 500 beautifully edited photos! She answered all my emails in less than 36 hours, made changes as soon as she found out about them, and was patient the whole time. Book her for your wedding and you won't be disappointed. -

An Absolute Dream
Heather and her husband Mikhail were incredible. I would never go with anyone else if I were to do it all over again. My husband and I felt so comfortable and confident in front of the camera with them around. They are both so sweet and excellent communicators. Her editing style is the perfect blend of natural and professional. The gifs she made of us our especially beautiful! I still get a ridiculous amount of compliments on our wedding pictures 6 months in. -

Heather is amazing!!
We heard of Heather through a family member who had a wonderful experience with her. We were planning a destination wedding and Heather was immediately on board. Although we lived in different states, Heather maintained communication with us through the months of planning, and even when we didn’t have the answers to her questions, she was more than willing to go with the flow and use her expertise to fill in the blanks. Once we finally met Heather and her husband on our wedding trip, we knew we had made a great decision. She was super supportive of everything we wanted, and she was able to find ways to put her creative touches on all of our ideas. During our trip, Heather spent countless hours scouting locations for us to capture our special day with our family and friends, and boy did it pay off. We set up an engagement shoot the day prior to the wedding and although Heather pushed us out of our comfort zones, she ensured us that we were doing great and found ways to make the whole experience fun. Our wedding day was seamless. Heather had set up a whole itinerary in advance and made sure there was enough time throughout the day in case something or someone was running behind, and it went as smooth as we could’ve imagined. She captured incredible pictures throughout our whole day, and she did it in a completely relaxing fashion. We would pick her over and over again, and we would recommend her to anyone looking for a great communicator, an absolute professional, and simply put, a cool person who makes your moments fun. -

Wow! We received our gallery from Heather this afternoon and are thrilled with the photos from our small, December wedding ceremony at the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden.
With just a few weeks' notice before our wedding date, we chose Heather after connecting with her warm, professional demeanor on the phone. We also liked that she had previous galleries from the Garden and knew the marks in the Conservatory, since our time there would be limited due to their COVID precautions. Heather DELIVERED!
She was game to take some outdoor shots in the East Village afterwards, keeping our spirits high and energy up in 25-degree weather! High noon on a bright day probably wouldn't be a photographer's first choice, but that was the timing for our ceremony. Even still, Heather's editing and experience shined through and gave us dozens - hundreds! - of gems in our gallery.
She is excellent at directing a fun, lively session. We have so many photos that capture movement, personality and - most importantly - our love. -

Heather is such an incredibly talented photographer! I spent countless hours searching for a wedding photographer that would be the right fit for us. I ended up finding her site and fell in love with the feel and quality of her photos, and her prices are so reasonable. She came all the way to Chicago where we live to do our engagement photos. She and Mikhail were so flexible, we rescheduled our engagement photos three times due to COVID-19 and she was so supportive each time, wanting it to be perfect for us. Our engagement and wedding photos blew us away and exceeded our expectations. Heather was such a joy to work with. I can't recommend her highly enough! -

Absolutely Amazing!
We are so impressed with Heather Ferreria Photography and will continue to use them to capture our family's milestones. Heather and Mikhail worked as a team to perfectly capture us in an engagement session and small intimate wedding. Our wedding package offered a complementary engagement session and we were surprised at the ease of the session. They always based their shots on lighting, landscape, and poses that uniquely capture you. If you enjoy the outdoors, make sure to request the outdoor golden hour and you will not be disappointed. The wedding package pricing is very reasonable, and we were able to customize our coverage. Originally, we booked 5 hours of coverage with 200 guests, but the event was rescheduled to a one-year vow renewal due to COVID-19. We transitioned to a small intimate wedding at home. Heather and Mikhail planned and accommodated a new wedding package in a week's time. They know how to adapt to a new location and quickly identify the perfect backdrops. We were surprised at the number of intimate pictures and details that can be captured at a smaller wedding. Heather professionally conducts her business through a variety of tools such as her website, social media, and client management software. All I can say about working with Heather is WOW!!! She did such an amazing job with our wedding and engagement photos. She is so easy to work with and was very flexible with scheduling our engagement shoot. While taking photos there were a lot of candids, which was great for some of our groomsmen that don't do well with picture taking. Heather had so many fun ideas for wedding party pictures that weren't clique. She was also really good about taking pictures during our ceremony/reception to help us see moments that we would have missed other wise. I cannot thank Heather enough for all her hard work on our wedding pictures!! -

We may be somewhat biased because Heather is a great friend, but she is so much fun to do a photo shoot with as well! We loved how our photos turned out & have used them all for a variety of things (Christmas cards, framed around our home, etc.)! -

Heather is not only a talented photographer, she is so fun to work with! She was flexible with my schedule, ensured that we felt taken care of and made me and my fiance feel so special during our photo session. Heather was also very prompt in editing and I had the photos back within a couple weeks. She is also knowledgeable in photography. She did not just pick up a camera and decide to start a business. She knows important lighting, editing and posing techniques to ensure that your photos are beautiful. Heather has the talent, but also skills and knowledge to back up her work. -
