Heather was the photographer for our wedding at 78th Street Studios in Feb. She was great to work with both when planning our wedding, on the day of the event, and in delivering the photos. She was able to capture the whimsy of our decor and the cool art of the space. Our families also trusted Heather and loved working with her allow her to capture the candids we really wanted. Omg heather!
A friend of ours recommended Heather for our wedding photos. From our first interaction with Heather, we knew that it was a perfect fit and she was the photographer for us. She was very engaging, asked all of the important questions (some I never even would have thought of) and thought of every important detail. We didn't have a ton of locations in mind for photos except for the Cleveland sign at Edgewater and we didn't want to go too far. Heather came up with so many wonderful spots that were close by and the results were absolutely amazing.
At one point, Heather could tell that my husband and I were feeling a little overwhelmed so she took us outside (just us) and let us have a moment to breathe. The pictures from that moment are so special and something we will cherish forever. Heather was not only professional, creative, personable and kind but she was so funny and felt like a friend that we had known for awhile. I cannot recommend Heather Danielle photograph enough! Heather is everything you could want in a photographer. She is organized, thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and skilled. She helped determine what photos I wanted and organized the photo taking schedule. She honored all of our photo requests and more! I love candid shots, and she went above and beyond to capture some wonderfully sweet moments of our day. She also took many photos I didn't even think to ask for, but that I will forever cherish. Heather did an amazing job with our pictures, they turned out very clear and high quality, and accurately pictured the day. She was very professional, she was able to work around the weather and made all of the pictures look bright and sunny even though it was raining periodically through the day. She was very thorough and took into account all of the small details and certain photos that I wanted. She was also super fun to work with, I always felt comfortable around her and when I wasn’t sure of what poses or photos I wanted she definitely took the lead and helped me out a lot. She also gave us so many pictures that were very bright, vibrant, and clear. There’s not a single pose or angle that I feel like I missed out on. She is worth all the time and money and I would highly recommend her skills to anyone.

Heather made my special day THAT much better!
I had a micro wedding this past February at my home. Not only was it small but it was put together pretty quickly. I scrambled to get all the normal things in place including a photographer. I found Heather on wedding wire and frankly, I could not have done it without her! Heather was responsive immediately and helped me navigate a pretty stressful timeline. She answered all my questions and put me at ease knowing I could confidently cross photographer off my list. She was prompt the day of my wedding and had some really thoughtful ideas. My mom passed away and Heather found some really great ways to include photos and heirlooms of my mom so I could include her in my special day! Heather is a great photographer, and we loved working with her! From start to finish, Heather is great at communication, she makes herself available through text & email, and responds quickly.
She asks the right questions to get to know you, your style, and the look you are going for with your photos. She photographed our wedding PERFECTLY. She captured the goofiness and personality of my husband and me.
I was so excited when we found out Heather is tall! Both my husband and I are over 6ft tall. It may seem like an odd comment, but shorter photographers don't have the right (height) angle for taller people.
She had a fast turnaround time for the pictures as well. She let us know that she was busy with weddings, and that it could take up to 2 months to get the pictures processed and finalized to us. She got them back to us in 2 weeks!
We look forward to working with Heather throughout the milestones in our lives and having her capture all our special moments.

Heather makes you look like you belong in a magazine! My husband and I loved working with Heather for the entire wedding process. She was very easy to talk to; she was honest, realistic, creative, and fun; she was thorough and explained EVERYTHING - she even discussed small details I had not even thought about. I am very self-conscious about the way I look in photos and usually hate every picture that I am in, but Heather is a Goddess of photography! She took our engagement photos and they were absolutely stunning. She shot from the best angles with perfect lighting to highlight our best features and hide imperfections we were self-conscious about. The same goes for our wedding day; no awkward angles that emphasized a double chin, stomach & back rolls, flabby arms…you get the idea.
When we hired Heather we were expecting a photographer, but what we got was much more than that. Yes, we got an outstanding photographer who is an expert in her profession, but we also got an honest opinion, coaching and guidance when we had no idea what we were supposed to be doing, facilitation to keep us on track so we could accomplish everything we wanted to do on our wedding day, and a friend alongside us throughout the entire process.
We received our pictures back quicker than expected and we are beyond thrilled; all our expectations were exceeded. We HIGHLY recommend Heather Danielle Photography – you will not be disappointed.

Heather was everything I wanted in a photographer. She was on time, friendly, efficient, and took amazing pictures. Her pricing is good because of how amazing the pictures turn out. My wedding had terrible lighting, I got terrible sun burn, and she was able to edit the pictures so you wouldn't have even known. I highly recommend Heather!!

Wedding Photographer
We hired Heather Daniels to photograph and document our daughter’s wedding. From start to finish, she was thoroughly professional. Heather’s price structure is very competitive and very detailed. There were no surprises or problems. Our biggest request was to document everyone that attended the event which she did down to the last guest! We were thrilled with the final photos and any requests on touch-ups were promptly accommodated. We have no hesitations in referring Heather for any photographic occasion. You will not be disappointed!

You can't go wrong with Heather!
From the moment I booked her to the moment I hugged her in gratitude at the end of my wedding reception, Heather was an absolute dream to work with. At our first consultation, she provided many and varied examples of her work and the services she provides. She answered all of my (sometimes off the wall) questions promptly and clearly.
I'm hopeless at posing, but she gently guided me through the process and made me feel so comfortable the whole time.
In addition to all this, she rolled with my odd sense of humor (I don't know that another photographer would wholeheartedly include a photo of their bride eating chicken nuggets) and was amazing to my family and my friends.
In her diligence, she also pointed out the incredible sunset and took us outside to capture some amazing romantic shots in it.
Working with Heather was like working with a very professional friend and everyone enjoyed their experience with her.

Look no further for your wedding photographer! Heather did an amazing and professional job! She captured every moment on our big day, even when the weather was not permitting. She really cares about her clients and does excellent making the photos feel real. She also has excellent response time with emails and works with you every step of the way! She definitely knows what she is doing and helps plan the timeline of the wedding day even if you have no idea where to start (like me). Heather made wedding planning even easier and captured moments that will remind my husband and I of the best day ever. If you want a great photographer with natural looking photos then Heather is the photographer for you!

Heather was a joy to work with and the groom and I both felt very comfortable working with her. Neither of us are very comfortable being the center of attention and having the focus be on just us, so I was very pleased she was able to get some beautiful, and natural looking, pictures of us together. And she went along with all the goofiness and got us a bunch of fun candids, which was what we wanted. Plus when she knew that we only wanted color pictures instead of black/white, she made sure to get us colorized versions of all pictures. We had a Halloween wedding so the orange coloring in all the pictures was very vibrant, which was perfect! And she got pictures of all the details (card box, guest book, etc) which I specified I would like to have. Thanks for everything Heather!

From our first meeting with her you can tell she is very passionate about what she does and will ensure you get all the important moments of your big day captured in a photo. Her pricing is also extremely reasonable. What I really liked is that she did not have set packages you had to choose from. She looked at our needs and based on that only charged us for what we truly needed. She sends you nice reminders of when your payment is due so with everything else going on you don't have to worry about missing any payments. During that time she would also checks in to see if there is anything she can do or help with. She gave us a large selection of photos and they were all amazing!!! Heather not only went above and beyond in all aspects of her service but also as a person. She is as sweet as can be but also has a great talent when it comes to photography and good business practice. Before the wedding we did an engagement shoot and the weather was not the greatest, but Heather communicated well so that we could still get a shoot in during the 2 dry hours of the entire day. Every question that I emailed or texted her before the wedding was answered thoroughly and in a timely fashion. Not to mention...My husband and I both LOVE our wedding photos! He was concerned about having only one photographer instead of two but, looking at the photos, you would never know the difference. In fact, we both thought she did better than some photographer duos! I couldn't recommend Heather enough, I'm so glad she was part of my special day.

Heather was the photographer for my wedding in June 2017. She is a true professional and at the same time one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She'll make you, your wedding party, and family feel comfortable, and at the same time, she'll get all the important shots as well as special shots you didn't even know you wanted.
I couldn't be happier with my photos. One of Heather's true strengths is her editing. She has a meticulous eye for detail and will make you look flawless yet natural. I can't tell what has been in edited in my photos - I just know that they all look really good. I highly recommend Heather as a wedding and special occasion photographer. You won't regret hiring her!

I would say picking your wedding photographer is probably one of the most important decisions of your wedding since they will be the memories you keep forever. My sister and I both worked with Heather and I'm so glad we did. My husband and I just celebrated our first anniversary yesterday and going through all the photos brought us back to all the great memories she captured. The price was incredibly affordable and the pictures were perfect. Heather was fun to work with and really listened to what my husband and I wanted for our photos. My husband and I got married last June and I couldn't be happier with choosing heather as our photographer. Heather was extremely professional and prepared in our initial meeting, not to mention her prices were very reasonable! I felt like heather really cared about me and my wedding. She continued to check in with me throughout my wedding planning journey to make sure everything else was running smooth and gave me support and suggestions when things went wrong. Heather is a natural at what she does. Not only did we have a great time with her, she kept in contact with us throughout the entire process. She worked with us to get exactly what we wanted and even was completely honest with us when she thought something would be a waste of the time we paid for (ie. conditions wouldn't be favorable for pictures on the party bus, etc). She was willing do whatever we wanted, but made the most of our time and settings, doing pictures at the ceremony site, the Hall of Fame, downtown arts district, and at the reception. Our pictures turned out amazing and she was affordable!! You won't regret hiring Heather!!

I would absolutely recommend Heather Danielle Photography to anyone who is looking for a great photographer to capture their wedding day. I live in Columbus, OH and got married in Avon, OH so Heather was so flexible when it came to scheduling all the phone consultations as well as making sure our wedding timeline was all set to go for the big day. Our wedding date was 9/03/16 and she delivered a Facebook preview album before Labor Day weekend officially ended which was even earlier than what she originally had estimated! She captured the silliness of our bridal party perfectly and her attention to detail when taking pictures of my husband and I was evident from the start. Heather is a true professional and I am so thankful for the referral that was given to me to book her as our photographer.

Heather truly was a joy to work with and because of her insight, flexibility, and hard work, our wedding day was captured perfectly. I'm writing these comments as groom, now husband, because due to an injury to my now wife, I dealt mostly with Heather during the wedding planning stages. Being a male, naturally I was nervous about screwing up any duty I had in the wedding planning including the photography. I met Heather on my own and immediately felt comfortable. She was friendly, explained everything in simple terms (important for me), gave extremely helpful suggestions, and worked with me to meet our budgeted cost (in retrospect, I think we got her services for a true bargain!). After meeting her for the first time, she constantly remained available and provided quick and helpful responses to any questions we came across. She even worked with us on creating a time line for the day of the wedding. She provided basic knowledge, which of course we needed, about getting photo permits and applying for them on our behalf for one of our locations. On the day of the wedding, she was fantastic during the entire day. She had great ideas for places to take photos as she had previously visited the two locations prior to the wedding day. The second location was at a family friend's cottage, which the owner was extremely excited about having our photos taken at this location. Heather was able to deal very effectively with his excitement by being professional and reminding him that the goal was to make this day perfect for us. When we got the photos from Heather, we were very pleased with how they all came out. In fact, we had several printed out and framed which we gave as Christmas presents last week and they were all huge hits! I'd absolutely recommend Heather to other couples simply because she works hard in all aspects of the process from planning, to the big day, and to providing the photos with a true emphasis on focusing on what the couple wants for their wedding day!

She made us think of things for our big day that i never even thought of! Heather was amazing with our wedding party and was so flexible with any change in plans I threw her way. Heather was very professional and responsive through our whole wedding process and even after when wrapping up prints and photo books. She has been more than a vedor for our wedding but she has become a great friend too! I highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a fantastic experience and awesome wedding photos!!!!

Our wedding photos turned out amazing. Heather is great at what she does and she really listens to what you want. From our first meeting until the end of our wedding night, she always made sure we were on the same page. Heather made sure to capture the moments we wanted and any special photo requests we had. She definitely helped the day run smoothly and I did not have to worry about if she got certain moments on camera. Anytime I had questions, Heather responded in a timely manner and made sure to get in touch with me during the months leading up to the wedding. Her prices were very fair compared to the other wedding photographers in our area.

Heather was awesome! She was a true joy to work with. I absolutely love her style - very classy, meaningful, beautiful, and not tacky or ridiculous. She is truly just a nice person, first off. She met with us first and presented very professionally with examples of her work and helpful information. She helped us with the whole picture process, down to how best to fit in pictures between our ceremony and reception. It was nice having someone tell us how best to incorporate the picture process into our event and not just take pictures and make us figure out how that was going to happen. Heather and I sent detailed emails back and forth about how/when to do which pictures according to our schedule and it was clear she was invested in giving us a good product. She was easy to be around when taking the pictures (which can actually be kind of awkward!) so it was nice to feel comfortable with someone during those times. What I love about Heather is that she puts up a preview of your pictures (be it engagement, wedding, etc.) on her business Facebook page a few days after shooting them. It's a great way to see a handful of your pictures right away instead of waiting for all of them later. It definitely satisfies your urge to see them while waiting for the rest! Heather was through and through, wonderful to work with. Thank you Heather for being there with us on such a special day!

Heather was wonderful to work with! She met with us to discuss what we wanted and we hired her on the spot. She was great about communicating with us before, during and after the wedding. On the wedding day, Heather was superb, always professional, fun to have around, creative with the space we had (it rained and our daydreams of outside photos had to be revamped). Our pictures turned out beautifully...Heather has an eye for creative shots that don't feel staged. Two weeks earlier than the date she'd quoted us, we got the high resolution photos on two discs, each photo in color, black/white, and sepia. She also gave us low resolution images so we could look quickly through all of them. Thank you so much, Heather!!

From our very first contact with Heather, she was very flexible and easy to work with. During our initial meeting, she made an effort to get to know us and our style to ensure that she would capture the moments that we felt were important. She had a lot of great suggestions which helped to plan our wedding day and gave us more time to spend with family and friends. Heather also checked in with us regularly beforehand in case we had any last minute questions or changes.
On the day of our wedding, she was at the location even before we arrived. She was very patient and caring toward our guests. She was also very attentive toward us and was careful to get all of the images we had discussed in advance. In addition, we were able to see a preview of our photos within a day.
Our wedding photos are beautiful and there are a ton of them! We have received so many compliments and our family is having a hard time choosing which ones to order. Beyond that, her prices could not be more reasonable.
We are so grateful that we chose Heather to capture these moments for us.

Heather was a wonderful photographer! My wedding was a little more laid back than most, and like most brides I was clueless about planning. Heather was friendly and helpful through the whole process. During our first meeting, she picked up on the fact that I didn't even know what to ask, and just went through explaining a typical day. Anytime I had a question for planning purpose I felt comfortable reaching out to her and she replied same day, usually within a few hours.
The day of the wedding was an adventure as my wedding was outdoors and right after the bridal party walked down the aisle, it started to storm. We called a time out and moved the remainder of the ceremony inside. Heather was very flexible and her pictures still turned out incredible. She really made me feel like we had been friends for years, which is nice to have that kind of comfort as a bride on your wedding day.
The turn around time for receiving my photo disc from her was also phenomenal. She had told me to estimate about 6 weeks(which seems to be about standard), but after my 2 week honeymoon I came home to receive the disc a few days later! As a person who works in Customer Service, I am a believer in over promise and under deliver and she exceeded my expectations in all aspects of her business ethics and approach.

Heather is an amazing photographer. My husband and I searched for a photographer that would be the best quality for the money we wanted to spend. Heather was very flexible when I asked to meet and get to know her a little better before asking her to be the photographer. She brought examples of her work with her and made sure to make me feel comfortable with such a big decision. Hiring Heather Danielle Photography was extremely easy and she made sure to keep in contact with us through everything. During the wedding, Heather was very early and made sure to meet everyone and survey where amazing spots would be to take photos. I don't believe that many photographers would go out of their way to take the shots she took with our wedding party. When it was time for the reception, she was always right there in case we needed pictures with friends and family. When I received my photos, I couldn't believe all the moments she captured. It seemed like she really went out of her way to make sure our day was special to our families and us. We would 100% recommend her to anyone and will be using her in the future.

I do wish there was a way for family members and friends to order the pictures off line. Many of them wanted large pictures from the wedding and since there is no ordering process they had to go through me, it just made another step to the whole wedding process.

Heather is very easy to work with - flexible and good responsiveness via email for out of town planning. The photos were beautiful (clear/focused) and I was very happy to get color, b&w and sepia tone for all of them, and to have every photo touched up vs. other vendors who only do the 'best 300'.
I was disappointed that the end of the reception pictures all focused on the dance floor (everyone is singing/dancing and looks kind of silly), while there were lots of other people all around the venue that would have been great photo opportunities - the groom was also a bit disappointed that Heather didn't provide poses/recommended photos for the 'men getting ready' shots other than putting on ties, and there were a few photos I had requested that were not taken (photos of parents during speeches, on-lookers while doing the father/daughter dance, mother/son dances).
Despite a few missed opportunities that may have been captured if we had 2 photographers, overall, Heather did a great job and was a great value for what we paid.
