I cannot recommend this vendor enough!!!! She went above and beyond what we asked...the music was top notch...her price was so reasonable! Such a good find. Truly impressed with her commitment to providing a great experience for us and our guests. Thank you Lisa!

Lisa was amazing! This is the second time she was a DJ for us, as both of our daughters were married and Heartsong was there! Lisa was so organized and professional. She recently worked with my daughter to hear her vision, everyone danced and had a great time. She is simply the best!

I love love love Lisa and her crew with Heartsong. She went so much beyond what she had to as my DJ and I don't think that I could have kept my sanity if it weren't for her. She helped me SO much with little things & made everything wonderful for us. Did I mention that I love Heartsong? Cause I love Heartsong. You will NOT regret using them for your event.

We hire Lisa to DJ for our wedding reception and we met with twice before the event. First time was a quick interview to see if we would work well together and to decide if we wanted to hire her. The second was a week before the wedding and was to get the final details down. At both meetings, Lisa was on time, prepared, and gave us a wide variety of options on how we wanted to the wedding. She made helpful suggestions from her experience and knowledge while allowing us to do what we wanted.

At the reception, everything was set up perfectly. We wanted two portions: a cocktails and dinner time with lighter mood music and then a big, fun, family-friendly dance party. We used the provided website to pick music genres we wanted and gave Lisa copies of songs we wanted to play. I will admit that our specific song selections were pretty eclectic, but Lisa managed to play them throughout the night without them being out of place. We had a wonderful time and it was definitely due to the amazing work that Lisa put into it.

Lisa from Heartsong Entertainment was a fantastic DJ and MC, and definitely helped make our wedding day one to remember!

Before the wedding, she took the time to meet with me face-to-face to discuss the details of our reception, and provided us with a convenient online planner. Lisa was very professional, kind, and helpful, and even helped me find affordable cake vendors when I was running out of options.

Lisa went above and beyond for us on our wedding day, and thanks to her, our reception went smoothly with perfect timing, and of course, great music! To anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or next event, I highly recommend her services; you won't be disappointed!

Lisa did a wonderful job as our DJ. Even when WE messed up during the ceremony, she was quick to backpedal on the music until we needed it! She really paid attention to the songs we REALLY wanted played during the reception and took any requests and quickly played them as well.

Lisa Thompson was THE easiest person to work with. She was so very informative and helpful during all of our communications prior to and on our daughter's wedding day. She made me feel at ease during our first conversation, and encouraged me to believe that "we can do this!" She is so much more that just a DJ; she was the MC for the evening-yet made sure the spotlight was always on the wedding couple. Lisa kept the evening moving and upbeat, yet not rushed feeling. The wedding reception was flawless. Lisa is able to be super organized yet extremely flexible, creating a very smooth flowing program for the entire evening. She was extremely interested in making sure that the bride and groom had things occur they way they wanted them--while at the same time steered us all with her experience as to what works...and also what often does "not work". I would highly recommend Lisa's talents to anyone.

Lisa with Heartsong Entertainment was wonderful!!! She was very helpful in the early stages all the way until the day of. She gave advice, listened to all of our wants and needs, and was all around excellent. Besides djing, she even helped with coordinating which was a big plus. All the songs were each selected from us (the couple.) We were able to pick our own playlists for each section of the wedding, and we were very pleased with the outcome. Lisa helped a lot with extra things, like holding props for dances, and coordinating the wedding. We would highly recommend her as a dj!!

Lisa did an amazing job for our wedding! She went out of her way to make sure that the day was smooth and perfect. We were in a last minute bind looking for DJs and she had a low price with a lot to offer. My husband and I had no idea what we were doing when it came to planning out the wedding day, so not only did she DJ for us, but she took extra time to set out a time line for us and even showed up to our rehearsal to help us figure out what to do! If it weren't for her, our day would have been chaotic and we would have been totally clueless on what we were doing. She was great with timing, helping us pick out songs, being just a call/email away if we had questions or needed ideas, etc. I would recommend her to ANYONE getting married! You won't regret it! SHE IS AMAZING!

What can I say...Lisa was on time...she was wonderful. She listens to you and is about as nice as they come. It was a breeze working with her. I never worried about what she was doing. The quality is high here. VERY HIGH!

Lisa was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond what and helped make my wedding perfect. She was more than just a DJ; I turned to her whenever I was overwhelmed and she helped me through it and made sure everything went like I wanted, kept everyone at my venue on the timeline she helped me set out and overall made sure everyone at my wedding had a good time. These guys made my receptioin soooo fun! Everyone I have talked to said we had the most fun wedding they have ever been to. We owe that to the DJs keeping everyone on the dancefloor! They are the nicest people and you will enjoy getting to know them as they help you plan your wedding.

If someone were to ask me what the most important expense is in a wedding, I would definitely have to say the DJ. We had attended a wedding before ours where the DJ was extremely dis-engaged, and it showed in the ambiance of the whole evening- people left very early.

That being said, that was NOT SO with Rob and Lisa! From the moment we first met them, we could tell that they were commited to providing a unique and memorable experience for each couple. They were kind enough to meet at a Starbucks close to where we live, and we spoke for 2 hours during the initial meeting. I believe that they were a value for the cost, and the dance floor was never empty at the wedding, whether it was kids goofing around or adults shaking their groove-thang!The whole crowd *loved* the interactive games they set up, and even surprised me with a blindfold game that turned out to be hilarious.

They were always available via email/phone, and they did a great job of keeping me on-track (I was a final semester nursing student who also worked full-time.)

We were EXTREMELY pleased with their services, and would highly recommend them to any couple getting married in the DFW area!

My husband and I had Heartsong as the DJs for our wedding and we absolutley loved them! They were very entergetic and envolved everyone at the reception. I would highly recommend them if you want a fun and entertaining event!!

Lisa and Rob are fantastic! They are fun and know how to read the crowd. We had a semi- Halloween themed wedding and Rob showed up in costume! Amazing! He fit right in and it made our guests a little more at ease also. The followed all of my requests and kept people on the dance floor. When plans would change, my husband or I only had to make mention to them and they would match our needs. We played a game too, and it was a huge hit! We loved watching our guests run around like little kids! We wanted the atmosphere to be fun and energetic, and they knew how to deliver! I am also a music nerd, and requested some different music for the ceremony and some of the reception and they found it. The matched the soundtrack to my dream wedding, many many thanks!!

Rob and Lisa were wonderful! My husband and I initially met with them and I booked them on the spot. We initially corresponded by email and she had sent me a rough timeline of events and how they would play out which was awesome! I only had the reception for 2.5 hours and everything needed to go smoothly and on schedule and when I saw the initial timeline it helped calm me to see how everything would work. They were both genuinely nice people. Lisa checked in with me about 2 months before the wedding to make sure I didn't need anything and then about 3 weeks before the wedding we met with them again to go over the timeline and schedule of events and the changes that I had made. The wedding day was perfect. They showed up on time and were ready and waiting for my guests. They kept me on schedule and I was able to get all the important events done and in a timely fashion. My only regret was that I didn't have the venue for longer because by the time it was done, everyone was having such a great time including my husband and I that I hated to see it end. Thank you so much for calming me and making sure that I didn't have a thing to worry about on my wedding day. You kept the music flowing the fun happening and me on schedule! I will recommend you to anyone, you guys were the best!!

Our wedding reception was fantastic! My family loves to dance and we just had a great time with Lisa and Rob. They knew what we liked and they kept us out on the floor all night. We didn't even mind when the smoke alarms went off, you can't stop us from having a good time. Thank you Lisa and Rob for everything you did for JD and I. God Bless!

Lisa & Rob, our DJs and owners of Heartsong Productions were absolute excellent! Seriously, everything was excellent, totally perfect!

They made the event awesome and did an excellent job announcing the wedding party and were super organized! They were very professional and so easy to work with! Every time I needed something, I'd call or email and I received a quick response. This company is definitely one I would highly recommend to any bride who is looking for an DJ with true professionalism and superior customer services. Rob and Lisa were fun and made everyone happy to be there.

The music selection and flow was fantastic, as promised. They were totally in tune with the crowd and what was going on and the music was spot on. Lots of people were dancing that don't normally dance and Michael danced with his mom and he has NEVER done that before, so it was even more special!

The lighting was worth every cent too. When I saw how beautiful the room looked, I understood what Lisa was talking about with the uplighting - there was no boring white on white on white that night, only fabulous color that added to the elegance of the room and made the decorations and centerpieces we used simply sparkle.

On one of the biggest days of our life, the quality of their service, and attention to details made all the the difference. Thank you is an understatement. They did so much for us and made the evening something we will continue to look back on and enjoy for many years! I couldn't have been happier and satisfied with our choice of DJ/MCs.

Let me say, Heartsong is the best DJ company I have ever encountered, and I will definitely use them again for any big future events!

After meeting with Rob and List the first time, I felt so much better about how our wedding was going to go.

They took care of everything for my ceremony and reception. Even with the rain and sudden change in ceremony locations, things were flawless. With them in charge of the music and coordinating all the details, we could really sit back and enjoy our big day.

This box isn't big enough for all the wonderful things I have to say about Heartsong Productions!

Rob and Lisa went above and beyond anything we asked/expected of them. Their service the day of the wedding blew us away and we credit this team with keeping our reception flowing and making sure each guest had a great time. Heartsong's experience definitely proved invaluable as the event went off without a hitch!

Rob and Lisa were the first people I saw at the reception venue and they both got busy right away making the reception a seamless success! Once we'd had time to relax for a second, Rob got the bridal party in order to be introduced and Lisa made sure my husband and I had everything we needed throughout the night.

Not only did they play the perfect music to keep the party going, but they also served as Master of Ceremonies. Lisa even had the bouquet ready to hand to me for the bouquet toss! Everything went incredibly smoothly thanks to them...I didn't have to worry about a thing!

We made quite a few special requests - songs, speakers, lighting etc- all just a few days before the wedding and they were able to help us and accommodate us. The music was just what I wanted and Lisa even called me the week of the wedding to go over the music selections I'd submitted to them.

It's so easy for wedding vendors to just take orders and do what is minimally acceptable, but Rob and Lisa exceeded every hope I had for a DJ and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a DJ for their wedding. They were AMAZING and I'm so thankful for Heartsong Productions for making my reception such a memorable and fun occasion.

Amazing Dj Services!!

Heartsong Productions did an amazing job on my wedding! Lisa and Rob did the music for the ceremony and also the reception. I live in Macon Georgia, but I'm from Colleyville, Tx so I did everything over the phone and internet. From the moment I spoke to Lisa I knew that this was the right choice. They were not pushy with their own ideas. They let us pick the music and just added the toppings which made everything Perfect in my eyes! I would use them over and over if I had to, but I plan on having a long happy marriage!!! Maybe for the renewal of vows in a couple of years! If you are looking for a Dj in the DFW area I 110% recommend them! They made the wedding fun, stress free, and all around amazing job!

Choosing Lisa at Heartsong was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She did so much more than just play music. Before the day of our wedding, she got in touch with some of our other vendors to make sure everything was going to go as planned. She made sure that everyone was having a good time during our wedding and even managed to get our usually very tame crowd to dance. She was not pushy like many DJs - she did not try and force anyone onto the dance floor, and I appreciated that a lot.

Lisa and her son were extremely helpful on our wedding day. They helped keep the mood up when appropriate and helped us stick to a schedule so everyone could enjoy the night. The price is way worth it!

Wonderful DJ that helped eliminate a lot of headaches the day of the wedding! Everything from the bridal party entry, bride entry to the last dance was organized ahead of time so no thinking involved by the bride was needed the day of. Everything flowed so wonderfully and Lisa was excellent to work with and had a wide variety of music. Couldn't have asked for a better DJ and the custom monogram added a beautiful and special touch. Great job Lisa and Heartsong Entertainment Crew!

Rob and Lisa were great! I wasn't sure what kind of music we wanted for our reception, but they had all of our friends up and dancing for most of the evening. Definitely recommend!

Great help with selecting music. They conducted a great party with music and an MC that helped keep the party flowing. They also were very helpful and gave good advice about other vendors.

Lisa was very friendly and responsive when it came to planning our wedding. During our wedding, though, is we were disappointed that she didn't play most of the songs we requested. She had us take the time to fill out online songs that we must have played, would like played if time, and songs to not be played at all. There was a max of 25 entries for each category. We only inputted 9 songs to the must have played and during the evening only 2 of them were played. One of which was only played because my sibling went up to her on two different occasions and asked for it to be played for me. Very disappointing that we took the time to complete the online manager and then our wishes weren't respected.

This is a hard one to review because I honestly liked the two DJ's as individuals. Loved them, in fact. But months ahead of time, I picked out songs to be played at the wedding (that is part of the service you get... a huge list of songs to choose from for your playlist). I had meetings with them where they asked me what the 'ideal look' was for me and I said that I wanted everyone to have fun and be playing fun music (it was pretty important to me).

The day of the wedding, I found out that while our guests were at the reception and we were taking pictures there was 'lame' music being played and I had to ask 3 times for them to change the music to something that people could dance to (it was mainly songs that 50+ were dancing to with little children).

But before I asked them to change it (... where I said " could you play something more fun to get people on the the dancefloor... they are leaving the wedding"), I was asked by my guests when the dancing would start. I was busy doing the bride and groom usuals so I didn't even notice the songs that were being played. If I had, I would have changed it so fast!

Needless to say, I don't really think most of my songs I put on the playlist were played and maybe 45 min. of dancing for the x an y generation happened.

That is probably the only change I would have made to my wedding. I don't think I would have changed my DJ's. Because again, I really think they cared and I really do like them. I just wonder if they had someone else's playlist or weren't thinking or didn't realize how important it was to play fun music or something... I have no idea.
