Pastor David is the Perfect Officiant!

Pastor David was truly the best officiant we could have hoped for! From the first phone call, we knew he was the right fit. His meaningful message and ideas for personal details and touches to the ceremony were fantastic. Pastor David was prompt, communicative, and informative throughout the whole process. Even in our brief time with him, it was so clear that he genuinely cares for each couple he works with and brings authenticity and joy to his service. Even our wedding guests pointed out what a phenomenal job Pastor David did with our service, and we cannot recommend him highly enough!

Pastor David is the best!

My husband and I needed a pastor last minute to officiate our wedding. I called Pastor David and from our first call he was wonderful. We met him in person prior to the wedding and he went over everything in detail, was extremely well prepared and experienced and was so kind throughout the process. He had beautiful poems and passages we could choose from and allowed us to customize the ceremony how we pleased. On our wedding day he showed up on time, dressed great and proceeded to officiate a perfect ceremony. We were so happy and highly recommend him!

Amazing Officiant! Fast Communication!

We are so pleased with how amazing Pastor David was! He took the time to meet with us prior to the wedding to get to know us so he could be the best officiant for us. My husband and I aren't super religious and Pastor David was so kind and understanding. He gave us great advice and we never felt judged. We were so relaxed on our wedding day knowing Pastor David had everything covered. I highly recommend him!

The most perfect experience!!

We are beyond pleased and thankful that Pastor David Gilleland was our officiant. He was very flexible and considerate with my schedule for our first meet. From start to finish, he alway responds quickly to email and gladly answered all my questions and phone calls. On the day of the wedding, he took the initiative to see both bride and groom individually which tremendously helped with the nerves. During the ceremony, he took his time and made it sentimental. Even his voice made the ceremony sound beautiful. He was open to all our request and had amazing teamwork with our pianist. Lastly, somehow our marriage certificate was lost when leaving the venue, Pastor David was more than generous to go out of his way and meet with us again to resign the marriage certificate. He is truly an amazing and kind hearted person and I would highly recommend him to everyone I know.

I would recommend Pastor David!!

Pastor David is a very professional and experienced officiant. My husband and I did not know what to expect with preparing for our wedding but he made it so easy for us! He helped us make the big decisions like decision to write our own vows and walked us through all our options. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant!

Perfect Choice!

From the moment we first Pastor David we knew he was the right choice to officiate our wedding. He took time to get to know us and make our ceremony personal. Not only did he get to know us, he he also shared some of his experiences and history. Several guests commented on how much they enjoyed the content of the ceremony. He provided a basic layout and options to make it more personal to us. We opted for the letter box, which really stood out to us and our guests. We would not hesitate to recommend Pastor David to anyone looking for an officiant for their wedding.

Amazing Job!

Pastor David was amazing and we would highly recommend him. We got coffee a few months before and he really took time to get to know us and understand what we wanted for our wedding. He was caring, genuine and really made it a special day for us. He did a fantastic job during the ceremony and delivered just what we were looking for. Pastor David is by far one of the best I’ve seen and you would have a great experience having him help you on your special day!

The Perfect Officiant for our Perfect Day!

Pastor David was an absolutely wonderful officiant at our November 14th Wedding! He was recommended to me by the owner of our venue, and after reading his reviews, I knew I had to meet him! My husband and I met with him before confirming him for our day, and we fell in love with him right then. He's such a warm, kind, and sweet man! He made our wedding day so special. After booking, he made sure to stay in contact with us and answer any and all questions we had! He listened to us about what we wanted in our wedding ceremony, and truly delivered! He arrived at the venue early to speak with us before the wedding, and officiated a beautiful ceremony for us! Having him officiate our wedding was very special, and truly something I'll always be thankful for. Thank you so much, Pastor David!

Perfect ceremony

Pastor David made our wedding so special! We had so many plans change during the pandemic that resulted in a change of venue (to a different state) and he was available and understanding of our circumstances. We are an interfaith (Christian & Hindu) couple that wanted to have one ceremony to honor each of our faiths. During our meeting, Pastor David talked us through the entire ceremony, worked with us to include details that were meaningful to us, and imparted so much guidance and wisdom that we will carry with us into our marriage. All of this resulted in the most beautiful, personal, and perfect ceremony. He was also punctual on the day-of and communicated with us very clearly throughout the whole process.

Pastor David Gilleland is a Blessing and a Joy

Pastor David Gilleland is a blessing in our lives and was such a joy to work with for our wedding. We were visiting from out of town, planning our destination wedding, and lucky enough to meet him (and his lovely wife) in their life-long home—filled with wonderful memories and love.

Pastor David is generous and kind, thoughtful and deliberate, a good listener, and had the best advice for both of us. He helped us craft the perfect ceremony which included a letter box and a hand-fasting ceremony. He had the perfect words to say for each moment.

Thank you Pastor David for being a part of our big day, we couldn’t have done it without you!

If you’re reading this review, you’re probably getting married, congratulations! This was the least stressful decision that we had to make throughout the entire planning process. We met Pastor David at a bridal expo that Magic Moments was hosting. After chatting with him at the bridal expo, we agreed to meet up. He was the last person we saw on the way out of the expo, as we didn’t think about the importance of an officiant at the time, so I guess it was a save the best for last kind of situation. When we met, he sat us down and got to know us and he let us choose if we wanted to hire him or not. After speaking with him, we felt he really saw us as a couple, as real people, not a business transaction. We could totally be ourselves and trust him with executing our ceremony with precision and professionalism, that’s so important when hiring an officiant. He gave us suggestions that we didn’t even think to explore for our ceremony, such as a letter box and hand fasting, including honoring our loved ones that passed on. Everything that we wanted to do, he was so supportive and helpful. He is the best. Thank you so much Pastor David! We are so blessed to have met you, you helped make our wedding day that much more special.

Heartfelt Ceremony

Pastor David made our ceremony more special than we could have ever imagined. He is prompt and courteous in all questions, conversations, and requests. He has such a caring disposition, a kind and gentle heart, and truly cares about the couples he works with. We had so many guests tell us how meaningful and beautiful our ceremony was. Loved him, did a perfect job

A Beautiful Ceremony thanks to Pastor David

I was very impressed with Pastor David when we met with him a few months before the wedding. Having a destination wedding, I was afraid it would be hard to coordinate all the details, but Pastor David worked with us from the beginning to create the perfect wedding ceremony that fit our personality as a couple. Pastor David was excellent

Pastor David was great to work with. He met us before and allowed us to choose exactly how we wanted the ceremony to go. He then gave us a document with the exact order of events, which tremendously helped with making the program. Lastly, my favorite part is that he asked for our relationship history which allowed him to make our ceremony unique to us. I highly recommend him!

A kind, thoughtful officiant

Pastor Gilleland is a fantastic officiant, and my husband and I knew from the second we met him that we found our officiant. He tailored the wedding ceremony to us and brought unique materials to our first meeting.
He is a kind man. We wanted our ceremony to have some Christian elements without going overboard, and Pastor Gilleland struck this balance well. He spoke with us individually a few minutes alone before the ceremony, and we really needed this time, especially because we were both so nervous. He did inform us before the day that he had an engagement right after ours to attend, but at no point did we feel our ceremony was rushed. Pastor Gilleland, my husband and I want to thank you for being the first person to introduce us as a married couple.

Easy to Work With

Pastor David was so easy to work with and had so many great suggestions for our ceremony. We were able to choose the type of ceremony we wanted and the specific wording. And, Pastor David is so earnest in every conversation; it is obvious that he takes every ceremony very seriously and understands the type of commitment that is being made.

I couldn't imagine the big day without him

We heard about Pastor David from raving reviews and met with him shortly after. He officiated our wedding Jan 2019. We met with him before the wedding and he helped tailor the ceremony to our preferences and gave us a detailed document after. Which helped me with the program (lifesaver!). I couldn't imagine the big day without him.

Our cememony was absolutely perfect!

Pastor David was so easy to work with! We had such a beautiful ceremony and many of our guests commented on how lovely it was! We made some last minute changes on the day of the wedding and pastor David was able to accommodate our wishes without hesitation. We would definitely recommend him!

Love love love Pastor David!

He was so thoughtful and arrived at my wedding early to make sure i was comfortable knowing he was there. He also met with us before hand and customized the ceremony according to our preferences. All in all, one of the best choices we made for the day.

David Gilleland with Heart to Heart Ministries performed our marriage ceremony in July at Lake Lanier and it was amazing! Prior to the ceremony, he met with us to get to know us and what was important to us. We found him to be a peaceful man with great integrity. He is very caring and professional. He was passionate about making our day special and blessed. The readings he picked out were perfect! We had confidence and comfort and our expectations were exceeded when he performed our ceremony. We highly recommend him!!

Pastor David conducted the most beautiful and moving ceremony for our daughter's wedding at the Roswell River Landing. I have sat in churches for years (and bible studies as well) and have not heard a more beautiful explanation and lesson on marriage than what was relayed at this service. It was moving, timeless, and so true. One guest came to me afterward and wanted a copy for reference in finding a future husband! We did not want religion - but the truth of what the heavenly father offers when a man and woman are united in covenant - and that is what we got. So very pleased!

Pastor David was great! He has a very kind approachable vibe. We were rushing every step of the wedding process due to our busy schedules, but regardless of how late we contacted Pastor David, he was ready for the wedding ceremony! We didn’t even have to do a rehearsal with him and everything went smoothly. We’re glad we have met Pastor David and had him as our officiant! Thank you so much Pastor David for sticking with us through the summer heat at our outside wedding!

I had to plan a wedding for my son who is serving in the US Army overseas and his new wife from Finland. Knowing that the Officiant is the most important element in the wedding, I scrutinized many reviews. I came upon Pastor Dave and could not be more pleased with my decision! Upon meeting him, I felt as though I have know him forever! The ceremony was beautiful, heartfelt, and left most of our guests in tears. My son and his new wife loved him!

Pastor Dave was the best choice I made for our wedding day. He was just amazing to work with . he is available, approachable, and so easy to talk to. He makes you feel so special. The ceremony was absolutely perfect. HIs words are genuine, memorable, and meaningful. I will always remember his words throughout our marriage and the commitment we made together. My guests were so impressed by his delivery, presence, and meaningful parts to the ceremony. I am of a different faith, but he made me feel comfortable and adhered to a beautiful Christian ceremony. I could not be more grateful to have had him for my most special memory.

Pastor David did a great job officiating our ceremony. We planned our wedding in 3 months and hired an officiant at the last minute. We decided to hire Pastor David after our initial meeting, he was very detailed in explaining everything to us. He made it very easy and his confidence and easy nature was just what we needed during our wedding planning. He was prompt to our calls, text, and email, as well being very professional at all time. After meeting with Pastor David we knew he was the officiant for us and we didn't need to look any further. David was very easy to work with. When we first met him, he made us feel at ease and comfortable. Up to the day of our wedding, he was responsive and flexible with some changes we made. Coming from two different faiths, it was important to us that a little of our family traditions were honored on both sides. He is reliable and very professional. We are glad we had him officiate our special day.

Pastor David was so wonderful for my daughters wedding. She and her fiancé are so shy, yet that was no worries for Pastor David. In fact he provided a wonderful ceremony outline that would fit their desires. Their ceremony was beautiful and meaningful to them, our family and friends. David was highly recommended to us by our wedding venue. As soon as we meet him, we knew why he is highly sought after. He is so sweet and friendly and took the time to get to know us as a couple. He is very easy to talk to and someone you instantly feel comfortable around. We appreciated that he took the time to ask us exactly what we were looking for in regards to our ceremony and if we wanted there to be a spiritual/Christian element to it. Pastor David was the perfect addition to our wedding! We met with him months prior to the wedding and he got to know us a little bit which made it more comfortable at the wedding. At that time, we went over the ceremony and with it being outside we were happy about the layout of the service and the time-frame (just under 20 min). He was quick to respond to any questions we had and is such a nice man! He spoke with each of us prior to the ceremony and afterwards together. We give him our highest recommendations for anyone looking for a wedding officiant!

Don't think twice about booking Pastor David for your wedding ceremony! No need for more research. I have done it for you. Go ahead and do it! You will not be sorry. Our daughter got married on 4/15 and we could not have been more pleased! When initially contacted, he responded immediately - very important to me! When we met with him for the first time, my daughter and her fiancé knew he was the one. My husband and I felt the same way. He immediately made us feel comfortable and easy to get to know. We had a few changes along the way. He was very accommodating throughout the entire planning process, often contacting my daughter and her fiancé to discuss details to ensure their day was perfect. He got to know them personally and told stories about how they met and even threw in a little humor along the way. Our guests loved him! He was an absolute pleasure to work with in every aspect. We feel fortunate that Pastor David played such an integral role in our daughter's wedding and he will always be a part of our fond memories. I can't say enough positive things about him.

Pastor David is by far wonderful! My husband and I did not have an officiant for our wedding after our original plans fell through so we called around and Pastor David responded immediately to our need. He met with us prior to our wedding to get to know us and he performed the ceremony to our needs. Everything was perfect and he really helped tie everything together and save our day! Absolutely amazing and I would recommend him to anyone getting married in the Atlanta, GA area!

Where do I begin.... My husband and I got married on December 10, 2016. Pastor David was extremely responsive (before and after) and actually took the time to meet with us and get to know us, which also allowed for us to get to know him. We are extremely blessed to have Pastor David conduct our wedding ceremony. I would absolutely suggest him to any couple as he was very kind and made sure he understood our "special points" we wanted in our ceremony. I highly recommend David to be your minister! My husband is in the military and wasn't in Georgia during most of the wedding process. David and I met about a month before the wedding to discuss details for the ceremony. I was nervous because my husband and I have different religious views and wanted something that would fit both of us. David coached us on what we could include in the ceremony and what we could change and I felt so much better! He was so helpful and we really enjoyed getting to know him and are so glad he was the one to marry us. It was a beautiful ceremony and he made it all possible!

My now husband and I had no idea who we wanted to marry us. We were lost in that department at first. I met David Gilleland with Heart to Heart Ministries at a bridal show where he was a "preferred vendor". We decided to move forward with booking him as our Officiant and are very glad we did! He was extremely warm and friendly. He met with us months prior to get to know us personally. He wrote down important details about the wedding day and details about us. He then went over each part of what he would talk about during the ceremony. We had no idea what we wanted at first but he gave suggestions that truly worked for us. I am so happy that we chose Pastor David as our officiant! When my husband and I first met him, we automatically felt like we were a part of his family. He gets to know you as a couple, in order to personalize a ceremony just for you. We were so blessed to have Pastor David as our wedding officiant on May 15, 2016. He is patient, responsive, and was so helpful in crafting a ceremony that fit us as a couple.

We learned of Pastor David through our wedding venue Flint Hill and met him during one of the venue’s showcase events. After speaking with him and reading through reviews, we decided to meet with him in person to discuss the details of our wedding. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and brought suggestions that enabled us to get a good idea of how our ceremony would go. We were also pleased to know that he had previously conducted a traditional Filipino ceremony for another couple (as we were considering that element as a part of our wedding as well).

Pastor David was such a blessing for our wedding. I first found him through his rave reviews on Wedding Wire, and then it turned out he was also appearing on all of the recommended vendor lists at venues I looked at. Pastor David kindly met with my husband and I a few times in person before our wedding so we could get to know each other and talk about the wedding ceremony. My fiancé and I got married on May 1st, 2016 and found Pastor David on a preferred vendor list at the Primrose Cottage in Roswell. We are delighted that he married us that day and will never forget our service. Warm, heartfelt, sincere and engaging are just a few adjectives that come to mind as I write this. He has a way about him that truly seems to be able to convey to the couple and the guests that you really are being married in the eyes of God even though we were not in the Church. There are different choices that you can select from as to how you want your ceremony performed and you can work your own words into your ceremony too. I really can't say enough nice things about David. The ceremony he performed for us was beautiful. David is very professional and he speaks so eloquently. He placed emphasis on all of the points that mattered most to us as a couple. My fiancé at the time found David on the knot. David was very flexible and met with us to go through different options for exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. The day we met Pastor Dave, we knew he was the officiant for us and we didn't need to look any further. He eased any concerns that we had regarding our ceremony and would offer personal, yet professional advice when we asked him. He thoroughly walked us through how the ceremony would happen and gave us some options to help personalize the event. We chose a hand holding ceremony and asked that our late grandparents be recognized at the beginning of the ceremony.

My husband and I also agreed to have an unplugged ceremony and Pastor Dave was more than happy to make an announcement as guests arrived. We are both Catholic and we were satisfied that Pastor Dave was able to wear a collar to help ease some of our guests.

We received so many compliments about Pastor Dave's polite, yet friendly demeanor. We are very happy that Pastor Dave was there to help us start our new life together.

We loved having Pastor David as our officiant! From the first time I talked to him on the phone, I knew he would be the perfect fit for us. We talked on the phone initially and discussed our plans for the wedding. My husband and I lived out of town, and he was extremely flexible in our schedule in setting up a meeting to discuss our ceremony. When we did meet up, he showed us many different options for the wedding ceremony, and we created the perfect one! My favorite part of the ceremony was something I had never seen before - the hand fasting ceremony. We had many people compliment our ceremony and especially the hand fasting part of it. Pastor David was great to work with. We had very specific requests for our ceremony and Pastor David was accommodating. He gave great advice the first time we met him. He was responsive to emails and reviewed our personal vows to make comments. He was personable, warm and sincere. Our ceremony was very seamless and we are grateful that we could have Pastor David officiate. Thank you Pastor David for making our day the most memorable of our lives!

We got married on May 16, 2015 and worked with Heart to Heart Ministries. Pastor David was an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. From our first meeting, we had a great feeling about him. He is a very warm and caring individual. We really liked that he wanted to get to know us as much as we did him, because it is important for both parties to believe they have the right fit.
He was professional and supportive and quick to respond to questions. In addition, he able to adapt quickly to changes in the ceremony the week of the wedding without missing a step.
He showed up on time, met with both of us briefly, and performed a beautiful ceremony.
You will not be sorry if you choose Pastor David for your wedding ceremony.

On the day of our wedding Pastor David made sure to check in with us and went over all the special requests we had for the ceremony. There were a few small things that were very important to us, and he made sure to confirm those things prior to the wedding as well as on the day of. The ceremony went over without a hitch. Also, he was very prompt with the marriage certificates just as he promised. They arrived in the mail within 3 weeks of our wedding. I have another friend who had to literally track down her officiant to get the marriage certificates. It took her months. This really made me appreciate how on top of it Pastor David was with ours. Overall we are very pleased with our choice to go with Pastor David for our wedding ceremony.

Pastor David was great to work with. He had a set of what he did at other weddings and let you choose what you wanted for your special day. We even requested that he say something about our "love time capsule" and he wrote something I could never come up with. Very professional and flexible.

Pastor David was so great to work with. My husband and I waited last minute to find an officiant, and decided to look on wedding wire and the knot for reviews of different pastors. That's when I found Pastor David. All of his reviews were wonderful, so I gave him a call. At our first meeting, me and my husband fell in love! We felt like we knew him, and felt so comfortable with him performing the ceremony. He asked us exactly what we wanted in our ceremony, and brought it to life! All of his good reviews are true. He made our ceremony wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant to marry us. I absolutely loved working with him!

Pastor David Gilleland was such a pleasure to work with. He has great customer service. He does exactly what he says he would do. He made the whole ceremony an ease. We had the filipino tradition added to our wedding and Pastor David just did an amazing job. I wanted the ceremony to be meaningful but short and sweet. He did everything that I asked for. Pastor David came by recommendation from another pastor that we spoke with, and he was a great choice for our day. We met about 3 weeks before our wedding to discuss ceremony details and were able to read through and make choices (we wrote our own vows) in what exactly our ceremony would look like. The day of, he made sure to check in with both of us, and make sure everything was good. It felt as if we had been old friends not like a stranger showing up to marry us. It was a beautiful ceremony, and the perfect length (20-30 minutes). You can't go wrong with Pastor David

Our day couldn't have been more beautiful, and Pastor David genuinely made sure that we were comfortable, before and after our ceremony. He even came to my bridal suite, before the ceremony to make sure that I was okay, just like my dad (who passed away), would have done. My new husband and I appreciated Pastor David's presence on our wedding day, and highly recommend him!

Me and my husband truly enjoyed getting to know Pastor David. He took the time to get a sense of who we are, and where we were in our walk with Christ. We felt very comfortable having him officiate our wedding and he did an excellent job!

Pastor David took the time to meet with me and my groom. He genuinely wanted to get to know us prior to our wedding. I felt so comfortable with him. He was extremely organized and he officiated the ceremony smoothly. I recommend him without reservation.

We can't thank Pastor David enough for the wonderful ceremony, everyone who came up to us said it was just beautiful. From the first meeting with him he put us at ease with his professionalism and general demeanor (he even showed up in a tuxedo!).

We come from two different faiths so we had some requests for readings etc which Pastor David incorporated with no problems. He came to talk to both of us separately while we were waiting before the ceremony which was greatly appreciated.

Overall we are so happy we chose Pastor David to conduct our ceremony and would heartily recommend him to other couples looking to make their special day a little bit more special!

Pastor David Gilleland with Heart to Heart memories was wonderful. I found him on a website that had great reviews and sure enough all the things written about him were true. When we first met he was very organized and efficient. We went over different things for the ceremony and even picked readings together. Because he was so organized I didn't even need him at the rehearsal prior to the wedding. He showed up about an hour before the ceremony and went over everything again with me just to be sure and was fine. Everyone loved the service he gave and me and my husband couldn't have been happier that we picked him.

Pastor David was a great choice for an officiant for our wedding ceremony. we both got a good feeling after meeting him and he stayed in touch throughout the process and let us make some changes to his standard ceremony. We both wanted a more spiritual ceremony than an overtly religious and he was able to somewhat accommodate us. Overall I would highly recommend Pastor David for your wedding ceremony needs.

Pastor Dave was the best officiant we could have met! He was very professional and even suggested we meet with him before the ceremony (ours was a small party). Although I initially thought it was unnecessary the meeting was very fruitful and gave my husband and I confidence that we was a great pastor to lead us into our marriage and our future lives as a family. He is very organized, he has great suggestions and made the whole process a breeze. Not only is he a well-qualified officiant he has great advice and wisdom on marriage and children. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a beautiful ceremony.

Pastor David officiated our May wedding and we were extremely pleased with the service he provided. He was very kind and professional, and always very prompt in responding to our emails. We made a few last minute changes to our ceremony the day of the wedding, but Pastor David handled everything professionally and exactly as we wanted. We could not have asked for a better officiant, Pastor David was the easiest vendor to work with and we would recommend him to anyone.

Pastor David met with us about six months prior to the big day to go over the details and get to know us a little bit before guiding us through putting together the ceremony of our dreams. He was very warm and easy to work with, and went out of his way to fit into our busy schedules, which I really appreciate. He helped us combine just the right scriptures and readings to create a modern ceremony that emphasized the long-term commitments of marriage. He was open and flexible to any of our ideas, but we ended up taking most of his advice and couldn't have been happier. He truly brings years of experience to the table, and the result is a wonderful experience that my husband and I will remember for many years to come.

So helpful throughout everything!

Pastor David is AWESOME. He is very responsive and INFORMATIVE. He made sure to inform us of everything we would need leading up to our wedding and what to expect after. Once our big day came, he made sure to speak to myself and the groom separately and gave us words of encouragement as well. He is an awesome and sweet guy! This did not feel like a business transaction AT ALL! He is so personable and makes every encounter feel easy and welcoming. We highly recommend him!
