Brock Wedding Dress found

My daughter and I had only a short time in our schedule to look for a dress. While out looking, I called the store and said they said they could do it in a half hour time if we could get there. The staff staff immediatey helped us to make a selection to try. We were excited because we found the perfect dress to fit and what my daughter had wanted. She called me over to see it and was so excited about it. She stated it was what she had visualize and wanted. They were very friendly and helpful in finding the perfect dress for my dauhgter and saying yes to the dress. Thank you for making her wedding perfect and felling beautiful . Amazing Service and Selection!

Heart to Heart was amazing! They worked so hard to find me my perfect dress, and they went above and beyond to make sure I understood how it would fit me after alterations and helping me to get pictures. They are so nice and approachable, and I loved a lot of their dresses. I 100% recommend it!

Great people and selection

Heart to heart was amazing! My dress and veil came in after two weeks! The selection and the people there are unmatched to anywhere else in the area.

Such an excellent group of people to work with!

At first I was having trouble finding the perfect one. Went to 3 different places in the area and nothing. I'm plus size and nothing was fitting or just wasn't my style. Was really losing hope until I stepped foot in to this 100+ year old church with stained glass windows. It was a feeling and that feeling made me feel so special. They carried all the way up to a size 26, which my family (all 10 people they accommodated for unlike other places we went) and I were just blown away how many dresses I could try on. That day was really all about me. Thank you so much Heart to Heart for such a fun and stress free day! We can't wait to be back for bridesmaids.

My wedding was out of state in Iowa, I'm from Mich. When we couldn't find my veil I ran to Heart to Heart Bridal and they sold me one on a Sunday, my wedding was Monday. The service was great! I had been to this bridal salon before it changed owners also. The service was professional and the girls really knew their stuff. They have beautiful

Heart to Heart was wonderful! The two girls I worked with were very professional! each bride gets their own helper to explain how they work and you get rings to put around the hooks of the dresses you want to try on. They take them to your room and help you get dressed if you want it, they will also allow you to have someone else help you if you would feel more comfortable that way. I would highly recommend them to anyone!! Loved them!

The ladies at Heart to Heart were wonderful to work with. Not only did we find our dresses, but they helped me to pick a color with their experience and eye for style. And when the shoes I ordered somewhere else where defective, they ordered the same shoe for me and honored the price I got on line. This was above and beyond and I appreciated that.

Heart to Heart Bridal and Formal provided me with excellent service and conducted themselves in a very professional and caring manor while I was searching for my bridal gown. I would recommend them to anyone!

Heart to Heart Bridal is wonderful. I came in the first time and didn't know what I wanted and left empty handed came back and again and found the perfect dress. The work with you and listen to what you want and help you find the perfect dress. I found out my dress was discontinued when they went to order it but heart to heart worked with so I was able to have the dress of my dreams.

I was very pleased with the service provided. Very professional and quick to respond. Good selection and if you decide to go through them for the tux's, shoe's, tiara, etc then you get 50% off your dress plus 30% off the additional items you buy through them. So they will certainly work with you. I called them 2weeks before my wedding and wanted to order my bridesmaids shoes. They were here 2 days before the wedding. It was great!

The approv ximate figure below is not accurate because we did get everything through them. The number below is what I spent alone.

Heart to Heart was wonderful to work with. I made an appointment, and when I walked in, I had my own personal helper. They only take a certain number of appointments in a day, and have extra staff on hand to help walk-ins, so your person isn't being pulled away. They were very attentive, helping me into the dresses, hanging them back up, suggesting accessories, etc. I thought the alterations were a little pricey, but she did a great job!

I got my wedding dress from here BEFORE it changed owners, so it may be different now. The staff was friendly but not very knowledgeable. They let me choose which gowns to try on, which was nice, but didn't offer any opinions on other dresses to try that I may have liked. The store is worn down and needs cleaning. However, the selection and quantity of dresses was good. I ended up buying my dress off-the-rack and they offered me a discount. Their seamstress was not good, and kind of crabby, so I went to someone else they recommended. Overall, I loved my dress though and received many compliments on it!

It was great to work with the staff at Heart to Heart Bridal! I enjoyed working with them, and found my dream dress pretty easy while working with them. I would totally recommend the shop to other brides!

I selected my bridal grown online, but went in to purchase it from this store. The girl was very helpful and knowledgeable. I also ended up saving money because I paid in full, so that was a plus!!

Heart to Heart overall was a decent experience. The only drawback I had was receiving the bridesmaids dresses. It took a very long time and heart to heart had no real reason why. They just kept saying they were on their way. As far as the tuxes that went very well. They were very accomodating. As the best man was coming back from Afghanistan the monday before the wedding and they were able to measure and order him a tux in time. Also the experience with my wedding dress was great.

I loved my dress and always had a very possitive experience with the staff (especially the manager). However I always went during slower times (not Staurday afternoons) when possible to avoid the crowd. Very friendly staff and the over estimated how long the dresses would come so they were in early as well as my shoes. I loved that they errored on the side of caution. Prices were extremely reasonable. Overall a great experience.

I purchased my wedding gown and my bridesmaids dresses from Heart to Heart. They had a great selection of gowns and dresses and I was easily able to find items that I loved. I adore my wedding gown and am so glad that I found it!

While the staff is very nice and willing to help if you have questions, I did find that they do not always provide especially personal service. I had called ahead for appointments each time I visited the store but all that seemed to do was reserve a dressing room, not any dedicated help. For example, my mom was stuck running around helping me try on dresses rather than one of the women working. It could just be that my expectations were too high (or simply based on the consultants from 'Say Yes to the Dress' on TV!), but in my visits to other bridal salons in the area it does seem that the employees at Heart to Heart are comparatively less involved in the process. I understand some people may be looking for just that, and if so this may be the perfect place.

I will stress that I did not have a bad experience with this vendor at all, just that it was different than I had expected. I am so happy to have found such beautiful dresses there!

Went shopping here after I had purchased a dress at another shop and been unhappy with it. The gals were great, they allowed me to choose whatever I wanted and also provided some suggestions. They were patient with me. I didn't feel rushed to make a decision or pressured to buy. I ended up buying the dress I wore for my wedding at this shop and I was really happy with it. I also bought my slip from them. They actually had a really awesome selection compared to other shops I went to (outside of Iowa).

I found the perfect wedding gown at Heart to Heart Bridal! I was disappointed that it took a lot longer than I was told for my dress to come in, but atleast I still had time for alterations. After my dress came in I made an appointment in North Liberty to try on my dress and find accessories (veil, shoes) but no one helped me at all. Good thing I had my mom there to help me.

This place was very unprofessional. One of the workers was yelling at her dad, the owner, when we were in the store. They were not helpful when it came to a veil or headpiece. There are always under staffed and don't know what'g going on. It also takes 2 months for them to do alterations!! If I were to do it over again I would not go there, but I loved my dress.

Horrible Horrible Horrible... They said I would get my dress in a nice timeframe... NO THEY DIDN'T!! The gal sent my dress home in a trashbag (brand: Glad) so yes I know it was a trashbag not a cheap dress bag. I even made the gal aware of my dissatisfaction and she didn't care. Would never suggest anyone go there unless you are dumb. Horrible service all the way around!

This place almost ruined my wedding

I'm writing this awful review of this business so that anyone even thinking of getting anything here whether it be bride or bridesmaid related knows exactly what they're getting into; that being you may not get what you order in time for your big day. I got three of my bridesmaid dresses from here, and the only positive thing I have to say is that they had a decent selection of bridesmaid dresses. All three of them were ordered between March and April, which in any world is more than enough time since my wedding wasn't until October 6, or so one would think. Two of the dresses came earlier than expected, in June which was great, while it lasted. The third and final dress was suppose to come by mid August. It's August 25 and I still hadn't heard anything about when this final dress was coming. So I call the shop and the brainless manager or whatever she is tells me it should be in transit to the store, but she couldn't tell me where it was or how long it should be, maybe within a few weeks she says. So I'm fuming at this point but trying to stay positive, even though my weddings about a month away and one of my bridesmaids doesn't have a dress which is going to have to be altered mind you once it finally does come in. A week exactly goes by and I call once again to see where this dress is since I still haven't heard anything, and the same clueless manager tells me she still doesn't know where it is, and also doesn't offer any kind of assistance. I was feeling the stress immensely of getting this dress in in time for the wedding, forget about it getting altered at this point, I just needed my bridesmaid to have something to wear! We were actually about to just buy some random dress online for her to wear because I wasn't not gonna have her in my wedding because of this ridiculous shop that obviously forgot to order this dress. Fast forward yet another week, three weeks ahead of my wedding for those of you keeping track at home, and the dress is finally in. Yet again that same manager who is the least helpful person I've ever dealt with doesn't offer any additional assistance, I'm the one who demanded they overnight ship the dress to my bridesmaid who lives two hours away from me; and after everything she was still reluctant to do that much for me. In conclusion my bridesmaid was able to wear that dress only because her amazing seamstress got it altered in record breaking time. Would never suggest this place to anyone I know, ever.

My bridesmaids are in three different cities. I went with one to the store to try on dresses. Average customer service that day but has gone down hill since that time. Picked out style and had maids call in with measurements as they live in three different cities. Bridesmaid's dresses were ordered January 12th and did not arrive until May 12th. I was given four different expected delivery dates, not sure if that was a manufacture issue or store issue. Woman assigned to our order said she kept calling manufacturer but I have no confirmation of that. Store owner didn't contact to inform us of delivery and has not called my matron of honor back after it was stated he would. Maids called in with measurements and order was placed January 12th. Store never called with this information. I only got it months later when I needed more information why our order kept getting move back. My maids and I called on various occasions to get an update on dresses. Store never reached out to us. Was told one date for possible delivery, followed by three later dates. Dresses finally mailed on May 8th, arrived at store May 12th. Maids had to call again to ensure dresses were in. Local maid went to pick up. Another from Minneapolis called to provide final payment and have sent out. One maid from Chicago asked to speak to store owner to have overnight shipping covered by the store since arrived so close to wedding date (June 3rd.) Was told store owner would get back to her. On May 19th the manager called me (bride) to say they were having trouble getting the dress to maid in Chicago. Store owner wasn't going to be in until 5:30pm and dress needed to go out by 4:00pm. Acted as if dress would be returned if not figured out. As the bride, I want everything to be finalized. I ended up paying off the dress so would be delivered. Owner has yet to call that bridesmaid to discuss matter. I would not recommend using this store for wedding or bridesmaids dresses.

My first experience at Heart to Heart with the two owners present was great I found my dream dress in 15 minutes with help from the owner after visits to multiple other places. However, that is where the positive experience STOPS. My first alteration appointment involved the owner's daughter complaing about other customers with the seamstress in front of me. Multiple phone calls went unreturned and when I was finally able to schedule a return dress fitting my mom drove 6 hours only to be told that there had been a mistake & my dress was not onsite or ready. When I went they didn't help me in my pinned dress the hem looked fine but where the dress had been taken in was awful & I had to have a third appointment it still wasn't right in my opinion but I was told it looked ok I ended up taking my dress to elsewhere where it was fixed in a brief visit for a small amount of money, while I was ecstatic my dress finally looked like it was supooosed to I was even more infuriated that it was such an easy fix and Heart to heart was unable/unwilling to do it. Day off my hem had all sorts of hanging threads that my mom had to cut with a finger nail clipper because we weren't prepared to have to do this. Additionally, my 4 part bussel held for about 15 minutes and after that I had to use safety pins, which I could have used all along for free with the same damage to my dress. They have a different inventory; however, if the owners aren't there you are out of luck. It is a shame as they are delightful and going to let their daughter run the store into the ground. If you find your dream dress don't let them talk you into alterations there, though the alterationist has been there a long time she isn't worth their hype or the high cost. I was going to have my bridesmaids purchase their dresses through them with the 10% off they offer when you buy your dress; however, with the discount the price was 40-80 per dress higher compared to two seperate salons my girls tried stuff on at.

This was my second stop in the search for my wedding dress. When scheduling my appointment the staff were courteous and professional and explained the whole process to me etc. However, the service I received at my appointment was bad and no I didn't go on a Saturday!!! My appointment was for 6pm on a Tuesday night and I was the only customer in the store for the first 40 minutes after that there was one customer who came in looking for a dress for her daughters wedding. On e I had chosen a few dresses to try on the consultant took them to a small changing room and then told me to have someone help me into the dresses and left us to it. I did not see another consultant until my friend went looking for one to ask if I could try a veil and necklace with my two favorites. For some reason there was no veil allowed and my MOH was directed to help herself to the necklaces. A few short minutes later a consultant came by as I was going back into the dressing room, I informed her we were done and I was just going to change. In the hour I was in this store the consultant spent 5-10 mins with me while signing me in, there was no help with dresses or suggestions as to which accessories would go with which dress, basically no help at all. It's a shame because I had a lot of money to spend on my dress and I did find the dress at this store; however the customer service was so bad before I had given them any money that I actually drive 3 hours round trip to another store to purchase my gown!!
