Theresa officiated our wedding and did a wonderful job. She created a beautiful and fun ceremony that incorporated an extended version of our love story and kept the audience interacting. It gave us such peace of mind to have her there on the big day. Her public speaking skills are perfect and she did mic checks to make sure everything would be just right at the ceremony.
At the rehearsal, she helped with lots of little details - where to stand, how to hand off the bouquet, the exchanging of rings - that made everything run so smoothly day-of. After the ceremony, she knew exactly what to do for the marriage license. We were so grateful we had her on our vendor team!

The Perfect Fit!
Theresa went above and beyond for our big day! She made her way to Hood River just for our rehearsal alone and then again the next day for our wedding day. Simply the best!
Theresa was the first person we hired after our wedding planners. I had seen her officiate the wedding of a childhood friend 6 years earlier and I knew I wanted her at my wedding; I was so relieved she was available on our date! Her ceremonies are truly romantic, funny, and magical. Her process brought us closer together as a couple. Our wedding planners said she was the most professional officiant they had ever worked with. Guests raved and raved about our ceremony. She makes your love story come alive and there is no such thing as a boring ceremony if Theresa is involved. I cannot recommend her enough.

Theresa made our ceremony PERFECT
Working with Theresa was so much fun! We were so impressed by how much time and effort she put into our ceremony and how she made it so unique to us. We had multiple people think that she was a family member based on how personal her words were. She had us fill out a questionnaire to base her script off of, and this was actually one of our favorite things in the whole planning process.
Theresa also worked incredibly well with our day of coordinator and other vendors and really made our day run as smooth as possible. We felt really confident after rehearsal and she even helped us though where we needed to stand and when to go etc, on the day-of. We also didn't have to worry about any of the paperwork on the day-of which was so nice with everything else going on. The whole experience was just zero stress and truly enjoyable, and we ended up with a perfect ceremony.
We loved Theresa and her sweet, fun and outgoing personality and would recommend her 100x.

Theresa had a great process for compiling all the important elements of our relationship’s story, and a great speaking voice and engaging manner that kept our guests engaged through our wedding ceremony.
In the rehearsal and on the big day she had the plan, the process and the gravitas to lead us through a far better ceremony than we would have had otherwise. We both felt like she got us, and our family/friends dynamics, and was a good advisor, MC and leader. She also took care of a few key details - like mailing in the marriage certificate - that we didn’t even think of!

My husband and I hired Theresa to officiate our wedding because we wanted to create a ceremony unique to us. Theresa created a beautiful ceremony that was everything we hoped for and more. If you have found Theresa Tuffli for your officiant, look no further! She came highly recommended from our venue. She is unique because she will write a personalized service just for you - as a couple. It was the highlight of our ceremony!! Everyone felt like they got to know us better and it was super special for us because we got to relive our relationship on our wedding day, and hear what we said about each other. (Theresa had us each fill out an extensive, secret questionnaire before hand!).
Definitely hire Theresa! She is super professional and goes above and beyond to deliver an amazing service but also be mindful of the photographers throughout the ceremony, which is super important. She brought a great one and inflection to the service speech as well. She also gave us GREAT coaching at the rehearsal and really helped us hone in on a few details we hadn't quite ironed out. I had messaged and spoken to a few officiants prior to Theresa, but after speaking with her over the phone I knew we needed to go with her. She was kind, informative, suggestive and very personable. We were both required to fill out a questionnaire that included our love story, the proposal, etc. and I thought that was very unique. She then used that to write our ceremony which was super cool because it made the ceremony so much more special than just hearing the traditional vows. Everything went so smoothly and we were also given a rock shaped like a heart (hearts are also my favorite shape, which I realize now is why I definitely needed to go with Theresa!) from the Clackamas River hence the name “Heart Rock Ceremonies”. My family loves the ceremony as much as we did and thought Theresa did such a great job. If she’s still in the business in a few years I would love for her to do our vow renewals! I would recommend her over and over.

She’s an Absolute Dream!!
Let me tell you something, you do not want to get married or celebrate any occasion without Theresa. She is so good at her job it’s unreal. She did our wedding and she put so much time and energy into writing our personalized and custom ceremony. She guided us, ensured we had everything we wanted and nothing we didn’t, she was respectful and her delivery was excellent. She even worked with me and my husband (separately) to ensure our vows were similar in length - like who even thinks about that!!! Anyways, there wasn’t a dry eye in the audience. Theresa was so easy to work with and helped us through all the drafts of writing our ceremony. She easily facilitated both our rehearsal and ceremony and gave us new ideas for both. She voiced our stories so well and told new stories that some of our family weren't even aware of. Our ceremony was so true to us and was just everything we could've asked for.

One of a Kind!
My wife, Keshia and I had a small wedding (approximately 25 people) with our closest friends and family at Timberline Lodge. After the first conversation with Theresa, we felt like we had made a new best friend! She is absolutely incredible. The amount of time and attention she paid to learning our love story, communicating with us, and developing a wedding ceremony that was unique to us, created a wedding experience that we had never witnessed, let alone imagined. She is so engaging and makes developing the wedding ceremony a fun highlight of the wedding process. We cannot say enough good things about her. Absolutely amazing!
Theresa was truly a lifesaver for our wedding this past Saturday! We had another officiant lined up, but they went completely AWOL when I sent follow-up questions (for months!) prior to our ceremony. COVID made a mess of things for so many people this year, including for my husband and me, but Theresa was there to save the day and make sure we could still get married. I can't thank her enough for her professionalism, enthusiasm for her job, and positive attitude during the process. Just based on how our experience was for our minimony, my husband and I are planning to hire her for our one year vow renewal/reception in September 2021 to help facilitate and keep things running smoothly. My daughter and her now husband interviewed and chose Theresa to officiate their ceremony, and I am so happy that they did. Everyone raved about her after the wedding. I love the idea about customizing a ceremony to include both the bride and groom’s version of “their story.”
About how they met, and how their relationship moved forward. Her delivery was exceptional. She is a warm and personable individual. It was very important to my wife that we have a personal ceremony. We talked to some friends about being our Officiant but my wife had been to a wedding that Theresa officiated and she really wanted to go with her. Flawless and Heartwarming
After seeing Theresa officiate a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in, I knew I wanted her for mine as well! She was very personable, funny, gave great directions at the rehearsal with lots of little details that many of us wouldn't have thought about. She helped all of us calm our nerves before the ceremony by being there early and going over what to do while we were getting ready. It was very helpful!

Theresa was the most amazing officiant ever! Incredibly detailed, professional, and brings an energy the alter that is second to none. She does a great job understanding couples and bringing their story to life. The first time my wife and I read the first draft of our ceremony, we both cried. She worked hard to understand our relationship and who we were and applied it perfectly into our ceremony. Our guests laughed, cried and everything in-between. Theresa was always very timely, strict (in a good way) on showing the wedding party when and where they needed to be, and always had a smile on her face. It was like I have known her forever!
She was the perfect officient for us and very flexible! She helped us write our love story and honestly it captured us perfectly. Throughout the whole process she stayed connected with us and really took alot of pressure off by being organized, friendly and passionate! From the first time I met Theresa to discuss my vision for my ceremony, I knew she was the perfect person to officiate it. She was so sweet, and I really loved just chatting with her getting to know one another. The conversation was so easy and effortless. She provided my now husband and I a questionnaire, asking about our love story, and then created a CUSTOM ceremony based off the information we provided. I seriously got SO many compliments from people saying how they loved hearing our story rather than the typical generic ceremony. It was seriously so perfect and honestly made our day so special. It was heartfelt, funny, and really represented US and our journey, cause I mean that's what it is about. Now let me start by saying, my husband and I had a very specific vision for our ceremony. To us, this was the most important part of the day so we needed someone who really could capture us. Theresa did just that. Not only is she kind, accommodating and just all around a riot, she is so generous and helpful through the whole process. From our first meeting we knew we wanted her to marry us. One really special thing about her process is that she writes your wedding... all about you and what ever you want. We had a few tweeks and changes and there were no questions asked! You knew exactly what you were getting but on the day of, it is even better. She is a total rock star. Every single person I have talked to have said just how beautiful the ceremony was; that they were crying almost the whole time! People that knew my husband but didn't know me said that they really felt like they got to know me in the ceremony which is pretty special. A little note, but so important... she dresses impeccably! You won't get a frumpy officiant with Theresa so you know that your photos will be perfect.
One last thing that I appreciate about her is that the day before at the rehearsal she is no nonsense. She talks everyone through where theirs hands should be, where bouquets should be etc. She does it in a fun way, but she was awesome at guiding us through the whole process. She isn't just there to marry you, she is there to be apart of your day and be a part of your marriage. Thank you Theresa!

We didn’t know what we wanted as far as the flow of our ceremony and Theresa was so helpful and patient in assisting us with absolutely the most memorable ceremony. Mutual Wierdness Forever
Theresa was the key component to our AMAZING ceremony. I don't want to sound brag-y, but, I have been to many weddings and often people glaze over the ceremony and don't remember much, that was not the case for us. I had so many of our friends and family give us compliments on the ceremony! My husband and I had our input but it was Theresa's creativity that really brought it all together. It was beautiful. She shared our story, how we came together, how we live together, and then we rounded it out with vows. EVERYTHING was customized to fit who we are as people and as a couple. I never thought the ceremony would end up being our favorite part of the wedding day, but it was and that is mostly because of Theresa and her work. Theresa curated a ceremony that was so memorable, personal and touching, it is the number one thing people comment on when recapping our wedding. Moments before the ceremony, my mother tripped and injured herself. We attended to her quickly and then proceeded. After the ceremony, Theresa offered to drive to get some ibuprofen for my mom when she could have simply left as her duties as a vendor were complete. From the moment I met Theresa in a coffee shop, my (future) husband and I knew that she was our gal! When we met, we spent over an hour getting to know each other and sharing our love story. Her bright, charismatic, and positive attitude made us feel comfortable, excited, and ready to rock the wedding! I really appreciated the timeline and next steps that Theresa provided us, as we were already ahead of the ballgame in getting our officiant set up. From the moment we first spoke with Theresa over the phone, we felt instantly comfortable with her. She interpreted our vision for our wedding ceremony beautifully, incorporating our own words (from carefully-completed questionnaires) with other events we wanted to include (such as a song). Throughout the process of creating our custom ceremony, Theresa was extremely quick and responsive via email. During our rehearsal, Theresa’s kind yet professional attitude made everyone feel at ease, and she provided helpful guidance on ceremony logistics. The other officiants we spoke with said that they don’t typically attend the rehearsal, but I really appreciate that Theresa was there. During our wedding ceremony, she was a warm and articulate speaker, and we received many compliments from our guests about her. Her fee was also extremely reasonable based on the time she spent crafting our ceremony. We are so glad that we chose Theresa to officiate our wedding!

Where to begin... Theresa went ABOVE & BEYOND our expectations. During the initial planning process, she set up an "interview"questionnaire with us to help her understand our love story. This, not only, gave us a heartfelt keepsake (we got to see each other's perspectives of our love story) but the interview helped her to understand our love story, personalities, and future goals together. The final ceremony copy is something we will cherish forever. All of our guests kept complimenting Theresa on the ceremony--it was perfect. Our original officiant backed out on us literally a week & half before the big day! Theresa literally stepped in & made our day so special & personal I'm so glad that our original guy backed out because it was so amazing! I've recommended her to anyone getting married!

Theresa is AMAZING. First of all, when my fiance and I met her, we felt instantly at ease. We had a casual conversation in which she learned a bit about us, which enabled her to provide some suggestions on readings for our wedding. Then, she sent my fiance and I private forms that asked about how we met, our first thoughts about each other, how our relationship had developed, our hopes for the future, etc. She incorporated much of this into an entirely personalized ceremony that told our love story in a way more beautiful than I ever could. Indeed, when I read through her draft of the ceremony, I learned cute things about my fiance from early on in our dating that I previously didn't know! She knew we liked science and she suggested a couple science-related readings to choose from, one of which my fiance and I loved. We wanted a ring warming ceremony, which she was happy to incorporate. After the ceremony, MANY people told me it was the best ceremony they'd ever been to. Even some of our usually-less-emotional guy friends told us the ceremony was one of their favorite parts of the entire day. The ceremony was so personalized, so utterly perfect for us... I may end up framing it and putting it on our wall. Just thinking about the ceremony now makes me emotional. Theresa truly has a gift for getting to know people and writing perfectly personalized ceremonies. And price-wise... she was actually less expensive than a lot of other options, even though I would have paid Theresa 10x more for the service she provided. She's genuinely a good person, and a great officiant. Thank you, Theresa!

Theresa is AMAZING. My husband and I both live out of town (I'm in Kansas and he's in California ). I contacted Theresa Theresa before the ceremony and we communicated entirely through email. She was incredibly easy to communicate with and helped us feel at ease the entire time. We had a *tiny* ceremony (Theresa, the two of us, our photographer and her assistant, and my best friend).
Theresa asked us to fill out a questionnaire before the ceremony and created a personalized ceremony - just for us. She even surprised us, so the first time we heard the ceremony was while it occurred. The first time I met Theresa was in the parking lot as we prepared to walk to the wedding site; I immediately felt as though we had known each other for years.
Theresa is amazing, and if I could give her more than five stars I would. The ceremony was better than I could have imagined, and I'm so happy we chose Theresa to be there and officiate our special day.

Theresa was awesome! She was able to fit us in with very short notice. She offered her property on the Clackamas River and it turned out perfect. She prepared a very nice "love story" about our ongoings leading up to the big day. I recommend her to anyone looking or needed an Officiant!

The not so good, I have no comments because she met and exceeded our expectations.
The good is that she was very flexible and worked with us being out of state. We were able to FaceTime and text. She accommodated traveling to our wedding venue without hesitation despite its potential hazardous driving conditions. She helped me with a great number of aspects of our wedding because I didn't hire a wedding coordinator due to it being a small wedding of less than 30 people.
She walked us through everything step by step leading up to our wedding day and the day of. Everything was a blur so it was a great thing having her there to cue us in on what to do.

My wife and I come from different spiritual backgrounds and are also eclectic and unusual people when it came to what we wanted in our wedding. Theresa was definitively capable of meeting all our needs and complementing our concept of our wedding in a creative, fun, loving and compatible way. My Father was incorporated, our guests felt like part of the ceremony, our children were included, and her preplanning, additions and execution of our ceremony was appropriate and genuinely felt. I love what this lady does.

We are so happy we used Theresa as our officiant. From our first meeting both my husband and I were totally comfortable with her and felt that she was "the one." We hired her right on the spot and I am glad we did. Theresa custom wrote our ceremony and we have gotten so many compliments that it was the most sincere and heartfelt ceremony our guests had ever seen. My husband and I are not religious so the ceremony was absolutely perfect for us. Theresa came to the rehearsal and took charge to make sure everyone knew their place on the day of. The wedding went off without a hitch and I am so so happy with Theresa. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Two weeks before the wedding the kids officiator was unable to make it. So Theresa became our Hero. She customized the wedding for Jesse & Marissa in what they wanted in their ceremony. As the Father of the Bride it is refreshing to see both being asked what they wanted in a very important day. When asked about any special requests for the families Theresa was open with many ideas to accommodate the wedding. Looking forward to working with her in my stepdaughters Wedding in May 2017.

Theresa provides such a unique, special and customized ceremony service. She is heartfelt and thoughtful in her storytelling and even recreated a special moment for us - an amazing surprise! She had my husband sing an excerpt from a song he sang to me on our first Valentines Day together. I cannot begin to say enough nice things about our experience with Theresa Tuffli. Finding an officiant was one of those "minor" details that I had kind of put off for a bit too long. I researched and contacted a large amount of officiants in my area and some were unavailable, some seemed to be only operating a business only and weren't passionate about what they did and some were charging more money than I thought should be legal. Then there was Theresa. From the moment I first spoke to her, I could sense the passion that she had for what she did. She was a normal person with a big heart that was truly passionate about performing ceremonies for couples from all walks of life. We first met Theresa at a local breakfast spot and swapped stories back and forth about our backgrounds. She really wanted to get to know us so that she could make a customized wedding ceremony that wasn't cookie cutter. Over the course of about 5 weeks, we emailed back and forth and my husband and I filled out a questionaire that truly explored every aspect of planning a ceremony, down to finite details. A week before our wedding (she would have sent it earlier if we had wanted her to) she sent us our draft of a ceremony and we made tweaks until it was perfect. You could tell that she put a lot of thought and energy (and love) into creating something that would be truly memorable for the rest of our lives. Theresa was able to come out the day before our ceremony to rehearse and, at my request, took charge and put people in line. She maintained my sanity amidst a lot of chaos and I could sleep better knowing that she would ensure that our ceremony went off without a hitch. I couldn't have dreamed up a better ceremony for my husband and I, and her suggestions of how to be introduced at the end of the ceremony as husband and wife, down to the Celtic Poem to be read during the ceremony were perfection. Theresa is an absolute joy to work with and was the guiding light in wedding planning I needed.

Theresa is amazing! We got married yesterday and she made our ceremony more personal, special, and emotional than I ever imagined. We also have an energetic group of friends and family and she did a great job orchestrating them during the rehearsal and on the day. She uses personal stories to write the ceremony based on you individually as a couple. People have been raving about how unique and special our wedding was, and we have Theresa to thank for it. She was very flexible to the point of accomidating our turtle into the ceremony.

What an amazing person to work with!!!! Our ceremony was based from Theresa's astonishing creativity of using our love story. When my fiancé and I read the first draft out load to one another, we started to show emotions, our story was so beautiful. We couldn't of asked for better person!!!

Fantastic personalized ceremony
Theresa Tuffli is an energetic and bubbly person who loves love and had us sold upon our first meeting. Her process is simple: fill out a couple of questionnaires, both individually and together, and upon returning them she creates the first draft of the ceremony. From there we could do as many revisions as we wanted to get the perfect ceremony for our wedding. At the rehearsal she took charge and walked us through the whole thing a few times and that allowed us to tweak a few things in the process. Our ceremony was extremely personal and about us. It was everything we could’ve wanted!
