Laura is amazing!

We have three daughters, and this was our first daughter's wedding. At first, we weren’t sure if we needed a wedding planner—but we are beyond grateful that we chose Laura and Heart of Sedona Weddings. She is truly the best! Her expertise and experience are unmatched. Every vendor she recommended was top-notch. Laura kept us organized, on schedule, and guided us through every detail, no matter how small. Laura is very detail oriented and created a well-thought-out timeline for every aspect of the wedding, and she kept us on track throughout the entire planning process. Her ability to juggle multiple tasks, vendor communications and meeting deadlines with ease was truly impressive. We never felt overwhelmed or stressed because we knew she had everything under control.

Absolutely incredible!

If you're getting married in Sedona, booking Laura at Heart of Sedona Weddings is a MUST! She was exceptional to work with. Our contract began while she was away on vacation and she made it a point to continue to reach out, plan, and assist in the best capacity she could while camping in the wilderness. I really appreciated that and it went a long way.

There's truly nothing Laura can't do! She was tracking the weather for us months, weeks, and days leading up to the wedding and helped us in deciding on a tent last minute (which was necessary since it torrentially rained 15 minutes after our ceremony ended and our reception was outside in a courtyard). She and her team set up everything to perfection, wiped down tables and swept water out of our tent after the rain stopped, made sure everything flowed perfectly, and put important things aside and gave them to me after the party wrapped up to ensure they weren't misplaced and I was able to take home what was important to me.

She's a gem and I truly don't know how the day would've gone without her and her team's work! Thank you, Laura!!

You want Rev. Andrew marrying you

Where do I even begin about Reverend Andrew??
What a kind gentle soul. A little over three months ago, we had the privilege having Andrew marry us. For your wedding in Sedona, you want this thoughtful, well-learned soul marrying you. He is well-studied in the world's religions and spirituality, and so brings this wealth of experiences to his couples. He also helped us find Sedona's best photographer, Rebekah Hlasny (www.rgonzalezphotos.com), for our wedding. They have worked together on many many weddings and, in our opinion, they are Sedona's Dynamic Duo.
We opted for his "Treasured Moments" wedding package. To prepare, he sat down with us on three occasions (two online and then a face-to-face over coffee once we arrived the week of our wedding). Perfect for all of us to get to know each other and for him to gently guide us in planning what ended up being such an ideal gathering and ceremony for us. Through all of it, we became fast friends and we realized quickly there was no one else we wanted to marry us.
Come the evening of our sunset wedding, he hopped in our Pink Jeeps and once we arrived out on Merry-Go-Round Rock, he knew exactly how to help decide where best for us and the rest of our wedding party to be. Once the ceremony began, he brilliantly guided all of us to take in the moments, the magnitude, the beauty, and the spirituality around us.
We can't thank you enough Reverend Andrew! And thank you Laura, for letting this amazing man of yours be the person marrying us that evening.

Hosw is the best!

We hired Laura for month-of coordination and were absolutely blown away by how incredible she was. Not only did she plan us the most BEAUTIFUL wedding, but she went above and beyond several times to ensure our day was everything we wanted. She is the most professional planner while also being so kind and patient, and hung in there with me through so many changes, delayed responses, etc. I actually cried at the end of the reception because I was so grateful for her hard work and also so sad that our planning time together had come to an end! HOSW and Laura are the best, hands-down.

Laura and Hearts of Sedona are amazing

We can't thank Laura at Hearts of Sedona enough for the wonderful work she did planning our daughter's destination wedding at Enchantment in Sedona...in October...during COVID. We capped the head count at 50 and live streamed to everyone who couldn't come. Everything came off without a hitch and was absolutely perfect. Laura is experienced and has built relationships with the venues and vendors in Sedona. She's a creative spirit who can take your ideas and make them happen - in budget. She covers all the details and takes the stress off the bride and family. She's just delightful to work with, I can't recommend her highly enough.

Our Sedona wedding was the most spectacular and heart-felt event of our lives. We are so grateful to Laura and her team at Heart of Sedona for bringing to life our vision and executing an event that our guests are still talking about.

Laura is the best in the wedding planning business. She is calm, creative, supportive and detail-oriented. Our wedding took place at Enchantment Resort in 3 different spots, including two outdoor areas. Laura and her team set up the venues beautifully and guided our guests seamlessly to each location. Even when the rain threatened to bring the whole event indoors, Laura kept me calm and positive.

During the planning process, I felt blessed to have a pro like Laura assisting me with vendor selection, contract review, and negotiating with vendors. I felt I had a strong partnership with her and access to the best vendors, services and decor. She was also always available and prompt to return my emails or phone calls. We had a destination wedding so this was key.

Wonderful and thoughtful

Reverend Murphy was so wonderful! His words during the ceremony were meaningful and thoughtful, and made our wedding even more special. I think we all got teary eyed during the ceremony. Also, he gave up part of his Thanksgiving day with his family to perform our ceremony - that was incredible of him to do that.

Laura Marolakos is beyond the stars on each rating scale!

We had a quick engagement (6 months) and in that short time Laura became like family. Immediately, she got us going with the planning process and she walked us through every. single. step. Laura was able to break apart all the "to do's" of wedding planning into digestible bites. We never felt too overwhelmed or too stressed by the process. Her calm, professional demeanor made us feel confident from the moment we met all the way to the big day. Laura was thorough and meticulous in planning every detail. Her taste is exquisite. She connected with the heart of our wishes and just GOT US. She was amazing. We feel so lucky we got her as our planner. (Side note: as a professional, I feel like I learned a lot from her that I will apply in my job and future endeavors. Not sure if she knew what an impression she made on me. What an amazing role model and the world needs more women like Laura.)

We got very lucky by selecting Laura aka Heart of Sedona Weddings to plan our special day. We could not be any happier. Wedding planning can be overwhelming and stressful with all the pressure it can bring but having Laura as our planner made us feel at ease. As parents of the bride, one word that comes to mind, phenomenal!!! Laura was truly unbelievable. At every twist and turn she handled every detail in a timely manner. Reverend Andrew was PERFECT for our wedding. He sent us a questionnaire to fill out and tailored our ceremony to this. His opening words and sentiments were beautiful and sounded perfect in our wedding video. You can tell he has been doing this for a very long time. It was a little odd to be married by someone you don't really know but he makes it seem like you have known him forever. I am so glad he was a preferred vendor for Agave of Sedona and that he was a part of our amazing day! Would highly recommend.

We planned our boutique wedding in Sedona 8 months ahead. After talking to several area vendors, Heart of Sedona Weddings, seemed to best meet our needs. When talking to Reverend Andrew, he really listened to what kind of ceremony we wanted and offered us suggestions for different versions and locations. We were very happy with the beautiful setting to showcase Sedona and it was easy for our family to locate and walk to. Heart of Sedona weddings gave us references for restaurants, hotel, and florists that we were also very happy with. Andrew touched based with us leading up to our wedding and was able to capture who we are as a couple and what marriage means to us in the ceremony. We were very happy with the selection of photographers that he recommended and are excited to see the final photos! This was a very easy and relaxing process with attention to detail that met all of our needs. There was a possibility of rain and Andrew had a "rainy day" plan all ready for us in the event that happened. I would definitely recommend this company for your Sedona wedding package.

After researching a bunch of different elopement packages around the United States, my husband and I stumbled upon Heart of Sedona Weddings and we knew that we found a winner after reading all of the glowing reviews. After contacting Andrew, and getting a very speedy response from him, we knew we were making the right choice to work with him and get married in Sedona. We had a very small ceremony, only 5 people in attendance, but Andrew worked with us the same way he would've worked with a couple with 200 people in attendance. Andrew took the time to get to know us; how we met, what our hobbies are and what values we hold strong in our relationship. Andrew took these answers (through questionnaires and phone conversations) and tailored the ceremony to us. We could not imagine a better way to celebrate our love.
We got married outside in Crescent Moon State Park with Cathedral Rock in the backdrop. It was absolutely beautiful and picturesque.
Andrew also was incredibly helpful in recommending a hotel for us and our guests, a photographer, restaurants, and giving us advice for things to do in the area. This was awesome since we were planning a wedding from over 2500 miles away and had never been to Sedona before- that may sound crazy, but it was the best decision we could've made:)
We have amazing memories of our beautiful wedding in Sedona and we have Andrew to thank for making it all go so smoothly.

We loved having Reverend Andrew Murphy as our officiant! He was recommended by Tlaquepaque Chapel, and his immediate/helpful response was comforting - we had found our wedding officiant! He helped us map out our ceremony and was patient when we needed more time to make decisions. He was very open to our own spirituality and supported us in choosing our own readings or from a list of his suggestions. Although we never met before, we felt very comfortable communicating with him, as we spoke to him a couple times over the phone beforehand and emailed back and forth. We let him know our preferences for the ceremony, and he planned it out for us (one less thing to worry about!). Our wedding was on St. Patrick's Day, so he chose an Irish blessing for us as well. The day of the wedding, even though we had a slight change, he was understanding and accommodating. All of my grandparents have passed on, and he took great care in pronouncing their names correctly in remembrance during the ceremony. We felt so much at ease during the ceremony - all we had to do was say our vows, and he directed the rest! Also, he was very comfortable conducting the ceremony and had great suggestions on how it should go since he had conducted many ceremonies there before. He had even worked with our photographer, Janise Witt, before, and it was just one less thing to worry about! My fiance and I had been engaged for about 3 months before reaching out to Reverend Andrew. We planned a small ceremony ( just less than 30 guests)...almost like an elopement . We chose the Outdoor Simplicity Package, which was everything we needed and fit in our budget. The one thing that would have made the day even better would have been to have his wife, Laura, as our wedding planner. Initially, I was opposed to hiring a wedding planner. In hindsight, I would have appreciated having someone in charge of the day (and planning it!). It goes by so fast, that is one thing I wish we would have done!

Our wedding day could not have gone any smoother, and it's largely thanks to Laura and Andrew! Laura was extremely helpful throughout the entire process of planning. She got to know the style we were looking for and was able to help us decide on flowers, decor, rentals, and everything else we needed. She knew the venue we were using well, so she was able to create a rental order for us that covered what we needed. She set up our meetings for our one trip to Sedona prior to the wedding so that we had time to meet with everyone, and attended the flower & venue meeting to make sure everyone was on the same page. She also walked us through everything we needed the week of the wedding so that we felt we had everything under control. I can't believe how smoothly the day of the wedding went, and how little stress I felt. The room looked more incredible than I could have imagined, and everything went according to her very detailed plan. I can't express enough how much stress Laura took off our plates and allowed us to enjoy our wedding day! Reverend Andrew was also fantastic. We loved the personal touches he added to our ceremony and how he wanted to meet and hear about our relationship so that personal details could be included in the ceremony. It felt like he had known us since day 1! We highly recommend using Heart of Sedona Weddings if you want a beautiful, stress-free, memorable event.

Reverend Andrew officiated our wedding at Agave of Sedona in October 2016. He was amazing and we were so pleased with the service. Before the ceremony, he asked us to each respond to a few questions individually. He really spent the time to make the service personal and incorporated our responses into his readings. We had an excellent experience working with Laura! Planning a destination wedding is challenging and hiring Laura was the best decision we made for our wedding. She is there every step of the way. She helps you pick vendors, organizes meetings with vendors, organizes transportation for the wedding, assists in setting up room blocks, compiles a rental order, provides a timeline for the wedding day, handles deliveries on the wedding day, and makes sure everything runs smoothly during the wedding day. Laura has a lot of experience with wedding planning and her advice was always extremely helpful. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and a large part of that was a result of Laura's hard work.

Todd, our family, friends, and myself want to express our gratitude to you for such a beautiful and meaningful ceremony last Saturday. Your words were perfect! Working with you was very relaxing and easy ! This was such a very special time for all of us, thank you for helping us bring it all together.

Our dinner at the Barking Frog was so much fun! The service was outstanding! They had the entire patio set up for us and our daughter Emily brought things for them to set up. They had multiple photos of us set all over the table, flowers, candles and a wedding cake station! The ambiance was fabulous! ALSO, all three of our children spoke at our dinner, emotional through tears of joy. It was an evening of bliss!

We stayed in Sedona until Monday. (We all hiked Devils Bridge on Sunday).
Today we are in Ohio for a week to visit family.

Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts! We know you would love to retire, but we would recommend you to EVERYONE!

I started working with Laura a little over a year prior to our destination wedding. I had originally wanted to get married at a specific location and Laura was very honest about the challenges we could face with our outdoor location. So my husband and I flew out to Sedona to scout a new location and she had prepared a map of all the different locations that would be a better fit for our needs. Laura has great relationships with many vendors in Sedona and works with your needs to find a perfect match. Even though it was a destination wedding Laura made it less stressful, in fact everyone asked why I was so calm on the wedding day and it was because I knew Laura had everything under control. My husband and I were married on October 1st at L'Auberge de Sedona and Rev. Andrew performed our ceremony. It was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Prior to the big day, he guided us through the selection of our vows and readings and took the time to get to know us. The day before our wedding, Rev. I began to work with Laura ~1.5 years before our destination wedding in Sedona. From the start, Laura's services were invaluable. She was extremely well organized with a high attention to every detail. She had strong relationships in the community that she leverages as needed to "makes things happen". Laura had great insight into wedding planning...and execution the day of the event. She became a trusted advisor for us throughout the months of planning, and a dear friend by the day of the event.

In summary, when I think of Laura, I think of a conductor of a symphony. One can have a beautiful venue, talented musicians, the best instruments - but you need the conductor to bring it all together for an amazing performance. For us, Laura was that conductor. She enabled us to pick all of the pieces (the food, the venue, the flowers etc) to make it our special day...but she was the conductor that brought it all together and made for a beautiful event that we will forever remember.

Additionally, Laura's husband, Rev. Andrew, provided a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony for us. He took time to get to know us to ensure that the ceremony would be personable... It was beautiful.

We would highly recommend Laura, and Rev Andrew, for their services. They are the best!

I absolutely loved working with Laura and Andrew! If it wasn't for them, I don't think we could have pulled off planning a wedding from across the country. Finding Andrew and Heard of Sedona Weddings was the first blessing of our marriage. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. We chose the "Let Them Eat Cake" package because we wanted a very intimate wedding with just our closest family and friends. Andrew was AMAZING!!! He has a pastry chef he works with for the cakes (perfect), and a florist for the flowers. He provided suggestions for about a dozen different outdoor venues in Sedona, with links to photos taken at each. And when we chose Merry Go Round Rock for our ceremony site, he gave us a contact at Pink Jeep Tours to help us set those details in motion.

After filling out just a short questionnaire a few months before the wedding, Andrew was able to piece our answers together into the most personal anecdotes which he wove into our ceremony. I can't say enough about Heart of Sedona Weddings, or Andrew Murphy, they were simply outstanding. I would recommend them to my nearest and dearest without hesitation.

Laura with Heart of Sedona Weddings is so amazing!! If you do one thing for your special day is hire her. She responds to emails promptly, very professional and her ability to keep everyone on time is priceless. She is worth every penny!! Her thoughtfulness and attention to detail blew us away. We arrived back at our suite on our wedding night and she delivered had delivered our wedding runner and our candles that were used in our ceremony left at our door under umbrellas due to the rain so they would not get wet!!! She has the most amazing contacts from the cake, to the florist to whatever you need. If there were more stars I would give her more.

Andrew Murphy at Heart of Sedona Weddings was fantastic! He was very responsive and helpful from Day 1. He sent us a ton of information to help us design the perfect ceremony, and he incorporated things about us that he had learned from our emails and phone conversations that made the ceremony very personalized and about us. You never would have known the first time we met in person was 2 days before the wedding! That personalization was something that we really appreciated and was probably not something we were thinking about upfront when choosing an officiant. In addition to the wonderful ceremony he wrote for us, Andrew was very flexible with us the day of the wedding. When the weather didn't quite cooperate with us, he was still willing to grab an umbrella and find the perfect site so we could still enjoy the beauty of Sedona and the Red Rocks during our ceremony. We got married on September 12th, 2015.
Hearts of Sedona with Reverend Andrew made our wedding day so special, unforgettable, pleasant and special.
All the preparation and rehearsals were fun. All instructions and prior to wedding communications were on time , clear and very professional. Andrew prepared our ceremony so unique and touching our hearts. Andrew was great! Since we had never been to Sedona, or our venue location in person prior to our ceremony, Andrew provided us with so much information that would assist us for our entire visit. He was very flexible with our schedules, since we arriving in town the day before and only had a few hours to get everything done. We were very blessed to have him preform our ceremony.
Victoria Nabours was our photographer and I couldn't have asked for better experience. Since I wasn't able to meet with her prior to the ceremony, I sent a list of the requests of certain pictures. She made all of them happen and so much more. She made sure we stayed on schedule and was very flexible with the ideas we had while we were at the venue. She was so very sweet and nice and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Her turn around time for picture return was impeccable. We are very satisfied with our pictures!

Andrew Murphy is a class act and we now consider him a friend. I became engaged December 31, 2015 and married at Tlaquepaque Chapel on July 16, 2015. I live in Pittsburgh, PA and planned the entire wedding via email and phone with Andrew. He made the process enjoyable and easy. From the first contact, he was caring and understanding. I explained what we wanted and our budget. Andrew made recommendations for the venue, flowers, photographer, cake, accommodations, and the dinner. There was never any pressure and if I had a question, he responded quickly with advice. When I had difficulty contacting a vendor, Andrew made the call. I never feared that the day wouldn't be perfect because of the time and care he took with us. We had phone sessions with both my fiancé and Andrew to work through the details. He took this time to know us as individuals. Andrew, went above and beyond expectation. I didn’t want to take my dress and my fiancé suit on the plan. Andrew said we could ship them to his house. We did. Not having the stress of carrying those items on a plane, was a relief. The day before the wedding, we met with Andrew at his home and walked through the ceremony. He gathered additional details and incorporated them into our ceremony. On the day of the wedding, he met my groom 45 minutes before the ceremony, greeted guests, delivered my bouquet to me, and ensured us that all was okay. The ceremony was exceptionally personal to us and beautiful. Our family and friends commented on how beautifully unique the ceremony was to us and how personable Andrew was. If you plan to marry in Sedona, call Andrew Murphy. He and his wife are amazing at what they do. Even my friends in PA were shocked at how easy it was to plan every detail of the wedding over the phone and via email. They found my process so easy, they have recommended to family that they do a destination wedding. With Andrew Murphy, you will love every moment of the wedding planning and the wedding day!

Eloping can be a stressful experience, especially if you haven't met the minister who is going to marry you. From my first phone conversation with Andrew Murphy, he was attentive and caring, and put my fears at ease. He truly cared about giving us a memorable ceremony. From the initial contact via an E-mail to the day of our wedding, Andrew Murphy made everything happen for our special day flow seamlessly. Rev. Murphy did a fantastic job of organizing and performing our beautiful wedding ceremony. His expertise and experience really shined throughout our ceremony. He really listened to our story, our wants and needs, understood our personalities and molded it all into such a lovely ceremony. My partner of nine years and I were married by Andrew just this past Saturday. We planned our elopement ceremony in Sedona in only four weeks from 270 miles away. Our day could not have gone any better and Reverend Andrew Murphy played a huge role. He seems to have things down to a science yet gives you all the flexibility in how you want your ceremony to go that you'd ever need. She was there from the start providing support when needed, helping us make decisions and coordinating the entire day. The absolute best thing we can say is that during the day, we never worried about a thing. It could not have gone any better from our perspective. We barely noticed her at all when things were happening. She was busy, though. Watching videos that family members sent us, she was there the entire time making sure even the tiniest of details was not overlooked. We can't have been happier with how things went.

What a wonderful experience. Heart of Sedona and Rev Murphy were simply superb from the very first email through to the wedding day itself. We both cannot speak highly enough of Rev Murphy’s help and support to make our day so special.

We live in the UK and decided upon Arizona for of wedding setting as we had enjoyed previous vacations there. After an initial Google search, we spotted Heart of Sedona. Contact was easy with responses always prompt and comprehensive, full of ideas and the information required to make our day such a success. We chose a simple ceremony at Red Rock Crossing together with a photography and video package. Everything was exactly as we had hoped it would be (and more). Not only did Rev Murphy reply to every one of the many emails I sent, he was on hand two days before the wedding to run through a dress rehearsal to ensure the day ran as smoothly as possible. During the ceremony we were very impressed with the preparatory work Rev Murphy had clearly undertaken to make the service very personal to us.

We would both recommend Rev Murphy without any hesitation and the services of Heart of Sedona. The only sad thing was actually saying goodbye to someone who had become more of a friend in the months preceding the wedding.

We found Andrew Murphy through numerous recommendations as we were searching for the perfect venue in Sedona, AZ when we asked for recommendations for our officiant since we were planning a destination wedding. Andrew was very responsive & personal and both my husband & I felt very comfortable with him from the first interaction. Andrew listened to our desires for a very traditional yet personalized ceremony and he far exceeded our expectations. I was the mother of the bride at a recent wedding in Sedona, Arizona. We are from California so it was necessary to do all of the arrangements at a distance. This could have been a problem for many reasons but Pastor Andrew was easy to work with, flexible, and focused on the COUPLES needs, wants, and preferences.

From the time I met Pastor Andrew on the rehearsal evening to the day of the wedding, I was impressed by his gentle manner; his punctuality; his ease of communicating; his warmth; and his professionalism. The individualized, heartfelt service he created and led exceeded the expectations of EVERYONE in attendance. Many, many guests noted how impressed they were with Pastor Andrew.

Andrew was an exceptional officiant for our wedding! He was timely and organized with email contact before our big day, and asked us to describe our relationship in advance with thoughtful questions so he could design a custom ceremony that highlighted the values and timeline of our love story. Andrew involved our parents and family traditions, as well as beautiful words to describe how we feel about each other based on our own descriptions of our relationship. My husband's family speaks mainly Spanish, and my family only speaks English: Andrew was also able to interweave the two languages flawlessly so both families could equally enjoy and participate in our wedding ceremony. He was calm, thoughtful, and well-spoken, and made us feel very relaxed throughout the whole planning process. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a beautiful, personalized wedding ceremony, especially if you have the need for a bilingual service! We are so lucky to have found him. :)

Even though we are from Europe, we could organize everything easily through email/internet
Not only was Reverent Andrew Murphy very pationed and supportive, but he was also very helpful and made things easy for us.
We choose the package: Elopement Amateur Photo Package, which included the photographs taking by him, and they were absolutely beautiful and plenty.
His ceremonie was a delight. As we are not following a certain religion, it was a very personalized ceremonie and everything we could have dreamed of. He made us feel comfortable and helped us to create an unforgettable moment.
As we needed 2 widnesses, we were so pleased with Rev. Andrew´s choice.
As we are so happy with everything from the beginning till to the end we can truly recommend Heart of Sedona Weddings.

We will never forget Rev Andrew. He is so very warm and caring and professional. He guided us through a simple process long distance, then took our story and our selection of poems and blessings, and turned it into a beautiful, touching, personal ceremony. My husband and I chose Rev. Andrew Murphy to help us renew our wedding vows in beautiful Sedona, Arizona after reading his bio online. From the start, Rev. Andrew was very professional and always prompt in his correspondence. He helped us coordinate photography and flowers for the event and arranged the use of our preferred site with the forest service as well. He really made everything stress-free, which was a huge blessing! Although we had not met until the day before our event, my husband and I immediately felt comfortable with Rev. Andrew as he radiates peace and joy and acceptance.
On the day of the event, he created such a personally meaningful ceremony for us - completely tailored to our beliefs and values. Andrew Murphy performed our wedding ceremony on March 12th, 2014 and we couldn't have been happier. Right from our first contact, Andrew was extremely helpful, going above and beyond what we expected. He not only sent us information about the ceremony itself but included extensive information about venues, florists, restaurants, photographers, videographers, hair and makeup, musicians, cakes, where to get our marriage license and how to have it recognized in Canada, all of which was EXTREMELY helpful since we are not from Sedona.
We were looking for a spiritual yet not overtly religious ceremony and Andrew got it just right. I worked with Andrew and Laura on my destination wedding. Being so far away, communication was extremely important and they were both very responsive. Laura was very knowledgeable and always had great suggestions for my specific requests. I scheduled a couple of days to fly out and meet with some of the potential vendors, and Laura scheduled it all for me so that I was able to maximize my time there and get everything done. She was incredibly attentive the day of the wedding and made sure everything went off without any problems at all! She and Andrew met with us a couple of times prior to the wedding so that Andrew could craft an amazingly personalized ceremony for us. It was absolutely perfect. Laura and Andrew of Heart of Sedona Weddings were absolutely AMAZING and I could not be happier that I chose them to coordinate my wedding in Sedona, AZ.
Laura was always so responsive to my phone calls/emails whenever I had any questions/concerns, and I appreciated this so much!! On the weekend of the wedding, they both went out of their way to make sure that I got everything I wanted. Laura was able to arrange a rehearsal for us on a Saturday (we got married on a Sunday) at our venue when we originally thought the venue would not allow us to do so. She knew how important that was to us and I was so glad that she made it happen! Then, on the wedding day, I was so glad to have her there to keep my very large bridal party organized. She kept us on track and handled all the stressful things on the day of so that my parents and I could just relax!
As for Andrew, I can't say enough good things about him. He is such an incredible officiant and we were so lucky to have him for our special day. He is one of the nicest people we have ever met, and so understanding and intuitive! We met with him a few months before the wedding and he was more than happy to sit down and spend as much time with us as we needed. He even allowed us to customize our wedding ceremony in a format that we liked! During the ceremony, he said some really kind words about my husband and I, and he used these words to explain our relationship. It was so perfect!! And I absolutely loved all the prayers and readings that were included, it made the ceremony so beautiful.
I will never forget our gorgeous wedding, and I will also never forget that it was made possible by these two amazing people. I would HIGHLY recommend using Laura and Andrew to anyone that decides to get married in Sedona. They are kind, personable, and have a true passion for their work.

My wife and I planned a destination wedding in Sedona Arizona earlier this year. When it came to officiants we did not know where to start. Jill at Poco Diablo recommended Rev. Andrew Murphy and as soon as we met him, we were comfortable and knew why he was recommended. We were looking for a non-denominational ceremony that centered around our love of nature, travel and pets. We completed a questionnaire and had an informal meeting with Andrew and he nailed it! The ceremony was perfect. He listed to us, learned who we were as a couple and as individuals and wrote an amazing ceremony.

1 recommendation for folks considering an outdoor ceremony: make sure there is back-up PA system for the ceremony. We had some technical difficulties during the ceremony, but that was just a minor blip.

We would recommend Andrew without hesitation. He is personable, listed to what we wanted, and delivered. He was a big part in making this day memorable! Thank you Andrew.

I was a little leery of just hiring someone over the web without meeting him in person. After speaking with the Reverend numerous times before the wedding he seemed amazing, professional and to have a true passion for his job. Well we were right, he was amazing a true natural and the vows were perfectly written for us. The whole experience could not have been more perfect in everyway!!!! I would recommend Reverend Murphy to any wedding party!!!! Wonderful man!!!

I worked with both Andrew and Laura with Heart of Sedona Weddings for my wedding at L'Auberge in May of 2013. Both Laura and Andrew work very hard to ensure your wedding is exactly as you want it to be. Andrew was the officiant at our ceremony. He personalized our ceremony, was professional and did an amazing job. Laura was phenomenal! She knows all of the ins and outs and secret tips for planning your wedding in Sedona. Laura is genuine, professional and worked side by side prior to and the day of the wedding with all of the other vendors and our families to ensure all of the details for the day were confirmed and went off without a hitch! She is a GEM!!
