Exactly what we hoped for
Rev. Liz stepped in nearly last minute when our previous officiant canceled a month out from our wedding. She didn’t miss a beat. Perfect day!!
Robin is so sweet, professional and extremely helpful during the entire process and she was available to me via email or text everyday. I got to pick from so many packages and was able to add parts that were special to me and my husband. She arrived on time, and she was very communicative about letting me know her expected arrival time. Within 48 hours after the special day my license was already processed! Robin was recommended by a close family friend and I am so glad I booked her. I had requested her information because I remembered how awesome she was back then and I am definitely hoping my other friends choose her as well. 10/10 recommend!!! -

An Officient that Feels like Family
Rev. Robin was the first officiant we met with, and both my husband and I instantly knew she was the person we wanted to officiate our ceremony. She was great to work with. We opted to put together a custom ceremony by sending her pieces of several ceremonies she had to make something special just for us. Robin put the pieces together seamlessly. She was able to corral the entire wedding party (including four little ones) and run through the ceremony a couple of times during the rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, as I got to the front of the aisle, she showed me the literal stash of tissues she had with her. All of the little things like this that she did for us made our ceremony just that more special. Now a month after the wedding, people still comment on how good she was!Heart and Soul Ceremonies's reply:

Wonderful Expereince
We worked with Reverend Liz. She was very professional and kind. She worked with us to create the perfect ceremony that fit me and my husband perfectly! We are from out of state, and she was extremely helpful in keeping us on track and letting us know how the process in RI works so we didn't have to stress over making multiple trips to get everything in order. I would definitely recommend them! -

Wedding Ceremony
Robin from heart and soul ceremonies was absolutely phenomenal. Put it this way, our wedding party met her at the rehearsal dinner and were ALREADY raving about her and we hadn’t even had the ceremony yet! She put together the most beautiful selection of words for us and she was so informative, instructive, and knew exactly how to make everything run so smoothly. Amazing personality and I would recommend her to anyone for their big day. I think out of all our vendors we had an exceptional amount of compliments on her. -

Perfect!
I can not say enough good things about Rev. Robin. The most important part for me for our wedding was the person that married my husband & I and no one could top Rev Robin. I talked to many officients and once I found Rev Robin I knew my search was over. She is very quick to respond & very informative!!! I wanted our ceremony to reflect us as a couple & she did that above & beyond! -

Made our wedding personal and special!
I would hire Robing again in a second! She was personable, friendly, reasonably priced. She stayed in contact with us. I never had to wait to hear back from her she called in a timely manner. She had me review the ceremony to make sure it was perfect for us. She never took offense if I changed something. She included our love story and how we meet. Not a cookie cutter wedding! She didn't do the same wedding service you hear over and over! She talked with the guest, was on time, and very professional. She even stepped out of pictures (Like our first kiss). I did not even realize it until I saw pictures, I can not say enough good things about this company and ROBIN! HIRE HER!!! -

#1 Officiant
We were so lucky to have Robin from With Heart & Soul Ceremonies make our marriage official. She was amazing, from the beginning reaching out and getting to know us before jumping to the details. She stayed in touch for the 18 months before our wedding and made tweaks to our ceremony based on our ideas for what we wanted to be said. Robin spent time to write something that made us feel special, captured our love and let our guests feel how special the day was. Highly recommend for your wedding day, she was the best day! -

Perfectly seamless
Robin was amazing to work with. We have a stubborn group and she was able to wrangle them in. We were also a bit unorganized after the first time rehearsing and she was patient and willing to go over it about three times with us. She was professional, and really made the ceremony special. -

Robin was amazing!
We hired Robin to do our ceremony a couple of weekends ago, and she was an absolute delight to work with. Out of all of our vendors and service providers, she was hands-down the most responsive, the most on top of it, and the most pro-active person we worked with. She was professional, truly cares about the work she does, and will do everything she can to make sure the ceremony goes off without a hitch. -

Truly amazing
I’m so happy I found Robin and Heart and Soul ceremonies on wedding wire. She really does listen to the story you want to tell and she even tweaks it to sound even better! Although I arrived about 45 minutes late because of hair and makeup we still had chance to touch base and go over things a bit. We were very happy with how our story was told and we did keep it short and brief but everyone got it and we didn’t make them bored. I highly recommend their service they really do listen and deliver. ❤️ -

Officiant for our wedding
Robin officiated our wedding and she was excellent! She exceeded every need and expectation that we had. The Creative Soul
Liz was lovely! Planning and rescheduling a wedding in the middle of a pandemic was definitely a roller coaster, but Liz was very supportive and understanding. We ended up rescheduling our reception to next year and had our ceremony outside with immediate family. Truly a memorable day.-

Covid wedding with rev. Liz
Rev. Liz was amazing to work with! She was quick to respond to our questions and helped us in rescheduling our wedding date three times due to COVID. We met with her leading up to our wedding date to work on our ceremony and she was so knowledgeable about the whole process. She included a personal piece that myself and my husband wrote about each other in our ceremony and had all of our guests laughing and crying at times. She was so well spoken throughout the whole ceremony and all of our guests said what a great job she did. I highly recommend! -

Great experience with Rev Liz
We were really pleased with Rev Liz. She was very warm and friendly and shared many sample ceremonies with us to work from. She was also very understanding when we had to postpone our original date because of COVID restrictions and she worked with us on a really small outdoor ceremony over the summer that was perfect. I found her to be very responsive, thoughtful, and genuine. Would definitely recommend Heart & Soul! -

Wonderful Experience with Rev. Liz
We planned a last minute minimony during all the uncertainly of COVID, and Rev. Liz was immediately responsive, informative, and accommodating. Throughout the process she was incredibly communicative, and helped us create a ceremony that our family has repeatedly said couldn't have been more perfect for us and our day. She not only provided information and options for the ceremony, she also was available to get to know us, and help us figure out what to expect, what to focus on, and what NOT to worry about - far above and beyond her responsibility. Best officiates out there!
After canceling our wedding 2 times we decided to elope with a big wedding in 2021. We planned it in 4 days and Robin was more than happy to do it! This company has far too many great things to say about them from their custom ceremonies to a professional attitude and customer service they are just incredible!! -

Mother of the bride
My daughter and her now husband moved up when they married and we scrambled to give them a nice wedding. Heart and Soul ceremonies were wonderful in making things happen! Heart & Soul Ceremonies came through to help us plan a last minute wedding in Newport. Unfortunately even with safety and careful planning we had to cancel due to tightening of COVID restrictions. However, Liz was absolutely wonderful to work with - responsive, encouraging, supportive, helpful. My experience with them was a pleasure. Wedding Ceremony 9/8/18
I booked with Heart and Soul ceremonies because I was excited about their opportunity to have help make a custom ceremony for our wedding held in an old chapel. I had originally been contacted by Paula who was a wonderful help during the whole process. About a month prior to our wedding Paula had a family emergency and had her colleague Liz reach out to us. I was nervous as I had been in contact with Paula for some time. But thanks to Liz our rehearsal and ceremony went so smoothly and beautifully! Liz stepped right up and helped me do the final edits to our ceremony to really make it our own. We had some funny personal touches in our ceremony that made the moment unforgettable. I cannot thank Heart and Soul enough for their professionalism! -

Beautiful Ceremony Service
We met Robin M., at Rustic Wedding Expo at the Mishnock Barn in 2017, and after speaking to her and her associate, we decided immediately to give them a call in 2018 when we started to solidify vendors for our Dec. 2nd, 2018 wedding. We spoke to Robin a few times on the phone during the planning process, and several times via email as well, and both my Husband and I found her to be pleasant and accommodating. She helped us customize our ceremony exactly as we imagined it should be, with patience, helpfulness, and professionalism. We were literally brought to tears from the beauty and perfection of the ceremony, while we were in the midst of it happening! Our guests have been consistently complimenting how beautiful and touching the ceremony was, and we would have been lost without her guidance through the ceremony process all around. Despite our venue being out of state and a good hike away from their location, Robin was more than happy to travel to our venue and be our officiant for the wedding ceremony. She even took the time to arrive a bit over an hour early, to speak to both myself and (at the time) groom and help us prepare for the big moment. We are ever so grateful to Heart and Soul Ceremonies and Robin M., for helping us create and live one of the most beautiful times of my husband and my own lives! -

Paula is amazing, and it was such a pleasure to have her marry us on 6/16/18!
We had met with her in January, and instantly knew she was the one we wanted to perform our ceremony. She said we could either write our own vows or choose from some templates she provided us with after we met with her. We chose an amazing template that seemed to be written just for us, it seemed to describe our journey so far, and all we want for our future. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and Im blessed and grateful she was such a huge part of our day! Thanks for finally making it official after 11 years! -

We were married by Rev Liz Rowell at the Redwood Library and Athenaeum in Newport, RI in September. The experience with Liz was so smooth and effortless from start to finish. We literally can't think of Nything that could be improved. From the rate to the personal encouragement and advisement to the ceremony itself were just perfect! If you would like to have not only an amazing officiant, but also an amazing person to be the one to share in your special day and to be the one to marry you, then Paula Taylor from "Heart and Soul Ceremonies" out of Rhode Island is the true definition of what you're looking for.
My husband [I love being able to say that... hehe... :) ] and I have been planning for our big wedding ceremony and reception, which will take place at the end of this year, but we recently learned that his mom is ill and may not make it to then. Not having her see us married was not an option, so I googled "quick weddings" and came across Paula Taylor's name and reviews. I called her and immediately found her to be extremely professional, personable, and caring. I told her everything that was happening, and we planned a small, secret ceremony with my husband's parents, my parents, and his kids for Sunday, February 5th. On Wednesday of the following week that we booked Paula, we learned that his mom hadn't eaten in a couple of days. Fearing that she may not make it to the 2/5 date either, I called Paula that night and asked if she could meet us at my husband's parent's house the next night, and she happily agreed.
Paula gave us the most beautiful ceremony that I could have ever imagined. Her presentation of the material was heart-warming, and made him and I cry so much throughout, that we were barely able to say our words to each other.
Needless to say, we have also booked Paula for our "second" wedding as well, and we are so grateful to have her in our wedding memories. -

We had a very limited time to get married. We planned it in 3 months. I couldn't have picked anyone better to perform our ceremony. We chose bits and pieces from a number of their ceremonies and we ended up with the most beautiful ceremony we could ever ask for. Everyone loved it and we had so many compliments. I do not have enough room in this review to express how AMAZING reverend Paula Taylor is. She made the ceremony. She is not only our officiant, she is now our friend for life. She is someone who takes the time to really know you and your relationship, creating the intimate ceremony that will last in my heart forever ! When I was stressed at how disorganized my venue was at our rehearsal, she met me and my husband and told us she's going to "come in like a boss" and make sure it's runs so smooth that there was no need for an ounce of stress. (I mean come on, how cool is she?!) She is just the most genuine person I have ever met, this is not a job for her, she acts as if it is a privilege. When in actuality, it was OUR privilege to work with her. I want to give her 100 stars, but the knot made me stop at 5. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMENDED !! Thank you Paula !! -

Where do I even begin? My now husband and I are not the same religion. This was a sensitive subject as I am Catholic and he is Protestant. Therefore, we agreed that we would have an Officiant marry us for our November beach (yes, beach) wedding. I emailed 5+ vendors the same email question: "What makes you special? Why should we chose you?" An exposing question to ask, but we knew that the officiant who cared would take the time to answer vs. directing us to their stellar online reviews. There was something about Paula's response that put me, the uptight bride, at ease. I remember saying to my husband: "I like her." We met Paula at a Starbucks and after a simple conversation we booked her. I was adamant on writing the ceremony and vows ourselves and wanted to make sure Paula was on board. She was beyond on board. If we wanted more guidance, she would give it. If we wanted, less she would offer support from a far. She gave me a library of resources and templates to work from and there in was born a very personal, very intimate ceremony. We were able to layer in moments of God, moments of love and some out of the box things all with Paula's blessing. (We had our dog as the ring bearer, some funny readings and even a song played in place of a reading). Paula came to our families' home for the rehearsal dinner. A 30+ room of loud Italians is not easy to handle -- but Paula did so with grace. I wanted someone to take our very special ceremony and execute it flawlessly and Paula did exactly that. People LOVED Paula. She just nailed it. And watching Paula get choked up during the song meant she felt the love too. If you're looking for a seasoned vet, who will give you as much or as little guidance as you need, someone who is willing to help make your ceremony your own, call Paula. She is a special individual who l o v e s love and all that she does. Paula, you're part of our family now. Thank you for making our ceremony the most talked about part of our wedding day! -

Paula was truly amazing as a wedding officiant. She spoke beautifully and like a friend. From the first meeting we had with her we really felt like a friend we've known for a long time. We connected with her immediately and knew that we'd want her to marry us. We had a particularly different kind of wedding ceremony because we incorporated some hebrew readings and Jewish traditions. Paula was not only able to accommodate, but some of our more traditional guests were thoroughly impressed with her interpretations and readings. Robin at Heart and Soul Ceremonies was wonderful to work with. She was recommended by a family member in the wedding photography industry, due to her great experiences working with Robin in the past. From our initial inquiry, to supporting us in writing our own ceremony and vows, to the delivery and tact during the rehearsal and ceremony, everything was fantastic. Robin worked with us to edit and perfect our personally written ceremony, providing welcomed support and guidance along the way. Paula is amazing! She played a key role in giving us the wedding of our dreams. Her flexibility, professionalism, and her personality are a perfect match for a position as an officiant - you can truly see how much she loves her career! We opted for a non-traditional ceremony, and Paula was very helpful in providing us examples and templates of what other couples had used in the past. We worked with her to build a ceremony that was unique to us: fun, serious, nerdy, and revealing of our personalities. My husband and I wrote our own vows, and Paula was great with even the logistical things (holding the paper I wrote my vows on and handing it to me at the perfect moment). I was a Type A wedding planner, and she thought of things that I had overlooked - that's saying something! She was also willing to travel to our rehearsal and our ceremony - a site that was not close to where she is based out of - in the middle of an "almost hurricane" in the start of October! All in all, I would recommend working with Paula to all of my family and my friends. I will never forget how she touched our lives :) -

Paula was the first reverend I called and she made such an impression on me that I didn't feel the need to call anyone else! My then fiancé got home from work that day and I told him I was pretty sure I found our officiant for the wedding. Just to be sure, we met her later on that week. She worked around our schedule and even met us halfway since we live in Boston. The thought of choosing the wording for our ceremony frightened me. I just wanted the ceremony to be special and flow nicely. Paula provided us with several different examples which helped alleviate a lot of anxiety. Paula was there if we needed her. We didn't have to rush and get the ceremony/readings to her until a few days before the wedding which we appreciated. It gave us plenty of time to finish up all the other wedding plans without the pressure of deciding on our ceremony and readings right away. Paula made us feel so comfortable and calm which really made a big impact on our wedding day. We can't thank you enough, Paula! We highly recommend Heart and Soul Ceremonies. -

Rev. Robin at Heart and Soul Ceremonies is amazing! I felt so well taken care of both leading up to my wedding and on my wedding day. As soon as I paid the deposit, she sent me a variety of sample ceremonies and rituals so that I could put together the ceremony exactly like we wanted it. She used to be a photographer before she became a wedding officiant, so she had a lot of really helpful feedback during our wedding rehearsal about how to position yourselves ideally for photographers and/or videographers, because your photos become your lasting memories. She was full of knowledge and tips about how/when obtain a marriage license and marriage certificate and she was very knowledgeable about the Town Halls and the Department of Vital Statistics too. On top of all that, she is such a kind and genuine person! Such a sweetheart! -

I literally cannot put my joy and emotion into words when describing our ceremony that Paula officiated. We met a year before the wedding and immediately clicked. Paula was always so attentive during the whole planning process and so flexible with us. She was open to suggestions and suggested things back to us. The ceremony was such a dream and I was so elated over how it transpired. Paula was absolutely wonderful and I am so happy we had the honor of having her officiate our ceremony. We had such a great experience with her overall and are so happy we had a great connection with her. Everything within the ceremony was simply beautiful and our families were so floored and touched at how amazing and heartfelt it was. I cannot speak highly enough about Paula, she is such an amazing soul and great person to know! -

Paula was great to work with! She is very experienced and that made us feel much more calm and comfortable with the ceremony - we knew right away that she was on top of all the details and that we basically just needed to follow her lead. She sent us a lot of reading and ceremonies - we simply highlighted the parts that we liked most from each one and Paula put them together for a ceremony we really loved. She was also very flexible about meeting us in person when we were visiting Newport since we live in Boston.
On the day of the ceremony, Paula ran everything expertly. She made sure everyone knew where and when they were going, helped us stand in the right places, and her delivery and poise were outstanding despite strong, gusty winds. Lovely ceremony and we highly recommend Paula! -

Since we live in Boston our first “meeting” with Paula was via Facetime and we instantly knew that she would be the person to officiate our wedding. She is professional, genuine and personable. We were able to modify and blend a few of the ceremonies that she often uses to create our own customized ceremony and then Paula helped put the finishing touches on it. She is quick to respond to emails and is always available to help answer questions or address concerns. On the day of the wedding she was well prepared and helped put us both at ease so that we could enjoy the ceremony. Thanks Paula! -

Paula did a wonderful job with our ceremony! We were so moved by the ceremony she designed for us. She took the time to get to know us and understand us as a couple. She really made sure that everything that went into the ceremony fit into our vision and reflected what we both valued. We met with her once, and all our other communication was through phone and email. She's very easy to talk to, not to mention, a lot of fun! She's very sweet, kind, open-minded, thoughtful – basically all the qualities we were looking for in an officiant. She's also really responsive, and there were times when I received emails at 3:00 am! :) -

Paula was everything we could have asked for in an officiant and more! She was very responsive throughout the planning process, provided us with extremely heartfelt and well written scripts to choose from for the ceremony, and was flexible to let us change a few parts and insert our own vows. On the day of, she arrived early to walk us through all the steps involved in the ceremony and everything went seamlessly, even though we didn't have a rehearsal. Most memorably she was calm and collected and helped ease our nerves before and during the ceremony. The ceremony was also well-paced and felt very personal. We were near the beach, and the sound of the waves was loud, but Paula spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear. In sum, she made the process easy and the ceremony seamless, and was enthusiastic, kind and went above and beyond throughout. -

We LOOOOVE Paula! She is amazing! She married me and my husband in April and the wedding was absolutely perfect. We wanted a fun ceremony with lots of laughter and smiles and Paula didn't disappoint. She let us basically tell her the order of things and she put in her own flair. She told our story and captured our personalities. She was really a pleasure to work with. We met with her twice, first to ask our big questions and set the date and then second to review all the details. She even came to the rehearsal (not sure if this is common but it calmed my nerves!). I would recommend Paula to anyone getting married. She will help you enjoy the whole process! -

Paula Taylor did an absolutely wonderful job as our wedding officiant. On a big day like this you'll want someone with experience to help keep everything on track; Paula was exactly that for us. Her expert guidance made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process - friends asked me after the ceremony if we'd known her for years. She was calm, cool, collected throughout the ceremony and helped us both maintain our pre-wedding jitters in the moments leading up to our walk down the aisle. She had a wide array of ceremonies and vows for us to choose from; we ended up mixing our two favorite ceremonies together which was a big hit with us and our guests. Her delivery, poise and projection during the ceremony was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for better! -

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Rev. Robin McDonald renew our vows at Crystal Lake Golf Club this May. We have been married for just over a year and a half, my husband is in the military and our first wedding was very spur of the moment, we are currently living in Guam and loving our beautiful life together! I gave Robin a call and right from the start she was sweet and thankful for my husbands service, she also thanked me for being a military wife! She was so nice, I couldn't resist asking her to meet. Robin was very helpful and pleasant, she allowed us to choose our own vows and make them as short or long as we wanted. We were very happy with this. We visioned our wedding ceremony being short and sweet, and it was! I cannot thank Robin enough for her amazing job, we are truly thankful and blessed she was part of our special day! :) -

We can't say enough about Reverend Paula Taylor!! From the moment we met her, we instantly felt comfortable and a connection with Paula. She was very flexible and willing to make the ceremony exactly what we had envisioned. She sent me some ceremony templates and let me use pieces of them to create a our own unique and personal touches. I wanted our ceremony to be laid back for the guests, but very personal and being all about who we are. All of our guests still talk about how our ceremony was so different from any they had been too and absolutely amazing. People were so awed by the overall ceremony. She helped us so much and we couldn't thank her enough for helping us create an unforgettable day! -

We had the luck to have Rev.Robin MacDonald as our officiant. There are not enough words to describe all she did for me and my wife. We had no idea what we were doing and Rev Robin not only officiated our wedding she helped plan the rehearsal, pick the vows, and set up the procession. She calmed us down when we were freaking out, which was allot lol. She is a kind and caring person who radiates happiness. As a bonus they never blinked an eye when we called with only a month's notice to officiate a gay wedding. I highly strongly recommend you use this company. You will be so happy you did I promise!!! -

We found Rev. Paula Taylor online and reached out to her for an initial meeting. She responded immediately in a friendly and personable way. Our first meeting was a meet and greet to be sure we clicked with each other and would feel comfortable with having Paula as our officiant. Hands down, we knew right away through her positive vibe and great energy that she would marry us. Paula took the time to send us sample vows, she met us for a rehearsal run, carefully and patiently reviewed the wedding day with us, and performed an amazing ceremony on 8/15. Her attention to detail (down to carrying tissues for an emotional bride and paper towels for a sweaty groom) she impressed us and our guests. We highly recommend Paula for future wedding ceremonies! -

Paula was incredible! We were going to have a family member marry us but they backed out two months before our wedding. We were panicked and overwhelmed (to say the least) with our last details. I came on wedding wire to find someone new and as soon as I saw all the amazing reviews I kept my fingers crossed she could do our ceremony. We spoke on the phone and Paula was warm and reassuring. I booked her and was able (because I love to write) to use a combination of her ceremonies to create one that fit us as a couple. Paula and I exchanged a few emails before meeting at the rehearsal dinner. The first time we met was at the rehearsal dinner. I was running around a little nuts trying to get everything together and Paula was un-phased and patient while we waited for everything to begin. She also made sure we were centered for pictures, fixed my veil, and paid attention to all of the little details. The day of she was there ready to go, and "held our hands" throughout the ceremony since we were both so nervous, so we would look to her to make sure we were doing and saying the right thing. I feel bad I didn't get to spend more time getting to know her because she so wonderful! We were so busy and overwhelmed and only communicated with her when absolutely necessary, she didn't need us and was able to take initiative and be where she was needed and supposed to be at all times. We are both so happy and impressed with how professional and great Paula was. We can't say enough good things! Thank you Paula for such a beautiful ceremony. Thank you!!!!! -

I found Reverend Paula Taylor by reading these online reviews and they were absolutely accurate. She was wonderful! She tailored our vows to make the ceremony reflect what we wanted and incorporated personal letters we had written into the ceremony. Paula was the only person we met with when i was looking for an officiant, and we felt so at ease with her. I wanted a very non-traditional, non-religious ceremony that was short and sweet. Paula sent us some examples and I mixed and matched them and she was gracious enough to review the ceremony beforehand. Unfortunately because of a personal matter, Paula couldn't officiate at the wedding, but arranged to have Robin cover for her, which turned out great (and i was so glad Paula had a "Plan B"). Robin offered to meet us before the wedding, even though it was really short notice. She was well-rehearsed, paused when she needed to, was loud enough, and really kept us at ease the night before and the day of. I am so glad i went with Heart and Soul. -
