Highly Recommend!

We hired DJ Skip for our wedding, and it was, hands-down, one of the best decisions we made! From our first conversation, he was professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. He really took the time to understand our music preferences and vibe for the night—and absolutely nailed it.

The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and guests are still telling us how much fun they had. The transitions were seamless, the energy was electric, and the mix of music kept everyone—from our grandparents to our college friends—out on the dance floor.

DJ Skip also handled the reception sound beautifully. Everything was crystal clear, and all the little details like timing were spot-on.

If you’re looking for a DJ who’s not just talented but also genuinely invested in making your day unforgettable, look no further. We can’t recommend him highly enough!

The vibes are good!

DJ HeadSmile was amazing to work with, communicative and flexible. We really appreciated that he had a checklist of potential moments to have a song. Super open to our suggestions and managed the dance floor really well, and it was a vibe! If you’re looking for someone that keeps it running smoothly, he’s your guy!

Best DJ ever!!

Skip was everything we could have asked for in a wedding DJ. Having a great time on the dancefloor was very important to us and Skip did not disappoint!

The dancefloor was packed for nearly 3 whole hours and all our guests raved about the mixing and playlist, all of them saying it was the best time they've had dancing at a wedding!

In addition to keeping the dancefloor going, Skip provided amazing audio quality for our ceremony and reception. Having been to weddings where the it was hard to hear the officiant and vows, we really appreciated that he showed up with multiple systems and mics to ensure everyone could hear loud and clear.

We also loved the uplighting package! It really brightened up our tent and created an amazing atmosphere!

Skip was also extremely communicative and professional throughout the planning process. He replied quickly, worked with us to figure out exactly what we were looking for in a DJ, and showed up early to the venue for setup and soundchecks.

If you are looking for a professional DJ that will keep the dance party going all night while providing professional sound quality and communication, look no further!! Thank you so much, Skip!

Life of the Party

Skip was far and away the best wedding DJ I have ever seen. Not only was he an incredible emcee, but his management of the playlist and reading of the room was amazing. Despite the hot day, he constantly kept the jams going to keep people on the dance floor. His worksheet to craft our playlist was so thorough, and every one of our favorite songs was played throughout the night.

Wedding 4/26/25- DJ Skip!!

Headsmile Productions DJ Skip was absolutely a 10/10! He was extremely easy to work with, budget friendly, and really knew how to DJ with our eclectic music taste in mind! He seamlessly could MC our event and make transitions during our wedding day for announcements; he kept a nice flow to our ceremony, cocktail time, and reception. He knew how to get the dance floor full and picked great music for everyone to dance to. I appreciate how he incorporated our requests into planning (like the anniversary dance, adding the in-law dances, etc). Overall, Headsmile Productions is highly recommended by us and you definitely need to hire him for your next event or wedding!!

Skip was a ton of fun at our wedding! He did a great job tailoring the music to our requests just based on the general input we gave him. He even included a same day request to change one of the key songs for the first dance to a custom track. 10/10 would recommend!

Best night ever

Skip absolutely killed it on our wedding day! He did such an incredible job of being
courteous, respectful, he accepted requests (which was important for us!), he made only
announcements we asked him too, he kept the crowd going & was also great at reading the
crowd, his communication the day of and leading up to the event was great, he played a
great mix of music, and overall, we honestly just couldn’t have been happier with our DJ! I
would highly recommend him for anyone’s event – but especially if you want one less thing
to worry about on your big day!

Wonderful experience!

Skip, the DJ/ owner of Headsmile Productions was a pleasure to work with. He was responsive when communicating via email and on the day of the wedding, he was prompt, professional, and responsive. We requested a specific cover of a song for the processional and he located it no problem. We had a small wedding at The Corson Building and he read the crowd perfectly and got everybody dancing. There was a change last minute with the toasts due to weather, and he adapted quickly and made it all feel seamless. We would recommend Skip to anyone!

Best Wedding DJ ever!!!

Skip did an amazing job of DJing our wedding this summer at Crystal Mountain. We really wanted a good DJ to keep the party going and he did more than succeed! Multiple guests have told me day of and after the fact that he was one of the best wedding DJ's they have ever experienced!

He really reads the flow of the crowd and spins as well! He went above and beyond to make our wedding reception a blast! I am so grateful we went with Skip for our special day!

Best Wedding DJ in Seattle, 100% Recommend

100% would recommend Headsmile Productions DJ and Skip. Skip was a phenomenal DJ for our wedding and made the whole process very seamless and personable. He was very easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding. My wife and I let Skip mostly take control with a few song and musical suggestions, and he did not disappoint. The music played from ceremony to reception matched exactly what we were going for. People were on the dance floor all night, and Skip played a big part in making our big night one we will never forget!

The Best Wedding DJ Ever

Skip is an absolute master. Communication with Skip from start to finish was excellent and his spreadsheet of the day's events was helpful to select music throughout the wedding day. We spent a good amount of time picking out certain songs for the ceremony and reception, and not only did Skip have every song available, he made it flow perfectly. We were most impressed by his ability to pick songs we love, but never requested. He has a knack for reading the crowd, and we received countless compliments from our guests that Skip's DJ and MC skills were the best they've heard. Highly recommended.

Knowledgeable, fun, and knew how to have a good time

Headsmile Productions is a great name because you will constantly have a smile on your face. Skip (Owner & Operator I believe) was fantastic to work with. We contacted Skip and quickly knew he would be the DJ and MC for our wedding.

He was prompt, courteous, non-pressuring, flexible, and provided excellent communication. We appreciate his very very quick turnaround on email and text.

He exceeded expectations by miles when he did not need to. For example, we asked he be at the venue by 3:30 PM to do mic checks and setup. He said he would show up at 2:45 PM or so and I saw him setting things up (so he already moved his gear too) into the ceremony area at 2:30 PM or sooner. While being so busy, he was able to check in on my wife and I and make sure we were all settled. A one man show as well, got to see a buff Skip getting work done.

In all seriousness, Skip was great in music selection and we fully trusted his ability to figure out what music my friends and family get down to. If we ever need to recommend a DJ/MC or have our own, he will be the first person we think of. 11/10.

Cannot recommend highly enough!

Our wedding was June 3, and Skip was an integral part of making our day perfect. Skip was recommended to us by another recently married friend, and WOW did that recommendation pay off! He was so easy to work with, and everything was stress-free. We so appreciated his hard work, flexibility, and professionalism. He kept the dance floor going all night!

Professional, fun and thrives under pressure

Skip was the best choice for our wedding. Our ceremony was outside then it unpredictably rained so hard we had to switch to Plan B and have the ceremony indoors. Skip was all set up outside and managed to get his equipment indoors safely and set up with all microphones and music in less than 10 minutes. It was truly outstanding. He was great to work with from start to finish and a lot of fun. We can't recommend anyone more highly and urge you to choose him for your wedding too!

Need an amazing dj!

My husband and I loved working with Skip from Headsmile Productions for our wedding. We had to pivot last minute due to an illness in the family and Skip was so accommodating. We loved that we were not working with an agency and we knew exactly who would be onsite at the wedding, it made communicating our needs so much easier. The day of the wedding Skip set up in two locations; our ceremony space and the reception. He was prompt and professional and everyone loved him. The dance floor was full all night and he did a great job as our MC, making sure things flowed effortlessly and everyone had a great time. We have already recommended him to friends of ours getting married in Washington later this year!

Incredible DJ!!

My wife and I hired Skip to DJ our wedding last month after he was recommended to us by our photographer, and honestly, we couldn’t be happier with that decision! His lively personality, professionalism and energy created an incredible atmosphere throughout the wedding, especially on the dance floor! He was very easy to communicate with from the get-go, and always made sure we were on the same page. He took time to learn our style/interest in music, and put together a mix that exceeded our expectations in every way. The dance floor was packed the whole evening, and many of our guests reached out to let us know how much they loved his style and the atmosphere he created.

Amazing Wedding DJ Experience

We hired Skip for our August wedding and were so impressed with him and his services! He was extremely responsive throughout the entire planning process and was so easy to work with. We didn't actually meet him until between the ceremony and reception because we had so many things going on on the day of the wedding. He did such an amazing job with both our ceremony and reception. He played a great mix of requested songs and songs to get everyone dancing. Our guests were on the dance floor all night which was awesome to see! He singlehandedly kept the party going throughout the night and was a fantastic MC as well! We highly recommend Skip and Headsmile Production, thanks for making our day so perfect!

Great experience, great music!

Skip is absolutely fantastic. We had a relatively smaller and older crowd at our wedding (56 people) and there were plenty of people on the dance floor all night! He was great at keeping the energy up and reading the room to choose songs that people would enjoy, and he did some really fun mixes/transitions to keep recognizable songs interesting. We are nerdy people who mostly listen to podcasts, so we left the music entirely in his hands, and are thrilled with how well it worked out. He also nailed the timing for our processional, recessional, and first dance songs (we wanted them to start/end in specific places) and was really great about communicating what was going on to guests, which helped the evening run very smoothly. The dance floor lights were great and really made it feel like a party—definitely worth it to add on. Skip also was very efficient with setup and takedown, which was great given the limited window we had for setup at our venue. Communication leading up to the wedding was very clear and quick, and he was really fun and easy to work with. We highly recommend Skip for your wedding!

A Must-Have for Any Dance Floor

We hired Skip during the height of the pandemic, thus we didn't even get to meet him until our wedding day, but even before that, we knew he was the perfect choice. Not only had he worked at our venue before, but our coordinator was also singing his praises and rightfully so. I had a fear going into it that the dance floor would be depressingly empty (we come from a more sedentary group of friends and family) but Skip did the impossible and we had a good group of dancers on the floor the entire night.

Our wedding was on Halloween night and he did the perfect job blending in great dance music with thematically spooky songs as well. He took silly requests from our friends and was even able to procure an obscure song for the mother-son dance. He ensured the day had a healthy flow and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who has mastered the art.

Skip was amazing to work with. He was very responsive from the beginning even throughout our year long delay with COVID. Skip was amazing

We hired Skip a few months before our big day and he made the process leading up-to and the day-itself absolutely flawless. He was easy to work with, and knew exactly what kind of vibe we were going for. He also checked in a few times before and made sure to really know what our schedule was and what kind of wedding we wanted (he uses a super comprehensive worksheet). He is as a great a business owner as he is a DJ. His service was professional, easy, and affordable.

We gave Skip a pretty big list of songs in a Spotify playlist we were interested in playing and a found a way to use most (if not all) of them while adding his own unique selection and mixing (also he mixes live and really really does know his music and equipment, which is rare). One specific bright moment: We had messed up the scheduling of our first dance (of course we were running a bit late) and he quickly corrected before disaster struck in the smoothest most effortless way possible by cutting to another song until we were ready. He's a true pro. Highly recommend him for any wedding or special occasion.

The Best DJ!

DJ Skip was the best!! From the beginning, he was extremely responsive, and very helpful answering all our questions. Skip was perfect during the entire wedding. Skip recently DJ'd our wedding, and I can't say enough good things about our experience with him. Skip was flexible, communicative, and accommodating leading up to our wedding. The day of, he DJ'd a hell of a dance party - exactly what we wished for. We're grateful to him for generating that experience and expertly keeping the momentum going. Exactly what we wanted

We booked Headsmile for our wedding, and Skip did a fantastic job. A wedding DJ needs to be able to MC, manage the schedule, be on top of the wedding party's needs, and of course provide a great dance playlist, all without becoming the center of attention. Skip nailed it. He had everyone dancing from the end of dinner until the venue closed us down. Kept the dance floor full and the party swingin

My wife and I told our guests, ‘If you want to see us during the reception, you’ll have to find us on the dance floor.’ Finding a DJ was one of the most difficult tasks for us throughout the planning process, until we met Skip. His answers to our questions were always ‘Yes’ and ‘We can make it happen however you want.’ That level of calmness and appreciation for our music tastes shouldn’t be undersold – Skip let us put as many songs on our ‘must-play’ list as we wanted, while also taking charge when we said ‘DJ’s choice during social hour, with some cool 80’s power love ballads.’

Throughout the night we had people of all ages hitting the dance floor, exclaiming how fun the music was, and generally having a great time. Something I think is super important – Skip has the ability to re-invigorate a party. There will always be times at a wedding with cake cutting, or garter/bouquet toss when people want to take a breath of fresh air and the party starts to die down. Skip brought our party back to life and kept us dancing for 3+ hours all the way to the last song, and we couldn’t have been happier with his performance. Thanks Skip!

Excellent music and DJ services

We booked Skip/Headsmile Productions for a wedding - and highly recommend him! Great Experience with Skip!

Skip was not only an amazing DJ but also did a great job at MCing our reception. He helped everything run so smoothly and took care of all of the little things like organizing guests through the buffet line and reminding guests that we had provided flip flops for dancing. We loved the music that he played and he was able to keep our guests dancing all night! We added on a dance lights package which made the dance floor so fun! Our favorite part about Skip is that he doesn't just press play on a playlist but actually does his DJ performance live and adds his own flair to each song. We would definitely recommend Headsmile productions to any of our friends getting engaged!

Amazing- would definitely recommend

Skip was amazing! We told him we wanted a big dance party and he delivered. Our guests loved him, people were dancing all night and he was super personable and fun to work with. We also got the uplights, which I'm so glad we did because it added to the party vibe.
Our ceremony music was on point and each song started at the perfect time. From what I remember of the cocktail hour music (between running around talking to people), it was exactly what we asked for. I would absolutely recommend Skip to anyone!

Skip was an amazing DJ! I would highly recommend him for your wedding or any event. I gave him a list of songs and he did an amazing job of feeling out the crowd. We love Skip!

I spoke with several other vendors, but Skip's services and value suited our needs perfectly. Skip was friendly, easy to work with, and professional.

He's an incredible DJ, the dance floor was packed and lively the entire night. There were friends who I've seen typically sit during weddings join us on the dance floor!

Skip is also an experienced and skillful MC and worked with our coordinator to move the wedding along our schedule without a hitch.

We cannot rave enough about Skip and HeadSmile Productions! From the start we knew that Skip would be a perfect fit for our wedding. We were able to negotiate services within the means of our budget. He communicated with us frequently leading up to our big day, making sure he had all of the music we requested ready to go, to include all of the songs that accompanied each transition point in our ceremony. Most importantly, he is an LGBT friendly DJ with an open mind to make the ceremony as unique to the couple planning it. We gave him a general timeline and on our wedding day, he ran with it and expertly kept everything running smoothly ensuring we were worry free and could focus on socializing and enjoying our day. The reception was the highlight for sure. Skip read the crowd and our music tastes perfectly. Every guest was up, dancing and had a blast. Each song was better than the last one. After lots of research for our wedding DJ, I had to reach out to Headsmile Productions based on their reviews alone! I was so impressed by Skip's quick and clear communication with me and the cost he quoted me within my budget and that was including the 'extras' I wanted like lighting! Skip wasn't available on our wedding date, but Issac was. Issac and Skip were great with email communication, Issac meet me in person and had a whole music sheet breakdown to talk about what was important to us for our wedding. I loved working with them!
Overall, we were impressed with how affordable they were, had different packages--we got the dance floor and up lighting added (so worth it!), had two set ups so there was no down time between ceremony in one room to reception in the other room, quality speakers and mics, excellent communication, organized, and on time.
Issac did an incredible job of blending songs our guest requested, we requested, and what the energy of the dance floor was. He was calm under a few stressful moments (not caused by him!), quick to solve things that we threw his way last minute, good sense of humor, and he was wonderful with announcements throughout the evening.
We cannot say enough great things about working with them and how it added to our wedding day! Thank you Issac and Skip!

With a 'Day of the Dead'/Frida Kahlo themed 20th anniversary party, I don't think any other DJ but Skip would have been able to seamlessly blend latin and 80's new wave music together, mix live on legitimate turntables, take requests from guests and keep the dance floor alive. He was authentic, personable and able to translate the vision perfectly. If you're looking for someone to get your vibe, look no further.

Skip is amazing!! He was the only DJ I talked with that gave me the confidence to know he would help keep the party going, while still keeping everything on track. He listened to what we wanted out of the day and picked songs that had the dance floor constantly full. He even listened so much to what we were interested in that he surprised my husband and I with a Tom Petty song on the dance floor that was probably one of the more memorable moments of our night (as huge Petty fans, that was a really special moment!). He even helped edit our first dance song a bit to ensure it was a good length, and was always so responsive and patient to the thousands of questions I had. We couldn’t recommend Skip enough. He is so professional and talented at what he does – you’ll be sure to have a good wedding (or party, whatever you’re looking for a DJ for!) if Skip is involved.

We used Headsmile Productions for our September 2017 wedding and had an incredible experience. We worked with Skip, who was very responsive and helpful when we were first exploring DJ options. He had worked with our venue before so he was able to let us know which of items we needed him to bring, and which wouldn't be necessary. Price wise they were very reasonable as well. When it came to the actual wedding he provided the perfect soundtrack. Everything went flawlessly for the ceremony music, and he had everyone dancing the entire reception. He also did a great job of MCing, he kept everything flowing between announcing us to dinner, speeches, etc. and definitely hyped up the crowd during dancing. Our "90's frat party" reception vision was met and we had an amazing time. Was worth every dime!!!

Skip and his assistant, Dustin, were absolutely amazing...they made our wedding day that much more special and so much fun! Skip was very organized...and made things flow so seamlessly. He was skilled at communicating with us and making sure we were pleased. By the end of the night, the dance floor was on fire...he had so many of our guests dancing (that normally don't dance) and played such a great variety of songs (he also played everything I requested in advance) that got everyone up and moving....needless to say everyone wanted Skip and Dustin to stay all night! They know how to throw an amazing party!

Headsmile Productions (Skip) provided the DJ/MC service for our ceremony and reception. Prior to the wedding, we were impressed with his pre event packet that showed how organized and professional Skip is. It gave us a lot of confidence in his ability to manage the process. For the ceremony he had a wireless lapel microphone for the officiant, as well as extra wireless microphones for other speakers throughout the night. Our venue required some creativity on speaker and DJ booth placement, and he came up with a great plan to manage that. He acted as the MC throughout the night, starting at cocktail hour, and was a strong and clear communicator. He kept track of our timeline and kept us or our coordinator in the loop when needed (but definitely not too much). He played a great variety of songs, based on our recommendations and the crowd, and kept people dancing all night. Overall, we would highly recommend Headsmile Productions!

Our wedding reception was a total success because of Skip! When it came to the dance party, there was not a SINGLE person sitting down. Skip played all the songs we requested, but did it in such a way that kept the energy moving with the crowd. People did not want our wedding to end!! Skip was also an amazing person to work with! Due to some long speeches, we were running an hour behind schedule. Skip kept us totally calm about the whole situation and communicated with us about how we wanted to proceed. There was nothing to stress about…he had it completely under control! Skip was a great emcee as well! He took control and make sure the program flowed smoothly. Skip is the man!! So incredibly easy to work with, great value for his services, patient and so nice too! He and his assistant came out to our wedding on Whidbey Island. Did a great job providing music for our last minute outdoor wedding and inside reception. Skip did a phenomenal job as the DJ at our wedding! We are so pleased with his work on the wedding day as well as all of the communication leading up to the big day. Skip was very easy to get a hold of and responded very quickly to emails. He is very professional and personable and we loved that he used digital turntables and didn't just stand at the table with a computer pressing buttons. Skip kept the whole room dancing from the time the reception started until the very last minute - I never would have thought I could dance nonstop for 3 straight hours in a wedding dress but Skip works his magic and you don't want to stop dancing! He had great forms for us to fill out as we approached the wedding day, and I definitely heard specific songs I requested to be played during dinner, which I loved. He also acts as the MC and does a fantastic job. So many guests commented on how much fun he looked like he was having - what a rarity to find people who still enjoy what they do so much!

We highly recommend Headsmile Productions!! We used them for our wedding in February at SoDo Park. Not only are they affordable, they are great to work with too. Skip was very on top of things yet easy going. He is also very friendly. We met with him once to do introductions and months later we ran into him at a wedding we were at and he still remembered us. Additionally, he provided a detailed document outlining the flow of a wedding for music selection. This helped tremendously since there ended up being multiple areas of the ceremony and reception that we didn’t even think of selecting music for. The areas that we left blank he did an excellent job reading the crowd and selecting the music. He was great at getting people on the dance floor and keeping them there. We hired Skip for our wedding last month, and he was SO GREAT. After researching DJs/emcees and emailing with quite a few for pricing quotes, questions, etc., Skip was BY FAR the most helpful and comprehensive with his information. When we booked him, I felt like I knew exactly what I was getting and how much it would cost (no surprise charges, and his fees are super reasonable based on others I had reached out to). Once we booked him, Skip sent a planning document to inform our music on the day of, and it was SUPER comprehensive -- much appreciated for a type-A like me :). He gives you the creative freedom to make the music at your wedding exactly what you want -- either requesting specific songs, giving him an entire curated playlist or just picking a genre and letting him do the magic. The latter is what we did -- picked a genre each for pre-ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner, and he did an awesome job of picking great music for us (one less thing for me to have to do as part of the planning process!). On the day of, everything went incredibly seamlessly -- Skip kept the night on track and once the dance floor opened, kept if FULL the entire time. Skip also took requests from our guests which everyone really loved, and he mixed songs, transitions between songs, etc. so it was super evident to our guests that we had a professional DJ there (vs. someone who just skips track to track on a playlist). If I had to do it all over, I would hire Skip again!

What advice would I give to someone thinking of booking Skip.... BOOK HIM NOW!! From the get go my wife and I were impressed with Skip. At our first meeting he gave us this worksheet for our wedding that laid out how the day would go, man was that helpful. He responded to all of our emails the same day and was able to work in a lot of our own ideas with no trouble. And that was just leading up to the wedding. Wedding day came and it dumped like 2 feet of snow, needless to say we were worried he wouldn't be able to get there. But he assured us he'd get there and had everything set up before we could even start to get worried and he freaking killed it!! Throughout the night we made changes on the fly from our "plan", he handled all of them and had everyone on the dance floor all night long. We had multiple people come up to us and ask "Where'd you find this guy?" Can't thank him enough for all he did for us and creating the perfect atmosphere all night. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. DJ Headsmile (Skip) did a great job DJing my wedding. He was the DJ at my brother's wedding in the winter and I got his business card right away hoping to book him for my summer wedding. Both of our weddings contained a mixed crowd with a fair amount of people in their early 30s but a lot of people in their 50's and 60s (family). At my brother's wedding Skip was able to put together a mix of contemporary Christmas music for cocktail hour and at my wedding I was impressed with his ability to mix in country music and some older music to fit the crowd (as requested). Skip also played all of the songs on our request list and did some minor emceeing, introducing us and our spot light dances. It was hot in the indoor area of the reception so a lot of guests were mingling outside, where the music was also playing via speakers. Skip did a great job of keeping up and reading the crowd even though he couldn't see everyone and didn't have the motivation of seeing a crowd right in front of him on the dance floor. I know that at least one of our guests contacted Skip about their event.

Skip is proof positive that DJ's can really put your wedding over the top. After seeing DJ's crash and burn at some other weddings, I decided to see which DJ's in Seattle had the highest reviews on wedding wire. Skip was at the top of the list, and anyone who has worked with him can attest that he deserves his high praise. Skip responded to e-mails faster than anybody else we contacted in regards to our wedding, which was a huge help for somebody planning a wedding from out of state. Every single one of his e-mails were prompt, professional, and thorough. The booking process was totally seamless, and I felt comfortable asking any and all questions about the wedding day. Skip was also flexible to a unforeseen changes regarding the venue and wedding time. My processional music was lesser known Hawaiian song, and he had no issues finding it for us.

On the day of the wedding Skip absolutely crushed it! The number of compliments we got in regards to Skip were countless. He hit all the audio cues perfectly, including music cues that the bridal party added to their speeches on the day of. He is a great MC and tailored his announcements to the crowd and the atmosphere. The. Dancing. Never. Stopped. Everything he did was perfect, and he knows exactly how to work the crowd. Before the wedding we gave him a few songs that fit the feel we wanted and he kept everything in line with those songs. On the specific songs we did give him he gave shout outs to the people they were intended for, which made them feel special. Skip also did some mixing which the crowd loved, because it kept everything fun and fresh. One of the highlights of our wedding occurred after Skip played the last song and the entire crowd started chanting "one more song!" It felt amazing to know my friends and family didn't want the wedding to stop, and Skip was the main reason for that.

Skip Erickson was such an amazing DJ! We had the best experience with him DJ'ing our wedding! He was so professional and easy to work with, he ran the whole day for us telling our guests everything that was going on, keeping our guests entertained and informed of everything! We looked back at pictures and videos from our wedding while we were busy taking pictures our guests were having a blast on the dance floor! He was so flexible to any last minute changes, I would highly recommend him! He made our day more relaxing for us as he took care of our guests! DJ Skip was absolutely the most incredible DJ we could have hired. He was top-notch quality in the sense he knew what to play at all moments, had the most incredible questionnaire that was detailed so that every aspect of wedding and music was covered, and during the wedding he was a master at helping to move the reception along. He was so good, it was scary..for example, my friends and family would NOT LEAVE THE DANCE FLOOR. I invited about 180 people to the the wedding, and all the young and middle-aged people who stayed behind to dance were dancing their butts off until our venue closed at 10:30pm. In fact, I blame DJ Skip for giving our guests such a good time, that we forgot to take a bunch of group photos. I was so busy dancing and having fun because of his music that I forgot to go around and do what I was supposed to do. I heard from about 10 people that night who told me personally, "Wow, your DJ is really good, I can't believe he had the party going like that." It was unbelievable, DJ Skip from Headsmile Productions is probably the best vendor we hired, along with our caterer and venue location. Another special thing was that we requested he play some old-school 90's music like Backstreet and Spice Girls when the moment was right, he did this throughout the night, and it just made it. My sister who was the MOH was also talking to him throughout the night, and she told me that it was DJ Skip who kept everything timed well and smooth, and gave her good ideas for when things should happen, if they were not going exactly according to paper. I would hire DJ Skip again in a heartbeat for any occasion, but what I know for a fact is that my wedding would not have been the giant mega dance party that it was without DJ Skip. Oh, he was so perfect w/communication. He responded within the day, responded to every question that I had, and whenever I made changes to the questionnaire of his, he replied back, "No problem, got it!" & executed perfectly. U must hire DJ Skip

I have the pleasure of seeing Skip's skills in action on 2 occasions. Earlier this year, my (now wife) and I we're in the wedding party for one of our other friends and we were impressed with Skips skills, both as a DJ and an emcee. He was very good at making announcements, queuing up music for various moments of the evening (seating, processional, bridal walk, cocktail hour, etc) as well as his ability to keep the hits playing and the dance floor full. We immediately contacted him after our friends wedding and hired skip.

He is very easy to work with and really accommodating with our requests. He was also extremely flexible during our wedding because things always change and it can be stressful but Skip was able to roll with everything and even had a few suggestions that worked out very well. I highly recommend Skip and Headsmile Productions for your wedding, or any event that required a DJ or emcee. Thanks Skip!!

Skip is the best! And that is not just because he is a personal friend of the family; he keeps the music flowing from the background music during the cocktail and dinner hour, and inbetween emceeing announcements (which he was always right on whatever the next event of the evening), up to the time to have a blast on the dance floor! He also coordinated with the musician and soloist (my son and his girlfriend) for the first dance serenade of the couple (my daughter and son-in-law). We never had a time when there wasn't someone on the dance floor, and we had multiple guests tell us how much they enjoyed not only the wedding ceremony (at a church location), but also the fun time they had at the wedding reception; largely due to Skip's expertise as a DJ and emcee. Skip played all the requested songs from the worksheet provided and additional songs for all ages which was great! As the mother of the bride who helped with the planning, I found the communication and all the tools (worksheet, how to pay online as an option, etc.) so helpful and very professional. Skip provided us with a worksheet that covered all aspects of our wedding day and made it really easy to lay out what songs we wanted played and when. He got set up pretty quickly, the music was loud, and there was no dead air. My husband wanted the Game of Thrones theme song played for our intro during the reception, which we had not planned on, and Skip worked with us to get the song downloaded and ready to go. He did a fantastic job of playing songs that got our guests dancing and we kept hearing from our guests what an amazing job he was doing. He was definitely worth every penny and we will be recommending him to everyone

Skip was fantastic! He far exceeded every expectation we had. From the beginning when we reached out to Skip he was very quick to respond. He continued to be in constant contact with us throughout the process. Skip has an easy going personality which helped us during a very stressful time. He was so flexible and easy to work with. During our big day he was more than just our DJ. He helped make suggestions for different aspects of the reception that turned out to work perfectly. He did a fantastic job MC'ing our event and kept everyone engaged all evening. Our dance floor was full all night long and people kept telling us how much fun they had dancing. Skip was amazing. We planned our wedding from multiple states away, and never had the opportunity to meet Skip until the day-of. He was extremely helpful, professional, and responsive via email.

It's obvious HeadSmile can work with all different wedding styles. For our wedding, we wanted a dj that could take control and feel out the crowd to generate the best party. He did exactly that. Skip was an amazing MC/DJ for our wedding. Music is something that is very meaningful to us and knew we wanted a MC/DJ that would understand that. From the very beginning of meeting with him, we could see that he was very easy to talk to, very detailed oriented, and professional. During our wedding process Skip was very responsive with any questions we had. He was also quick to respond and offer suggestions to help make our day even better. We gave Skip very little direction with the music and he made it as though we picked every single song. We worked with DJ Isaac on our wedding, and he was absolutely spectacular. When my fiancé and I initially reached out to Headsmile, we were in sort of a panic about what kind of music we should play, because we don't really listen to a lot of the same stuff. When we met with Isaac, he had a lot of very smart questions that helped us realize a lot of music that we both like, that we had never even thought of discussing before.

When it came to the day-of, Isaac was there early, all set up, had custom-trimmed our processional music perfectly, and was a total champ at reading the vibe of our party. He played some songs that we hadn't requested but that was nonetheless totally perfect. I hadn't really intended to dance much, but at a certain point I couldn't even help it--he got us out of our seats. He also conspired with my husband on a surprise song for the two of us to dance to at the end of the night. He was an excellent MC and our party wouldn't have been nearly as much fun without him.

Oh and: the price was totally reasonable. Half of what I was quoted by other companies! Well worth it!

My husband and I hired Skip to DJ our wedding this past October. Our wedding planner recommended Skip as she has worked with him several times and said we would not be disappointed! We hired Skip as our DJ through a recommendation of one of my Bridesmaids and he was everything she described! He was basically one of the best parts of our wedding! Skip was super easy to work with, very communicative and even dealt with my last minute music requests! He played the perfect mix of music, there was not one song that I did not like!!! I cannot say enough about Skip being our DJ at our wedding, people have continued to rave about his play list, his general presence and how much fun they had on the dance floor...once the music started, I do not think I ever stopped dancing!!!
