Working with Marie is a dream! Marie made my bridal dreams come true with repurposing my mother’s wedding dress and creating the most beautiful hairpins to wear on my special day. My mom actually wore matching ones, as well! Marie is insanely talented and an absolute pleasure to work with. She is so detail-oriented and a total perfectionist in the best way ever. Thank you so much Marie for turning something old into something new for me, and for allowing me to recognize my mother on my wedding day in the most thoughtful way!

Mom's 80's Dress
Marie took my mother's wedding dress from the late 80's and turned it into a stunning veil for my wedding day. She explained every step of the process, and treated my mother's dress with such care and respect. You can tell by speaking with her that Marie has such a passion for her craft. Her ability to turn vintage heirlooms into modern pieces, while still respecting the original work, is magnificent. Would highly recommend to any bride interested in incorporating antique or vintage pieces into their wedding day. -

I reached out to Marie way later than I should have for a headpiece and veil to "upgrade" my grandmother's gown from 1963 that I would be wearing at my wedding. Not only did Marie help me with the items I came to her for (with an extremely busy schedule, shortened timeline, etc), she wildly exceeded my expectations and helped elevate my grandmother's dress in ways I couldn't have imagined. She has the best eye and skills to make your dreams a reality. I ended up doing a "first look" with my grandmother as she had not seen Marie's final creations and I have photos, memories and mementos to cherish for a lifetime thanks to Marie. -

I’m so happy to have found Headpiece.com. Marie was such a pleasure to work with. She is talented and very detailed with her custom designed veils and hair pieces.
Due to the COVID-19 virus I decided to postpone my fairytale wedding and have a intimate wedding with so much uncertainty.
Marie was truly there for me and all of her brides during this difficult time. Marie and I had a heart to heart moment in her shop and she gifted me with a veil for my intimate July wedding. It was the sweetest and kindest gift and I will always cherish that memory.

I am a former employee of Headpiece.com, which I worked under Marie for years and learned so much about weddings and creating custom pieces for brides. When it was my turn to wear a white dress, I did not hesitate when thinking of where I was going to get my bridal accessories. My wedding date is 10/9/20 and I got my custom veils, headpieces, earrings and even garter from Marie. It was so amazing to be on the other side of the counter and have a personalized appointment where I was the focus. Marie takes appointments with her brides very seriously and helps you envision what you want to look like on your big day. When COVID made us postpone our original large reception, Marie came to the rescue and helped me come up with a second look for our small ceremony still to take place 10/9/2020. She helped me understand that I wasn't the only bride going through this and to look on the bright side of things - now I can have two different bridal looks on two different days! With only deciding to postpone our original plans a month out from the date, Marie didn't hesitate to help me come up with a second vision in order to help me still feel like a bride. Now, I have a total of 3 veils (2 for one day, one for the other), earrings for both days and a headpieces. The quality of product and service offered by Headpiece.com is unmatched and I will only recommend to this shop to brides for bridal accessories. If you can think it, Marie can do it! You will not be disappointed! -

From the first day I met Marie, I knew she was going to put her whole heart into the pieces she designed for me. As a bride whose wedding was postponed several times due to COVID-19, it meant the world to me to have a vendor who was there for me every step of the way. While I didn't get to showcase my headpiece as planned, due to a much smaller and more casual wedding, Marie made me pieces that could be worn together or separate, allowing me to still have a part of my original plan still with me. Marie is not only a talented artist, but she is truly a wonderful person. Can't recommend her enough to brides who want a unique and special headpiece for their day! -

Marie did a beautiful job reconstructing my mom’s veil from the 80s. She took the veil off of an old crown and created and long veil getting as much length as possible. She cut a beautiful shape creating such a weightless look. I was so happy with the final product and it was wonderful to carry a piece of my mom. -

All of the pieces that she has in her shop are incredibly beautiful and there is something for everyone. Marie spent about an hour and a half with me, trying different pieces on me, and helping to figure out what it was that I really wanted to wear for my wedding day. We ended up creating a custom piece. I have only had an initial consult with Marie but just from that first meeting, it is so apparent how dedicated she is to her work and how much she truly enjoys what she does. I am excited to continue working with her on my piece for my wedding! -

Cristina Sent on 06/30/2018Marie the owner takes her time with you and gives you the complete bridal experience! Although she makes beautiful customized pieces, I went when she had a truck show. She placed each piece on my head and we took the time to go over what I liked from each one until I found the one I loved! She also doesn't stop there, she said when the piece comes in she will bend it and add extra clips if needed to make sure it fits perfectly! We are also purchasing my godson's christening outfit from her. She personally measured him and helped decide on what size to purchase. Beautiful silk outfits! Don't hesitate to give this place a look! -

I have been looking like a maniac for a headpiece that matched my grandmother's art-deco jewelry set that I will be wearing on the day of my wedding. I was originally looking for a completely custom piece (WHICH THE PIECES SHE MAKES ARE AMAZING!!!!) but she happened to have a trunk show when I came in and she had a piece that I LOVED. She is able to make custom adjustments to make my headpiece more special for my big day. I love Marie, and I honestly can not wait to work with her in the future (PS she makes beautiful baptism and communion pieces!!) -
Ashley Sent on 12/19/2017Oh my gosh, if I could give 100 stars for Marie and headpiece.com I WOULD! I am your typical high-expectation Jersey girl. I NEEDED the most perfect baptism dress and accessories for my baby girl. I searched for months and suddenly realized I was a week away from the baptism and still had nothing. Well somehow I lucked out and fate (also the internet) led me to Marie and her amazing shop. I walked into her store and instantly fell in love (and also kicked myself that I already had my wedding!) From the baptism dresses for both boys and girls, newborn coming home outfits, beautifully detailed accessories, to bridal anything and everything, this store is above and beyond. If that's not enough.... Marie is absolutely amazing, knowledgeable (she is a designer herself), and incredibly accommodating. She went above and beyond for us to make sure we had everything perfect and ready for my baby's baptism that weekend! When I find vendors and people I have a great experience with, I just have to tell it to the world. I can not say enough great things about my experience!

She went above and beyond to find the perfect accessories for me even in the mist of working with so many other brides including her own daughter. Her designs are unique and her passion for bridal veils and accessories is magnetic. I would recommend any bride to go to her not only for custom veils also because of the bridal experience.

They had the beautiful, soft lace that I wanted and so much more. Marie also helped me design an amazing custom headpiece to accompany it. She made me feel so special and offered the perfect balance between artistic expertise and attention to detail with respect of my own style and ideas. She is simply the best!

Marie worked miracles with my mother’s/grandmother’s headpiece. Not only did she modernize it to go perfectly with my dress but she kept the same pattern and look of the old crown. She also used extra pieces to make a small headpiece for my sister to wear as my maid of honor and when it comes time for her wedding we will swap! Marie is very caring about her clients and will listen and execute any idea you give her! I had no issues trusting her with this priceless heirloom and undertaking its revival. -

Statement piece for wedding day
Marie created a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, statement headpiece for my June 2021 wedding. Before my consultation, Marie asked me to send her pictures of my wedding dress. At the consultation, the first headpiece Marie showed me I fell in love with. She shared a few other options, but I felt that first option really checked every box that I was looking for – sparkles, pearls, unique design, soft and fitted to my head, and a thin accent piece. Not to mention she included functional loops for the hairstylist to clip without ruining the piece. Moreover, she recommended a cathedral length veil which I absolutely loved the day of. The headpiece and veil really pulled my whole look together, not only giving me that wow-factor I was looking for, but also made me feel as special, unique, and beautiful as the pieces were themselves. I recommend Marie and her creative talents to any bride that is looking for one-of-a-kind jewelry on their wedding day. -
