Most perfect day!

We used Janice and Davis for our wedding photography and video. They were such joy to work with prior to our wedding, day of, and after our wedding. They were always so easy to get in contact with and answered any questions we had in a very timely manner. The day of they made it so easy and made us so comfortable! We were so overwhelmed with excitement when we received our images back! They captured our day in the most perfect way, and we are so thankful to have them to look back on. Thank you guys!!!

Best photographers ever!!

Janice and Davis did an absolutely amazing job as our wedding photographers! They were so professional, kind, and easy to work with from start to finish. The photos came out so beautiful — they truly captured all the special moments in the most perfect way. We were also so impressed with how fast the turnaround time was — we received our photos much quicker than expected! We’re so grateful to have these memories to look back on forever. Incredible Value, with Amazing Speed

My wife and I used Head Over Heels Photography for our wedding photos in January 2023. They were excellent and we had a great experience. Most of my experience was with Davis specifically (though with emails it can be difficult to say for certain as they often go under one signature). To give a high level of what my experience with them was:

* I reached out in May I believe of 2022. This part was the hardest to remember as it was so long ago. We received the standard four-hour package, and it was a great deal. We were promptly sent the invoices/contract and gave very high-level details of where and when the event was.

* We were actually a bit nervous about cancelations generally and a few weeks before the wedding we had decided to just check to make sure everything was still good to go. Davis followed up within 24 hours and mentioned we're still in good shape and that the outreach for the structure from his side usually happens a week before the wedding, to mitigate the risk of any changes but that he was happy to get started.

* He sent us a listing of the family photos we wanted and was completely receptive to any changes we wished to make (and there were several).

* On the day of the wedding, he came on time and ready, was completely professional, was willing to introduce himself to everyone and got the process rolling on his own. He provided us with direction on what photos were standard but took extras that we wanted specifically as well.

*After the ceremony when we were taking pictures, he remembered who most of the people I introduced were and even ran around and grabbed some of them for us in the photo. He helped us pose for these photos and kept the process moving.

* After the cake cutting he asked if there was anything else we would like photographed and left. We weren't looking for more than a couple hours of his time and were clear about this and so we were happy to get a couple more photos and wrap things up.

* One of the highlights to me was that we were happy with everything full stop right there, but he and Janice (I'm not really sure how they split responsibilities with editing) were able to get our photos out to us within a single week. We were shocked and delighted to be able to view these during our actual honeymoon which is an insane turnaround.

Really, there's nothing I would change, and I wish them both the best. They are a perfect choice for a low stress team who knows what they're doing and has clearly done this a thousand times.

Highly recommend

Janice and Davis were so wonderful to work with. Janice was very responsive to all my random questions. On my wedding day, both of them did a great job coordinating various pictures, rounding up families for photos, and keeping us on schedule with the timeline of events for the day. Both of them have so much patience and you can tell they really love what they do. My teaser pictures looked amazing and I can't wait to see the full catalog!

I can’t stop looking at my pictures!

Amazing pictures were at the top of my must have list for our big day! Janice and Davis captured my sister’s wedding in 2017 and from the moment we got engaged, I knew I wanted them to be apart of our day! Not only are they professional, responsive, and take the most beautiful photos, they also catered to our needs throughout the day. My husband and I unfortunately got food poisoning the day before our wedding and I was feeling very unwell during our photos. Not only did they give me the breaks I needed and adjusted the order of shots, but Janice also helped keep everything moving quickly so I could have the pictures I dreamed of! When Davis showed us some proofs of what they were capturing, you’d never even guess we were ill! I cannot thank them enough for helping us capture all the special moments of our day!

Best photography duo in Tampa!

Janice and Davis were the perfect photography duo for our wedding last week! They were so easy to work with leading up to the event, very organized and communicative. Davis was our photographer on the day and we couldn't have asked for someone with better energy and professionalism to capture our day. We had very limited time to get photos after our ceremony due to sunset and Davis was so well prepared that we got all of our desired shots with time to spare. He was flexible for last minute changes and requests. As someone who is not very comfortable in front of the camera and who could not do an engagement shoot as practice (due to being out of state), Davis gave just the right amount of direction and suggestions. We received sneak peeks a few days after our wedding and they are so beautiful we are so excited to see the full gallery. Would 100% recommend these fantastic photographers, you will not regret it!

Hire them!

Janice and Davis are absolutely amazing! I narrowed down the companies based on a specific photography style I envisioned - check out their veil sunset pictures and you will see what I mean. I knew the type of personality (warm and bubbly) I was looking for as well and after speaking to Janice on the phone I knew her and Davis are who I wanted to go with. They kept in touch with me throughout the planning stages and went out of their way to meet up with us when we were home for a few days in Florida (we live out of state currently). Janice had formed a timeline for us and kept in close communication just before the wedding. On wedding day they made the process as stress free as it could be and were very organized and helped direct people where they needed to be. Even our wedding DJ said we had the best photographers in the business! We have received our "teasers" back so far as our wedding was a few weeks ago and they have blown us away! They were absolutely a joy to work with and we look forward to working with them when we come back to Florida! Thank you Janice and Davis could not recommend you both enough!

Stunning photos

The service we received for our daughter's wedding photography was excellent from the moment with we first contacted Janice and Dave from Head Over Heels Photography. They spent time answering all of our questions before the big day, gave helpful suggestions and worked with us to have the details lined up before the wedding day. The service at the wedding and reception was professional and Dave was even able to capture our very large family in a single shot for a requested family photo. They were a pleasure to work with. The wedding photos are stunning with many creative shots. Our only problem is deciding which of the 500 plus photos to print in our wedding book.

They are great!

So we booked with them for our wedding day going off of reviews on the Knot app! They were great with communication! They had a game plan for our day which was very simple but gave my family an idea of how the day would flow! They were on time and immediately got to work! I had all my stuff ready in one place for them like they asked! They captured all the photos that we wanted for our big day and then some!! If we go back to Florida we would highly book them for family photos!! Love their work and promptness during this busy wedding season!!

Love my pictures

We used Head Over Heels Photo. Davis and Janice made all my Pinterest ideas come true! I couldn’t be more in love with my pictures! They captured exactly what I wanted and some more. We worked together on the timeline and even stay a little longer which I was very appreciative for. A must have for me was having a full length video of our ceremony and the speeches at the reception instead of a quick recap video. They accommodated my request and the video is something we will treasure for forever!

Amazing photos

Janice and Davis are amazing. I expected to get nice pictures, but we received pictures that honestly blew us away. It was ironic because the original photos we received were the unedited pictures, but their photography skills are so amazing that we thought they WERE edited! When we received the edited pictures we were in awe. They are worth every single penny and then some. I would not hesitate to book Janice and Davis again, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to everyone.

If you want a photographer that will take great pictures AND make you feel completely at ease, they are definitely for you!

Best decision we made!

Wow! I can't recommend Head Over Heels enough! I was lucky enough to get married right before coronavirus, but let me tell you why I would trust Davis and Janice in a post-COVID world. First, they are simply calming and helpful people to be around. I can't tell you how many times my venue told me that there were X number of brides ahead of me and I would have to wait to talk about some question I had. In those moments of frustration, Davis was a breath of fresh hair. He and Janice always made me feel like I was the only bride they were working with and they were a huge help in setting my mind at ease over the logistics of the day. They had a plan for every scenario and that is important now more than ever. Second, and what you've been waiting for, the pictures are GORGEOUS! They got every shot and I couldn't be happier. I used them for both photo and video and I have no idea how they got all that video plus photos at every angle without me even noticing they were there. I know they are offering the streaming service now and based on my video quality I would definitely recommend it. Whether you are waiting for the large wedding, or going forward with the small one now, book Head Over Heels now! Those portraits with your husband/wife will make your day and they live forever!

Outstanding Customer Service & Amazing People!

We chose Head Over Heels Photography to photograph our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice! Not only were our pictures beautiful but Davis and Janice were so friendly and personable the day of our wedding. They were so fun and interactive with our wedding party and guests, especially the little kids. I never had to worry they weren’t going to get the photos we wanted. They blended in with our guests and made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. We were able to view our wedding photos in a very timely manner following our wedding and received our completed wedding album quickly as well. Absolutely amazing!

Words cannot express how happy we are with our decision to work with Head Over Heel’s Photography! Our photographs by far surpassed our expectations!! The Best of the Best!

Head Over Heels is seriously, undoubtedly THE BEST of the BEST! They are the sweetest photographers and it was like I've known them all my life. They made us and our family VERY comfortable and everyone had the biggest smiles. I love how they would call the parents "mom" or "dad", or brothers "brother" it was too cute! They definitely knows how to angle people and when and where to get the shots. I appreciated they also would help with the chuckles to get authentic smiles. The day of the wedding they created a family list and was very good about knowing which shots to get, who to get in the photos, etc. I was a very “I’m not sure" type of mother of the bride, and I'm grateful she had a plan and experience to tell me what her must have shots were and she asked for our input. They were also very willing to work with us if there were any specific shots we wanted. My husband and I are forever grateful and have also used them for family photos. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely incredible!!!

Wow... it’s hard to find the words to express how absolutely incredible Head Over Heels Photography is! We really wanted candid photos and they captured just that. We could tell, getting our pictures back, that each one was so cared for. We had Janice and Davis photograph our wedding day! They were the absolute best people to have around. They added to the love and were so easy and comfortable. I think of Janice and Davis as a friend now and LOVE to see them at at other friends wedding! They are so fun and BEYOND talented. We were so over the moon for our images.. I have had so many people tell me they are blown away by our photographer and what they captured... and so are we!! Beyond Expectations!

Head Over Heels, Janice and Davis is as fabulous as their reputation! My cousins were married three years ago in Hawaii and Head Over Heels did their photos --- it takes quite a bit to impress me but I will say I was over the top VERY impressed. My husband and I were married a month ago, and we made sure to book Janice and Davis well in advance. We just received our photos and I was in tears! Everyone who has seen them has had the same reaction ---- they were gorgeous. I am absolutely glad that I had them as my photographer for both my engagement photos and wedding day. Just Perfect :)

We hired Davis from Head Over Heels Photography for our outdoor wedding, and the photos are absolutely amazing! From start to finish, he was professional and personable. He captured everything we were looking for and then some! Excellent communication leading up to the wedding, too. During the ceremony especially, he captured so many photos of all the different moments, from different distances and angels, in super stealth mode! We didn't even see him coming/going/moving around. Couldn't be happier!

Davis did an amazing job. We booked him for six hours so that he could take pictures of us getting ready as well as be present for the entirety of the reception. We definitely made the right decision in booking him. He skillfully guided us when taking photographs that required a bit of posing, but also took real-time, natural photos as the ceremony and reception progressed. He was kind and very professional, as well as having some good jokes to help with the nerves before the ceremony started. Most impressively, he managed to get a six-month-old infant to smile during a family photo. Within 24 hours of our wedding, Davis emailed us some "teaser" photographs. These seven or eight pictures were absolutely amazing, and we cannot wait to get the rest. We know that they are going to be just as amazing. Davis truly does great work and we were incredibly fortunate to have chosen him to capture our special day.

From the first time I reached out until the moment they left my wedding there was nothing but support and professionalism from this duo. After initial discussions they knew exactly what to shoot, when and how and still left time to be flexible during the actual ceremony and reception to capture what we wanted. All delivered with a calming sense that greatly helped in a hectic day of potential chaos. We've already received a several professionally produced 'teaser' photos that look absolutely amazing and we can't wait to see the rest. This crew is simply the best!

What a wondeful husband and wife team

Janice & Davis were just a wonderful team to work with to help capture our family/engagement photos first, but caught so many amazing moments from our wedding day! I couldn't be more thrilled and happy have had them as our photographers! They were recommended from a dear friend of mine and I'm so glad it worked out! I would love to use them again for any future special memories we will want to capture and highly recommend!

My wife and I give Davis and Janice FIVE-STARS!!! As everyone knows, choosing a photographer for your special day is very difficult! After calling around getting several quotes from vendors, Davis stood out to me the most. From the very first phone call we had, he made me feel very comfortable. He was very personable and seemed to understand how important it was for my wife and I to capture all the important moments on our special day. We liked that Head Over Heels offered several different packages and that we were able to get exactly what we were looking for in a packaged deal. We met Davis about 10 months before the wedding for him to capture our Engagement photos. We were very pleased with the images taken. It was important for us to include our puppy son, Morgan, in our engagement session and wedding. Davis was all for having him join both events. He was very patient with us as we got Morgan situated in position and was very good with grabbing his attention to capture the best photos. We first met Janice the day of the wedding and absolutely loved her! She was so sweet and treated the day as if it was her very own. We ran into a stressful time at one point in the day due to rain on the horizon, and my wife told me she was just as concerned as we were and helped to talk her through a tough decision about our ceremony. Every encounter we had with Janice that day, she was always positive and very helpful no matter the task at hand. She knew what important shots we wanted to capture that day and made it happen! Both Davis and Janice were truly amazing to work with and we would highly recommend them. Several of our guests shared with us, after the wedding, some of their thoughts. They complimented on how friendly our photographer were. Their hard work was noticed by all and we were delighted with the outcome. If there was one thing we could have done differently, I think we would have hired them a little longer, maybe one more hour. All in all they were wonderful!!!

Janice and Davis were awesome to work with! They were very professional and knew what pictures to take. They even printed some and put them into the frame during the reception which was very thoughtful! It was so nice to have some wedding pictures right away. I would highly recommend Head Over Heels Photography.

I could write about Janice & Davis for extended periods of time (oh & I will!) but let me start with straight & to the point. If you are looking for a duo to capture all of your best (& maybe vulnerable) moments, customer service at the forefront of their operation, & the images you expect to receive on your wedding day, then Davis & Janice will far exceed your expectations.

Maybe it was just our group but according to the other 50 or so 5-star reviews, it appears that David & Janice are just a dynamic duo that can fit into any group. From the husband’s standpoint, I felt at ease with their directions. Davis even stepped in & educated me on the random black buttons I could use because I was wearing a bow tie! I swear I don't lack is class!

Davis & Janice fit right into our wedding party as if they were friends & family. They kept a great pace with the photos & ensured we had plenty of time to party.

The one thing I asked of my photographer was to capture the natural shots. Many of us men really put up this macho barrier sometimes but when you see your beautiful wife walking down that isle for the first time & everyone in the wedding party stand to their feet, it's a moment that only a camera can capture & they did it. It's a day that flew by in a second but these pictures will continue to remind me forever just how lucky I was to be there that day. The camera doesn't lie & neither do the reviews for this couple.

I considered myself a hobby photographer before I met these 2. I clearly have a lot to learn from what imagery they produced. Photography is a competitive scene so it's rare to hear another photographer admit that someone is better. I have to give credit where credit is due. I was overly happy with their product.

Thank you, Davis & Janice. We will be sure to highly recommend you to all of our friends for their (hopefully) future weddings!

Davis and is wife did the photography for our wedding December 1st. and they were amazing, They also performed our engagement photos and since we have a 3yr old it was a little trying at times. But Davis was wonderful and made it a point to include her in everything. They even go as far as printing some photos at the reception and posted them for all of our guest to see and that made my heart happy. I really couldn't have asked for a better couple to do our photos for us. I will definitely use them in the future for family photos. Absolutely AMAZING. Thank you so much for all you did and not only were you our photographers but became friends after this as well. You really made my day so special while capturing so many special moments.

We hired Head Over Heels photography for our wedding that was March 2. booking with Davis was the best decision I made! I looked at a handful of photographers in the area all online (destination wedding) and none of them were what I was looking for until I found Davis! He made everything very easy and was helpful in answering any questions I had. The day of went perfectly and he knew exactly what kind of pictures I would want in my wedding album. Looking at all the pictures now I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Davis gave us two versions of most of the pictures and that is awesome because I love seeing them natural and in black and white or edited. All of our family is in love with how they turned out. Absolutely beautiful pictures, highly recommend booking with this company! They are professional and helpful in every way possible. My husband is in the military and Davis worked with us on if there was a change in the deployment (thankfully there wasn't) but it is hard to find a company who is willing to be flexible with a date change and they were and I was so thankful for that. Thank you to this company for helping us capture all the beautiful moments from our wedding day!!

These guys rock! Your wedding photos are so important - they're one of the few tangible parts of your wedding day that remain - face it, you're gonna box up the dress, the flowers are just a memory, that cake layer in the freezer 'might' get eaten - in a year - and if you have video, you'll look at it, but the PHOTOGRAPHS get posted to your phone, to Facebook, shared with friends, relatives - they're seen all the time!). It's critical to get a photographer that can capture your day, who understands your vibe. Book Head Over Heels! They were awesome -- Davis and Janice were awesome - when we remembered they were there! Other than the formal shots, which were done quickly, so the bridal party could get back to the party, they were not obvious but the photos, oh, the photos! They were not obtrusive, came early, stayed late, were friendly as could be (but more importantly, so good at what they do) and as other reviews have said, got all the shots for things you didn't even know were going on, until you see the pictures. He gave us some of the photos within a day - and they were great....but when you get all of them (and there are hundreds) you realize that the teasers were just the appetizer, and the whole day was the feast. So many great pictures- we want them all. Davis was very responsive - answered emails within hours (if even that), and called and spoke to bride and groom, mother of the bride, in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure that any questions were answered (even what I know now to be, yes, the stupid ones), and made us feel like we were the only clients planning a wedding. These guys are the real deal. So happy that we found them through Wedding Wire. They made us feel very comfortable, like we were friends, rather than just customers. It was fun and it was easy -- friends have since booked them since for their wedding. Do yourself a favor - Head Over Heels -- one of the easiest decisions ever.

FIVE+ STARS! Davis and Janice are such a wonderful team and was a delight to work with Davis on our special day! He was personable, organized, professional and easy to be around - especially for ten hours! He made everyone feel comfortable with his warm personality and truly is an expert! Two days after our wedding, as our cruise ship was about to disembark, Davis emailed us about 25 “teaser photos”. We were completely shocked and thrilled to start our honeymoon off with his gorgeous pictures. We cannot thank Davis enough for truly capturing the most special moments of the best day of our life.

Wow. Booking Head Over Heels was one of the best decisions I have made in the entire wedding process. These guys deserve 100 stars, because 5 are not enough. Davis and his wife Janice were sooooo amazing, professional, kind and easy to work with. I was so happy with them being there. and being part of our wedding.
I love my pictures and everyone has given us so many compliments on them. Unlike other horror stories I have heard from my bride friends, where they waited 6-7 month to get their pictures, I did not have to wait long at all to receive mine.
Originally I had only booked Davis for our big day, but I wanted to have more photos from different angles and started panicking. Davis gave me his professional opinion, but never tried to sell me on anything or persuade me in any direction. That showed me that he really cared about me, my day and my budget and not only his income and business.
He truly wanted me to be comfortable and happy. Thankfully we were able to hire Janice as a second photographer and it was the best decision I could have made. So worth it having both there. They work really well together and make the experience very comfortable. The pictures are stunning and the price is very reasonable.
I would recommend them 100%, you will not be disappointed!

Davis and Janice were nothing less than professional from the moment we requested a quote to the moment we said our good byes when our time was up on our wedding day! They captured moments I didn't believe anyone could get (unless it was an actual wedding photo shoot). We look back at the hundreds and hundreds of pictures from our big day and still can't believe that was OUR wedding! It's straight from a magazine! The lighting, angle, and poses were always perfect and very natural! Davis answered all my emails and phone calls/texts in a more than timely manor! He would even get back to you right before or after shooting another event! Janice was excellent at making sure everyone was smiling and more importantly keeping everyone moving in a timely but fun manor. They're the perfect duo and were everything and more I expected from a photography company! I would recommend them to anyone for any event! Just send them a simple request! You will not regret it! The only thing we regret was not taking a photo with them!! That's okay we definitely plan on using them again in the future!

Davis was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend Head Over Heels for your wedding! We ended up planning our wedding in less than 6 weeks which is crazy. Davis had an opening and we took it and I’m very glad we did. He was quick to respond, patient, extremely professional, and my entire family loved him! Davis was on time, very creative, and he has a great personality. We got married on the beach where having an experienced photographer is important for correct lighting, etc. The photos were absolutely beautiful and he captured our special day just perfectly. We got teaser shots within days and the final pictures were better than we ever expected. Book him, you won’t be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Head Over Heels Photography should be your first choice for capturing moments from your wedding day. From the moment the photographers arrived (and they arrived early - huge plus), they got to work. They didn't waste any time, they explained their plan of action and captured the most beautiful pictures and awesome moments from our wedding. Prior to your actual wedding day, they ask you if there are any specific pictures you would like for them to capture so take a look at Pinterest to get some ideas but I guarantee that they will capture moments that you would not have imagined on your own. What is also impressive is their creativity and attention to detail. Moreover, you don't notice them when they're taking pictures. My bridal party, family, and friends have all stated at one point or another that they didn't even see/notice the photographers when they were taking our pictures.

Since a videographer was not in our budget, having a large amount of still photos was a must for us and Head Over Heels Photography exceeded our expectations. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I have looked at our wedding pictures and smiled and laughed about the memories of our special day.

Davis and Janice were absolutely fantastic to work with. Janice had an eagle eye for the smallest details which people don't normally think about - cell phones in pockets, hair ties on the wrist, etc. The two of them together make such a great team. My wedding was a few months ago, I hired Davis a year in advance the whole process and planning went so smoothly!! Davis was very easy to get ahold of and responded back very quickly. Unfortunately it rained during my ceremony and with an outdoor wedding I was afraid my pictures wouldn't come out as I hoped. But my ceremony pictures came out great you would never know there was a Florida rain storm in the background and better then that he captured the best sunset pictures I could of imagine. I booked Head Over Heels Photography almost a year in advance for my wedding, and I'm so glad I chose them! Davis was always super responsive to my emails in the lead up to the wedding and very helpful when I had questions about timings. I spoke to him a few times before the wedding day and he is just so friendly, which is another reason why I chose to hire him :) On the day of the wedding he arrived early and immediately went to work with taking pictures. He was very good at directing my husband and I and our bridal party. We received our pictures this week, and all I can say is WOW!! We absolutely love them. Davis did an incredible job, our shots are all really natural and the lighting is just superb. I can't tell you how impressed I was Janice and Davis! They were so professional and friendly, quickly making me feel at ease, making the most of our time, and directing me when I needed prompts. They did such and amazing job from organizing our families for the group pictures ( and making sure all the kids were smiling) to talking us through how to pose to get the best results for our couple shots. They got so many candid shots which is what I love the most and made sure all of our guest were included in pictures throughout the reception. The pictures came out so beautifully and with so little effort on our part. I would absolutely recommend Head Over Heels photography to any bride!

Choosing the right vendor for your wedding can be stressful and time consuming, but choosing Head Over Heels was easy. As soon as we met Davis we felt confident that he would be reliable, professional, and take excellent photos and we were absolutely right. Every part of working with Head Over Heels was enjoyable. From getting tips on the time frame, where to take photos, and what specific package to get, Davis was super helpful and accommodating. On the day of the wedding he and his wife did a great job helping facilitate the flow of taking photos. They made sure to take all the photos we would want but at the same time we were able to enjoy our wedding and didn't feel like we were being bothered too much having to take photos. It was actually surprising how many great photos they got without us even realizing we were having our pictures taken. Davis made sure to use photos for the album that we wanted, but at the same time he added more in and made the album like a story instead of just slapping random photos in. It was better than I could have anticipated. He sent a rough draft of the album and was extremely accommodating and patient with all the last minute requests that I had to add or remove photos. My wedding guests were also impressed with their photos and their professionalism. The pricing for Head Over Heels is definitely fair and worth it. I honestly cannot think of one thing I would change about at the experience I had with Head Over Heels and I would encourage any bride to save herself a lot of time and frustration by choosing them right away.

I would highly recommend Head Over Heels Photography! They were our favorite wedding vendor. They did an amazing job on our photos. They also helped our wedding day run smooth and stress free. They know what they are doing, when they need to get certain photos done, are very organized and work well as a team. Janice knew I was worried about my veil and my dress scrunching so she went out of her way to take my veil in and out as needed and always unscrunch my dress before photos! Little things like that make a huge difference on your wedding day! My husband and I spoke with many photographers at all different price ranges and we are so happy with the choice we made. You won't have any issues with these wonderful photographers!

We had the best experience with Davis and Janice for both our engagement photo session as well as our wedding day photography. They are both very professional, friendly, personable, and makes you feel very comfortable while taking pictures. They give great direction to capture the best shots and are very accommodating to requests. They really care about making your engagement/wedding pictures what you want them to be and giving you the best overall experience. Their main focus is making your wedding the highlight and you feel special. Our pictures turned out so great and we are extremely satisfied and happy with how they turned out. We were pleasantly surprised that they printed a handful of pictures from the ceremony and the day of getting ready for the event and presented them on our gift/sign in table. Davis and Janis were absolutely amazing! The photographer was the most important vendor to my husband, and as he has done some wedding photography he was extremely picky. Head over Heels met all his desires and were super easy to work with. We had a unique theme which many vendors gave us strange looks for, but not Davis and Janis, they fully embraced the theme and even encouraged it. The day of they were on time, professional, and helpful in making sure everyone's appearance was spot on. I was super nervous about posing for the shots, but Davis and Janis made it effortless and I did not feel self conscious at all in front of the camera. In the middle of the reception they even surprised us with a gift! We have gotten more compliments on our photos than anything else. In fact there are so many amazing ones we are having a hard time deciding which to put on our thank you cards. My mouth literally dropped open and I yelled out "wow" when I saw some of them. We couldn't be happier and will not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.

I just got married 2 week ago, so I have to wait for my edited wedding photos. However, I already received (the day after the wedding) a dozen teasers that look spectacular. My now husband and I were so happy to have Davis at our wedding. He is truly a talented photographer who captured very nice shots of us as a couple and great pictures with our families. We hardly can't wait what else he has in store for us once we get all the wedding pictures.

I chose Head Over Heels Photography based on other reviews and after checking out the photography work by Davis and Janice. I liked that they are a married couple working as an independent photography company and trusted them with my most cherished moments. I learned that they photographed weddings in Hawaii for many years, and that was a good sign. They are really good at working to get pictures with the best natural light, if available.

Wow where do we even begin! We are beyond thankful to have chosen Head Over Heels Photography to capture our big day!! From the moment we met Davis, we hit it off and knew they were the perfect choice. We immediately felt so comfortable and could see the great passion they had for their work. The engagement shoot we had before the wedding couldn't have went better! Davis got soo many amazing shots and the pictures were breathtaking. For our wedding, Davis and Janice went above & beyond (as we knew they would!) and surprised us with wedding pictures they had just taken earlier displayed at the reception already!! It was such a nice surprise and wedding guests loved it too! The pictures we have seen so far have been absolutely amazing!! Their organization made taking family pictures and wedding party pictures seamless. We had an hour between the ceremony/reception and the sky did not look too well in the distance at the time. Davis and Janice immediately had us go out to get beach pictures in case we could not get sunset pictures later in the evening. Luckily it didn't wind up raining but we were so thankful that they had our best interest in mind. Of all the wedding day worries, we had not a single worry about our photography. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with our wedding photography. We have received so many compliments from our families, wedding parties and wedding guests about how amazing Davis and Janice were. They are the most down to earth couple and we are so lucky to have had the privilege to work with them! We are truly going to miss them!!

Davis & Janice are a husband wife pair and were absolutely AMAZING. We fell in love with them when we did our engagement photo shoot 9 months prior to our wedding. They went above and beyond to take the most creative and special photos. Helping with any and all needs. Davis was always in contact and never left us in the dark. The week before our wedding we e-mailed back and forth and knew exactly what was going on. Come wedding day we could not wait. Everything was just perfect. Janice and Davis kept everyone on track and really put so much thought into each detail and shot. They even surprised us with edited images on display at the wedding. I was absolutely shocked and I really cannot say enough about this wonderful couple. They truly are one of a kind and all about their client!! I cannot wait to work with then in the future. I am still in awe and in LOVE with our 600+ photos. Definitely check Head Over Heels out. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Head Over Heels Photo did such an amazing job as our wedding photographers! Working with them from our engagement shoot to our September wedding was a true pleasure. My Maid of Honor and I met Head Over Heels at a bridal expo, and we were impressed by their extraordinary photos. We also liked their great husband-wife dynamic and their positive energy. My husband and I took a chance booking them without a referral, but I am so thankful we did!

Throughout the planning process, Davis was happy to answer any questions we had and sort out any details for the day of. They thought of everything before we did. Because of their experience, they had the ability to improvise and could work with any challenges that arose on the day of the wedding; and they had to! We had unforeseen delays, and if it hadn't been for their quick thinking and creativity we would have had a very limited set of natural light and outdoor photos. Instead we have a vast collection that captures our day (and none of the delay) perfectly. They were organized and not at all intrusive. This made everyone comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera.

We love our photos and are so thrilled to be able to relive all the special moments. Thank you so much, Janice and Davis, for your hard work and dedication! Our pictures came out stunning, and we will forever treasure them!

DAVIS IS THE BEST! He is seriously an elite photographer and person!! Once I looked at his work, i wasn't concerned a bit about how my photos would turn out!! His pictures are everything and he is very much accommodating and patient in every way needed! We received teasers two days after the wedding and he was so pleasant to work with! My wedding was in SWFL (Naples) and I hope this review expands his business from Tampa/St.Pete! He is that good!! Would recommend his services to anyone!! I can't wait to see the album!!! A++++++ !!!

Davis and Janice were so easy to work with, I cannot say enough about their services! I'm SO pleased with my wedding pictures, and even more impressed with the quick turnaround time. The day of the wedding was wonderful- Janice was my go-to girl with extra bobby pins on hand. She even pinned in my veil. After the ceremony, the weather decided to downpour, and they had to come up with a Plan B for our group pictures. Without skipping a beat, they found a perfect spot and we stayed on schedule (which is so important!).

Wow, Wow, Wow!!! I am beyond happy with my photos!! Davis is a very talented photographer! His personality is easy going for the couple and the wedding party, but very take control when needed (and you will need it!) with being polite. Ladies your family and friends will try and pull you in a million directions. Davis will keep them contained till you get all the pictures you need. He was so great! He emailed me a week ahead to remind me to send any pictures or ideas I had, so he could plan ahead of time and get me the poses and people I wanted. I had a lot of props and special requests and even with our sunset timeline we got them all done. I hope he can add some for you to see. If you are doing a beach wedding or sunset wedding, he is so great with light. At the end of your day you will want to know where the time went, but your memories he captures will replay your whole day. His equipment is impressive too! We joked about his "belt" and their prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Head Over Heels photography, you wont be disappointed....you will be amazed and in love with your photos!!! Head Over Heels Photography was amazing! Davis has incredible talent, great equipment and a wonderful personality! So easy to work with. He emailed me about a week before the wedding to have me send him any poses or photo opportunities that were important to us. He is so nice, but definitely takes control of the moments when you are working with limited time on lighting (like sunset) and keeps everyone from bombarding you for their own selfies (LOL), this is a great personality feature to have ladies. Don't over look it! People will be pulling you left and right. Last but not least, his pricing is more than fair for the beautiful pictures you will get back. I would highly recommend Davis. He has a lot of experience with sunset wedding photos. His wife is also a photographer and you can hire them both, but I had to work within my own budget and I don't feel as if I got shorted at all. My pictures are STUNNING and creative!!! Thank you Davis!

We chose Head Over Heels photography for our wedding and are very happy with the results. The pictures they took of our wedding were gorgeous. We had so many compliments. We were surprised with a collage of framed pictures of the ceremony at the reception. It was nice being able to have pictures of the wedding right away. They are reasonably priced photographers and do a wonderful job.

Janice and Davis were sensational from start to finish!!! Not only did they take unbelievable pictures (on the beach before and after the wedding, sunset shots and all the other pictures that documented our children's day) - they were accommodating, fun to work with and so incredibly professional. The pictures they took were devastatingly, full of emotion....it took 6 hrs. to choose 45 pictures to display at the reception back home. We can't say enough about this talented couple. You will be so excited with your pictures.....everyone raved about ours!!! Thank you both for making our memories last!!

We could not have been more pleased with Head Over Heels Photography. Both our engagement and wedding photos were more than we ever could have imagined. From day one Janice and Davis made us feel so comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them. They were organized, professional, quick to respond and always on time. On our wedding day we were able to take so many great photos and were still able to spend time with our guests. They understood when it was time to give us a break and were sure to check with us to make sure we were not overwhelmed at any time.
They always went above and beyond but when they surprised us with several printed and framed wedding photos during our wedding we were speechless. Having the ability to see a few photos while the day was still going on brought tears to our eyes and definitely left us anxiously awaiting to see them all. Nobody had ever seen a photographer do something so sweet and all of our guests were blown away.
We cannot express enough how pleased we were with Janice and Davis. There is not one thing we would change and we will definitely be using them for all future photography needs.

We just got our wedding photos back and all I can say is WOW! Davis was absolutely amazing to work with and captured our day perfectly! Every single photo is so stunning that it's going to be tough to choose which ones to print!

Davis was so easy to work with through the entire process and even sent us a full wedding shoot he had done previously so we could see the kinds of shots he typically gets. I was blown away that a photographer was willing to send an entire shoot rather than just the best photos of the day as well as the quality of the photos he took of that wedding! I knew that he was the perfect fit for our big day. He was really quick to answer emails, phone calls, and text messages and is an overall really down to earth guy who I would recommend 100%! He was also really great about working with our wedding party who started adding shots to his list but he didn't mind at all!

These are the most amazing photographers you will find! Super quick with responses, understanding when I couldn't make up my mind, flexible when I made last minute time changes, willing to go to multiple locations, very reasonably priced, super friendly, beyond professional... All that and more! Our photos were gorgeous, better than I could have imagined. They captured the perfect shots, when we didn't even realize they were taking them, to get all the special moments, not just the important ones. Like magic, they had a few sneak peek photos for us within hours and final turn around time was way faster than I expected. I was so incredibly blessed to have found Head Over Heels Photography! I met Janice at a bridal expo in Tampa and fell in love with their pictures! We had two meetings before the wedding to discuss what pictures I would like taken, and email exchanges with examples. They were scheduled for 8 hours and showed up early to get started. We started at my in laws house for preparation photos and first looks before moving to the venue for bridal party and family photos. They worked so well with everyone in my family and bridal party! They lead us through the pictures with ease and gave great ideas for photo ops, while keeping us on time. They captured so many little moments that I didn’t get to see during my hectic day and am so happy I am able to look back at my day and see every detail. During the reception they surprised us with already printed photos from the ceremony, and everyone went crazy over them! We had never seen that done before. They left shortly after the dancing started but we were able to get a few great dance party shots. It has been a month since our ceremony and we have already received the thumb drive with all of our pictures!!! I am so in love and obsessed with them! I have already recommended them to a girl I know getting married this year in the area. You will not be disappointed with Davis and Janice!!!!!

Davis & Janice are a great husband & wife team! We met Janice at a local bridal show. They have different packages and pricing available, allowing us to pick the best option for our wedding. They not only did our wedding photos but an engagement shoot. Super flexible style, they blended right in during our wedding. Janice was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was extremely professional and responsive from the first phone call I set up to discuss my wedding until we received our pictures and the turnaround time was quick!! She does a great mix of traditional photos and more artsy not staged photos, which I prefer. Don't hesitate on hiring Head Over Heals for your big day, as they will not disappoint and will capture your special moments in ways you couldn't imagine!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Head Over Heels Photography!! Finding Davis and Janice was one of the best things that happened during my wedding planning process. They take some of the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen! They do things with lighting and different angles that a lot of other photographers don't always take the time to do. Davis and Janice took our engagement photos for us. We cannot say enough good things about Head Over Heels photography. They were beyond flexible with what date/time worked (and was ideal) for us. They maintain professionalism yet make you feel like you are taking pictures with your best friends. We were so happy with every detail and love how they did their research on the area that we were taking the pictures at. Some of our favorite pictures are the ones they had an eye for on a random wall or street! We would recommend them to anyone and can't wait to use them for our wedding!

Pandemic Nightmare

In my opinion, my fiancé and I received the worst customer service we have EVER experienced, along with an unwillingness to reach a mutually beneficial resolution when we were forced to cancel our May 2020 wedding due to COVID19.
