Heather and HD Entertainment provided DJ and lighting services for our daughter's wedding in September in State College, PA. Heather was so easy to work with from the onset - professional, courteous, respectful of the bride and groom's wishes. She provided services for both the ceremony and reception. She was organized and ensured that the day was on schedule and fun. She kept the dance floor full and gave us happy memories of the special day. Highly recommend Heather and HD Entertainment. -

Wow! A definite standout DJ service!!
Wow!! A stand out company from the start!! Looking no further for a DJ service for our wedding vow renewal event, we immediately booked Heather and HD Entertainment! We were very impressed with the level of professional experience, the personal confirmation phone call from Heather, and ease of booking and signing the contract online. We especially appreciated the detailed event timeline sheet to fill out! We loved her suggestions and ideas for a flawless transition from cocktail hour to ceremony then onto the dancing! It was so perfect!! Our guests loved the music selections and actually celebrated on the dance floor with us. They're still talking about how they had such a great time. Please don't hesitate to book with HD Entertainment if you're looking for a professional DJ service for your event. -

You guys are the best!
I know our wedding was a hot mess and to be honest, I was hesitant at the price point originally. That was until our consult call and I realized that your team did so much that you where basically the day of coordinator as well. I think you all are awesome. Would definitely recommend
Heather Laughman of HD Entertainment, LLC is the perfect DJ to hire to keep your event organized and your party rockin all night long! With our wedding reception starting 20 minutes late (our fault not hers), she got our schedule back on track, was still able to do all of the things we wanted to do, and then kept the party going the whole way through to our last dance. Having her MC, make announcements throughout dinner, and keeping everyone informed at all times made everything run so smoothly during the must have items of the night. She took our music do and don't play list very seriously, found songs we wanted before the day of if she didn't previously own them, played songs by Austin Rife Music throughout the night to keep the moment personal to us, and worked with us to help make our Introductions unique fun and like nothing I've seen others do before. She created the most beautiful monogram for over our dance floor, and then to top it all off the red uplighting just fully transformed our wedding venue.
We are so glad Heather joined us for our special day and would highly recommend you check her out for your next party, wedding, or corporate event! -

Thank You to HD Entertainment for providing and trying to keep us on time and providing awesome music for the crowd to dance to. She was a full service coordinator in trying to keep us on time and keep things moving while not letting the crowd get restless. We didn't use a few of their services because we had a family friend that could provide those to us, but it was nice to know they existed, had we needed them. Such as a fog machine for our first dance, or special lighting throughout the evening. Heather was amazing and I highly recommend her.
She also came to the venue a few weeks before, to make sure we put her in the right area, as I had never put together a wedding and she was extremely helpful in helping to set everything up.
She also provided the microphones so that our family and friends could hear our vows.

Look for a locally owned business before looking elsewhere. Family owned businesses depend on you and they give such personal touches to your event or special day!! Local Local Local!!! -

My husband and I used HD Entertainment for our wedding and they were professional, timely, and reasonably priced. Our DJ worked closely with us to help select a music list that was highly personal to us. The music selection our DJ came up with made the night special and awesome! I would highly recommend them. -

I'm so happy we went with HD Entertainment for our wedding! Leading up to the wedding, they were so easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions. During the wedding, our DJ Maggie was AMAZING! She was the perfect emcee and DJ, playing the right combination of music we agreed to ahead of time and music that fit the mood. With HD Entertainment and Maggie leading the reception, I knew I didn’t have to worry about a thing. -

My wife and I went looking for a Dj and the only ones that responded to us was HD Entertainment. They responded to us within a few hours. From the start Heather the owner answered all the questions, especially when I get the need to ask if they were LGBTQ friendly which they are!!! 😁 After the first phone interview my wife and I knew that they were the ones for us! We put the deposit down for them. From there Heather answered questions for me that weren’t even Dj related but were wedding driven. I finally met them I. Person at the Central Pa wedding show. There was an instant connection between Maggie and Heather the owner and us. I like that they ask who you prefer to work your event. We ended up with Maggie and ended up having a blast. She constantly kept checking on us and making sure our guests and us were taken care of. If you want a Dj that will treat you like family this is the DJ for you, because these women go above and beyond for their brides, work countless hours, and give more attention to detail than anyone I know. -

I highly recommend HD Entertainment! We hired them for our wedding on October 23rd and we couldn't have chosen a better DJ! They helped walk us through the planning process with atleast 3 scheduled zoom calls. At the wedding their DJ's were interactive, and open to last minute changes. You guys helped bring everything together and we couldn't thank you enough. -

We worked with Heather at HD Entertainment for our wedding and she was the absolute best!!!!
We looked at multiple DJ companies and HD was price competitive, super responsive, willing to travel, and so warm & welcoming that is was a no brainer to hire them.
Heather did not disappoint we felt so confident with her help and guidance during the lead up to the event, it was such a relief.
And the day of? Perfection! She did our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and the reception. I have no idea how one woman could do so much but it was flawless. And the night was capped off with over 2 hours of solid dance music. We had a guests ages 2-70 all on the dance floor living their best lives.

Heather was amazing! Throughout the entire planning process, she was super helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We loved how customizable our song list could be & Heather helped us hash out the details to make sure we had the songs we wanted and ones that pumped the crowd up. We had a lot of special requests for songs and types of music & she was fantastic at accommodating those wishes. She was also super organized and on the ball, which really put our minds at ease. She did a fantastic job at our wedding & kept the party going! Absolutely recommend going with HD Entertainment for your special day! -

Heather was waaaaayyy more than just a DJ. As clueless wedding planners, my husband and I relied on Heather's expertise for not just our setlist, but things like our wedding day timeline. She was a lifesaver. And aside from a few go-to songs (which were obscure, and she absolutely had), she helped us fill in the blanks. People were on our dance floor all night long, and I could not be happier. We seriously had a conga line going at one point. People had a blast.
She also kept our ceremony sound running smoothly, despite what could have been some pretty big setbacks.
Absolutely could not recommend Heather enough. She not only provides excellent service, but genuinely cares what you as a couple want, and wants to make that happen for you. -

I went to a bridal show where I encountered a lot of DJs, some of which were actually very unpleasant to talk to, so meeting Heather and HD Entertainment was truly a breath of fresh air. I was so thrilled they were available for our day, because there was nobody else I wanted to work with. They were friendly and personable, but also so professional and truly on top of their stuff. I loved their concept, and their all female team!
They made the planning and execution of my wedding so easy, and they understood what I wanted for the day of so quickly. It felt like a perfect fit. They provided advice when I needed it, helped us nail the perfect timeline of events, and made sure all the songs we wanted were included. We had a request for our wedding COVID-19 considerations where they would announce hand washing /sanitizing every hour so we could encourage folks to sanitize their hands, and stay safe. They were so accommodating to our request, and I was so appreciative of that.
100% would recommend to anyone planning a wedding.

We had the pleasure of working with Heather for our wedding in October 2020. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with her and HD Entertainment as a business. We initially were set to be married in late April (peak of COVID season) and had to delay our reception until October. Heather and her team were easy to work with, flexible, and communicated proactively. We felt prepared going into our event and Heather talked us through introductions, order of events, etc. My husband and I both felt secure in her moving us through the progression of the night and her organization was amazing! 1000% recommend to anyone looking for an affordable, well-organized, kick ass DJ! -

Easy communication, great pricing, all around easy to work with! We gave HD Entertainment free reign of pre-ceremony and dinner music. They did a great job, again making my life easier with one less decision to make. Choosing the music for the rest of the evening was made easy with their itinerary my husband and I filled out. The dance music was everything we wanted and our guests had the best time. All emails were returned in a very timely manner! They even reached out (multiple times) to see if we needed anything and to make sure our wedding day would go on without a hitch due to Covid. We were so thankful for the professional, easy, and all around great experience with HD Entertainment! -

We loved having HD Entertainment at our wedding! COVID reduced the size of our event (only 14 people!) so we considered just doing a playlist from our phones but this was SO much better! Heather was so communicative and on top of everything! At the end of the night Heather even asked if we wanted to hear anything again, which was so thoughtful! We especially loved the fact that this was a DJ company with an all female team!! We were specifically looking for something like this and are so glad we found them! -

From the moment we booked with Heather, until our last song of the wedding night, Heather was so sweet and easy to work with! She made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted and that the wedding day would be stress free for us on her end! The music flowed beautifully for the ceremony and everyone had a blast at the reception! The playlist was a perfect mix for all ages and kept everyone up and dancing and having a great time! Heather was the DJ for my best friends wedding and was such a joy to work with start to finish. She's very competitively and reasonably priced, works closely with you to make sure payment is met at reasonable price and rate for you and that your overall experience from pre-day of is as perfect as it can be. We had such a blast and danced the night away, I'm so grateful we had Heather and could trust that she was handling everything on that end for us. Such a relief! She also has lighting and photo booth packages (which we also utilized) and are so happy we did! Again, just so easy to work with, responsive and helpful. 10/10 recommend! -

The Lodges at Gettysburg recommended HD Entertainment. Heather agreed to meet with us at the Gettysburg Hotel for a meeting and we were instantly impressed by her. She caught onto our Disney theme quickly and she didn't bat an eye at any of our strange song suggestions. She actually had a lot of ideas for songs too. We were torn between HD and another DJ company. The other DJ company offered a fog machine service- when I brought this up to Heather, she came back saying that they had just purchased a fog machine and could provide that service too. Well, that sealed the deal. Their small survey gave us the knowledge to accurately plan their wedding and that last phone call two weeks before the wedding was great to really establish what we were looking for on the day of. She was open to any suggestions and we could text her at any time with ideas which we took advantage.
The day of, she was able to keep the party going and everyone had a great time. The day of she threw in uplighting for free! She was even able to keep a surprise dance for my husband. Everything wouldn't have been as beautiful as it was without Heather. She kept the party going! I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Thank you so much guys! -

We hired HD Entertainment for our wedding in September 2018 and Heather was our DJ. She was AMAZING! As soon as my husband and I found HD Entertainment and read other couples’ reviews, we knew they were the DJs for us. We were looking for someone who would energize our crowd and make announcements throughout the evening, but not be overwhelming in their energy level and make the wedding feel like a club scene. Heather was outstanding because she read the crowd and knew exactly what to play. Many of our guests commented on how great the music selection was and how many of our guests were dancing the entire night. Heather even had numerous traditional Jewish wedding dancing songs beyond the one that we had requested, and those were definitely the highlight of the evening. In addition to the dance music, Heather was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and helped us to find the exact versions of the songs we wanted to use for our processional and as background music for a special vocal performance by a family member. Heather flawlessly executed the whole day’s music, even with a last-minute decision to not have the vocal performance. The music she played was exactly to our tastes and perfectly fit with the feeling of our wedding. Our wedding day was perfect and so much fun for us and for our guests, and we owe it in large part to the outstanding job of Heather and HD Entertainment. Thank you so much Heather! -
Kevin Sent on 09/06/2018Maggie from HD Entertainment was beyond awesome. Everyone loved her from the kids to parents to grand parents - she was such a hit! So much so that Sarina and I have both received messages throughout this week saying how awesome the DJ was and asking for information for future events. The dance floor was pretty much packed from the end of dinner (before dinner was even officially over lol) until the last song of the night. She just kept rocking fan favorite after fan favorite all night long - could not have done any better! Thanks so much!

She always reminded me to reach out and never hold back any questions. We had a consultation, a phone consultation and a night before phone call was made to me by my DJ just to be sure everything was in place. There was no doubt with Heather! Out of all the things I had to worry about, HD Entertainment was not one of them! I highly recommend HD Entertainment!
