A dream venue
From our first tour when Hazelwood was still in construction (like I don't think it even had walls!), Adam and Kate were able to show us their vision for Hazelwood and convey the experience they wanted to be able to provide for their couples and guests. When looking for our venue, we were looking for somewhere that my husband and I could both get ready on site but not see each other, somewhere that had indoor and outdoor ceremony options, non-exclusive catering, and included furniture. Hazelwood checked all of those boxes! We had the most perfect wedding day at Hazelwood and would not have changed a thing. Kate and Adam are so supportive and responsive to emails, and SO easy to work with! One of the best decisions of wedding planning was booking Hazelwood. -

Full disclosure…I am a wedding DJ. I DJ 20-40 weddings a year. I was asked by a close friend to travel from my home in Boston down to PA to DJ a wedding at Hazlewood. I have worked with hundreds of vendors and venues of the past few years. I can easily say that Hazlewood is one of the best best out there. Kate and Adam the owners went out of their way the day of for all guests! They treated guests and vendors like family. Hazlewood was professional but personable. As a wedding DJ who does many events and has been in the business for over 15 years I can easily say that this venue is one in a million. You should stop reading this review, get on the phone and book them today! -

Our experience with Hazelwood was nothing but amazing. When we had met with one of the owners, Kate, at our venue tour, we knew right away that this was the place for us. The place itself was gorgeous!!! It was our dream venue with stunning views, natural lighting and so many options with our ceremony and reception. But what made the experience even more special was our interaction with every person on their team, and the vendors that they recommended.
Throughout the planning process, we were always in communication and never felt like a bother. Our questions, requests, and concerns were taken care of, always being done in a timely manner. Living out of state, we were worried that it’d be difficult to plan being so far away but they really made the process so simple.
Our day went by so seamlessly and it was all because of their incredible team, and their relationship with Blake event planning, who was another integral part of our day. Our vision of a calm, relaxing day that was intimate and ours was brought to life. It really was everything we wanted it to be, and they made sure that we didn’t have to worry about anything. Because of that we were able to stay present and in the moment.
Have your wedding at Hazelwood, and know that you can take all of the stress out of planning your special day, knowing you’re in good hands. They really provide high quality work with the kindest, most patient team members and vendors. You won’t regret having your wedding here! -

A Magical Wedding Day
Our wedding was in October 2021 at Hazelwood Weddings, and it was an absolute magical day. I had researched countless venues during the planning process, and I ended up discovering this venue through Instagram. The owners were still in the process of building at the time, but one of the reasons we ended up choosing them is because of the vision they shared through photos. It made our decision so easy! Kate and Adam’s kindness and enthusiasm for our wedding ideas during the initial venue tour made us as a couple feel so special.
Since the beginning of booking, Kate and Adam were extremely responsive. Any questions we had about the venue/policies were answered quickly and efficiently. They’re very transparent which I love!
The venue itself is gorgeous. I had plenty of guests tell me how much they loved it, too! Our ceremony was held outside, along with cocktail hour under the veranda, and the main reception inside with stunning high ceilings and farm tables (we chose to go with the long ones). It’s truly a modern, yet timeless venue which allows for any and all color schemes to blend beautifully. And everything is in one location which is convenient for everyone.
One of my absolute favorite moments was my husband and I sharing our last dance together alone inside their reception area. I’ll remember that moment forever!
We will continue to recommend Hazelwood Weddings because it’s worth every penny. Thank you so much, Kate, Adam and River for making our wedding day so special! -

Our experience at Hazelwood was absolutely amazing! Kate and Adam were so kind and incredibly responsive to all of our questions. From our very first tour with Kate, we felt that they genuinely cared about making our wedding day perfect. The property itself is gorgeous and modern, which made it so easy for our vision to come to life.
Working with our Day-of Coordinator, Brandi from Blake Events, was also wonderful. She was incredibly supportive as we planned and coordinated all of the details, and I didn’t have to worry about setting up a single thing—which was amazing. Brandi kept the entire day organized, allowing me to be fully present and enjoy every moment without stress. She truly understood our vision for the day and brought it to life. Our venue rep, Katie, ensured we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived, and we felt completely supported throughout the entire day.
Our wedding day turned out even better than we imagined, and we are so grateful to the entire Hazelwood team and Blake Events for making it all happen. -

An Exceptional Venue!
We are so grateful that we were able to have our special day at Hazelwood Weddings. So many of our guests were in awe of the modern venue, even people who did not attend the wedding but saw pictures commented on how gorgeous it is. Kate & Adam were very patient and caring when emailing back and forth about our wedding. They were willing to work with us on various things we had asked because they wanted our day to be stress-free. They truly care about their couples and want to ensure they have a great experience while at Hazelwood. It’s great that they offer services from Taryn Blake Events for wedding planning and a wedding coordinator. It was a relief to be able to talk with our wedding coordinator throughout the planning process and meet with her for our walk-through at the venue. It gave us peace of mind knowing that she understood what we wanted out of our day and knew the venue well so that our day would go smoothly. Hazelwood was able to accommodate our many guests but I believe their max is around 150; if this fits your guest list I definitely recommend scheduling a meeting with Kate & Adam and checking out Hazelwood. I’m certain that you’ll fall in love with this beautiful venue. -

My husband and I got married at Hazelwood July 2022 and the whole day was absolutely beautiful! We were drawn to Hazelwood because we were looking for a modern venue in central PA that was not a barn and would allow us to choose our own caterer. From start to finish our experience with them was amazing! The venue owners, Kate & Adam, were so kind helpful. Between the website and their Instagram page we had almost every question answered and every detail we needed before even stepping foot on the property! It’s obvious that Kate & Adam really care about providing couples with the best experience possible, and they keep adding more amazing and creative features. Between Kate and the planner Deb, we didn’t have to worry about a thing the day of and were able to enjoy everything! They took care of every detail and were flexible and accommodating to us and our families. The space was absolutely beautiful inside and outside. Our guests loved the fire pit and were very complimentary of the entire experience. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day and we would highly recommend Hazelwood to anyone looking for a venue! -

We found Hazelwood while googling venues near me and it wasn’t even finished construction yet. But we knew just by the atmosphere and having met Kate and Adam that this was a one of a kind place. After a year and half we got married there on Sept 10, 2022 and everything about the day was perfect. They provide a wedding day coordinator which was a god send and Kate is there the entire day. The team was so on top of everything. Even if something went wrong I wouldn’t have known. With all the furniture included, 2 prep suites, the arch, the special decor wall, the couch set up, and wxtta decor table all included, this price cannot be beat. Hazelwood was the perfect venue which was the main reason our day was so perfect. -

Worth every penny! I would choose Hazelwood over and over again as our venue. It provided the perfect greenery backdrop I wanted for our photos, paired with an effortless and stress-free experience from start to finish. The spaces are not only beautiful but thoughtfully designed, and the level of care and attention to detail from the team is truly unmatched. I can’t recommend Hazelwood enough!
We were won over by Kate (venue owner) and that Hazelwood comes with a Blake events planner (starting at 90 days) and day of coordinator (throughout the day of).
Our wedding day was everything we imagined it would be and more due to the work put in by the Hazelwood and Blake events team. We didn't have to worry about a thing and relaxed all day getting ready (our dream experience!). Deb (Blake planner) had everything under control and even had a purse with emergency items for any and all needs (crochet hook for bustles included). Throughout our day, we had a couple of Hazelwood coordinators assigned that answered all of our questions and took care of everything. Katie was so sweet and handled everything so professionally. Thank you, Hazelwood, for making our day everything we dreamed of! -

Working with Adam and Kate from Hazelwood was the best decision we could have made for our wedding! The space itself is stunning and exactly the style we were looking for with the vision we had for our day - it deserves 5 stars on its own. They have put care and intention into every decision about the space which is so very clear when you see it. What made our wedding day joyful and stress-free, (not to mention the planning and preparation for the wedding) was the support and communication from Adam and Kate and their partnership with Taryn Blake Events (we worked with Deb!). Adam and Kate were incredibly responsive, professional, transparent, and helpful, even offering to help with things day of if we didn’t have someone to take care of it. Our wedding day was everything we could have asked for and more. It was an amazing feeling to know that they were on top of everything through the process and on our day so we could relax and truly focus on getting married and having the best time! If you are considering Hazelwood, you will love the venue and their team—you will not be disappointed! -

Hazelwood was the wedding venue of our dreams! We inquired with 30-40 venues across three states and ended up touring six. We fell in love with Hazelwood from the moment we drove up despite it being a dusty dirt road, unpainted, without fixtures installed and pretty much just the floor and walls (August 2020). Kate and Adam took us on a tour of the still under construction space and shared their mood board to illustrate just how amazing Hazelwood was going to be. We could sense their vision and it matched exactly what we were looking for. Choosing Hazelwood to host our August 2021 wedding was the easiest decision we made while wedding planning. The all inclusive and transparent price, a naturally beautiful space, no additional add-ons required, the sweetest venue owners who truly care about their couples and have your vendors’ best interest in mind were just a few of the selling points.
Throughout it all, Kate and Adam were such gracious hosts answering my lengthy emails, making sure we had all the information and tools we needed to have a stress-free day, and providing top-notch service. I could go on and on about how amazing Hazelwood is, but you really should go see it for yourself. Hazelwood is an absolutely stunning venue with the kindest owners and you will want to get married here over and over again after the wonderful experience they provide from the very first inquiry to the final goodbyes at the end of the night and beyond. It was an honor being one of the first couples to be married at Hazelwood and we wish all future couples the best wedding day ever!
