Absolutely perfect!

The Chapel at Hawk Hollow is the most amazing place to get married. Not only is it beautiful, but the event staff are so welcoming and wonderful. We first met with Jennifer for our tour and she made sure we have our ceremony and schedule reserved. Tracy met with us for our rehearsal and walked us though the entire wedding day of process. She was so kind and sweet and was very helpful the day of our ceremony. She helped with guest, the musicians, the photographer and much more. She was there for the entire process and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. I would highly recommend this beautiful chapel for your wedding day!

We loved our wedding at Hawk Hollow's Chapel and Lakeview room for the reception. Carla, Naomi, Hillary, and all other staff we saw were a pleasure to work with. They provide so much on-site and provide rental items for reasonable prices. Their food is amazing and so was the cake! Their great communication made the day go so smoothly, and they were always sure to answer all my questions. Thank you all so much!

Loved our experience there!! Very laid back but also very good at what they do. Was able to customize drinks and tablecloths. Food was amazing and got compliments all night long. Chapel was beautiful without decorating. Can't say enough about it!!!

Our wedding ceremony was at Eagle Eye and our reception was at Hawk Hollow. Both locations were absolutely gorgeous. Hawk Hollow did the catering for our reception and the food was absolutely delicious. We had SO many things to choose from as far as food was concerned, it was definitely a hard decision. We picked 4 different meals to try at the food tasting and it was so great being able to try all of the food before deciding (it was a very hard decision bc everything was SO good!!!). Our cake was also done by Naomie Batterbee at Hawk Hollow, and she did a FABULOUS job. Our cake was exactly what I wanted and it was TO DIE FOR. I would definitely suggest the red velvet to anyone, so yummy!!! The Options for the bar were great as well. They have options for every budget, and were willing to add or subtract different things from each option. Our over all experience with this venue was a 10 out of 10. Everything went perfectly and the staff was so great and very helpful and i would definitely recommend anyone in the East lansing area!!

I worked with Carla to plan the wedding in the Chapel and the Hillside Room. She was extremely responsive to all of my emails. I was out of state while planning and she was so helpful with details and making suggestions about simple things like how to hang lights. She was also very kind to my in-laws who came to taste food as my proxy. The room was beautiful and the staff seemed very professional. Patience, the Chapel coordinator was wonderful as well! The room was set up perfectly and the food was excellent. As a vegetarian, I can't speak to the beef tips or cordon bleu we ordered for guests, but I got a lot of compliments on the dishes. I also loved my vegetarian lasagna (and I generally dislike lasagna). Guests also loved the balcony overlooking the water and sunset! It is a communal area, so other receptions have balcony space, but no one seemed to mind overlapping and even made new friends. Overall, it is a beautiful space for a wedding and ceremony!

We had our reception in the Hillside room at Eagle Eye. Our reception was wonderful! What I thought was great about Eagle Eye was there were so many options for food and the bar. You could have a wedding at Eagle Eye on any budget. It’s also a beautiful location. I love that my guests could go out on the deck and see the sunset. I heard nothing but good things from my guest too. They loved the food and the room. Everything went as planned and I had no issues with them. I would definitely recommended Eagle Eye or Hawk Hollow to everyone. From all my research, it was definitely the place to have a wedding in the Lansing area. It works on all budgets, all the windows give you the feel of being outside without having to deal with bad weather, the rooms were elegant but neutral enough so you can decorate however you would like (no having to worry about clashing colors from ugly carpet or wall paint), the food was good and there are many options.

Our wedding at Hawk Hollow was absolutely wonderful. We didn't have to worry about anything, as they were very attentive to all the details - they take care of everything! No having to work with 10 different vendors. The staff was extremely friendly - from the coordinator to the waitstaff. I also thought it was a great value for such a beautiful venue and such delicious food. I have many friends who paid much more for much less at their weddings. I really appreciated the flexibility and kindness of everyone I worked with, and how beautiful and clean they keep the chapel and the banquet rooms. In addition, the landscaping is very beautiful. No complaints!

Getting married at the Chapel at Hawk Hollow was so beautiful. We have had so many people tell us how beautiful our ceremony was there. Additonally, our reception at the Eagle Eye Lakepoint Room was beautiful and ran smoothly from start to finish! We can't thank the staff there enough for all of their help throughout the process. It was truly the best weekend!

LOVED LOVED LOVED working with Hawk Hollow. We had both our wedding and reception here and they were amazing. We had to switch dates, switch rooms, and make several changes and they were very accommodating!

Everyone raved about the food provided by Hawk Hollow. They allow you to taste it beforehand, but I am long distance so they let me send friends. The planner is great - we exchanged about 80 e-mails by the end of it. Everything looked lovely. Our Sunday wedding was a great value.

I had my wedding reception at Eagle Eye in 2008, and our wedding day was nothing less than perfect. The food was amazing, the staff was incredibly professional and polite, and Carla was a pleasure to work with. She was always so fast to respond to my emails and phone calls. The view of the lake and course was stunning. To this day we still have friends tell us that our wedding reception was the best they had ever attended. I would highly recommend Eagle Eye!

this place was awsome!!! we were on the west lawn and the view was perfect! better than i could have imagined. it is on a hill overlooking the pond in the backdrop so great for pictures. there is also a little garden and the buikding which is nice looking and has many gardens around it. the staff was extremely nice and catered to your every want and need. they truley know what they are doing here and have the perfect staff for this kind of job. it was amazing and i would recommend for anyone that wants an outdoor wedding.

The staff at Eagle Eye did an amazing job for my August 29, 2009 wedding. The food was to die for and all of our guests said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. All of the staff there are very helpful and quick to respond back if you have any questions or need help with anything. I highly recommend Eagle Eye!

If you are looking for a classy, but cost effective place to have your reception, Eagle Eye Golf Course is the place to go. They also have a beautiful wedding garden and chapel where you can have your wedding and reception all in one location. They were fast at responding and making sure your day was as good as it possibly could be.

Beautiful location and they catered to our every need! I will have many more parties there in the future! The food was delicious and the cake by Naomi was BEAUTIFUL and tasted just as good!

We had our ceremony at the Hawk Hollow Chapel and our reception at the hillside room at Eagle Eye. Everything was perfect. We were originally drawn to this venue due to the convenience of having the ceremony across the street from the reception. But then we also fell in love with the gorgeous setting, with the large pond behind the reception room and the balcony for guests to enjoy the nice weather and view. The food was great, especially the chicken dish. Carla and Julie were great with the planning process, which helped alleviate some of the stress that goes along with planning a wedding. I would highly recommend this venue to a friend.

We had our wedding reception in the Lakeview room at Hawk Hollow and it was absolutely beautiful. We worked with Melissa through the process and she was amazing. Her communication was excellent, she was there the night of the wedding to make sure that everything was on track, it was perfect. The food was great too! We chose the Dijon chicken and beef tips and got multiple compliments on both. We are so glad we went with Hawk Hollow! Everything was perfect.

Hawk Hollow had an extremely professional staff. They worked with me on every aspect. They asked all the right questions and I always felt at ease. The only thing I found expensive was the alcohol but reasonable compared to most places. The location is beautiful and the pictures we took are amamzing. Great place.

We rented out the Lakeview Room for our reception and it was absolutely gorgeous. All of our guests couldn't get over it. The food was exceptional and the staff was great. My only minor complaint was that the AC wasn't turned up enough so it was pretty hot in the room.

Hawk Hollow was excellent and we highly recommend them. All throughout the process of planning and arranging, Melissa and Carla in the event management were very helpful and responsive. They were flexible with meeting times (Melissa even met with us on a Saturday!) and had all the details to work out with us- a nice list of questions that made sure we were all on the same page (napkin color, arrangements, etc.). Their office is highly professional as was their wait staff and bartender.

The hall is wonderful with wrap around porch or patio depending upon which room you reserve. There are plenty of places to take photos. Hawk Hollow was about middle of the road for everything regarding costs (room rental, food, etc.). Their food was excellent! We had the barbecue buffet, which was new for 2009 I believe. Our guests loved it! I definitely recommend this buffet as an option if you have people who like country food.

Hawk Hollow / Eagle Eye can book up fast, so make your reservations early. We have no regrets about this venue or their staff. Please check it out!

We were so impressed with Hawk Hollow. Melissa was wonderful, so helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had- no matter how big or small! Ray ran everything at the Chapel so smoothly! I couldn't have asked for a better ran ceremony. The reception was great also. The food was excellent, and the staff was very professional. It looked great!

Hawk Hollow is a wonderful place for a Wedding Reception. The rooms are roomy, clean and well-lit. The staff, including Carla (banquet manager that helped us) and Todd (chef that helped us) are second-to-none. They are very professional and at the same time extremely easy and fun to work with. The food there is extremely good. There is nothing we sampled that we didn't love. It made it tough to pick which dishes to order!!!

We had both our ceremony and reception at Eagle Eye Golf Club (of Hawk Hollow). The ceremony garden and reception room were beautiful and the grounds were very well maintained. There was another wedding reception taking place that evening in the building and you would have never known it. Carla, Melissa, Sarah, and Steve were amazing and a joy to work with. They made sure everything was taken care of and even pulled off a wonderful surprise for me (the bride who is a bit of a control freak). Every detail was taken care of and my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day. In addition to all of this, by far the best of all was the food! We are still getting compliments on how great it was. Eagle Eye and Hawk Hollow offer many different reception rooms which can accommodate any size wedding. When we began researching venues large enough to accommodate at least 300 guests, Eagle Eye was by far the most beautiful, the newest, and ended up being the most reasonably priced in the area.

Great location on beautiful golf coarse. Patio overlooks 18th green sunset included at dusk. Food is fabulous for a wedding reception. Lansing area does not have an over abundance of reception sites and this is the place to have an event. Book early especially for a summer wedding. Carla and Melissa are also very easy and professional to work with. Cost provided includes renting room and food for 250 guests.

This venue was great! But here are a couple things to watch out for:

1) the venue does not provide an on-sight coordinator. If you want your wedding day to run smoothly, you'll have to hire a wedding day coordinator (or ask a friend).
2) the venue is quite expensive you wish to have your big day on a day other than a Sunday; however, if you do choose a Sunday, prices are cut in half!
3) just like most vendors, you'll need to book this one at least a year in advance to get the date you really want.

Otherwise, the site was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the food taste great!

I am so glad we chose Hawk Hollow. It was a bit of a drive to get out there from our church in S. Lansing, but the reception and the grounds were beautiful. There was another wedding upstairs from us, and we couldn't tell that anyone was there until the end of the night when there were only a few of us left. I could not believe that we didn't hear footsteps or the DJ's music coming through the ceiling.

Carla was extremely helpful since I was planning from out of town. The staff got everything right but were practically invisible (I mean that in a good way). Everyone was on the ball & the food was good & service was prompt & courteous. I thought the prices were a bit on the high end of things, but I think it was worth the extra bit that we paid for the quality of staff, service, & room maintenance (well cared for, looked good even with minimal decoration).

We had our ceremony at the chapel and our reception at Hawk Hollow in the Lakeview room and it was truly beautiful. We started the process working with Hannah who we found out later only worked for them part of the year so we then worked with Carla closer to the day. We got married on a Friday to help reduce the price and being the "off season" in Michigan allowed us to get in the day before to decorate locations since nothing else was booked. The majority of the time the staff at Hawk Hollow was easy to work with, there are a lot of different people however that you work with during planning and on the day of. The on-site coordinator for the day of Hilary was great. Our only complaints were things like they wrong linens were set until we corrected it and small things like plants weren't there until they day before because they were in storage. Todd, the chef at Hawk Hollow is very easy to work with and made a great meal. Their bartenders however were a little difficult. We did a drink ticket system and then an open bar. As the bride I went up to the bar and asked for a drink and was told to bring my ticket and or cash (a picture of me was ON the drink tickets) I then replied are you sure and he said "well are you in the bridal party or something?" As a I stood there in my wedding dress the bartender quickly then started making a larger than normal drink. They also sent us a sweet thank you card however, spelled my first name incorrectly.

We couldn't do too many pictures outside because it was April and had snowed the day before. However, the venue is truly beautiful. The food can get pricey but we had our numbers come back much much lower than had planned and they were willing to accommodate prices with us which was incredible.

My wedding was at hawkhollow golf course and I couldn't have chosen a better venue. This place is a bit pricey so we had to sacrifice a few details. This place is beautiful for August weddings.

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at Hawk Hollow with our wedding ceremony taking place outside of the Lakeview room in the garden overlooking the lake and our reception was held inside the Lakeview room. The food was great but not a great value for a couple on a budget. We ran out of food which was our fault for not ordering enough but we could only purchase what we could afford especially since our menu only consisted of Pizzas, party subs, appetizers and beverages.

We had a 5pm wedding the beginning of June so it was very hot outside. They had known for months about our wedding being held there yet the day of when we arrived the AC was NOT turned on inside. They thought that since the wedding started at 5pm that was when they would turn the AC on. It was incredibly hot in that room and with me wearing a huge dress it made for a very uncomfortable evening. Even though we had tons of fun anyways, my fun was always cut short due to me not wanting to pass out.

Other than that mishap and the price Hawk Hollow really is a gorgeous place to have a wedding/reception. They have better room rates for getting married on a friday (which we did) and that really helped with our budget. The staff was out of this world awesome! Very professional and attentive to our needs.

We had our ceremony at the Chapel at Hawk Hollow and reception in the Hillside room at Eagle Eye. Our day was absolutely perfect! The chapel and outside gardens were absolutely beautiful and the views from the Eagle Eye venue were amazing. The bridal party was able to drive the golf carts from the chapel to the Eagle Eye location where we drove around the golf course and took all of our photos. Everyone had a great time!

We had the most wonderful day-of coordinator, Patience. She was the most helpful person we worked with the entire time and made the day run completely smooth. She was also very helpful in organizing our rehearsal and was able to get us in the day before our wedding to set up our ceremony and reception.

We did the 2 entree buffet and it was wonderful. Our guests were raving about the food during and after the wedding! We would recommend both Hawk Hollow and Eagle Eye to anyone wanting an amazing and beautiful wedding!

I really enjoyed my experience with Hawk Hollow. The room i used was in great condition with a beautiful view. The staff was really professional and easy to work with. I have a very busy work schedule and they really worked around it. I would recomend them to anyone looking for a great indoor reception location.

Working with this team was great but you needed to be persistent to get answers right away on things. Overall the venues were great and provided an excellent place for our wedding and reception.

We had a great reception and Hawk Hollow was great to work with. They are a little pricy but for the quality of the room, food and experience it was well worth it. They also gave me a free round of golf for 4 and the courses they have there are amazing. We did have the A/C overheat due to a late july wedding, but we just opened the windows and it worked out fine.

We had a beautiful reception at the Hawk Hollow location. They allowed us to come in the evening before and decorate. The food was excellent. People commented that it was the best prime rib they ever had. We choose a buffet style service. The bartenders and other waitstaff were prompt and courteous.

The main gentleman we dealt with was great. The only problem was that one person told us we could use both rooms and then we were not allowed to. Otherwise the location was great and the staff were great.

NIce place...Bad food

Attended a wedding earlier this month and loved the Chapel and reception venue. I wish I could say the same for the food. I had a steak and when it arrived at the table my 1st impression was that it was nicely charred, possibly to the point of being well done but I was ok with that. When I cut off the first bite it was blood red inside. It was so rare (or better yet, raw) that it was inedible. I ended up eating the potatoes and vegetables and left the steak on the plate. I wasn't alone in that either. Most of the people seated around me did the same thing. I have had better steaks at Leo's Coney Island and everyone knows that Leo's is not the establishment one goes to for a good steak

Over all the venue was pretty good. A lot of things I was un aware until I returned from my honeymoon. They only brought out half of our appetizers, so we had 300 people and only enough "snacks" for 150. But, we still got billed for all of them. Apparently they also tried to over charge us for the beverage service as well. Also, the one thing that did annoy me most was everytime I sat my drink or plate of food down, I would turn right back around and it would be gone. I guess they did an EXTRA good job at bussing the tables off. It was well priced and over looking the golf course was amazing!
