The most amazing photographer 🩵

Liz is truly an absolute queen at what she does. From our first FaceTime, I knew she’d be the perfect addition to our most special day. Liz is professional, funny, caring and so good at what she does. When my husband and I met her for the first time for our engagement shoot, we immediately hit it off. She truly feels like an old friend in the best way. She gave the best recommendations on posing and her style of editing is truly gorgeous.

Come to our wedding day and Liz made me, my husband and our family and bridal party feel so comfortable. She truly was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She worked seamlessly with our videographer and together they made magic happen. Her pricing is beyond fair and she truly will communicate with you every step of the way to ensure you get everything you want.

Liz was incredible. We were recommended to her by some of our friends, and once we saw her gallery, booked immediately! Amazing photographer

Liz is amazing, talented, patient, and kind! On the day of my engagement shoot, my fiancé and I were running 20 minutes behind. We called Liz and she was understanding and patient with us. Funnily enough it was drizzling at the start of our shoot and instead of rushing to beat the rain, Liz suggested we return to finish taking our pictures another day. The pictures turned out amazing! We can’t wait for Liz to capture our wedding day! We highly recommend her!

Liz is a class act!

Liz could not have been a better wedding photographer or person throughout the wedding process. From our initial meeting I knew right away that she was different than the other photographers that I interviewed, she cared and was so genuine. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable and we honestly had so much fun! Then leading up to the wedding, she helped me plan my timeline which just led to the most seamless wedding day. She of course came early on wedding day and starting clicking away. Our whole bridal party felt so comfortable around her and she captured the most beautiful moments. I could not imagine a more perfect day without Liz!

The Absolute Best

Liz is seriously amazing! Not only is her work absolutely gorgeous, but she’s also such a great person to have by your side. She knows exactly how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and helped keep everything running smoothly from start to finish. Liz was with us through every step of the wedding planning, giving us tips, calming our nerves, and even connecting us with awesome vendors we wouldn’t have found otherwise.

The photos? Stunning! She somehow managed to capture every single moment without us even noticing her there—she and her team just blended right in. They moved so naturally through the crowd, never getting in anyone’s way but still getting all the perfect shots.

Book Liz! Amazing Photographer & Amazing Person

We found our photographer, Liz, through our venue's recommendation, and we are so happy we booked her for our wedding. Liz is a true professional, and her work is incredible—she captured our big day perfectly! From start to finish, she was on top of everything, and now we have an album full of beautiful photos that we’re still going through, reliving every moment of the night.

We were up against the clock and the threat of rain to get our first look and some outdoor photos. Liz worked quickly and efficiently, ensuring we optimized every minute we had before the rain started. She made us feel calm and confident throughout, and we got stunning shots in the limited time we had outside.

Liz offers different packages, and we chose the 8-hour package with a second photographer. We're so glad we did! Chris, the second photographer, was equally amazing and captured so many fantastic shots. Our package also included an engagement session with Liz, and we highly recommend taking advantage of this! It was a great opportunity to meet and work with her before the wedding, and we got a bunch of gorgeous photos to use for our wedding invites.

Liz radiates such positive energy, and we were thrilled to have her as part of our special day. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, energetic, and thoughtful photographer!

There is no one like Elizabeth, book her!

When my now husband and I were initially looking for a photographer for our wedding, we really did not know where to begin or what to look for. We wanted our photos to be authentic and natural as possible, and not to be choreographed or artificial. When we first saw the portfolio posted under Havana Photography, it really stuck out how different Elizabeth’s style was compared to the others we saw. The couples looked truly happy and at ease in the photos. They didn’t appear excessively posed, and it legitimately looked like they were having fun with the process. Our analysis was confirmed to be spot on when we met her for the engagement photos. We had an absolutely amazing time during the one hour shoot at a public park. The cherry blossoms were in bloom, and even my now husband loved the process and the outcome despite not being a “photo person”. Elizabeth truly does make it a point to illustrate the love, joy, and story of the couples she works with, and does so in such a natural and pure way. It’s impossible to not absolutely be in awe of the outcome. More importantly, you can tell how much she really cares. She was responsive over the course of months, supportive like a friend even from states away (I planned a New Jersey wedding from Miami), and very helpful in any way she could be. I honestly don’t think our wedding would have been nearly as wonderful without her being a part of the process. She really was an incredibly lucky find, and I would recommend her time and time again to anyone and everyone. If in some alternate universe I had my wedding in Miami instead, I would have even covered her travel and stay to still be our photographer. She really is just that amazing and talented to the point that I really can’t imagine having anyone else capture our story….you won’t regret booking her.

Couldn’t have asked for anything better!!

Liz was absolutely amazing from the booking process to the photos! She understood all of my circumstances with family emergencies I had leading to rescheduling. Once we finally got a date set everything was smooth sailing. She recommended deep cut gardens for our session and lo and behold that was one of my favorite places I saw! The session was so much fun and exciting, she even had a content creator taking videos of her (and my fiancé and I) behind the scenes. We laughed a ton, talked a lot and just had the most amazing time! I couldn’t recommend her enough! Thank you for capturing all of our love in photos we get to cherish for a lifetime!

Don’t think twice!

Liz is amazing! She has been photographing my family since my engagement photos in 2017. Cinematic photographer of your dreams

Before I even met my now husband, I knew I wanted liz to photograph my wedding one day. Luckily we met in the industry and have been able to work together for nearly 7 years. Her obvious talent of being able to capture the in the moment photos and perfect editing style to not take away from the beauty of the lands apes and colors of the people in the photos. We have recieved countless compliments from family and friends about her personality and artistic eye! Unbelievable- BOOK

As expected, it of course had to be hurricane weather on my predicted date for photos, Liz was so corruptive; I reached out in panic for several days (as annoying as I am) and she put up with it LOL but regardless. We ended up getting a beautiful day on the beach. My fiancé (the guy he is) was so cranky prior to it, Liz warmed him up and got him talking and we all had such a great time!!!! She made us feel like a million bucks, we had no experience but she said “just be yourselves” and had us stand certain ways and do certain things. Like WOW we only got a draft (cause it was yesterday) but I cannot wait for the ENTIRE album. Im so excited.

Absolutely amazing

Liz and her husband are AMAZING!!! Best photographer in the business. I searched far and wide for a good photographer in a good price range. I couldn’t justify paying some of the prices I was seeing - what’s the difference in quality? Nothing. Liz does this because she has a passion for this and that is what sold me. She has a passion and it showed throughout the day. She has an amazing personality and we loved getting to know her throughout the process. We love our photos! The other thing about Liz is she goes above and beyond for her clients - I told her my vision of going to the beach for photos day of and when we did a final meeting at the venue she and I went on a scout and picked everything out and then day of her husband drove us to the beach and other offsite locations and got the best pictures. Book her now!

Liz is an amazing photographer and the nicest person. She was a pleasure to work with and made us feel so good on our wedding day. She directs you in the best way possible - and I needed direction! I am shockingly stiff on camera. Liz rocked our wedding photos and she did our engagement shoot too! Those photos were amazing and the perfect fall day.
Even though we are still waiting on our wedding photos (we're only 17 days into our marriage!), she killed it with the teaser she gave us. I gave her a list of shots that we wanted to get done BEFORE our ceremony and she got through them all. We wanted all our pictures done before the ceremony so we could enjoy cocktail hour with our guests. She took that list and ran with it. She even somehow got us all finished with the bridal party and BOTH sides of the family early and we were able to have a little more time with our bride and groom shots. What I really do and did appreciate about Liz is that truly listens to you and doesn't push you to do something for a shot. After the ceremony, I was just so pumped up and exhausted at the same time that I just wanted to eat and sit down before going out to cocktail hour. Liz asked if we wanted to get any more shots outside before the sun fully set and, while it may have made for an amazing picture, we were done at the moment. We said no and that was it. That might not seem like much, but to me, it meant a lot. We had a few minutes to collect myself before greeting guests and I appreciated her for that. Liz is amazing and I would 100% recommend her to anyone and everyone I know. And I will be calling her in the future when I need a photographer! We love you Liz!

My husband and I have been working with Liz since our engagement in 2016. I absolutely loved working with Liz. She did our engagement photos as well as our wedding. I’m usually very awkward with photos and attention but she made it a very comfortable experience. She’s fun to work with and has a great eye for lighting. I also appreciated how polite and patient she was with family members who were over an hour late for the photos and was able to get the shots we needed before the natural light was gone for the evening. Amazing experience!

I found Liz through a friend sharing photos from their wedding and was immediately impressed. Not only are her and her husband easy people to work with, but when I had an issue getting my contact lenses in time for the engagement shoot, they were gracious about rescheduling even though I only told them that day. I'm not one to want my photo taken, but they made it so comfortable and easy and the photos I have from my wedding day captured not only the event but the feeling of being there that day. Let me start by saying- you should go and hire Liz right now!!! My fiancé and I did a 1-hour engagement photoshoot with Liz. We were nervous going into it, but Liz made us feel so comfortable and we had SO much fun. Her pricing was extremely affordable based on the amazing quality and the quantity of photos she sent to us.
She sent us a few teaser photos the night of our photoshoot which got us so excited to see the rest. She prepared all ~150 photos for us within 1 week! She is responsive to email and text. Liz provides you with a USB with all of the photos she took, so you have all the photos right at your fingertips. Her website that she uses to post photos for you is very user-friendly.
Our expectations for the photos we received were blown away by all the amazing work Liz did. You should definitely hire her for any of your photography needs!

The Very Best!

The very best! We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Liz. From the moment we met her, she had the best energy and it was clear that she was passionate about her work. We booked her for our engagement shoot and our wedding day. Both sets of photos came out amazing!! We loved the photos so much that it was hard to choose our absolute favorites—there were so many great shots to choose from. She truly makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and is there to guide you when needed, while also capturing the natural, candid moments.

She was responsive throughout the process, timely (in fact, early for both days), and had a quick turnaround with both sets of photos. The albums we got with her were amazing quality, even down to the packaging. We plan on having Liz take our future family photos and cannot wait to work with her again!

Liz is incredible!

From the moment we met Liz, we knew that we wanted her to photograph our wedding. I had seen her work on wedding wire and instagram, and fell in love with her natural, photojournalistic style. In person, she was incredibly warm and inviting and that energy carried through the entire process from our first meeting to our wedding day. She collaborated with us on everything from the day's schedule to locations, to tweaking our wedding package to fit our needs. She even made a rainy day plan just to calm my nerves when I thought we might get rain on the day! Always very patient and easy to communicate with, I never felt uncomfortable emailing or texting her with random questions or concerns. On the day, she made all of us feel so special and brought a great positive energy to the whole experience. She also has an amazing eye, and is super passionate about her work. Perfection

My friend recommended Havana Photography. When we met Liz we knew Havana Photography was perfect for us. For our engagement shoot, we spend some time getting used to posing and being comfortable around the camera. That was exactly what we needed! On our wedding day they braved the cold and took beautiful pictures. We recently went through our photos and just loved how many little moments they captured. Amazing photographers!

We are so, so happy we found Liz (and Carlos) to be our wedding photographers! I don’t think you could possibly find kinder, more talented and fun people to work with. Liz is amazing and makes you feel totally comfortable (a huge deal for me since I don’t love having my picture taken). Her love for what she does is clear. Fantastic and Chill!

So if you’re looking for a photographer for your wedding please look no further! I originally heard about Liz from a co worker who’s son used My Havana Photography for his wedding and she had nothing but AMAZING things to say about Liz. After seeing some pictures I knew I had to book her! My husband and I did something unconventional and used a dear friend who’s passionate about photography to do our engagement pictures. My husband is totally camera shy and prior to booking Liz she was totally understanding and accommodating in this situation! Her correspondence is amazing, we got to FaceTime her before our date and this made us feel so amazing to meet face to face and to get to know each other we immediately became comfortable with Liz and came up with a timeline for our big day! She listened to us and really cared about how we wanted the day to run! And omg the day of that wedding went SO smooth! Liz started with me and my girls and we all had so much fun listening to music and dancing in the bridal suite she danced with us and captured all the amazing moments with my best friends, sisters, mom and mother in law. When it came to bridal party pictures (which is no easy task with a large party) Liz made everything perfect and easy which we loved! Carlos worked with the boys while they were getting ready and my husband said he was great! Liz helped me with my dress and held my flowers and was so professional and fun! Friendly and extremely talented photographers

We scoured the internet for weeks trying to find our photographer with no luck. We were looking for someone who had an artistic eye, that could not only capture our relationship but bring to light the history and art of our wedding venue. We are getting married this October 2019 and without even seeing the wedding photos I know we've picked the right photographer. We've had the opportunity to work with Havana Photography (Liz and Carlos) for two engagement sessions - the first in December and the second session this May. All of the pictures came out amazing! They know exactly how to make you look your very best and will make sure to position you or instruct you to make that happen. Truthfully, I can rave about them for days and usually do to ANYONE that will listen. Their talent is indisputable - just look at their website, facebook and instagram.

In addition to their pure talent and abilities, Liz and Carlos are super cool, genuinely kind, and extremely encouraging (seriously, they are the best hype crew ever). By our second session, I felt like we were hanging out with friends who were also just REALLY GREAT photographers. They are also very passionate about their craft. They are always trying new gadgets, lenses, angles, etc. and challenging one another to learn and try new and different things. Amazing Couple with Immense Talent

Liz and Carlos were the photographers for our wedding last July. They were receptive to any requests that we had prior to that day, and on the day of the wedding they did not disappoint. They were punctual but there were times we forgot they were there. They did not want to disrupt the natural flow of our getting ready prior to the wedding. We did a first look and pictures before the ceremony and they orchestrated everything beautifully. They were so good at reading the bridal party and knew which shots would be best. During the ceremony itself they were flawless. They did not block anyones view, however they managed to get unbelievable pictures of the ceremony from near and far views. After the ceremony the milled about the cocktail hour and reception snapping wonderful candid shots of our guests. They were so kind to all of our friends and family and offered to take any picture someone requested. They captured every moment and then some. We received our final photo gallery in no time. An entire gallery of wonderful photos that we were free to share with our family and friends. Many photographers limit sharing of the photos, but Liz insisted that they were ours to do whatever we pleased. We worked closely with her to create our wedding album and large print. Once we hammered down the details she had our personalized zip drive, album, and print to us in no time. We would recommend Liz to any couple or people in general. We will keep her and her company in mind for our future events that may need a photographer. She delivered everything she promised and more. In our opinion you can't put a price on a photographer that is this talented in their craft and is passionate about being an approachable human being at the event.

Storytelling At Its Finest

I have been waiting to review Havana Photography since the moment my fiance and I first met with them over FaceTime shortly after we got engaged. Before I even get into the nitty gritty of their talent as photographers, I would be doing a diservice if I didn't start by expressing how absolutely incredible Liz and Carlos are as people. These are the kind of people everyone wants and honestly, needs in their life. They have the most genuine spirit and beautiful hearts that immediately provide a sense of comfort that feels like you're with family. It's tough to describe, but the feeling is recognizable as soon as it hits you.

Professionally, these two are masterminds. They have an eye unlike any other photographers we came across. The absolute BEST thing about their work is that they don't create moments. Instead, they capture them in the most organic way and they let every couple's love tell a story. They are always prepared, with their hearts as their lenses and somehow manage to capture the most intimate moments in a way that is not at all invasive.

Throughout the planning process, Liz was my main contact and she was exceptional. Every question, worry or thought that I had was answered, soothed or embraced promptly in the kindest manner that made me even more excited for our wedding day. She listened intently to every detail of our vision for the day and spent a significant amount of time scouring our inspiration boards to make sure that they would capture the essence of who we are as a couple in both our engagement and wedding photos.

You will not regret letting these two spectacular humans tell your story. We've been married for 36 hours and have only seen 2 of Havana's photographs so far and already, we are BLOWN away. They immediately brought us back to those exact moments and our hearts were flooded with emotion. The warm tones, the detail, the lighting, the angles...it's magic in the purest form. We cannot wait to see the rest and to some day show them to our kids.

Liz and Carlos are an amazing team. I couldn’t have asked for better photographers, and we haven’t even had our wedding yet! When it came to taking our engagement photos, I really wanted to go to Old Town Philadelphia. I was hesitant to ask since they’re from north Jersey. However, Liz was so enthusiastic about the trip, which made me over the moon. This was my mine and my fiancé first time in front of the camera, and they made us feel so comfortable and calm. We literally walked all over the city for hours. Never once did they make us feel rushed. The album just came, which sparked my desire to write a review before the actual wedding. Everything is done so beautiful from the wooden usb with our picture on it down to the names embossed on the front of the album. No little detail has been left undone. Elizabeth is a true professional and the love for her craft shows in her vision with each photo she captures. Liz and Carlos were such a pleasure to work with. My boyfriend and I had been wanting to have some nice photos taken of us, just for fun. AMAZING. We love Liz and Carlos and cannot say enough amazing things about them and their work. I have had friends and family calling, texting, and emailing me for 3 weeks about how fantastic the pictures are so far. Liz and Carlos are the absolute BEST. For days after the wedding my husband would randomly say "Carlos made the morning of the wedding so fun while we were getting ready". The entire bridal party loved having them there. I absolutely loved Liz and her husband! We just got back our engagement photos and I opened them and cried! Honestly I was worried that my fiancé would be nervous in front of the camera but they made us so comfortable. I feel so lucky that we found them and I feel like the photos were just perfect for what we were looking for. Every question I have had, Liz has gotten back to me so quickly and made me feel heard. Not to mention the fact that as I have shared the engagement photos with friends and family everyone has agreed that they just captured our relationship perfectly! She is open to working with you, your budget as well as the photos you are looking for. She's an artist and I cannot WAIT to see the photos that she will take on our wedding day. We highly recommend Havana Photography! One of the best decisions my husband and I made during the entire wedding planning process was booking with Liz and Carlos! Quick to respond, cheerful and courteous. They were a joy to be around during our engagement session and we booked for our wedding right away. We have a great mix of formals and candids (which are my favorite!) They were the perfect fit for our small intimate wedding and they captured SO MUCH LOVE.

Liz& Carlos were an absolute dream to work with. We found them via instagram and fell in love. Originally we were planning an August 2017 wedding but quickly changed it to a surprised wedding for Feb. 4, 2017 and they were both on board and had no problem accommodating us. They are so flexible and made us and all of our guests feel so comfortable. We didn't even know they were at our reception because they are so low key. And the quality of pictures is amazing!! Liz & Carlos are quickly to respond emails and texts and their turnaround time is fantastic. If I could do it again, I would and they would be there with me. Thank you for capturing our surprise wedding!!

Working with for our family session Liz was a great experience. She was really flexible with scheduling our session, we had to reschedule once due to the weather. During our session we didn't rush and we able to enjoy the experience from start to finish. We loved all the images we got back and are so thankful to have captured this time in our lives.

Liz and Carlos are amazing! My husband and I had a blast working with them from start to finish. They are very attentive to emails, easy to work with, helped with any questions we may have had and captured every special moment! We couldn't have asked for better photographers!

Liz and Carlos were absolutely amazing the day of our engagement shoot! They are both so talented and super easy to talk to. They made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we felt like we were hanging out with friends! We cannot wait for our wedding day!!! Our engagement photos came out beautifully! If anyone is looking for a photographer, I recommend Havana photography. My fiancé and I took had Elizabeth shoot our engagement photos and...WOW! They are amazing! Elizabeth and her husband both did such a truly amazing job on them. We have gotten some unbelievable comments from friends/family already, they say we look like we are in a movie, out of a magazine, etc. I am so excited and happy that we chose them as our photographers. They captured our most special day in a way that we will truly appreciate and admire. They are very talented!!!!

Our wedding day was certainly the greatest day of our lives. We can certainly say that it couldn’t have been possible without Liz and Carlos of Havana Photography. In a mad search for a photography team – we came across Havana Photography and from the get-go we felt the passion and excitement that they had with photography – and we knew that would translate into a successful photo session for our wedding day. We had them meet us in our hometown for the engagement photo session and that was a fantastic preview of the talent that Liz and Carlos possessed. The pictures came out great and the moments they captured were outstanding!
Fast forward to the day of the wedding – in all the craziness of the day, nothing deterred Liz and Carlos from doing the most awesome job ever! All too many times you hear a bride and groom speak about all the times they missed because they were taking pictures – not with Liz and Carlos. Not once did they stop us during the wedding or reception to take pictures – they snapped shots as we went so we didn’t miss anything at all.
To us, the most important things to look for in a photography team is communication, consideration and passion. All is encompassed with Liz and Carlos of Havana Photography. We honestly could not imagine our wedding day without Liz and Carlos – they kept everything flowing and captured moments that were so precious to us. We look forward to reminiscing through our wedding photos and reliving the day.

We were shopping around for a photographer for our wedding and I happened upon this gem. We couldn't have been happier. Liz was so responsive with emails. We chatted like old friends and she took interest in what types of photos I liked, looking over my pinterest page for inspiration (in addition to her own beautiful vision and ideas). Her package included an engagement shoot and a second photographer, who happens to be her, also very talented, husband, Carlos! Their dynamic was so great, and he was able to take pictures of my husband and his groomsmen before the ceremony while she stayed with and photographed me and my bridesmaids. My husband and his buddies felt very comfortable with Carlos, referring to him as "the man" :), and me and my ladies just adored Liz.
During the reception, having two photographers meant double the pictures, which is fabulous because, when the day is over, you're going to want lots of pictures to reminisce. Also, they are extremely speedy with their turn around time. Our wedding was just 2 days ago and she had already sent me a link to a sneak peak album containing 21 GORGEOUS shots. It is because they so obviously love what they do that makes these two such a great team and such great photographers. So sweet, down to earth, easy to talk to—I could go on and on. For the cherry on top, their price is unbelievable for the quality of the work they do.
I highly recommend Havana Photography.
Thanks Liz and Carlos! We're so happy we booked you guys! We will be recommending you to all of our engaged friends!

Liz is an amazing photographer. She has a photojournalist style that will capture the feeling and emotions of your special day. Liz is very professional and extremely responsive. All questions, comments, concerns we had were answered the same day. Liz was on-time for all the appointments before, during and after the wedding. Our photos were delivered to us when promised. We have beautiful memories of our special day thanks to Liz! She was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Set aside our friendship, Liz of Havana Photography is one the best up and coming photographer in the tri state. I have personally recommended her to my family and friends....which have used her services and were extremely happy with the results. I can't say enough about Havana Photographey. From start to finish everything was perfect . My fiancé and I were nervous at first because we never taken professional pictures , but we immediately felt comfortable throughout the whole process. Thank you for working with us and making our photos look so beautiful !
