We had an absolutely tremendous wedding experience at the Harvard Art Museum!! This was in no small part due to our wonderful interactions with Neil Nolan from The Catered Affair. Quite frankly, Neil is the man! He is calm, amazingly understanding, attentive, kind and super resourceful! He was extremely patient in showing us the venues (Busch Hall and the Museum) multiple times and applied just the right amount of pressure to make sure that we got things done on time! Most importantly, he truly listened to our ideas and offered us both a seasoned eye and excellent advice in throughout every aspect of the wedding. Ultimately, we ended up deciding to have the ceremony outdoors at Busch Hall before moving the remainder of the festivities to the museum. Both venues were absolutely gorgeous, from the picturesque ivy on the walls of Busch Hall to the wonderfully airy feel of the Calderwood courtyard at the museum. Our guests enjoyed the chance to walk around the galleries and the overall service from the entire staff was exemplary! We also had multiple comments on how unique and delicious the food was! To summarize, we had the perfect experience from start to finish working with Neil, Geri (Harvard Art Museum) and everyone on the staff!

We can't say enough good things about the Harvard Art Museum. Neil Nolan at The Catered Affair and Geri Calvert at the Harvard Art Museum were a pleasure to work with and helped make our wedding both beautiful and fun. There are two things to think about when choosing a venue for your wedding - The planning process and the day itself. The Harvard Art Museum and the Catered Affair excelled at both. They are total pros and made planning our wedding easy and stress-free. They offered us good guidance, but were also receptive to our ideas. In short, they cared about making our wedding nice. The museum is also an absolutely gorgeous setting. The architecture plus the open galleries during cocktail hour really made for a unique wedding. The food is excellent and everyone on the staff worked to make the evening memorable for us and our guests.

Our wedding experience with The Catered Affair at the Harvard Art Museums, from start to finish, was absolutely perfect! Bryanne and Dakota made an amazing team, and made sure every single question we had was addressed. We always felt like TCA was ready and willing to make our dream wedding a reality. Geri and the entire staff at the Harvard Art Museums also helped make the experience extra special, and helped coordinate a flawless evening at this stunning venue. Their expertise and experience with weddings made them incredibly easy to work with, and from our first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. The team was also able to recommend many amazing vendors that we absolutely loved. On the day of the wedding itself, Bryanne and Dakota made sure that the entire event was executed seamlessly. It was a stress-free, magical day, and the TCA/Harvard Art Museums team really made it possible. The team remembered everything, even the tiniest details we had mentioned during our planning sessions. And they made sure we got to taste plenty of the delicious hor d'oeuvres, entrees and cake! We cannot recommend them enough!

My wedding at the Harvard Art Museums was SO much more than I had even imagined it would be. From the moment we stepped foot in the Museums a year before we were even planning for our wedding, to the final minutes of our special day, we had undivided attention, extreme customer service, and the most professional delivery of information. It was almost TOO easy as a bride working with the HAM and The Catered Affair staff - as each suggestion that I had, or component that I was planning to incorporate, was delegated to their team and taken care of. We had so much fun with the planning - especially when it came to the menu tasting (the food was delicious and beautifully plated)! Not only did we get to experience the level of dining that our guests would be experiencing, but we also had flexibility to tweak the menu to make it exactly to our tastes. As our wedding day neared, the Catered Affair staff was in full-gear, being available on my schedule for decoration drop-offs and final day-of agenda reviews. And when it came time to finally kick-back and celebrate, we didn't have to worry about a thing. We were able to enjoy time with our friends and family in the most stunning space in all of Greater Boston - and bask in the ambiance of everyone celebrating our special day. Definitely worth every single penny if you are looking for a spectacular one-of-a-kind venue for your wedding!!!

Our experiences with Shawna Plumer of Harvard Art Museums, Bryanne Pepin at Catered Affairs as well as with the catered affairs caterers and service staff were phenomenal. We planned our wedding in under four months in the newly renovated museum, but did not feel rushed into making decisions or lacking in options. Harvard Art Museums and TCA suggested creative and practical ways to help our guests enjoy an intimate ceremony and celebration that represented our families. They were always enthusiastic, professional, and available. We felt at ease during our ceremony and reception, knowing that everyone was made to feel welcome and had a delicious TCA-made dinner and cake to share. We wish the HAM and TCA teams lots of successful events at Harvard Art Museums– a breathtaking space during regular museum hours as well as during an event. Go visit!

My husband and I got married at The Harvard Art Museum this past September. If you are looking for a unique venue, beautiful space, and just an overall amazing team then this is the spot for you. From cocktail hour walking through the first floor galleries to main courses to the most amazing dance floor with all our friends and family we had the best day of our lives! Eliza and Dakota (and the rest of the HAM/Catered Affair Teams) are a dream to work with. We were planning from NYC and Eliza always made sure to communicate with me however it was easiest for us and we were able to coordinate visits/tastings/walk-throughs with ease. I think the most important part that we appreciated on our wedding day was that we really did not have to worry about anything once we stepped inside the museum. All we had to do was focus on each other and having a good time. Every vendor was coordinated with one another and we felt confident that everything was taken care of which was such a relief to both my husband and I but our families as well. The food--- we walked around to many tables during dinner and to say everyone LOVED the food would be a very big understatement. We have been to many weddings and this food/drink service does not compare to any other weddings we've been to. The attention to detail from cocktail hour all the way to dessert/service was impeccable. Little details go a long way and we can confidently say that each small detail as the result of the effort of these amazing teams made our wedding day the best day of our lives. We can't thank you all enough!

There were very few issues with our wedding, and The Catered Affair handled them smoothly and quickly, some without us even being aware of them. Highest recommendation for this price range.
